So what route are you gonna do?
I'm gonna get a group of 4
Get to 70 (2 pieces of free set)
Kill zolton kulle in T2 in a group (2 pieces more)
Then do a T4 or T6 rift in a group to get the key and unlock Greater rift 20,
Split and do solo GR20 to get the final 2 pieces of the set.
Then get a group and do bounties to get mats so I can start extracting legendary powers for the cube
Also do the Lut socks trick for barbarian, get a fresh barb, lvl it to 8 and spend blood shards on him gambling boots, because at that level the only legendary boots are Lut socks, that I need to cube for my main barb
master boss bounty
halls of autism and cursed chests to 10 on hard
rifts of autism to 23 on hard
skeleton king in campaign at 20+ for the crown
act 1 bounty split to craft xp set
rift it up and craft weapons
Female Demon Hunter
wd is okay if you want to play a lon build, other than that he's pretty similar to s4
wizards and dhs will propably be the dps in groups both are looking fine
barb will be the support in groups and ik/raekor for solo
>Demon Hunter, Wizard
Can't go wrong with these
Is stutter step dead for Hammer Crusader? I was really enjoying that build until stutter stepping with Mr Yan became the only way to play, but the new Hammer Jammers seem way better.
I don't mind because it's at least highly readable, PoE and GD get too dark at times or too muddy, making it hard to follow
Blizzard games may all look like cheap cartoons but at least I can always tell what's going on at a glance
I just woke up

This weekend is going to be the best.
H E A R T H S T O N E S T R E A M E R
b-but i've been here since the ros prepatch
Which mind if thorns?
My end goal is LoN thorns, it's probably going to be worse than set thorns, but more fun running at enemies and killing them by reflecting their attacks with my mighty ballsack
why would a support barb be most in demand when they are easy to gear and everyone will have one?
real answer is we don't know but a crazy good dps for one of the top specs has to be hardest to find and most desirable in general
>tfw still havent figured out what class i'm gonna play
>want to play sader
>want to play melee DH
>want to finally play barb, rolled it too
>want to play monk because they were rubbish when I did play one
>want to play wiz because it's my favourite class
>LoN is finally a way to not be forced into sets
>You need full Ancients to use it
What's the fucking point? Why not make it half as effective for normal legendaries or something? It might as well be a fucking set when you need full ancients.
So the new inna's looks kinda interesting...but what are you even supposed to do? Spam Cyclone Strike for pitiful amounts?
Yes only one char per season, but you get the set when you open the chests that they send to you,so you can save them for another char if you want and then open them with the class that you want
You can go swk/inna or you can go inna with shenlongs and 2piece raiment.
Monk is in a pretty bad state at the moment. The only viable builds are the Season4 Uliana since Az'Turrasq got buffed and any Shenlongs Variant (usually paired with Inna and 2pc Raiment). The Uliana is propably able to do mid 70s while the Shenlongs can do low 80s. Monk is virtually unchanged this patch. SWK got reworked but it still is bad while Inna is in a weird state at the moment. I'm afraid I don't know how monks fair in groups atm. Heal and SC monk both got nerfed. Currently the monks in the 4man leaderboards are pre patch(so Heal+SC).
>tfw wake up with carpal tunnel
This seasons gonna be painful
>tfw fem barb will never leap on your dick and break your pelvis
these are the type of people that get upset when other people have fun, or like movies they don't like.
>don't like seasons
>don't play seasons
pretty simple right? no. they think everyone else should cater specifically to them and play non-season so they have people to play with.
Heading out to do my shopping now. I plan on loading up on bananas, peanuts and carrots as snacks, high nutritional value and low water content so I don't piss every 30 minutes. Gonna also get me some jerky, some kind of legumes (probably beans) and falafels for dat dere protein. Finally, for drinks, I'm gonna stock up on green tea and water (using bottles with huge necks to waste less time drinking) and 2-3 monsters just in case.
>just enough time to clean, work out and eat before season starts
>I need extra stash tabs because in HC you keep backups for everything
could always just play sc, that'd save you from having to hoard duplicates
>game breaking QOL improvements
>people asking for years to improve the cursor to make it more visible
>people instantly start complaining about being able to turn it off
>dh gets free shadow set
>wizards get shitbirds
At least your whole class isn't designed around doing nothing like Crusaders. This is the most retarded thing I've ever seen. Why the fuck couldn't they make a Blessed Shield set?
"Let's make the most powerful set of the season be a passive damage reflection set"
>Thought new season starts in 30 minutes instead of 2h30minutes
O-oh well. Guess more time to not think about which class to roll
But I just want to throw my shield. I've been waiting ever since the nerf shortly after 2.0 for this.
always remember to equip your items before entering the greater rifts
probably play barb
i have big meaty wrists to manage the furious charge boulder toss build
no idea how it'll hold up i haven't played it much in the ptr after they wiped my server saves, mostly played the meme melee dh then stopped after they reduced the Litany Ring set bonus for ancient items
reminder this is the most fun you will never have again
How do seasons usually start. Like, does the game go offline for some time before the season starts, or can you just stay logged in until it does?
Asking for a friend of a friend's little sister.
no, it happens automatically on the hour.
you get an ingame message that says season has started.
you can just sit in the title screen and when you see the notification, you go to character select and create a new character and select the "season" tab
Ok still can't decide so here goes
I'm playing on hardcore I'd rather not be in melee range.
Same as barb, although i might be able to make a ranged sader work
lolno, I'm not an edgelord. I will never play a Demon Hunter.
Never played one. I'm pretty sure its still melee though.
What I'm leaning towards the most. I've never played one and it's ranged.
I played one last season, id rather play something else.
1-4 sader, 5-8 witch doctor, 9-0 monk
>not stacking xp sets and crowns
>swapping between difficulties
>that one guy who gets an upgrade and leaves you behind by going to a different game at a higher difficulty instead of carrying your bros until one of those gets an upgrade and starts carrying
>all those retards with idiotic leveling builds
i don't know the exact times of groups but the difference is hours
Suspect these people that are going HC are from PoE.
Not memeing lads, D3 servers are pretty bad.
Played HC D3 all the way until S4, only ever died due to server related issues.
Few months back when the battle.net servers were getting ddos'd and d3, wow, sc2 and hs kept going down, like half of the HC community died - Forums were awash with babbies crying.
Genuinely not worth it, especially if you don't have at least 3 other people to play with.
Mate you're going to quit 2-4 weeks in, you won't even end up in the top 500 by season end.
Hardcore "competition" doesn't exist in Diablo 3, literally everyone who plays to compete plays sc season.
HC D3 is just scrubs who want easy ranking due to no competition.
>start putting caldassan's on gear
>not even halfway done and shitting on previous farm grift record
Helps with not having to get immaculate rolls on everything to start doing well, but everyone with great gear is just going to be doing better now anyway, so what's the point?
Now you are making me remember chatting with my classmates on msn while listening to linkin park on winamp.
the xp in greaters is reduced and by going higher it may balance out
more drops = more fun
when you can slam 3k worth of mainstat on the paragon value after 800 has much less of an impact
some item slots may be best without having mainstat as one of the rolls since you can slap some on later and when you get more stat the % ones become more valuable
You are literally at the best moment, everyone starts from scratch at seasons.
Can you guys help me? The last time I had a blast playing this was in S3 with my Tal'Rasha Wizard, It was so fun to track the rotation of all my skills and having a good positioning to not get rektd. Which class/build should I try this season if I wanna have fun (for GR groups and SOLO)? Is Wizard viable? which build is simillar to this gameplay and dps?
>forgot to take a nap
>now tired as hell for season start
I've kind of read about how seasons work. Everyone makes a brand new character, rushes the story and grinds to get the best ??? by the the of the season to get rewards based off of leaderboard status. Should I try and do this or take my time with the story?
You do adventure mode,no campaign in seasons at least the majority of players do it.
You can do the campaign with a seasonal character, and it will be better for him anyway since this is his first character, he's got nothing to lose by making it a seasonal character
also im having a blast with rolands sader right now. still unsure about what im gonna play this sseason though. was gonna be DH but playing sader im digging just charging face first into stuff again...so i guess barb or crusader
Reminder to never party with <Reddit>

Thx for saving those, but I got more my friend
THIRTY (30) MINUTES
Going to be living off dates, weetbix and chocolate raisins for the next 2-3 days then go in work monday and sleep
> seasons last 3 months and everyone quits after the first few weeks
So just like Diablo 2. That's the point of the Seasons, these first two weeks are amazing, it's worth it.
Pic kinda related.
Would be nice if this was the last season
Then they announced Diblo 4
Let's start this season off with some bojangles and sick gains lads
Get in the mood
I haven't played since way WAY the fuck back before Crusaders were even released, when Spin-to-Win Barbarian and Frost Orb Wizard were the best builds.
Is it worth playing again or is it still mindless stack-everything-on-one-skill and run through the game until you get bored?
NOFUN right now
Hopefully all these problems will be sorted out by the time NA can play.
>EUcucks getting buttblasted
nice job beta testing for burgers, faggots
>get in game after 10 minutes in character screen

I might just not be understanding how this season journey works.
Do you get the full set all at once after you've completed everything and it'll be guaranteed to be a normal level 70 set?
I had to buy the ps4 version since I sold my PC when I moved. I was soloing grift 55 on my WD and had so much shit, then I got in a match with a hacked nigger and my paragon skyrocketed. Many depressions were had, so in short I deleted everything and I'm starting over from scratch. Have a level 23 or so Barb I'm leveling now if anyone would like to play and farm later on.
I wish they could have just reset my paragon. 500+ legit paragon levels down the drain was so upsetting to lose.
nope, except you use a dagger. you can even use a quiver along with it. shadows set is amazing for group grifting because of the insane single target impale damage, but solo it lacks that punch. http://www.d3planner.com/937283871 is the big impale build for right now. as for consistency in both solo and group play, going cluster arrow marauder (with UE for T10 speedrifts) is the best bet.
Is there any point to ever doing the story mode a second time when you could be doing bounties and rifts instead to level?
Honest question. Is there something you can only get in story mode? I guess maybe a bunch of achievements but they hardly matter.
Ah that's right, I never considered that.
Anything similiar or am I better off just getting to leoric then switching to adventure mode for the bounty rewards and blood shards?
no. its still better to do rifts to 70.
a good way of doing things would be
>kill zulton kulle/magda for boss chests (easy rares)
>do HoA to level 10 or 12
>then spam rifts
>if you get bored, go find the cube
fun? I dunno. viable? yes. thorns crusaders are going into grift 90+ easily. but its JUST thorns builds that can do that. sweep attack/hammers are grift 80 like every other class.
'speed' only really matters in T10 farming. you need to survive and dish out damage which thorns has in droves.
actually no. you can sacrifice legendaries to it to get some nice leg powers before 70.
Well you have to do some bounties for the crafting materials, the act specific ones. Might aswell get it out of the way while leveling, cause bounties can be fun.
Unless there's some other way to get them that I'm not aware of?
leapquake is pretty strong with the new 2h weapon for them. http://www.d3planner.com/223963996 can get solo grift 80+
oh yea, I forgot. disregard that. I still get the cube pre-70 though simply because I get bored of doing rift running constantly and I might as well get it over with.
Crusader/Barb/Wiz are gonna be the most popular (in that order)
WD is probably the weakest overall but still cleared like 82 solo. Monk is good but the problem is the best Monk builds are probably the ones you used last Season (except for SC, which is dead). DH is DH.
the worst classes would probably be witch doctor followed by monk
barb is really strong with raek/support, crusader invoker is braindead, DMO with wizard is just insane, and DH has viability in all 3 sets for 80+ grifting
what about it? invokers lets you clear grift 50 or so with all yellows/random legendaries
So I mainly played at release, took a break, then played on expansion release, then a break again. Basically never played a season of D3. How changed is it? Do the core mechanics still suck? Are all the characters still the same per class? Is there any builds to do or is it just stack primary + defense and call it a day?
I am sort of interested but not much
its tough. the 4 bigs have their ups and downs. DMO wizard with twister is fucking insane and can go grift 92+ in groups. (http://www.diablofans.com/builds/69867-2-4-gr92-delsere-energy-twister) However, barb is pretty fucking good with chargebarb (http://www.d3planner.com/987309363), and a support globe barbarian (http://www.d3planner.com/987913135) is basically needed for said high grifts. invoker crusader (http://www.d3planner.com/126987493) can tank fucking everything and dish it back out in droves.
then again, tons of fresh builds pop up a few weeks after the season comes out anyway, and im no theorycrafter. barb is probably your best bet, simply because they have support, charge, and leapquake. or DH if you don't mind being squishy as shit, because marauder cluster arrow is amazing for grifting solo or groups, shadows is perfect for killing elites/rg's in group grifts, and UE is extremely fast T10 farming, like 2 minutes for each rift fast.
