Just jump attack the ogres face with fire boon until it staggers and falls, then indomitable lash it's head while its down.

After the first fall you can get it into a loop where everytime it gets up, you can knock it down again.

I remember doing most of the side quests, as they came along, about 80% of them at least. I agree, it fucks the games difficulty up. Half of the game becomes really easy. The last place had moderate difficulty thought, as well as the boss fight. After the main story was finished, bb brought a challenge though. The tip about doing only the quests that someone straight-up gives you personally, is a good advice.

How does changing vocations work? I just started and mage seems super underwhelming. I'm wondering if Sorcerer is better or if I should switch to Strider or Guts. I'm only level 14 but if I understand right that will give pointless mage stats to my overall build if I do decide to Guts?

Depends on the game honestly, walking dead kept their saves in my documents, Darksiders kept their saves in my games within documents. So, we can't say for sure until it's released, but I doubt steam goes through to trouble of forcing the save anywhere else IF the game is all ready creating saves in a specific location.

Since this is a reviewers copy, there's a small chance save files will be moved into a capcom folder located in my documents, which contains the saves. Just gotta wait and see what the steam version does.

you can focus on either as MA, since it can use both daggers and the bow. more of your damage is going to be magic. i think my first character was something like mage 1-10, sorc 10-40, MK 40-50, MA 50+. made it through all content and ng+ without a problem.

just play the class you want to play. if you are having trouble with anything, there are methods to cheese things and make them easier.

Looking back at it, with the BBI weapons a hybrid build wouldn't even lose all that much damage. I can't not minmax a character again after having done it twice though offline Ur here I come. What's my best best for a jack-of-all-trades 200 build, something like this?
