Anything 9.3-10.3. It's just a matter of finding the firmware files and using the modified SysUpdater to install them. If you are on 9.9-10.2 you will need cubic ninja otherwise you can use the web browser to access homebrew. There's a more comprehensive guide in the OP.

Posted this in the last thread but no response:

My sysupdater isn't doing the 8 line check. Fuck did i do wrong?

I downloaded 9.2.0-20U(FULL).zip
I put it in a folder called "updates," (not update as the guide didn't spell it that way) and sysUpdater still isn't doing the 8 number check.

I'm tried both menuhax and browserhax. sysUpdater absolutely refuses to do the 8 part check. I've read the guide like my life depended on it and i still don't know what's wrong.


I've tried multiple times to redownload the files to see if anything would change, but unfortunately i'm still stuck in the same situation.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

They're in your EmuNAND. I feel like the guide should probably explain that the goal is to move everything to EmuNAND and keep SysNAND mostly empty other than as a way to launch EmuNAND.

Some people like the concept of "I'll keep legit and not-legit separate" but it really doesn't work, doing things to SysNAND is unsafe and you can't download game updates or newer games etc without fuckery.

So I haven't touched my Homebrewed Wii in maybe two years.
Wondering what improvements have been made.
Never managed to get a GameCube emulator / ISO launcher working and am looking to get a media player but don't know what to get. I'm looking a the Homebrew wiki and it says GeeXboX can run any video format and all I have to do is put it on the SD card and launch it with Homebrew channel.
Other than that, I don't know what to do for getting Wii and GameCube games to work, that's where I get lost.
Getting NES, SNES and GBA emulators was a piece of cake after getting Homebrew on it so I've never done anything more complicated than that. I think I tried using Dios Mios for GameCube games once but didn't get it to work.

rxMode lets you run them, otherwise you need to install a modified AGB_FIRM. I'm not sure if it works with Pasta, that thing is outdated and probably doesn't to what you want it to do. If you want a simple CFW in sysnand use Minipasta.

Yes, it's safe. Keep in mind that if you're doing it this way and your NANDs are already unlinked, you'll have to remake your emuNAND for it to move over. So if you are unlinked you should probably re-link before you install FBI.

This happened to me after doing a downgrade (also upgraded to bigger SD), I had to do a system format through the system settings, then ran the downgrade with no issues.

It's still possible, yes.
The only thing you have to worry about is never opening e-shop normally or opening the home menu theme thing due to it disabling menuhax loader.

Normally, you'd be able to fix that in 20 seconds by just going back to the website through the browser, but they might deactivate the browser, or force you to get to 10.4 for the browser, which could fuck everything up.

Although, there are people saying that 10.4 won't do anything, so...I don't know what to think.

I've followed the guides in the OP (thanks btw) and hacked my DS. Everything is working fine until I tried to play my imported game (MHX).
I have version 9.2 on sysNAND and 10.3 on emuNAND.
I checked again with my older imported game and it worked (MH3G).

I also tested my 2DS with a CIA version of MHX and it worked.
That's why I tried to copy my savedata from catridge into my sd card.
