How do I fucking kill Xe-Doms?
They completely destroy my shit.
They only attack you if you're riding your skell.
If you can't kill them, just avoid them by hoofing it.
If you're trying to farm them for drops, but aren't quite strong enough, then hook your AI team members up with skell weapons that stagger.
Make sure that you take card of binding.
>some xe-doms have reflect
I killed enough Xe-doms to get the Annihilator achievement and still killed more after that, and I haven't had any of them reflect on me. (Except Go-rha because he's a cunt)
Couple things I need help with
1) How the fuck do I properly use this afterburner skill? It says boosts damage when in ranged combos, sometimes I hit for 500ish damage each and other times I hit for 2500 each shot. I can't figure it out pls help (level 7 astral crusader, level 26 overall)
2) Just hit level 7 Astral Crusader, starting to get a little bored of sniping everything. I'm level 6 blast fencer so I might just master that and galactic knight afterwards but hows samurai gunner/bastion warrior?
>Hmm, a M-Missile with Custom.WP-MSP-MAG IV
>says it increases magazine size by 4
>upgrade it to IX with the 5 upgrades I'm allowed
>test it on something outside NLA
true to its description, I seem to be shooting 17 missiles now instead of 8
What exactly are the "ammo" supposed to be? I know that "hits" is how many times its supposed to hit the opponent, but Drones say it hits 4 times and I swear that thing hits like 40.
4 is the number of drones you have
I've actually been staggered once when only one drone had fired, so that single drone hit the enemy around 6 times or whatever
the only other different one that comes to mind is the night cage, which has 2 ammo which represents the weapon on each shoulder, but the Hits: 6 is correct, since each ammo hits 3 times, meanwhile the drones' "Hits: 4" is incorrect
Depends on the weapon, in the case of DRONE it'll fire off 4 "ammo" and they'll do full damage.
Quite sure it's why they nerfed the Discbomb, put on Ammo+ and you'll get ludicrous TP gain and damage
Some people use M-Missile with magazine capacity to quickly break Yggralith parts for tickets. It targets all appendages at once. Just equip a few Crush.Append augments and some ultrafauna slayers.
In this video all the appendages are broken after two shots of M-Missile:
What's the best way to gain affinity? I've just been spamming Water Torture over and over.
Why you fags never defend this game when peices of shit shit on it and its combat? It's 10/10 tier combat for shitty JRPG standards.
Fuck. Not even mentioning the world that completely blows F4 and even Witcher 3 out of the water in every single way.
Daily reminder to increase colors and contrast of your TV before playing the game. Monolith kinda fucked up and the game most definitely doesn't even look as intended on your TV. See official bullshots.
Telethia and pharsis keep wrecking my shit up with those one shot move that I don't even remember what the attribute was.
What attribute resist should I stack to tank those asspull moves?
I know for the rule of thumb telethia's main attack is ether and pharsis is gravity but I'm pretty sure I saw some other icon attribute while fighting them.
>inb4 JUST ONE SHOT THEM WITH MEME SLAYER BUILD XD
>The cost of creating an excavator skell
seriously? is this a joke? this is way too easy.
>GA M-Misslefrom Galdrs
Whoops, not only should that say Seidrs, but I better put a space in there too.
Also, anyone have any suggestions for the doc in general? I think it's understandable for the most part but I certainly don't want any clarity issues.
And if you found something that I didn't, it would be nice if you spoke up about that too.
Spike damage in this game is so bullshit because you basically never know it's happening until it instantly kills you and there's too few ways to deal with it.
There could really be a lot more transparency whenever a spike or a reflect happens.
Yeah, probably. Just nab 2 Antispike augments for ground.
Something like Xair, the Cerulean Walker; now that has some crazy BS. You better kill it in 1 hit or you, your skells, and everyone you've ever known will be dead in nearly an instant.
Where are some easy enemies to kill leveled around 33? I need to level up some classes and can only find either 22's, 26's, or 38's that one shot me
I'm only level 28 so Skells aren't an option
Nah, that's been there since almost the first revision
The stuff I added today is the ME M-Missile and ME L-Missile from green Pugiliths
It's crazy those alluded me for so long.
There had been an intergalactic ME M-missile in my inventory for a while from somewhere, but I didn't write down what dropped it at the time.
It took until today when I was randomly doing squad tasks to kill mechanoids that I figured it out.
Make a 60 Mastema and a 60 Amdusias
Put the Amdusias armor onto the Mastema
Make a Zenith Cannon and put it on the Mastema
Equip stuff in your other gear slots that has SpecUp Range Attack, Boost Range Attack, or AttributeUp.PHYS.
Preferably stuff that has two or all three of those
Although I don't think any of those can be found on Spare Weapons, so get Spare Weapons with 2 of the same position damage augs instead.
Then make some Physical damage frame augs and some Custom Weapon Attack augs for the Cannon
Is there a list somewhere for all the decisions you have to make for people to survive? Things like not letting the girl into the shower or killing the baby suids, what about the rest like these?
Shits crazy enough with high potential sending out more and more drones before the last drones have even finished but I wonder how many sets of drones a single Skell could have attacking at the same time...
It's not all inclusive.
Someone needs to add "Find the kitty cat's bracelet before talking to her"
So shit it was good again. Every single time.
And how can someone not want to brutally rape and maybe marry Lin?
>the long thing above the volcano in cauldros
>the aircraft thing west of cualdros
>Atreides and the other thing with it
Already beat all these, what's left? Please tell me there's something left
We need a tighter thumbnail for No fun. Just testing here.
In Xenoblade, there were three kinds of spike damage (including toppled and close ranged spike).
In XCX, is spike damage universal and regardless of range? Do topple and long range attacks still disable spike damage for some enemies?
There are several types of spike. Ranged counter spike, proxy spike, and melee counter spike. Spikes also are typed damage, meaning you can set yourself to take no damage from them.
Elma is demanding that you be her only lover, else she'll shoot you. Choose wisely.
>tfw can't fast travel during that time because weather may change
Do you have 4 people in ur party?
>Affinity requirements not met.
>Must mean he has too many people in his party
Ha that explains it I feel like a fucking retard thanks guys.
>launching drones which activates cockpit mode which leads into more drones which activates cockpit mode again
>Not a single helpful hint to explain the magic of mira
Well, what now?
I feel so empty.
Magnificent game tho. Had a blast exploring every possible inch of mira on foot before obtaining skell.
Alright, I just figured something out, not sure of its been said before, so whatever.
In normal quests (a.k.a. ones that are given by people) some make you choose a dialogue option before receiving the quest, resulting in affinity. Now what you can do is just answer the option netting he affinity you want, decline the quest, and repeat. I had nagi to 1 to 5 hearts in about half an hour.
>Kill all superbosses
>Finish all basic missions.
I guess I will try this for now.
>Get all holofigs.
Meaning I have to stack treasure sensor XX to all my party member? Fuck no.
Are there any physical damage skell weapons for spare weapons or sidearms?
>Meaning I have to stack treasure sensor XX to all my party member? Fuck no.
It's actually the opposite. The more treasure sensor you have, the less chance of getting a holofig.
Going solo with no treasure sensor gear pretty much guarantees a holofig drop from a tyrant.
There's no specific definition, it's just a group of very strong bosses.
It refers to Telethia, Pharsis, Gradivus and Nardacyon. You could also include Vortice and Leva'el there.
>there are people in this very thread that used lv50 skells for chapter 12
>There are people who didn't fight the whole thing on foot
Not sure if it had been said before, I thought about trying this too but never bothered.
Later in the game you get access to support missions that let you grind affinity pretty quickly too, not that you will ever need to grind affinity anyways if you do all normal quests.
Yeah, I haven't beaten the game because I'm a Faggot who grinds alot because I don't use skells for main stories. That was fun for
zu pharg.mainly made it for those who haven't beat itm
>Give alexa my second ares 90
>Go to fight gradivus-chan
>She refuses to use the fuckoff laser
>Everyone else blows up and dies
>She and her skell survive while I do the other 85 million damage on foot
Alexa is the best skell pilot.
Vortice? It mainly uses electric attacks and sometimes fire, so stack those resist augs.
is the zenith cannon the best super weapon to make for the Lailah?
Just got my ares90, and farmed ygg to make my Lailah, just curious as to where to go with it next
>Tfw still have no augments or ground gear
I need to kill xe-doms level 51-60 for the level 50 drones? Because I definitely kill them yet. I just got my first level 50 skell.
Yeah, should probably keep that equipped from now on.
At least he dropped what I came looking for.
Wasn't there some buttons to press to copy-paste skell colours or something? I remember reading something like this and since I'm taking a few hours to customize my skells it might be useful.
The armour clip makes me so mad it's unreal.
Don't mind me, just taking down lugalbanda alone in my undies.
Don't respond, it's been like that since day one. Probably not the same shitposter every time, no one can be such an autist.
>your TV is shit
>use Doll not Skell
etc., do not respond.
and then there is this guy, who is just a giant faggot and tries to defend everyone. If you cannot afford a HDTV you are probably a nigger, deal with it faggot. It's not like I'm picking on humans
It's actually really fun do do, you should try it.
is this good or nah?
Just looted it while looking for electric sniper/jav build
Annoying to get, but it's done.
For people also collecting figs, it seems that Luxaar's Xern doesn't drop the Xern fig, only Leva'el.
Only have like 10 figs left to finish the collection.
Characters float in this game too. Its a problem due to this
>Inverse kinematics is important to game programming and 3D animation, where it is used to connect game characters physically to the world, such as feet landing firmly on top of terrain.
do... do you want me to stick my dick in there? I don't get it
That faggot's only purpose in life is to jack off to people's buttmad replies, stop responding to him.
>Want to get all holofigs
>Doing great so far
>A good chunk of each continent is finished
>Make a good build for each super boss
>Find out one of them is tied to a tyrant from a Squad mission that's not a nemesis but from a squad task
Why the hell would they do that? It doesn't even sound hard at all, just a weak Yggralith, fucking assholes.
>tfw can only get 17 mil naked against gradivus
Golden blatta hiding outside lugalbanda's cave. Aggro him so you can build your cd while heading into fight the chimera.
well, you fucked up.
>I = interlace, every other frame updates every other time
>P = progressive, every frame updates every time
on a tv that only supports interlace, during fast motion scenes such as explosions or camera panning around you will notice the picture will tear. Progressive does not suffer from this artifact.
Then you are a pleb and deserve to have the absolute worst. I now understand why faggots like you enjoy Xenoblade. You are brainless consumers that just will eat up anything regardless of how bad it is.
Fuck you sir and have a bad day
Doing it with only 3k tp is exciting.
Why do people like Celica? She looks like shit, talks like shit, and acts like shit
nice to see alexa's fanbase is still awful, nothing but shitposts and waifu wars from them
Well damn, holy shit.
Is this a keeper or should I keep aiming for something better?
I haven't done the math, but I think that beam damage is super inconsequential on anything that already has mastema armor and all those beam bonuses, and that ranged specup or ranged boost is better
Does the Telethia Plume have its own Holofig? I already killed it 150 times in two fights and its parts are worth shit in tickets compared to Yggs, so just wondering now so I'm not feeling like this is just a waste of time now.
Guys I'm about 45 hours in and worried I might be losing interest. I just finished chapter 6 and got my Skell, but it's not the exploration which is the problem but the combat. I'm about rank 9 on Bastion Trooper, I had the thought to master it so I could use it on other classes but I'm getting mighty bored of the fight system.
Are any of the other classes more exciting to play as? I tried the one with the psy-corrupters and lightsaber and it might just be the lack of arts but if anything that's even worse. The 2nd-level enforcer is a bit more interesting but the raygun fires so slowly.
I don't know if I should drop the game for a while and see if I feel the need to go back to it.
>Nagi's Blossom Dance affinity quest
When can he use that in game
>find that rare item
the only thing I hate in this game
Nah. The style of world that Witcher is doesn't really interest me. Part of the draw of XCX was the cool sci-fi mecha anime world, plus the novelty of the huge open world. I got all I really wanted of that old world fantasy out of Dragon's Dogma.
It's just that now in X I find myself more often than not trying to avoid fights. Running away from enemies so I don't have to enter combat.
I wish it felt better to shoot and stab things in the game.

I need to make 3 Arts: TP and 3 Arts: GP XX augments and just thinking about it makes me want to die.
I've been able to keep overdrive up with just 1 arts gain and 1 overdrive extend XX as long as I begin with 3000
someone with lots of TP to start with every time they enter a battle could probably get away with just 1
>have gain tp as a trait on my lightsaber and dual guns
>add an extra aug on the guns
>free 500 tp per art
>standard starfall combo gets me halfway to overdrive
I took down 13 health bars from Yggralith Zero.
Is that good? Should I use the rest of my BLADE medals doing that and breaking every part of him before the time on his appearance is up? Or should I use them on Telethia Plume?
this is one of the few times the character animations look good. skell animations looks great in just about all the cutscenes, but this and kitty kat rush are the only ones that come to mind.
xenosaga had the same thing happen. its like they had their only decent animators only work on a few key scenes and left the rest to interns or something
I hate this fucking cat and his retarded talent of hiding in large ass areas filled with fucking lava
I thought that for the last story mission, after you choose all the food that lin cooks, that there would be an option to eat tatsu.
lin would proceed to stab tatsu and remove his scalpular area and then cook his brain, everyone would feast on tatsu silently
You know what would be great?
A postgame mission to help L build another machine that lets you pay money to reroll battle traits on your gear.
There's also a tyrant Coronid that only appears with crimson aurora.
Scintimures start flying through Sylvalum while in Spores. Some level 82 Ictus also appear. There's a tyrant Scintimure that appears only during Spores very high up in the sky.
It's just a list of filtered objects. Apparently someone managing it put a part of Youtube's design on it. s.ytimg specifically. Just find that on the list and disable it or disable the list for the time being until they remove it from the filter list.
Of course the earlier game is going to have less involved combat. You will need to change characters if you want more variety.
Enemies will face whoever has aggro, so it's not difficult to position.
You will want to knock down at least 20 health bars on Yggs maybe more for the 18 - 20 scales, but that is random. With Plume taking down 80 health bars nets you 50 of his mats, but killing him more like up to 160 times or more can possibly net you 96 mats.
After that its just destroying their parts and quitting the qest for easy ticket farming.
His fifth was interesting if you tell him about a recent Tatsu story which then he talks about how him eating the very fruit that Prone seem to be attracted to is what got him caught, yet its because of that we meet him and he says it must be fate that MC and Lyn met him.
Damn, didin't know this got a general after Western release. Anyone want to team up for some Japanese version? Friend me and get in a squad together and all that. Haven't played for few months, don't know if
Telethia is up, is this still a spoiler for Western?
I passed by some dudes that put a Heart-to-Heart with Murderess on my map in the Residential area, says I need 1 Affinity to do it (which I have) and be in the afternoon but it only appears as a check mark on my map and I can't find anything in that hexagon. Do I have to unlock something?
I was going to get the Western version until the few days before its release when censorship was confirmed. My plan was to just to get to max level and do the end-game grin all in a couple of days to be one of the first ones grinding the world boss or at least at end-game, easily possible with the knowledge I had at the time. But the censorship and lack of time really put me off. Can anyone fill me in on exactly what was changed? AFAIK they remove the boob slider and added undegrament to Rin's boob area. Is there anything more?
It's pretty easy to do. I find that it serves more as a casual check because you actually have to be prepared for it. After you get your first skell in story mode, everything becomes pretty much trivial. The last story battle kind of shatters that but you can still get by. But for the world boss, if you want to do well, you'll have to grind attack up gems and get siknasty limit break combos. Really when I did my first
Telethiaand I multiple times, so much so that more deaths (4?) would result in mission failure, I realised that I was doing it wrong for the end-game and went to get the affinity skills for longsword and farm the attack up gems.
-- apologies for wrong terminology, haven't played English release and haven't played the JP one for months
Also apologies if incoherent, drunk. Please ask for clarification if needed.
>But for the world boss, if you want to do well, you'll have to grind attack up gems and get siknasty limit break combos.
wrong, the only thing you need for plume is Arts: gain TP to maintain TP and negate reflect for whatever element you use, or just decent ether resist skell. Never bothered doing ygg on foot, shouldn't be that hard too
then slap them on whatever, durvin is piss easy, will just take longer. Or go kill wensel the honkbird northeast of 306 on a mountain
>5k reward tickets
>no idea what I should be working towards
My character without his Ares is kind of shitty but I feel so overwhelmed by the massive amounts of mats that some of these augments take. Hell, I still have 1500 BP on my MC that I haven't used, and even more on some of my party members.
Yea man I feel you, instead of working on my mc, I just built a Lailah and gave it a Zenith-Cannon with some augments. I just kind decide on what kind of sniper build I want with what melee weapon
Classes affect it, not the actual equipped weapon.
For example, if you want to get Photon Sabers, you should reclass to Blast Fencer/Galactic Knight, and get a team of that same class. Since only 2 more characters fit that role (Doug and Yelv), you scout a third one from the scout console.
>tfw can't remake by 0 slider fl@ waifu
shit release desu
>wrong, the only thing you need for plume is Arts: gain TP to maintain TP and negate reflect for whatever element you use, or just decent ether resist skell. Never bothered doing ygg on foot, shouldn't be that hard too
I really don't remember the details but on foot I could do like 300-400 health bars on longsword without even the endgame maxed gear and gems. I can hardly see a skell competing with that. Literally every single JP did the same (i.e. fight on foot). Some used something other than longsword but all used on-foot. I'm not saying you can't use a skell, just that it's really inferior. IIRC Ares90 does like what, 1.5mil per the strongest attack which costs 40-80% (I don't remember). A 3-5 longsword attacks do that and if you limit break (I REALLY don' remember what the name for this was, the middle skill, blue) you can use blue skills to greatly speed up the cooldown and just rape the world boss. I should note that no-one packed reflect gems because a) you weren't in skell so you weren't doing aether damage (or whatever it's called now) and b) you were doing such disgusting damage that the health recovery from green skills was far more than enough.
Also just pressing one thing over and over for the whole fight on a doll would get a lot more boring than chaning and maintaning limit breaks.
Not sure which part exactly you're replying to but yeah, all it takes to bring it back is squad missions. At least around the time I played on JP, this took 3-5 days usually but that was few months after release.
Oh. Living through and hitting the max reward (30 bars was it?) is easy. When I say end-game I mean doing as many bars as you can hit with your gear and skill. If we''re just going for the life bars to get the rewards then sure, gem in the reflect resist, cast the max damage skill a few times and do fuck all for the rest of it but where's the fun?
Just beat chapter 9 and find that ground-only battles are getting pretty rough. What is a good skill/art setup for main character? So far I only have Duelist and Galactic Knight to level 10. Not sure what to level next and how to build my guy.
What are the essential Skills for an Overdrive build? I'm assuming Inner Search and TP Overdrive are needed but I'm probably wrong.
Using a longsword and dual guns if that makes any difference.
>tfw you're a little hard of hearing and can't tell what your favorite characters say after battles unless it's very clearly or loudly acted, like the DEPENDS IF TATSU CAN MAKE IT OR NOT
So, we can work together to find whatever the new exploit is, since both curators and mediators are bizarrely high all of a sudden
There must be a point bonus that those two divisions share
Aura Assault is better because its an independent multiplier. The description for it is wrong as it raises melee damage not melee attack stat. It multiplies total damage by 1.3x.
And the next scene reminds me who's the boss.
Maybe monolith just fixed the numbers since prospectors kept winning
You can check the Current Totals and see them with 2.5 times the points of second place, and it's always been this way
I just can't get enough. Godspeed, damagefloor.
>"We should add a character to promote a new title!"
>inbetween Smash's release and now we've seen games like Xenoblade X, Splatoon, Codename Steam
And they went with another fucking Fire Emblem character.
I just unlocked blade lvl 10 and I can't find the bunny suit poster. Was that removed?
That's not because they failed to do good animations the other times, it's simply because that's how their budget was distributed. There are only a few "cinematic" cutscenes, same with Witcher 3, for example.
That's a lot more than none, see Bethesda RPGs.
It damn well better not have been, I'm gunning for that thing.
>there are plebs that play online and go on online forums before they even explored most of the world and finished the story
>they already did quests with this boss that saved your ass in the story before they coincidentally found it in this creepy location realiziting it's a 99 monster knowing if it sees you, it will wreck your skell within two seconds
Feel sorry for you, this moment was defining.
There really is nothing watching your skells break just about every appendage on a weak indigen right before it dies since they all targeted on a different one and then seeing each one fly away as blue xeno blood splatters and the indigen makes its death cry. Makes me realize how far I've come and that's where the true beauty lies in this game.
All yours, friend.
Nigga, you blind.
That cutscene sure made it look like it is.
It is implied that telethia was a person, right? Just like in XBC. Why else would it save us?
Not saying it's a fact but it sure was implied.
>Tfw you will never star in a buddy cop action flick with Ackwar busting a nopon drug ring
So you haven't played the game. It's a telethia. Telethias were people in the original. It helps you for no reason whatsoever. Elma and the others are wondering why. All we get is a big question mark.
Humans died out due to the Noppon eating all the food. Overfarming left Oblivia a barren wasteland.
High Entia decided to inbreed to preserve the High Entia race, but Accidentally Telethia
The growth algorithm never stopped, and the Machina all eventually mutated into near-comatose machines that had a single urge - ruin the fuck out of any dumbass who comes close.
The Noppon managed to survive due to breeding like Rabbits, but most of their history and all of the tech was lost. The Noppon only remember a few scarce fragments of their history, things like Frontier Village or the Monado that saved the world.
That doesn't imply anything. Telethias were hostile against people in XC, in case you didn't remember.
For all we know this could just be Takahashi pulling a final fantasy and having chocobos in each game.
Yeah, but there's so much evidence of an old advanced civilization on Mira, the references to the Muhnado, the Gem Forge, the statues of the two big guys, the god damn bible that recounts Shulk and Alvis's re-genesis...
There has to be a link.
If Melia came back in the sequel but much more voluptuous and slight longer hair and with the look of a space queen and gave the player the option to groom her feathers, if you know what I mean,
>tfw when you'll never fly out to a secluded area with Alexa and fuck her in the cockpit of a Skell.
>not customizing both of your skells so you can dock your EM Zenith Cannon into her cockpit that was moved between her Skell's legs.
I think space entia would use an improved version of psycho launchers and heck maybe even that concept on their melee weapons where they're not even holding onto them to swing them. It's all in the head.
So is Longsword + Dual Guns a good setup for main character? I really like Psycho Launchers conceptually but they seem to kind of...suck.
