Alright the fuck is going on with Firebird?

Sometimes the buff just persists on me after burning/killing an elite mob and I end up doing 30-90mil damage. Then sometimes it just doesn't happen at all.

Also did anyone else manage to do the set dungeon? I can do everything but actually full-clear it in the time limit.

I think the cold immunity necklace negates all the damage in that place aside from the melee of the yeti's.

I just managed to run into a bunch, let them 'kill me' to proc the meteor, pop black hole and tp out immediately then just disintegrate into all of them. It either then counts or doesn't, seems rather RNG dependant. But to be honest i'm not sure how you're supposed to do all of that AND then full clear before the timer is out. I end up with 40-50 left alive and that's on a GOOD spawn pattern.

I just started out playing today, downloaded and went for the starter pack.

A couple of questions.
Right now I am doing the start of the game quest, where I need to find something for the blacksmith so I can go ahead and kill the skeleton king.
I am level 8 and pretty much 2 shot everything while taking no damage (I either block all the attacks or just heal up the damage they deal in an instant).
Is this how its supposed to be? or is it because I accidentally chose a beginners mode or something.

Also how is the online multiplayer for new players? Will I get matched with people or is the online dead / filled with people playing the game again and just steamrolling everything to hit late game?

I just cleared GR 49 on this toon. I was basically unkillable save for when I get careless but I only had the damage to complete the rift with a few seconds remaining.

Is there anything I change to improve my build? I know I need to get better Endless Walk, Shame of Delsere, and a higher roll on Arcane Orb Damage on the Scepter but that's about it.

Guys, I had 6 set on my DH so after completing Chapter IV to receive the same set again, I instead rolled a barb and completed the Chapter then.

Stampede is the only viable rune for it. Go crazy spamming the screen full of horsies

Welfare set thing is sort of a hit and a miss. In general it's really nice not to have to count on rng to get your first set to get started in the season. I've had a couple seasons where I got my 6pc about 20hours later than my friends while playing in a group. The rng can be a bitch and with the current design philosophy you can't really enjoy the game without a 6pc (or a LoN build but that's not viable early on).

At the same time it skips part of the fun that was hunting for the set on a new character. Also the choices of sets for diff classes are a bit off.

Why do alot of the bounty missions make me walk so far before I can start doing anything? Am I just missing checkpoints from scenario or something? Why is the base movement so slow when the maps are so big with no indication of where to go for the objective? That's such bad design.

Crusader is an interesting melee class, they can be bulky as fuck or a glass cannon, lots of ways to play them, even ranged builds.

DH shadow 6-set lets you 1-2 shot rank 40 grift bosses with even the most basic of gear and no legendary gems.

If it matters at all, I've never played a dh or wd before, and I played ww and lolpalm whatever last season. And back in pre-expac ros launch I played wizard (Havn't tried wizard again since then since the sets make it look like you have to do some real annoying stuff all the time to get your damage)

Early levels are pretty boring. The game basically starts at level 70. Play through the campaign to get used to the game and after that you get to 70 and begin the eternal grind.

Yeah I played ww and tried hota and while they were okay (loved ww for turning off brain for general farming for other classes or in general) leaping to cause fuckhuge damage in an area sounds fun, along with the ability to throw spear and dump my load on a boss. So is that build good? Or is there better.

The main builds I was looking at for getting welfare were the barb one or trying that silly demon hunter one, but I've never tried DH since I heard it gave hand aids, and I didn't really like their 2 resource system thing. Rest I wasn't really sure about.

Raekors is the best set by quite a bit this season, I believe but MotE is still usable. I think it can clear 80+ in Grift. Not amazing but good enough. I just play it because it's really fucking fun mostly.

I actually don't remember what it was that changed that. I think part of it was the affix nerfing, a lot of the "bullshit" enemies finally getting balanced, set reworks and buffs, etc. The game has changed a shit ton in like 2 patches.
