this thorns is just stupid im stacking vitality and i do 100k when hit
>It plays just the same on a modern PC as it played on a contemporary PC.
No, it doesn't. Just for starters, CRT monitors displayed 800x600 native rather than the putrid scaled shit on an LCD monitor.
For another, 800x600 is not acceptable in 2016. It was in 2000, not anymore.
And yes, I know there's a 1080p patch. It doesn't work online so sorry, no good for my use.
>You just put up with it back then.
And I am supposed to keep putting up with shitty framerate and resolution? No. I got sick of it. Not the game itself.
>Seeing as how you think Diablo 2 being a total technical mess is exclusive to modern PCs, I'm probably talking to some 18 year old hipster who never actually played it but heard it's what /v/ likes so you like it too.
Seeing is how I just played a Diablo 1 mod with 1080p and 60fps and it was fucking awesome, I'm pretty sure you're straight retarded.
>got on a bit late
>played to lv50
>log off. log on PoE, do my dailies.
I'm not sure I will log again tomorrow... god damn doing rift nonstop is boring. I upped the difficulty to Master since everything was getting toasted but it feels artificial already... anyone else like this?
three part objective
you get 2 pieces for hitting level 70
2 pieces for killing t2+ zoltun kulle
2 pieces for soloing grift 20
basically just hitting level 70 should make you powerful enough to do all that
Is Monk still One Punch Man with Exploding fist set?
Last season I was exploding fist build.
>whole dungeon explodes all at once
>one shotting bosses
Now that the new season is here, I have a boner for playing my Monk in the new season again.
Alright the fuck is going on with Firebird?
Sometimes the buff just persists on me after burning/killing an elite mob and I end up doing 30-90mil damage. Then sometimes it just doesn't happen at all.
Also did anyone else manage to do the set dungeon? I can do everything but actually full-clear it in the time limit.
can't get the set dungeon done
I have no concept of how many 20 of those little guys are
I round up about 3 groups of them and say
yeah thats gotta be 20
burn them all and get 0 progress while they all die
I gave it about 30 good attempts and am now just giving up until I get better gear so that I don't get 1 shot by the snowballs
I think the cold immunity necklace negates all the damage in that place aside from the melee of the yeti's.
I just managed to run into a bunch, let them 'kill me' to proc the meteor, pop black hole and tp out immediately then just disintegrate into all of them. It either then counts or doesn't, seems rather RNG dependant. But to be honest i'm not sure how you're supposed to do all of that AND then full clear before the timer is out. I end up with 40-50 left alive and that's on a GOOD spawn pattern.
So this is my first time playing Wizard and Im already 70 and have the complete Firebird set and Im following this build http://www.diablofans.com/builds/70102-2-4-t6-firebird-starter-build
Isnt Explosive Blast kinda lackluster? Im was using Mammoth Hydra and found it to be very useful.
>just realized there are probably people who play this game at less than 144hz/144fps
>he thinks he sees 144 frames in d3
I'm new to the general (and returning to D3 today, last played at launch) and opened my FPS display because I thought the fucking shit was running awfully, nope, everything just moves at a low as shit framerate, 60. It looks awful, frankly. Waste of my monitor.
Barbarian with Wastes of the Earths set.
That's my gear so far. I'm having hilarious amounts of fun jumping around on everything and throwing boulders at people.
>tfw you two shot a hammer rift guardian with boulders
I just started out playing today, downloaded and went for the starter pack.
A couple of questions.
Right now I am doing the start of the game quest, where I need to find something for the blacksmith so I can go ahead and kill the skeleton king.
I am level 8 and pretty much 2 shot everything while taking no damage (I either block all the attacks or just heal up the damage they deal in an instant).
Is this how its supposed to be? or is it because I accidentally chose a beginners mode or something.
Also how is the online multiplayer for new players? Will I get matched with people or is the online dead / filled with people playing the game again and just steamrolling everything to hit late game?
>being this dumb
>buying a monitor that you're too stupid and ignorant to even understand let alone appreciate
>caps it directly on the refresh rate
why would you waste your money?
nvm don't answer that. if you really bought a 144hz monitor for d3 then all you paid for was a smoother cursor, literally, dumb nigger.
EQ barb is great fun.
Finding ancients is ass though
Is anyone out there lonely enough to hook me up? I'll be your friend for at least 2 or 3 days.
I'm casual as fuck so I don't care but in every arpg I see hardcore play seems to consist of playing a difficulty lower than necessary or stacking health
Where's the fun in that?
Area Damage if the gloves in question is not ancient. If it is, get Vitality on it. Barrier Blades scale with Vitality.
All resist in gear mean little to the Wizard since she gets a ton from stacking Intelligence.
I just cleared GR 49 on this toon. I was basically unkillable save for when I get careless but I only had the damage to complete the rift with a few seconds remaining.
Is there anything I change to improve my build? I know I need to get better Endless Walk, Shame of Delsere, and a higher roll on Arcane Orb Damage on the Scepter but that's about it.
I'm still in the application process, and regardless, like I said, I'm Canadian, 1 cad is currently 0.69 USD, and food is rising up 50% if not more.
Also any money I do come into contact with needs to be put towards some non-covered medical care that I need to get done before my open heart surgery to fix my congenital heart defect
Anyone else dissapointed with this season? It's way too fucking easy. What they fixed by adding T7-T10 has been destroyed now.
I mean, DH gets their, as far as I know, best set the moment they get to 70. Where's the fun in that?
Here's hoping the class dungeons at least dont suck dick
Yeah sure, but at least it added something a lot harder than T10 outside of GR. T6 was a cakewalk for everyone before that, you at least had to be geared well to do T10.
It feels like everyone will jump into T10 now.
Found these pants but they don't even work, except the negative effect. No damage is dealt at all.
Guys, I had 6 set on my DH so after completing Chapter IV to receive the same set again, I instead rolled a barb and completed the Chapter then.
I got the portrait and pet, but not the gear? It's not in my stash, not on my DH etc.
Will it randomly appear at level 70?
Yes. Speaking from a pre S5 point of view (idk what's changed so far) there's a shield that doubles the number of Phalanx's, 2hand spear that gives you +physical damage, then get +physical damage on everything else you can. Stampede is the only viable rune for it. Go crazy spamming the screen full of horsies
sand wasps meme is still there
offscreen angel charges meme is still there
exarch meme is still there
winged assassin meme is still there
exorcist meme is still there
back to other games I go
Invoker is very viable but it's not very fun of a build atleast to me. You mainly swing Punish and then combo Iron Skin with Consecration when your CoE ring goes to physical. Bombardment damage falls off hard and is only used with the belt to proc the 4pc bonus.
are wizards viable again
Yes and yes.
And get that beach-ball boob bullshit out of here.
Welfare set thing is sort of a hit and a miss. In general it's really nice not to have to count on rng to get your first set to get started in the season. I've had a couple seasons where I got my 6pc about 20hours later than my friends while playing in a group. The rng can be a bitch and with the current design philosophy you can't really enjoy the game without a 6pc (or a LoN build but that's not viable early on).
At the same time it skips part of the fun that was hunting for the set on a new character. Also the choices of sets for diff classes are a bit off.
Ponysader is a bit outdated and the new hotness is Bowmen with Eternal Union and/or the new helmet they made for Phalanx. I think both Akkhan and LoN variants exist.
Why do alot of the bounty missions make me walk so far before I can start doing anything? Am I just missing checkpoints from scenario or something? Why is the base movement so slow when the maps are so big with no indication of where to go for the objective? That's such bad design.
Well i'm glad i rolled a Wizard when firebird is complete garbage with the current set bonus bug.
>have to manually mouseover every single fucking new rune or skill to make this shit disappear
whoever designed this should kill themselves
I noticed, that makes it even worse. The game is basically telling you "Hey idiot you have to move across the map again because we couldn't bother making the path to the objective clear because reasons haha how hilarious is that !!!"
The lord of all evil literally erupted from her body and engulfed the heavens in flames
Nigga when you think she comming back
she aint popped out to the shops with trayvon to get some skittles
bitch is dead
The problem is that you can be going in the complete opposite direction for a long time before it appears unless you load in right by it.
There's no reason for this, it's retarded. They should just make the arrow appear immediately when you zone in or just put you in the fucking area you're supposed to be in.
EVERY FUCKING SEASON 8000 RUNS FOR ONE FUCKING BADLY ROLLED RORG
I know it's the D3G but the D2G on Vr is kinda dead.
I want to start fresh on Median Xl ultimative and I need someone , I already played it long time ago .
I'm downloading everything right now and i'll be ready soon.
English isn't my main language , i'm not really good at it and my accent is awful so i'll mainly stay quiet . I just want someone to play.
I don't like comsmetic pets in games. I decided to take my frost hound out for a while and realized she went out and picked up the gold that was dropping. I feel like an idiot for not knowing the pets did this.
Cow level even worth it or what?
Keep getting these shitty things.
Get through the story so you can do adventure mode, that's the real gameplay now.
Crusader is an interesting melee class, they can be bulky as fuck or a glass cannon, lots of ways to play them, even ranged builds.
Monk is crap. I was between wiz and dh, but since fb was nerfed to oblivion, I chose DH. Impale dh is pretty fun to play, and speed UE is probably the fastest TX clearer. Also, 4 viable 80+ sets.
how do i play this game
i looked at the new sets and the DH one gives huge bonuses if i have a melee weapon
but my DH cant use half of the melee weapons in the game and all his skills are ranged or require a bow in the first place?
if i want to be melee, I have to pick another class and do all that shit again?
>play RoS again, didn't play in 2.3
>have to do a rift and get a new key for every fucking Grift I do
>pick giant lumbering oaf dipshit with retarded abilities OMG SMASH EVERYTHIN IN FRON OF U
>pick crusader. again.
>monk >season 5 >lol
yeah whatever, this game is dumb, hearthstone is more challenging
>mad about this
>didn't play when you had to get a key
>then do a trial
>then upgrade the key or upgrade gems
>if upgrade gems need to do new trial
>need new key from normals
Empowered doesn't need a key, just gold.
>Spend fifteen minutes getting boosted to 70
>craft a weapon and kill Zul with set bonus
>Clear straight to twenty with 4 piece
>Proceed to start progressing with a full set for easy farming
Grant you some of the welfare sets are way better than others but all of them allow you at the very least to get to 30~ within an hour of play.
I don't think it's fair to compare any of the other sets to the DH one. It's not completely insane as far as power but it is by far the most braindead easy as shit one to use because all you have to know is to press one button.
imo the welfare DH set is by far the best for advancing I believe.
you're guaranteed to get the double damage chakram dagger(50/50 from upgrading a rare dagger) for clearing trash as well.
Compared to shit like firebirdLOL, the DH will advance far faster than some classes purely because they lucked out on the welfare set.
Oh yeah I just remembered why I quit last season. Being forced to use the Sage set to farm Death's Breaths is the dumbest fucking shit in the world. Elites should just drop two fucking Death's Breaths regardless of whether or not you're wearing the set.
>map indicators for keywardens
now they just need to have DBs drop from GRs, cosmetic pets pick up gems and crafting mats, and allow ramalamadingdongs to be purchasable even if they cost a ton in mats/gold
>get full set an hour after hitting 70
>only thing holding you back from t10 is your paragon levels
Alright d3g, give me your opinions on the welfare sets. If they are good/fun, etc.
If it matters at all, I've never played a dh or wd before, and I played ww and lolpalm whatever last season. And back in pre-expac ros launch I played wizard (Havn't tried wizard again since then since the sets make it look like you have to do some real annoying stuff all the time to get your damage)
pls no bully
So... what's actually new/different in season 5?
The description on battlenet gives me the impression you get a cosmetic tree man, a portrait thingy, and some overdesigned cosmetic armor.
Was there really no actual change to gameplay or mechanics? Is it just a reset+cosmetics?
Im currently having tons of fun stomping around on everything with Might of the Earth + Lut Socks. Shits entertaining.
Early levels are pretty boring. The game basically starts at level 70. Play through the campaign to get used to the game and after that you get to 70 and begin the eternal grind.
Yeah because hitting 70, farming normal for a yellow set, then jumping up to expert or master until you had a few legendaries or two piece, then jumping to T1, etc, was super fun.
>tfw you run out of booze and you're not even that drunk
i like them for that exact reason, getting stuck in lower torments because kadala is being a whore and you arent getting shit for drops isnt game content anybody likes
this helps casual players have fun earlier and doesnt affect the hardcore players at all aside from saving them a few hours of time early on
Yeah I played ww and tried hota and while they were okay (loved ww for turning off brain for general farming for other classes or in general) leaping to cause fuckhuge damage in an area sounds fun, along with the ability to throw spear and dump my load on a boss. So is that build good? Or is there better.
The main builds I was looking at for getting welfare were the barb one or trying that silly demon hunter one, but I've never tried DH since I heard it gave hand aids, and I didn't really like their 2 resource system thing. Rest I wasn't really sure about.
>Was there really no actual change to gameplay or mechanics?
blizzard gated a qol improvement for no reason whatsoever. other than that season is all about that nice fresh start, just like ladders in d2. you're more than welcome to keep playing your main characters.
So they're basically finished with balance and content patches then.
No knocking it. Just wanted to know what was such a big deal this season. At least last season had the cube and a new zone. That was neat.
Raekors is the best set by quite a bit this season, I believe but MotE is still usable. I think it can clear 80+ in Grift. Not amazing but good enough. I just play it because it's really fucking fun mostly.
you talking about the seasonal stash bonus or something? Is that just a bonus stash tab for earning it from season, or just a seasonal tab just for seasonal?
I only ever did season 4 (quit a little after season 1 started) so I'd only have 1 tab I guess.
It always pains me if the best is never actually the most fun. I remember struggling to get even to 60 solo in grift without grinding boatloads of ancients or paragon (or both), but how did people jump from doing 60 or so to 80s? I do remember hearing about some rift (and grift) changes.
this season/patch has a couple new zones and set dungeons which are pretty neat
every season patch is more or less a balance patch with at least minor additions like zones if you consider that content. more stuff on par with the cube would be nice but you know lolblizzard
>but how did people jump from doing 60 or so to 80s
I actually don't remember what it was that changed that. I think part of it was the affix nerfing, a lot of the "bullshit" enemies finally getting balanced, set reworks and buffs, etc. The game has changed a shit ton in like 2 patches.
Uh wait I have the full might set but I do not see where you throw boulders? What am I missing here?
>get shitload of stacks 3 times
>kill all the monsters
>the whole dungeon is those fallen imp things that run in 25 different directions
>Might of the Earth dungeon
>4 minutes to complete it
>Have to kill 240 mobs (all those fucking retarded dropping rocks and scattering imps)
>Also have to leap, ground stomp, and earthquake 7 elite mobs (in that order)
>EQ's CD is 60 seconds
minutes to complete
>>EQ's CD is 60 seconds
this is where you start thinking outside the box ever so slightly and pick up cooldown reduction effects
top bro warrior in terms of tryhard usefulness, whichever you like more in terms of fun
there's pages you find in the gameworld that describe where to find the set dungeons (or just look up the exact locations on any fan site) and if your talking about the new cube recipe its in the book with all the other recipes when you use the cube.
DH Shadow set is so fucking dumb.
The 2pc alone for that 600% damage shot me to t4, then I rolled through everything and got my 6pc
Now I'm at t9 without sweating. A decent ancient weapon or even just getting a Dawn to Kani so I can vengeance near 80-90% uptime I could do t10 ez
I love playing the broken class for once.
Top warrior bro, he purges black magicks with the will of a templar, heals, taunts and gives you resources.
He's basically waifu material.
tfw no hack/pig sticker
tfw no akarat's awakening
tfw no blood brother
I guess I feel it lacks AoE. I'm using bolas/chakram and it's alright. The knives are good but the cooldown sucks dick. I have a surplus of discipline all the time too that bugs me
hows your night /d3g/
are you pounding grifts with your best mate(s)?
I felt like this too. Shadow mantle with the vault belt makes an awesome assassin-like quick bounty set, but you do lack AoE dmg. I felt like it was much more of a team set in GRs than solo.
When do you guys usually get bored and stop playing? I just got my welfare 6-piece and I'm instantly bored, just "ehhhh the rest of it's just a hamster wheel"
I mean the entire game is a hamster wheel, but it's fun for a while and now it's not.
dam son. I'm using stomp leap eq avalanche with might of the earth, swooped through everything pretty ez, progress has been halted at gr38.
would you say boulderan is better than avalanchan
Haven't even tried Avalanche. I use cave-in Earth Quake, Boulders, Iron Impact Leap, then the three shouts. Shits cash.
>Jump three times
>Use Threatening Shout
>Manual cast EQ
>Use remaining fury on boulder on a mob you really dont like
>Start leaping again
when the only things that allow me to somewhat reliably progress further in GRs are obscene amounts of paragon, full ancient equips with near perfect stats, and straight up luck with mobs inside the rifts
i've blown like 2,5k shards on it already, no fuckin socks. just shitty legendaries with shit stat rolls, not a single ancient either. dont have ring of grandeur either, which, while not necessary, is nice.
Shit like this is why BT blows Av out of the water.
i think it was season 3 but some guy found a way to use those to get your damage to crazy high. blizz shut those pants off to stop the bug. thought they would have fixxed it by now
Random barb question, is leapquake better than whirlwind? WW was bretty gud up to about 8-9 as far as melting fast (and reasonably fast for bosses) so was very good in that regard. But it definitely lacked single (and halted me on solo GR at 56 or so last season with 0 ancients, and had AWFUL ancient luck and stopped)
Wondering if WW build got any buffs/nerfs or if other stuff has now power creeped it. Also the boulder toss leapquake looks good for both aoe and single target (actually not sure how good its single target is)
My friends and I always did it with the low level hosting at T6 so you're clearing through level 1 scaled shit super fast. I could host and do it on T10 probably, but I haven't tried yet. My CDR isn't maxed yet and my esoteric isnt 25 either yet. Still might be too squishy for it. I can do T8 though.
Hm alright. It sounds fun at least, although I'm a bit sad that raekor? Is the best, but is that fun too? Although I'm not sure I want to go getting used to whatever exploit if it's only there for a season (I don't care about leaderboards, just the dumb seasonal cheevo shit)
No, typical power leveling strat (again, this is unless they changed it this season) is the high level makes a T10 game and the low levels join. They all load into a rift. The low levels don't fucking move from that spot so they don't get destroyed and the high level clears it. The only time the low levels move is TPing to the high level when they go to the next floor.
>this motherfucker dashes in, repels all the enemies and heals you
Thank you based Templar bro. More skills for the Templar when blizz? Legendary gems when?
I actually just noticed this trying to start a T10. Didn't know they changed that.
The process is the same for whatever the max torment they can access is.
Yes, search for it in the clan finder.
If I mainly going to play with two friend which are a Wizzard and a Barb, what class should I try to built a better 3 member team? Im between DH (for instakill bosses) or a Sader (to tank the entire game).
bumping with a wallpaper for attention
I spoke to a GM and they said once I meet the criteria for it then the items will appear, I hit level 70 and that's not enough.
I assume I have to do all Chapters I - IV again even though it's account wide... gear lost, barb deleted.
>MFW lost 6 set legendaries
I could have, I only have myself to blame, I didn't have the hindsight to guess Blizzard's failure on this one, I thought the achievements were retard-proof but I'm their bump in the road.
Ok what the fuck is the trick to the might of the earth set dungeon. Earthquake is always one cooldown when I see an elite, how are you supposed to finish this in the alotted time?
>implying it's not
My thought process was this:
>I already have the set reward
>oh I can get a different set but only on another alt
>hand in achie
>oh look it's 'nothing' because I don't qualify for not being at the exact same stage as my main
I fucking love his voice. Other two can fuck off.
Also how would you all rank the welfare sets? As in best to worst (I can only imagine wizard and monk are on the bottom)
I'm not sure if you're stupid or a troll
Firebirds is broken so kinda eh, you'll do some ok damage though
Monk is crap because you need other parts to make it work too much
DH is broken as fuck because any random 70 legendary dagger and the 2pc will jump you to about t5-6.
I'm not sure if I want to do DH, Barb or sader (is the sader one actually good? I havn't played much sader honestly)
I do enjoy barb, but havn't really tried DH before but the build seems absolutely retarded for bosses, but obviously lacks on the AoE. So not sure which of the 3 to go for. Kind of leaning towards Barb since AoE is pretty useful/needed in general compared to single target (and I think the barb build has that? something about throwing boulders for over billions?)
Just looking for some input on how those 3 work before I make my choice and regret my welfare set.
>play wizard because they look fun
>get full firebird
>get some offpieces needed to make it work
>still struggle in rifts on torment 5+
>friends almost freshly dinged monk does almost twice my damage
I'm loving DH, yeah the lack of AoE really really hurts, the hardest mod for me to deal with is actually horde because I just physically can't hit fast enough/enough targets and lose a significant amount of time.
That being said, 1 hitting elites and 3 shotting RGs is the funniest thing I've seen in awhile.
Welfare barb set looks ok, I just wonder about it capping out and by that point I think you'd need raekors/IK which is really gear dependant and going to take time to get.
I could be wrong the Earth barb could do ok higher up and even push on ladder, but I didn't play it only charge.
Sader is very safe, a bit gear dependant with off set items iirc, but you'll live through anything and just face tank many elites at a time.
Watch some videos, see what looks fun and play it.
You're doing something wrong. Monks are in a bad bad bad place and are super gear dependant atm, you need your set and off pieces just to have it work.
>get 2p for hitting 70
>find belt that gives me free vaults for impaling
>melt down legendary quiver that gives me 2 extra sentries
>craft a born's furious wrath with 2.9k damage, 10% damage, a socket
>take engineering talent for extra sentry / double sentry time
5x sentry turrets, flipping around like an absolute madman and impaling for 50-80m literally an hour after hitting 70 is nuts
i haven't played diablo since 2.1 but god damn
I love the idea of completely shitting on grift bosses, but I mostly played solo so the lack of aoe would probably make me kill myself (Since with a group of some nerds to clear trash for me and then I go rekt the boss for them) would be the best synergy I'd imagine, but >pubs and I play randomly and in bursts so that's why I solo.
Guess I'll look how sader and barb play, and can just make a DH later if I want to see how it is. Never played much sader, but barb is fun so I can imagine I might just go that. Also the set by itself is decent but some off pieces truly make it shine (it's not THE highest build for barb looking at the sheet by whoever, but it's the 2nd best build for sure)
No idea what all they did to sader since I last played. Friend played it some with me last season, and he eventually had to hammerdin.
>see barb struggling to dps rift boss
>come in with my impale set and 2 shot it with back to back crits
>increased Impale damage by 40,000%
>forty thousand percent
this shit is insane. I like three shot rift guardians.
>be vlad the >implier
>find a legendary crossbow
>enemies you hit become Marked for Death
This is gonna be awesome. I was using the 2 extra sentires power 'cause I didn't have anything else, but god damn.
tfw totally worth the preorder for Legion
I decided that this was going to be the season I finally played Monk.
I really ought to have done some research.
You might not have chosen well, but you did not fuck up.
Seriously fuck this rift boss. I died twice at that last fucking bit of HP and failed this shit by a whopping 20 seconds. My stupid quake effects cover up his ground shit and I can't see if im in them or not until my health just fuckin plummets.
I've gotten him 3 times in a row as well as that stupid fucking underground sand level. The only other dumb bitch I hate fighting is Hamlin. I just ran outta keys also, fuck this shit.
>Find Stone of Jordan
S M A R T
L O O T
>whining about well itemized loot that just happens to drop for a class you're not playing right now
smart loot for an idiot
cry about it while i get more shield drops as DH
so i just found this, apparently the other sword is even more rare
>Key warden drop is still not 100%
Why is this allowed
>these new bounties that have 6 shrines in them
>decide to play softcore for once to play with non-HC friends
>all the fucking time
>people standing in shit and getting 1 shot
>"WTF that damage"
wow, softcore really IS full of shitters
I never really bought into the hype or thought HC had better players, but holy shit was I wrong.
>6:22 tier 18
gotta go faster
Shit rift, champions were spread too far apart
I got Thunderfury though, if I wasn't using the Marked for Death power from Kanai's I'd swap it for TF.
There's two schools of thought.
Normals about HC:
>lol u just stack def and play on safest setting how is dat fun???
HC about normals:
>lol u just stack dmg n go full retard how is dat fun???
It's all about how people like to play the game.
it bugs my autism that mount arreat is basically mount ararat yet barbarians mostly have standard nordic-fantasy names
I don't like falling back on nordic names for fantasy games, but I also want to respect the lore. god why am I such a faggot
I think SC is better overall for a casual game like D3 but I think everyone should have to play one character on HC to level 70 so they know how to fucking play. Some people just throw their corpse at enemies until they progress and have no idea what monsters do actual damage.
what are my DH niggas using with the S5 set?
I'm using this: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#WZTdkS!UeRS!ZbabZc
The sentries do a nice bit of damage so I can throw them while I vault around and impale champions.
I haven't played since like RoS release though.
I mainly play normal, but when it comes to seasonal, I wanted to play HC so I could play with my friends.
Running outta keys when you're pushing is Aids. I can do a damn 67 if my density is good and I get a solid pylon. But I'd really love if a damn boulderbreaker would fuckin drop. Seriously.
Here's a thought. I got that item that increases Tempest Rush damage by 400% to "enemies you hit with a blind".
Unfortunately "Balance" is way too balanced, so I can't have that Sultan's Sword with a huge blind %, and my helm slot is taken so I can't use the blind helmet either. There is Cord of the Sherema or whatever it's called, would that work? I don't have it yet.
It creates a field that blinds, but I'm not sure if that counts as "blinded by you" to grant the extra dmg.
How is that build btw, fun/easy/good at mob/boss? Or rather, are bosses or mobs the problem. I enjoyed the brainless WW barb, but lacking boss dmg was not terribly fun. Was great shit for farming bounties or just rifts casually tho.
The build is fun but Raekor's/IK charge overshadows it in ancient gear. Some people botch the rotation tho so once you got your muscle memory down its ok, you DO have to decide sometimes to purposefully fuck it up though if you wanna live. Getting knocked outta your leap will leave you pretty screwed for a good 6-7 seconds.
Is the build any good at single target?
And how exactly does the raekor/ik charge one overshadow it? I never really tried the others when I was on my barb, had awful ancient luck and decided ancient farming wasn't really for me since the few I got or rerolled all had AWFUL rolls.
>Tempest Rush build
>run into enemies at top speed
>blind every 15s
>kamikaze bombers spawn, 10 stacks of sweeping wind
>explode for trillions of damage
>infinite resource, 50% damage reduction from aquilla cuirass
>50% damage reduction from sweeping wind
>25% extra damage and damage reduction while using tempest rush
>tempest rush has 100% crit chance when hitting a single enemy
balance team went full retard
it's basically WW barb with homing crazy ivans instead of memewinds
