>All I know about the yuuzhan vong is a little bit about them from wookiepedia. was that part of the EU any good
The only pertinent bits it did was clearing out a vast amount of the Jedi and political cast of characters, kill off the third Solo kid and Chewbacca, and set the stage for the other two Solo kids to go darkside, although only one of them became Kylo Ren
It was nowhere near as good as the Jedi Prince series
Now that it has been shown on a Beagle stream, what is your opinion on the fact that soldiers panicking can throw grenades?
>>First for remove ayy and ayy accessories.
Fixed that for you.
You can thank R.A. Salvatore for that one. He was adamant about killing one of the main cast. Lucas finally caved and said he could kill the family dog. I'm still pissed to this day.
I hope its possible to easily mod in new research/tactic school things to purchase. Being able to start with say 4 troopers and slowly research yourself to 8-12 would be pretty neat.
I'd bet that the plots and parcels are keyed to each of the environment types we've been shown, so you have city center plots and parcels, slum plots and parcels, wilderness plots and parcels, etc. By default, you couldn't get a wilderness parcel in a city center map, but I doubt there'd be much stopping you from copying a wilderness parcel and reclassifying it as a city center parcel. It wouldn't look nice, but it'd be doable.
>wanted to watch a more "professional" XCOM 2 preview as i'm having a Baglememe overload
>Friend says to check out ChristopherOdd
>Start up his Avenger Gameplay video cause some footage i've not seen yet
>Instantly greeted by some nasally weeny nerd voice
>soldiers themed after Witcher characters
>tries to be funny, isn't.
>tries to explain perks and skills, gives like a retard version of what it does "eheee shoots all guys in front of you!"
>absolutely dogshit at strategy, just does whatever without any regard for tactics or intelligence
>triggers reaper without any prior damage done to a target
>lets a Stun Lancer get free reign in amongst his troops for whatever reason
>leaves soldiers in range of Zombies
nahh fuck this guy. I feel like he's the kind of sperg that savescums and edits the ini so he has over 1000 will.
For christmas my brother got the XCOM board game, and we played it and it was really fun, so I got the XCOM franchise pack, and started playing today. I'm 3 hours in and it's so much fun. One of my original squaddies, Sgt. McIntyre get wrecked and I quit playing for a bit because I couldn't handle losing any more of my bros. I have these 3 guys that are super geared out that I use as my squad, and then I normally just have another random rookie as cannon fodder for the weird stealth tentacle robots. This game is so fun holy shit.
>takes below 40% shots with dudes in the open
>leaves his highest level ranger to die after popping a pod with slash ON HIS LAST TURN
>SAID RANGER HAD SIDE STEP TO REKT AN OVERWATCH WHICH THE GREN TOOK INSTEAD AND BAILED ON THE MISSION
Not him, but a few episodes ago he sent his ranger out away from the squad by a fair margin into unexplored territory to use his melee attack.
After he popped like three pods and got grabbed by a snek, he retreated.
In the latest episode he seemed to have completely forgotten about the fact that enemies can use full cover as he tried (very badly) to kill a viper.
He had also taken shots with literally everyone on this viper in the same turn. Apparently a 35% accuracy with his sniper didn't ring any warning bells about seeing whether or not the viper was in cover or not.
Also in general, NL alternates between two tactics
>turtling so fucking hard and never ever taking yellow moves ever, even when there are no enemies on the map and wasting entire turns standing still and reloading
>doing all of that and then making a yellow move with a unit towards uncleared territory as the last move of the turn
Other things include not using a medkit carried by the currently selected sniper right next to the dying unit, all the while constantly lamenting not having a medikit.
Some of that was from his Enemy Within series but yeah, you get the picture.
He also seems to really struggle with understanding flanking shots and line of sight.
The funniest thing about it is that he still has sudden lapses of extreme retardation in isaac, too (especially shocking considering he's put so many fucking hours into the game that he should know most every mechanic and item inside out)
Like trying to get a bomb to access coins and giving up despite the fact that all of them are accessible via shootable red-poop.
He also seems to have developed some strange eyesight problems because he hasn't acknowledged or picked up a fuck tonne of trinkets in BoI recently.
Binding of Isaac, anon. He's put in fuck knows how many hours into Rebirth and the original game.
>playing enemy within for the first time
>xcom base defense mission
>my asshole when
He's never said he was good at Siege once in his life. Ya, the guy's bad at video games, but he's real charming and he's easy to listen to. What's with you guys and bullying anyone who isn't Beagle.
>now we're on the tactical game something I am much more experienced in and can talk more comfortably
>proceeds to move a soldier in a flankable spot because enemy doesn't have LOS on it
>It is another thing entirely to not learn from your mistakes or even recognize that you've made them.
The guy knows full well he's bad. He even says it multiple times and goes to say he tries to learn from Beaglerush. This kinda uninformed bashing can hurt someone's youtube career. Why ya doin it?
>This kinda uninformed bashing can hurt someone's youtube career.
Oh no, someone on 4chan's badmouthing the poor "youtube content creators" who happen to be utter shit at their """"""""""job"""""""""". Someone take pity on them.
Had an idea that I wanted to run by you guys before I forget
Since I think naming and modeling soldiers after favorite video game characters is kinda old, I thought it would be neat to still keep that sentiment going but do it with weapons instead, like if you like halo, customize an assault rifle to be green and orange and name it 'the chief'
Also when you write your own soldier bios, I thought it would be cool to come up with some epic conflict based on current events and all or most of your soldiers would be veterans from that conflict, and to sort of eek and tease out details of that war through their bios. Idk like it's completely uncovered that the US is funding ISIS so China and Russia spearhead some kind of political movement or military assault to remove western influence from the Middle East, would be a neat way to give a lot of your potential soldiers good bios, from all sorts of countries; from turkey to Israel to the UK, and even a fictional country like the United Arab Republic/People's Republic of Arabia or some shit who would be allied/bankrolled by the Chinese or Russians
I'm not normally a very creative person at all, but I came up with that and wanted to share it with you guys
>some anon on 4chan is going to ruin his career
Say what you will of his voice, but he isn't as horrible a player as you make him out to be. He definitely isn't at Beagle's level, but he usually knows what he's doing.
(Also, he's a much better speaker when he's got a script, like with the class overview videos.)
People forget about beagles earlier videos and streams where he used to make really dumb mistakes and youd be screaming at him. Noone is immune to mistakes in XCOM and I'm not sure why anyone would compare to beagle when he has so many hours under his belt now.
Fun fact, he has as he claimed in one of his videos "over 200 hours in X-com". Despite that he still can't grasp basic concepts of the game.
That's not even casual tier, that's being flat out dense like hell.
>tfw kinda want to do some youtubing because it seems like it'd be fun
>not as good as beagle, not even close
>not as funny as beagle
>literally only draw would be
being a grilbut not like I'd be face camming XCom 2
Cruel but possibly true. I'm not even sure what she plays
I could probably be vaguely entertaining I guess, but not standout funny
...okay this is tempting as all fuck right now
what is your level of play
I only ever play on impossible or classic, I only ever play Long Dong.
I do alright, I've yet to ever complete a campaign, and my memorial wall looks like the credits list of a modern summer blockbuster.
im not great, but I try
I actually think it would be more hilarious if she tied a shitty Repp style tie (that's the style with the wide diagonal alternating colors) around her face and rolled with it with no comment.
Classic Ironman / Brutal LW. Could probably run vanilla I/I (don't have enough experience in LW) would just have to have a lucky start
and not be such a fucking alcoholic when I'm playing. Probably better than these shitter streamers you're watching, but ironman mode makes fools of us all.
I literally just moved house today. Maybe I will stream before XCOM 2 comes out if you guys are bored enough to watch.
I hope beagle and jamball don't read this, but honestly the biggest thing that annoys me about her is her voice. I cannot fucking stand the female accent/dialect that ends a sentence on a high note like they're asking a question.
Keep playing Xenoblade X.
Sort of, but at the same time we're inundated with American accents all day err day in popular culture so I guess a lot of the more 'generic' ones lose their charm?
I'm really not sure.
Would exalt stream even work with a British accent, hadn't even thought about that
The ones I've been exposed to.
The worst one was whatever southerner accent it was Hartmann had in Full Metal Jacket, it was too unintelligible to understand without subtitiles.
So my voice is going to be unremarkable
SIGHT GAGS IT IS THEN
I feel like it would, but I'm the amerifag so I don't know. That is how the evil Empire was cast in the english version of Star Wars, so I assume so, but I don't know how it was dubbed in other countries.
Whatever I find is more rewarding to me personally. I have zero desire to ever make an income from streaming; I have a full time job that more than pays the bills.
I'd just want to tube. I doubt I'd ever get anywhere near enough of a following to want to stream. Plus my up speed isn't that great, so it'd be infeasible.
Shit good point. Maybe it would work after all
Straight up am trying to find a bandana for it now. If nothin else I could cosplay egg salt at the next convention here
I wonder how hard it would be to hide something that plays MP3s, and everytime you press it it makes one of the EXALT radio chatter sounds.
>not buying a bit of cloth and making it yourself
pls, are you going to tell me you not only know how to sew, but to make a 3d model of your bandanna?
please. try, before you criticize.

You're talking at length about this so I figure you guys have an interest in playing on YT/Stream but haven't got confidence/experience enough to feel comfortable with it.
If you'd like help with this, add CentralOfficer on Skype. Assuming you're keen enough to try but don't know where to start, I have a lot of experience both technically and practically and I'm certain I can help you get used to the idea. YT/Twitch isn't hard to do but it can be frightening and intimidating to start, particularly if you actually want to do anything with it more than a hobby which is it's own kettle of fish. Either way, the core is exactly the same, though.
Same goes for anyone else in here looking for help. I know there's always one or two guys who are talking about how they wish they could start streaming/YTing but don't know how/aren't funny enough/blah blah, etc. Add me on the same account and I'll give you all the help I can, time willing.
I could probably come up with some shit but a) I'm about to step out for a little bit and b) I feel like it's really important who you are to properly advise how you should go about it. It's hard to do cold turkey blanket advice apart from Be Funny, Respect your Audience, Respect their Time, and realise anything you're not currently good at including the above is something you can learn to be good at.
Quite simply, remove the ideas of "I'm starting so small!" or "I'll never be as big as <x>!" or "No-one will even want to watch me!" because they're all useless and instead look for your strengths. Why might people watch you? In many ways, it's the things we find entertaining about ourselves that are keys to what others will find entertaining about us.
Healthy self-respect and honesty is important to have an honest view of how you should go about things.
Does anyone know how things like incendiary grenades or dragon's breath ammo work? Do you only get one when you roll them in the equipment slot machine?
Because I want to have a team of six grenadiers with four incendiary grenades, a flamethrower and dragon's breath ammo each.
What if one of those things is not being good at
For me if I was going to do anything youtube related I would leave myself at the door and inject all my personality and humor into my editing. I might still do it and it's been hanging on my mind for a while but I'm pretty terrible at staying dedicated to something.
You can't vary the explosion radius anymore, I don't know but something about this really bugs me. Also, the explosion isn't a circle anymore, but angular
But that was really fun, now grenades are just wort a short look instead if something that could safe your ass in impossible situations, because you can get some nice trick shot off.
Also, how does it even work on flying aliens if they aren't located on the ground? In EU/EW you could throw the grenade on the edge of a roof and it would have hit the flying drone next to it.
Sure, it's unrealistic to have a bunch of air jordans in your squad but that doesn't change the fun and strategical variation it brought.
He means grenade placement has been simplified.
In XCOM you could choose the exact point your grenade would land, allowing you to choose exactly what you damaged (or fuck up your throw on a piece of terrain).
In XCOM 2 grenades land in the center of a tile, so they're slightly more reliable but considerably less useful if you used to take your time with them.
Gremlin will be seen by everyone, even when healing your buddies.

While I disagree with the other person for basically calling rape over a meme I wouldn't say /vg/ is like any other board. Sure fucked up people such as furries and snekfuckers are in here and the amount of racists is way to high, but in the end it is a pretty neat halfway live discussion about a game eveyone loves.
In /vg/ I used to visit

>World of tanks general
>Path of exile general
>Grand strategy games general
On this fucking website

Has anyone ever played XCOM: Interceptor? I'm just generally curious, never played it myself because Wing Commander was my god at the time. Now of course the game is a redheaded stepchild, but i've heard that if you can look past the XCOM faceslap it's actually a pretty neat sort of game. Any truth to that?
Your mistrust is wise. Anyone and anything could be a faceless. ANYONE.
Even other Faceless
"We're providing a tool for Steam that anyone who buys the game will be able to get," McFall said at Firaxicon. "It works kind of like the mod tools for Civilization." The nuts and bolts: XCOM 2 players will not only have access to a Visual Studio isolated shell app for building mod projects, they will also have access to the Unreal editor Firaxis used to build the game as well as the script source code and roughly 50 GB of game assets.
A response to a fan question even confirmed that the possibility for a modder-created co-op mode is there, with tools “robust” enough to make it happen as long as players provide their own matchmaking server.
For 2 reasons I never used reddit
I used to browse the beginner general on /ic/ and it was pretty great, but I stoped drawing for 16 months and tried to get back into it. My first idea was to browse /ic/'s beginner threads again.
I don't know what happened, but everything was a horrible mess of insults and meme spouting, it was like /pol/ and /b/ got an even more retarded kid that tried to browse /s4s/ but endet up in /ic/.
But I really needed help with my drawings so I tried to migrate to reddit's draw or art subboard or whatever it is called.
You have no idea how bad this place is. The tipping in there is unbearable.
As far as I can tell, the only true badposters that visit /xcg/ is that one guy who spams BREAK LOS and that paranoid Gamergater who has some bizarre, deep-seated grudge against Valkyria Chronicles.
Yeah there's ADVENTposter and snekposters, but that's just banter.
Has a dev actually confirmed this? I thought Faceless always know they're a faceless, they're just excellent actors.
>yfw faceless are actually modified thin men to be even better infiltrators.
>that paranoid Gamergater who has some bizarre, deep-seated grudge against Valkyria Chronicles.
Wasn't it because he hated one of the game's artists or something retarded like that?
Nah I just like the idea that they could be sleeper agents and your regular joe has human DNA entangled with deactivated faceless DNA meaning he has no clue until it happens. They have deep seeded instinctual changes causing them to not fear ayys.
My opinion is that the first mod I download for XCOM 2 will be one that makes soldiers always hunker when they panic. Long War did it right. I hope that there's something in the .ini files I can change to make that happen so I don't have to wait.
Panicking is completely out of my control and having my soldiers go full retard and run into shit cover, or shoot or grenade their teammates isn't fair, fun, or in any way a good gameplay mechanic. Losing a soldier should always be my fault. The game shouldn't be able to take people from me even if I did nothing wrong.
I've never seen him in /xcg/ since I'm here on and off but I do that the day I witnessed that guy shitposting I was blown away by the autism. He was samefagging posts after post of shit for I don't know how long, it was impressive in its own right, and he was doing it simultaneously on /a/ and /v/ too.
/pol/? Sounds more like /h/. NTR general is always a touchy thing.
>/pol/ is behind everything
It's funny in a kind of fucked up way when you can kind of tell the artist of some Japanese game draws lewd stuff, because it just has that certain look.
Like Monster Rancher 4. I don't know about any manga/hentai artists at all, but my gut reaction to seeing the characters for the first time was like
"There is no way the lead artist on this game doesn't draw hentai."
When XCOM 2 finally comes out, are you guys gonna hit new game and jump right in, or do any other shit first?
First thing I'm going to do before I even start the game is dig around in all the .ini files just to see what all can be tweaked. Second, I'll probably spend like an hour or two just making characters for the pool.
Afaik it's not technically ntr with the way it is presented. With the pov used I think it's technically closer to netori (which is different from netorare) but since in any case there's no buildup or fallout which is the defining characteristic of both it's basically just a pass at it and doesn't qualify as either.
That's mostly based from panda threads so don't take my word for it though.
Yeah, I mean come on guys, it's the current year. Sometimes women just want to humiliate their partners while having sex with other men! If you're not ok with that, then you're just a bigot!
I don't think i'll be tweaking anything, but making characters into the pool and generally just checking out all of the possible customizations is going to take a few good hours.
Why do i keep getting such shitty rookies...
>Couple of polacks, a bunch of darkies, a frog and a fucking aussie shitposter
I don't think the council of nations thinks very highly of you
Uh so why do Vipers have feminine features such as hands, breasts, hips, legs, overall body figure, distinct curves etc? Not that I'm complaining, but I'm trying to understand the reason behind such a design decision.
Same reason Sectoids became Pectoids I reckon. Human DNA was introduced and this is how it manifests in female thinmints.
However I don't see what the purpose is. Pectoids boast increased psionics, but thinmints were as capable as vipers are now from what we have seen (surely the tongue grab and the hug of death isn't something acquired from humans).
Well they have a reptilian skeletal structure, so essentially they could take on any form.
as said >>128536081
it's unsettling and attention catching. People are constantly talking about them, aren't they? I mean, when you got the cadre of aliens that you do, an essentially "just" a big snake wouldn't be much of an eyebrow raiser. But the sneklady? Jesus Christ what is that thing
I think it's a deliberate change to their unseen base form in the same vein as the new floaters, to deliberately invoke fetish appeal and make them look less threatening so they don't freak people the fuck out while the ayys are pretending to be benevolent.
If you're trying to get the human populace to accent your angry snake soldiers, do you want them to look like the large snake creatures that people are already likely to be scared of on this planet....
...or are you gonna make them look like hentai?
Maybe they were altered to survive on earth? It seems like everything related to advent or the aliens in 2 is somehow intermingled with human DNA.
Then again, they're aliens. Maybe they have a freaky second throat that their you climbs into where there is a poach and breast nipple for them. It turns out they have breasts but they point in rather than out like a snake kangaroo. We don't know.
Well obviously. Promise a "leading" position, money and a cushy life, and you got a lot of people drinking the kool-aid.
>"The difference between treason and patriotism is only a matter of dates."
I'll imagine a bunch of people - hell, probably a vast majority - would sell out in that way for a bit more comfort under a totalitarian regime. And with the power the aliens have in X2, what with the gene therapy and all that shit, the carrots for being an informant/consultant etc would be huge.
I've always wondered what living under a world government would be like, though I get the feeling we're all going to find out during our lifetime. There's no way we're going to survive to the space age without global legislation against all the dumb shit we're doing right now.
Reminder that if ADVENT ruled the planet, people like David Bowie would still be alive.
Do the right thing and turn in any XCOM terrorists.
>Sequel to the Hit Strategy Game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, XCOM 2, have mentioned in a Q&A panel that the game will have extensive Mod support. Most notably of the functions present is the ability to provide Co-Op gameplay if players are "able to provide their own servers".
>According to lead designer, Jake Solomon, XCOM 2 will have real Mod Support unlike the last incarnation and players will have access to the same tools that the developers had while making the game. This includes an editor and around 50gb of game assets to play with
>50gb of ass and pussy
For this campaign I'm enabling permanent motion trackers, so I can be ultra-aggressive and skip most of the congalining. Saves so much time, but I'll probably have to buff ayy research progression to even things out.
>hunkered down behind full cover
>thin mint still hits me
oh well at least he didn't di-
>next thin mint shoots at my other soldier
>misses but destroys the wall
>third thin mint shoots and crits him

Do you maybe have something to tell us, americlaps?
>Bradford: "What is he saying, Doctor?"
>Dr. Vahlen: "He's saying "help me"."
damn right son. it's every human's right to marry a hot european, fuck an asian schoolgirl and kill aliens and hostile animals in equal measure.
anyway she's probably nearing 60 by the time of XCOM2
Whoops forgot pic...
What should her last perk be?
>not putting helmets on your MECs
Becoming a mec trooper literally cost you both your arms and both your legs.
You get bitchin' robot parts when you're not in your giant robot. But the interchangable nature of your body plugs can lead to the above display.
So I'm in the midst of vanilla Enemy Within, wondering if there's something that cues base defense so I can make sure my troops have their best equipment instead of me trading stuff off to help train up the lower ranks.
And Vahlen is worried about the misuse of science, yet is chomping at the bit to modify your soldiers with all the best ayy lmao genes.
Shen and Vahlen were clearly picked for XCOM for a reason, and that reason is that mad science and anime are humanities greatest tools in combating the ayy menace.
I'm starting to think my qt carbine rookie is a faceless, her squadmates don't really seem to trust her
The funny thing is that the guy who defends the artist has the same NTR castration cuck fetish, he usually shitpost by trying to defend his game and last time he got owned in the argument he just repeated questions like an autistic shaking robot.
He also got mad that raita got booted off VR due to people didnt have the same NTR and castration and cuck fetish as him. SJW and feminists like him that are paranoid and his conspiracy about pro gamergate was funny, but it whent full autism and people got tired of him.
Another funny part is that he tries to rationalise that the NTR was ok and only netori, but it wasnt. the castration in a doujin is disgusting but he enjoys it.
Another funny part is that he thought a article written 1 month after the another with copy paste like proportions somehow was a reliable source, especially after the whole gamergate corrupt journalism. He got kinda quiet later on when he couldnt find any reliable source or facts to counter that it wasnt like the other corrupt shills.
tl:TR camera is from some other jrpgs and he just quoted a fabricated quote.
I seen him on /a/ and /v/, people think his paranoid rants are hilarious. His a tumblr feminist SJW who think men and women are created equal, that a men can be beaten by women with the same amount of training.
>meaning anything to someone with meld
By the time vahlen appears she'll have spliced mimetic skin with some faceless samples for shapeshifting. You'll get a civilian acting weird until surprise vahlen turns on the psi.
You dont need to cut off your arms or legs, really just modify them a bit.
NO NO NO NO! WE GOTTA CUT EM OFF! TO THE SAW!
Can someone do a layered filter from this and the new game? the engine looks alot the same.
No anon! louis ck is right! go hate white hetero men like everyone else!
>Waiting for XCOM 2
>Thinking about playing XCOM
>Don't really want to play a game with a canon bad end, especially when the sequel is coming out so soon
Anything else worth a shot?
What class should I go with polakbro?
What should I name him?
Though LW gets tons of shit for being difficult I feel like vanilla enforces its meta more strictly. On the strategical layer, you just satrush satrush satrush. Nothing else will do. When you can't build a sat, build whatever will let you build more sats quicker.
As to the tactical layer, there's not much to say. Most skills are perfectly viable, save for snap shot. Never pick snap shot.
Mimetic skin is blatantly broken, so start churning out invisible troopers as soon as you can. Halfcover is basically for decoration, unless you hunker in which case it's just as safe as fullcover ( Read; not at fucking all). If you're stuck in a bad engagement, Get the fuck out of dodge and force the ayys to come to your fortified position. This took me ages to take to heart. That's all the general advice I can think of. If you're looking for a look at vanilla soldierbuilding https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=135567870 is good though it could well be a bit outdated.
>never played an XCOM game before

>One drops nearby my Support, another literally right next to Heavy
>support shoots fuck #1 in the face with a laser rifle
>Intimidate Panics support
>he just gets pissed and slaughters the xenos
>heavy just immediately perforates the other one
Never before have I gone from terrified to laughing my ass off
Considering they could have secretly just transfered people subtly into different places and worked them to death and post through media what "crimes" they commit, then they could have killed people enmass and people wouldnt have rebelled as easely. this in no way is 1984
In 1984 like real life, they specificly make fake "revolutionary" groups to find people who potentially would rise up against the system and thus remove the threat before they could become a problem.
>encounter Floaters for the first time
>3 XCOM on overwatch, two of them have both Floaters in sight
>assault guy misses
>shoot with sniper during my turn, she misses
>shoot with assault, he misses
>get in range with support, he misses
>floater goes into air and takes out my sniper
>another one flies next to my assault and support and kills the latter
>i barely am able to catch that Floater alive with my remaining assault
Should I just reload at this point? I'm playing on Classic, vanilla EU.
Oops I replied to someone, anyways DID IT!
Think I messed up my Jaegar.
I'll take lock n load for the last perk?
Ello again anons - the guy who started his OpenXcom series a week ago is here with episode 5 of him failing to play Final Mod Pack.
Be merciful anons, I had only 3 survivors.
>still not attack dogs in XCOM 2
Pretty sure if there was an alien threat we would try out every possible option to succeed.
>attach explosive to dog
>train dog to attack ayys
>trigger explosive when dog is close
Give me one reason you wouldn't do this other than not being a sociopath. It'd be easy and cost effective as fuck.
I'm going too anon, the moment it's released.
At the moment I'm thinking of having 4 running series.
Homeworld : Deserts of Kharak
Galaktik Brikwars (which is a heavily modded playthrough of Galactic Civilizations 3 set in the Brikwars Community Universe)
So there will be plenty more of me swearing and fucking up and being a slightly aspie twat.
That's because they trained the dogs to go under tanks using their own tanks, and were shocked when the dogs decided to do as they'd been trained and go under their tanks.
Teaching them to attack ayys would be a lot easier.
As I recall, they had the explosives strapped on their backs, with the detonator trigger protruding vertically above them, and were trained to run under the German tanks, at which point the detonator would trigger and blow up the tank from it's relatively unarmored bottom. But yes, as >>128550114 points out, the Russians didn't have German Panzers to train the dogs with, and used their own tanks instead. You can imagine how that ended up for them.
Attack dog units would be a great addition for XCOM 2, and heck for all we know, they might be part of the future DLCs packs. In-universe however, it's important to note that animals are largely exterminated by ADVENT on sight, and are often only spotted in the containment zones, where nobody really lives or travels in. Without having a healthy stock of dogs to begin with, it's unlikely that XCOM could just recruit and train attack dogs. At least, not without a convenient plot-excuse.
Problem is, that Gremlin fulfill the role of a possible dog, only better.
It even have an anti-tank (robotic) attack.
I think i will subcribe you for watching Xcom 2, could be interesting.
You know that sexualising snek is only a meme to troll people ?
>Homeworld : Deserts of Kharak
>No info: The game.
The most show much more before hype.
If you don't pair Kurt with Imca you're an utter pleb.
Literally any animal is sexy when given the right human proportions. Have you see the abundance of mantis/moth girl art?
I believe that by lopping off the limbs, the MEC limbs can act like prosthetics and have far more precision and finesse than analogue or digital controls in a power armor suit would.
To be fair to Anon, Vipers are more than just literally snakes with tits
A bit more than that m8
>an entire human torso
There is...tits...that's it you freak
I saw your screenie and went and did lone wolf with the tutorial heavy on classic. The ayys missed me like 7 times
im a casual that finds classic hard
Did you use mimetic skin?
WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY OF COPULATING WITH REPTILIANS? VILE DEGENERATES! KILL ALL NON-HUMANS!
Xcucks btfo by superior ADVENT waifus.
We can tame them. Turn them into our wives, our sex slaves, our entertainment.
>Implying you can pull a Kirk
Also, I remember being on /tg/ when this thread went down, it was GLORIOUS
It sucks that you don't have to pick up and carry Xeno corpses to the Evac point like you do with your dead squaddies.
It would be hilarious having to get two men to carry a snek between them, and three or four struggling to drag back a Berserker.
>not the other way around
But much longer, taller and slender than a human woman.
People don't like the Viper, because it's looks like a snake, they like it, because of the human female features. The exotic mic of snake and human parts and foremost that it have female aesthetics made her so interesting.
People only add (human) personality to her, and well, it's accetable for them. Nobody want to fuck a real snake, but many people want to see and have more interesting humanid womans.
Well, yeah, but she's about as wide at a human, too.
