You can format emunand. You can also have more emunands if you want to, and have one linked, and stuff like that. Do whatever you like better. I constantly use both sysnand and emunand and I've recently started to mess around with another emunand, which I might format for no actual reason.

How the hell do I dump my eShop content? An anon here was asking for a download for Swapnote and I've tried two things to get the thing working. It just doesn't work.

I tried dumping it from emuNAND with Braindump, taking the .cxi and decrypting the romfs, exefs and exheaders, then running it through Decrypt9 to get the xorpads I needed and running it through the CIA converter.

First time I didn't know how to get Xorpads so it crashed upon loading. Second time I don't even get the game icon on the top screen. Only the bottom.

1) Put the SD card in your PC
2) Open Nintendo 3DS > "emuNAND folder" > random_numbers_folder (emuNAND folder should be the newest, and probably largest)
3) Open the dbs folder (if it isn't therre, create it)
4) Create blank files named "import.db" and "title.db"
5) Now put the SD card into your 3DS and enter your emuNAND
6) Go to System Settings > Data Management > Nintendo 3DS > Software
7) It will tell you the files are corrupt and it rebuild them for you

That's actually creating the emunand. It's a different thing. The way GW called it makes it a little confusing.

Yeah, your emunand starts off as a copy of your sysnand, including files and all, that's why you have to format one to separate them, you'll always be in emunand, so people usually format their sysnand

Does entering the theme settings remove the menuhax?

I've already got my sys and emu nands unlinked but it seems like when I try to change the theme to a different color (from the built-in ones, not a custom one) then menuhax breaks and I have to re-install to launch rxtools

I've been playing Bravery Default and I am enjoying it more than I expected. I played the demo and liked it but not to this extent. (so far) the story and pace is really good. Okay I think I fugged up. I was following the retards guide until I was having problems with emuNAND9 and then used Gateway 3.4.2 instead and that got the job done. I followed this video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2FLBMrfGDY) that another anon shared and have been working through the process for a few hours and now I'm to the point where I have FBI on my emuNAND installed, and I updated the emuNAND. However when opening up FBI and trying to install Bigbluemenu or Devmenu it's giving me this error.

I think emunand9 is fucking up. It didn't dump my sysNand to nand.bin so I used gateway to backup my nand.bin instead. Now I went to the next step in the retards guide to run emunand9 to complete the emunand setup and let it run. It had a progress bar and said it completed but everything is still on my sdcard. It said it was going to format it, what gives? Also its reading my free space completely wrong, I don't have 16 Exabytes of space on my sdcard, I have 16 GB. I guess they don't mean MB?

I can confirm I downloaded the proper .CIAs. It froze when it was supposed to reboot. I waited about 15 minutes, and gave up and shut it off. When turning it back on, it stayed at a black screen. Removing the SD allowed me to get back to the 3DS menu, and going into system settings shows v9.1.0. I can't get into menuhax, so I have to delete it from the SD and install it again via HBL, which I used browserhax for.
