>Tips for new players
You can change vocations at level 10 at the Gran Soren inn or BBI.
Character appearance can be changed later on.
You don't need pawns, but they help.

Am I running the risk of hitting a roadblock starting the game on hard bros? I'm level 30 also and so far the game is mildly challenging.
ATTENTION JAP VOICE MODDERS
THE VOICE SHIT IS ON THIS DISC. DISC 2, 360 VERSION.
So we have many >what's the best class posts and we come to the conclusion there is not really such a thing as best class.
HOWEVER, when you consider hardmode, what is the best class? It must be someone ranged to keep out of one-shot range.
Personally, I had success with magick archer and mage (tfw too low vocation level for sorceror skills).
Anyone know a good place to download fonts from? I need Times Now Semi Light for the buttons and I can't find it.
you are aware that changing to hard mode mid playthrough resets everything excluding the arisen?
also hard mode is artificial difficulty at its best. I did 2 complete normal runs and BBI before switching to hard mode on xbox.
>can't do shit to the troll in the catacombs in gran soren
>end up shooting it off the ledge with super charged arrows
How do you actually kill that thing?
CONDENSED INFO FOR NEWFAGS
increased height leads to;
>longer weapon swing distance
>faster walking speed
increased weight leads to;
>more stam consumed while climbing
>more stam consumed while running
>slower run speed
>slower stam regen
>larger carry capacity
sub50/ 50-69/ 70-89/ 90-109/ 110plus
Hard mode (not recommended) affects the Arisen in the following ways:
>Stamina use via skills is increased to 150%
>Damage taken is increased to 450% (BBI is unaffected)
>Experience earned is increased to 200%
>Gold dropped from enemies is greatly increased
>Enemy stagger and knockdown resistance is increased
I just grabbed onto it and let it take me to the basement express style.
It's doable but you will lack any way to heal back all that grey health, so you will have to stock much more curatives to compensate.
>Mistyped the captcha
>On a picture for sandwhiches
lmao at babies who pirate a game 3 days before its release because they are literal children that have no patience. i'm actually laughing at you. i am laughing at you and your tiny baby penises.
not mine but i think they are cute
So I bitched out bros, switched to Normal. Fuck it, seems like i'm missing how fun the combat/bosses is with playing full bitch mode trying to avoid getting one shotted.
Btw, people playing on hard mode, you CAN switch back to normal without restarting. Just die and then choose "restart on normal", it will warn you that you can't switch to hard mode again or else you will have to redo the whole game but that should be it. So, you don't have to force yourself to play hard bros.
what's that purple thingy on my map that leads to cassardis? why is it there?
People liked this idea on /v/, so here I am. This is my Arisen.
Since the save file probably won't transfer I won't be meddling with DDDA until Friday, then I'll finalize my Greek Statue arisen (if I don't have another idea in the meantime) and post sliders and stuff. If you want to steal the look and post the sliders in my place please do, I might make a different version.
As a side note, what's the best way to skip the "tutorial"? I could sprint through most of it only having to kill the Chimera and the arpies with goblins, is there anything else I could skim?
Blister Butt Igloo beckons, Arisen. Are you a bad enough dude to heed its call?
Q) Does the game support more than one save slot?
A) No. The pawn trading system and interaction with the Rift server was designed around a single save and player profile. While hot-swapping save file outside of the game is technically possible, this will cause synchronization issues with the pawn you have uploaded to the Rift or shared out to friends and other community members.
ehh it's iffy. the saves are storied locally, and you could import DD saves into DA.
and the only online componets are the pawns and URDY. so more than likely you will be able to use your current save.
also lol at those being accomplishments.
I'm curious about the watchfulness augment. Do you normally take more damage while your weapons are sheathed and this just negates that, or can I seriously just use it to reduce incoming damage by half by putting my shit away in the middle of a fight?
I don't get this game familia. I made a strider and its pretty fun but I'm thinking about making a fighter instead, is this a good idea?
My bad, forgot to mention that was the only one I understood right off the bat. Also, thanks for the info, I surely wouldn't look up what do they mean by myself.
>Greek Statue arisen
That's a surprisingly creative idea, even if it's not perfectly statue-like due to the tone difference between hair and skin. But if it's the best the CC has to offer, it's still good.
here is what I did in order to fool around with sliders
>create your arisen (use premade if you don't wanna waste time on this already)
>play through tutorial
>play up until you reach the encampment (literally 2 minutes after tutorial)
>do cutscene there, defeat ogre "boss"
now when you go back into the tent with the pawn stone thing, save your game as you will be able to create your pawn. alt tab out, locate your savefile (depends on your pirate version), make a backup
>now tab back in, create your pawn (same process as creating the arisen, same sliders and all that jazz)
>take note of sliders etc.
>finish creation process
>look at your pawn in the flesh (there is a cutscene right after)
>hear his/her voice while doing the teamwork tutorial etc
Now if you want to have another try at character creation, just restore your save game backup and build another pawn
Once you hit the main city, you can switch class at the inn.
Your class affects the stat you get when leveling up, but there's no need to worry about optimisation on your first playthrough.
>you can mine ore deposits with Warrior attacks
>as well as powerful spells
>and some enemy attacks
The devil is indeed in the details
>tfw fist wizard is ddo only
it would be the perfect class for that guy
>Greek Statue arisen
Nice. If you want you can make the lips paler with make up, otherwise they're pink no matter what skin type you chose. This works for darker skin tones too.
>As a side note, what's the best way to skip the "tutorial"?
You've got the right idea, I can't think of anything else offhand.
>tfw used to pick nothing but normalfag + normalfag
>I was a normalfag and that was the limit to my imagination
>now I am enlightened, my mind is open to the universe, and in turn the universe is open to me
>a whole new world of shota assassins, loli warriors, amazonian and bara muscle wizards
I pity you neophytes.
Been a while since I last played this on console, is armor absolutely necessary or can I make progress on weapons and rings alone? I'm going for a gladiator look and don't want to give up my sandals.
Also what helm should I use?
Pirated the game, played for a bit.
I dont get the hype. Im trying to like it, but the world is terrible.
The quests are really bad, the Boss fights are cool as fuck.
The Game world is hands down the most boring, empty soulless husk ive ever encountered, but the pawn system is pretty cool although it feels more could have be done with that system.
The combat against bosses is really cool, but the classes feel limited and fight against normal enemies can be Tedious.
What concerns me the most is the game world and the quests, its really boring, empty and nothing is going on.
Does that mean that I should aim for a Peter Crouch body type - tall as fuck (~205 cm) and normal weight (~75kg) at best?
DD waifus sure look bad
play the relatively awful story once and done. You could keep grinding the endboss but thats just retarded. its nothing like Dark Souls and a downgrade in every aspect
Honestly I only kind of went with what looked good. I focused on a couple of points, but I didn't commit 100%, so it's possible somebody could do better.
The idea came together as I was making a regular character, I'm not the type who tries to be super creative at this sort of stuff.
Thanks, but I'm not really that dedicated. I'll try to make something that looks nice and then focus on the game, that's why I shared the idea.
>Nice. If you want you can make the lips paler with make up, otherwise they're pink no matter what skin type you chose. This works for darker skin tones too.
I tried already, it didn't look like it accomplished much. Maybe I'll look into it a bit more when the game comes out.
I'd say it's a bit in between those two.
There's definitely a decent replay value, but since you can switch between classes as often as you like, you don't have to do a whole new playthrough to experience a new gameplay style.
You are not locked into a single build like Dark Souls, as you can swap that whenever you want.
You do have Hard Mode and Speedrun mode which you can go through the game on again. Then there's NG+ with a few new things, but otherwise that's about it
It might not be a huge world, but here's a lot to explore, and the DLC is kinda tough too
Man I don't know whether to create an all girls group or an all men group
>ogres get the hots for women and rage more easily
>feminazi bandits kill men on sight
So... I got the PC version and the very first bug I encountered made me ragequit via Alt+F4.
Some retard decided it would be funny to place "confirm" function on Backspace button.
Guess how that works when you try to edit your name?
Feminazis are pushovers and you can always be a sissy to appease them. Ogres are tough early game though, go for full male.
Also what the fuck is going on with captchas right now?
From where I see it, height has no disadvantage. At all. Longer weapon reach and faster walking are nothing major but they still on the plus side. Weight seemed the most optimal at normal for me too, hence why I brought it up. Would Peter Crouch be the best of both world in DD?
>playing an ARPG with a keyboard
i mean, really
All man group anon. It's far more important that you never ever get raped by ogres. Ever.
Not him but I heard from various sources that the K+M controls are unusually great for this game. I remember how the PC version of Dragon's Age II didn't allow controllers and I had to play it with the default method. To my biggest surprise it worked perfectly well. Maybe it's the same here too.
how'd I do?
it makes no difference to sprinting speed but i'm 95% sure it impacts your default jog.
If you're gonna play hard you might as well do it from the start.
Hard Mode might as well be called ez level mode, the only reason you might want to do it is for the Duke's Clothes or if you want to instantly trivialize money.
You can do BBI whenever you want, though going in below 40 or so is basically for challenging yourself. However, people have done the BBI challenge before, where you basically rush to get in it and then never leave. It starts rough but once you can get a BBI-tier weapon it lets up considerably.
had the same problem. for the solution, you have to cycle back and forth between the menus (deleting a character, being forced back a menu, going back to your name, deleting another character, etc.). And then when you get all the characters deleted, the game resets your Actual Name to whatever your Nickname is set to (the lower name in that menu). So what you want to do is pick a Nickname with the first letter of the Actual Name you want to change the name to, so when it fills in the Actual Name, you can prune it down again to the first letter and FINALLY type your shit in.
>it makes no difference to sprinting speed but i'm 95% sure it impacts your default jog.
i pulled all the info from the pastebin
it's been tested by multiple sources
this game is like 4 years old
have fun getting one shot by bats
You can make it so that you can delete more, though I haven't figured out the specifics.
I press X on my controller when the name field is highlighted, then I can delete without the game going back a screen, doesn't work everytime though.
LONG AGO IN ANCIENT TIMES
looks good, guy.
You see that scar on her chest? she's not happy about it
Better get used to it m8.
>mfw these grunts when you're testing female voices in DDO
>mfw my ddo character is the shota version of yours
well shit. Guess I'll still stick with around 90kg because I just don't want to live without that carry weight though. How much slower exactly? can't see anything here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17nkSwHW3NZngiq8IRU9H8_cUa1sRoNT3et4wwvQdDgY/edit#gid=0
>my anecdotal evidence is more relevant than multiple testers
sure thing bud
are you honestly arguing that it's been commonly accepted this ENTIRE time, with no one bothering to check?
Not that anon, but how many playthroughs of the game have you done to warrant this?
I have entered BBI on my two characters when going into NG+ and switching to Harde Mode and nothing even shot-shot me, not to mention one-shotting
Ok mates, I played this game years ago on the triple, was a rogue type and ended up being an assassin (daggers + bow). It was really fun to climb monsters and shit but for the PC release I need something new, something fresh.
I hear about warrior being not viable and only having 3 skills, is that true? What about sword and board? Is it
fun?Can I kill hardmode ogres with either of them?
I guess something I haven't ever really touched in the PS3 version was mages and sorcerors. I did a few magick archery and magick knighting just to see what they have to offer but I didn't really like either of them, Magick archer was too close to my regular bowing (of course it's all fancy and shit) and magick knight was underwhelming to me at least. Can anyone be so kind as to sell me on either of these classes? I'll take any and all input into consideration
>tfw only a few more days left and I have no idea what to play
Alright /ddg/ i've got the next 2 days off work so i'll take requests for webms you guys want me to make and i'll try to get through as much of the list as I can and dump them all here at some point. If there's something in particular you want to see, now's your chance to say so.
I started out on controller. Could not stand how incredibly slow you look around/aim even on max sensitivity. Switched to kb+m and have found it to be way better, just have to change a couple of the silly default binds. I'm running sorc though so haven't climbed much and haven't tried the bow mode yet.
no idea, sorry m8. I just saved it off of 4chins right into my smug folder
I'm in the mood for BBI stuff.
Getting killed by a cursed dragon spawning in and dropping on your head.
Dying to a garm's throw.
Getting trapped in enemy maelstrom for a minute before falling to your death.
One shot by bandit ranger.
>aiming for MK
>get fighter to rank 8 for the sweet 10% strangth
>switch to mage aiming to get it to rank 9
>mfw I barely do any damage and am completely useless in battles
Do I need those mage augments for an MK?
Is it easy to find a party in DDO early on? Thinking about starting off with mage (the only classes i'm interested in are Seeker and Alchemist) since i'll be running Strider in Dark Arisen.
From what I've found on youtube of Sorcerer they look impossible to solo with, their cast times are insane.
Any of you guys want the soundtracks? I can upload them to MF/your host of choices.
Wow, the hair textures and face textures in DDO are really good.
I wonder if they could be imported into DA? But last I heard the people behind the English patch weren't releasing their tools.
>have 50 dollar amazon gc from xmas
>amazon has no digital preorder of this game
>go to greenmangaming, since 25% off

>finally use steam & paypal credit
Well, I feel you. at least my internet is good and i was able to preload in full last night. Waiting is going to be a bitch, but at least the MGO beta is online tonight
>Eliminator on Normal Mode does the headbut baseball swing attack on me
>Eliminator on Hard Mode does the headbut baseball swing attack on me
Good thing BBI isn't affected by Hard Mode
>Even my most hated of games like BioShock, Prototype, Red Dead Redemption and Might and Magic: Dark Messiah
Stopped reading there
>Oneesan (Age 26)
>Young Boy (Age 1*)
it's tough, but not impossible if you have pawns to back you up. sorcerer isn't available at the start anyway, so by the time you unlock it you'll have a decently leveled main pawn (or two) that can carry you further
no idea how active any of the english communities still are though, i haven't played in a couple months. there was a ddg guild and a
subredditso i guess you could check around there
does anyone else grind vocations ranks at the start?
i just fins it really boring being limited to the same basic 2-3 skills for like 1/3 of the game
especially hybrids which require way more discipline and may only be at rank6-7 by the time you finish the main quest
>they won't get attacked by the feminazis
You're telling me my pawn's joke was right about "perhaps put them in women's kilts"?
Now I feel bad about tossing my helpers off the cliff before engaging the leader.
Unfortunately my PC's not quite beefy enough to capture footage at 60 frames. I get 60 normally but once I start recording it drops to around 45~. I might just record a bunch of vocation showcasing stuff anyway just to give newfriends an idea of how each class plays.
That cursed dragon one sounds pretty specific but i'm certain i'll be able to do those other 3 without even trying kek.
I dunno, they just give me trouble for some reason. Same thing with elder ogres once they frenzy. I honestly have an easier time with Eliminators and Living Armours, as backwards as that sounds.
Can't wait till friday so we never need to see these old shots again
>I honestly have an easier time with Eliminators and Living Armours, as backwards as that sounds.
Meh, they're easy as shit too AFAIC.
Elder ogres are difficult sans cheesing. That's about it IMO.
How does it work then aside from gear obviously?
I went through different combination on the build calculator and ended up with 400 attack and 640 magic at 200 which what I was aiming at.
Does it even matter much what vocations you use to level up or is the majority of the stats determined by gear?
Eliminators are weak to freezing solid as well. Magic in general can wombo combo them into oblivion.
>How does it work
You can play Mystic Knights in at three distinctive ways.
fuck. Wiki doesn't have this chest marked as a mimic, but this webm happened. Now it's a mimic everytime. FUCK me
maybe they actually added some kind of savescum protection?
>in at three distinctive ways
in at least* three
What Vocation you level as doesn't matter THAT much. You wouldn't want to level as a Vocation's opposite for 100 levels and then play as that Vocation. But 10,20, 30 levels of whatever isn't going to ruin your game.
Tried to make him look like me, kinda
He's not ugly enough, though
You're thinking of the 40/60 split because great cannon uses 40% of your strength and 60% of your mag, but at level 200 your added mag won't really change much of the damage when you're thinking in the thousand points added with your gear.
>Wiki doesn't have this chest marked as a mimic
Protip: the Wiki can be kind of shit. Some retard went through it and altered a bunch of pages that used to be full/ correct and now they're incomplete and/or just wrong. Armor Lv.2 locations for example was completely fucked that last time I looked at it.
actually MK is probably the only class where stats matter because the shield doesn't give you much magic yet buffs 100% rely on it, sigils and cannons also lean towards magic over str
also MK buffs are stronger than mage buffs assuming the same magic stat (which you won't have because mages get a fuckload of stats from the staff)
fuck me I cant take any more running
Why the fuck does it give you a quest to run half way across the map and then the next quest asks you to go to the same place? It's not like its fast to run either takes half a fucking hour
So is it confirmed possible to transfer the save to the legit version or is all our progress wasted?
I wasn't sure about the stubble at first, but I'm really liking it now.
Just sell it all so you have basically infinite dosh and buy regular gear. You won't have any money problems and you won't have uber gear since you're restricted to shit you can buy normally.
So am I supposed to NOT use the armour in my bank? because that shit is OP as fuck
>30 levels in assassin to get some stamina and attack
It won't hurt you to do that, but I'd just as soon put those 30 in MK itself or Strider.
It's really not though.
Holy fuck I wanted to play a mage->sorcerer for once but spells taking literally half an hour to warm up during which the monsters will invariably go and fuck my ass is absolutely horrible
What am I supposed to do about this? Git gud or are there augments I'd want to make this actually bearable?
I've always wanted to do a run with that fucker but it's just so annoying.
True, but in the grand scheme of things they're all actually pretty shit. Use them or don't, it's not a big deal. If you feel bad about, then don't. I like the vanilla early game armors better, myself.
>What am I supposed to do about this?
>Git gud or are there augments I'd want to make this actually bearable?
>Also, how the fuck are you supposed to defend yourself as a warrior with no block, dodge, double jump or levitate?
By gitting gud.
>defending yourself as a warrior
You're doing it wrong.
Just got the game, is my Strider too fat?
Who needs that bullshit?
>mfw killing my first non-tutorial chimera with my giantic sword
>mfw going full Guts on those female bandits
Seriously, at this point i don't even care if warrior is weaker than the other classes. This shit is satisfiyng as fuck.
I noticed a little bug in the PC version, nothing absolutely game breaking though.
When I set the resolution to 1360x768, a little dead pixel or something shows up at the top left corner of the screen when playing. If I change the resolution to something else or open up a menu, then it disappears but it reappears after closing the menu or reverting back the resolution.
Newbies and aughtists of /ddg/, here.
Bear in mind when looking at these that, (IMO), 100 Def is worth far more than 100 Str, as is 100HP.
Also, if you're planning for the endgame,
figure that you'll be adding ~1500 to your Str or Magic stat, so that extra 100-200 really doesn't mean that much.
It's just part of the warrior experience anon.
I´m on 4chan since 2012. Which means I´m here longer than you. And these two things add nothing to discussion. It´s like putting camera on playground for retarded children and... watch them being retarded
sprint from gran soren to the dragonforged, his pace has a portcrystal
run to the shadow fort and dump the portcrystal
give berne some of his favorite items if he hasn't given you the quest yet
once you accept the quest he is with you, use a ferrystone to immediately warp to the shadow fort
quest completes and you receive the strongest 2hander available in the main game
sorry for bad quality and wolves fighting but I'm bad at webms and not far into the game
>Previously, many players used New Zeland VPN to unlock Fall Out 4 earlier from Euorpe, United States, Britain... It is the same principle to play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen earlier with New Zealand VPN.
You press it once to enter Bow Mode. No need to hold it.
While in Bow Mode you can aim the bow with your right mouse button and shoot with the left. If you use the left click without aiming you'll do a basic dagger attack.
i can't fucking wait.
i don't care if Warrior is under powered, moments like this will be exactly why I'm playing one.
is there a "perfect" way to build a warrior in this game? one that has great DEF/MDEF/HP/ATK? Starting with height/weight I'm guessing 190cm+ and 90kg is perfect for that reach/carry weight.
I'd like to know how some people are able to make webms with such quality that it looks like the game is playing on my screen.
Should I record in 480p instead of 720p ( using shadowplay ) ?
I'm using webm for retards, put 3mb in file size limit and check the high quality box, thats all.
try 720x480 if you're making 30 second webms
but i'm probably just as clueless, only started making them due to bloodborne
Whaaaat the fuck happened? A simple bat killing side quest gave me 50k gold. Now I'm rich...
Did they change something with the PC release? I don't remember having a bunch of set items when you arrive at Gran Soren
Alt-tabbing is a hazzle in this game, it pauses the game when you tab. Normally that's not really a problem, but I like it better when it run even when the windows is not active.
I know on some steam games you can add -nopause in steam launch command to have it run in background, but that doesn't seem to work on shortcut target. Anyone know if it's even possible to get this done without native support?
just beat the game thanks to the power of neetdom, one of the few things i remembered from lurking threads in years past is that the dragon captures whichever npc you talk to most, imagine my surprise when mercedes has special dialogue at the end and shows up in your house. Do all npc's actually have special dialogue? And do they still jump your bones if youre the same sex as them?
Can pawns learn from you even if you're different classes when you're demonstrating? Say I'm a sorc and my nage is a pawn. If I change from sorc to another class and change my pawn to Sorc, will they start applying whatever they've observed me do?
>Everyone climbs on the chimera looking like a bunch of monkeys whacking an elephant during the tutorial.
I'm finding this game fun, but why do Bandit with shields do so much damage? I went to the left road after the first encampment and the shield bandit killed everyone.
You can already use programs like ShiftWindow and Borderless Gaming to force that, but it doesn't magically change the game being programmed to pause when it's in the background.
>Do all npc's actually have special dialogue?
Mercedes, Quina, Selene, Aelinore and Madeleine do. And I think Julien, Valmiro, Reynauld and some other guys did as well.
>And do they still jump your bones if youre the same sex as them?
I did that about a year ago. Fun times. Went for animu-Clare though, since she's ultra-tall and lanky. Doesn't look as funny with tiny little borderline-loli Clare from the manga.
Tried going warrior, but honestly, longswords are more the correct size.
Ok, managed to estabilish BBI armor lv1 farm at low level (level 10 to be exact). Expect Schierke pawn with adept hat at launch.
now to figure out how to get enough RC, other waiting for someone to hire her for long enough
>100 Def is worth far more than 100 Str, as is 100HP
>getting hit in the first place
You're doing it wrong.
That being said, I do agree that defense is undervalued, especially since (as you say) weapons give so much, while armor gives far less. (Around 600 near end-game.)
HP even more so I suppose. Then again, I had no issues with going full-on glass cannon assassin the whole game through. In BBI, you shouldn't facetank anything anyway.
how is the
s t e a mcontroller support?
It's a horrible experience
You can put off that quest for as long as you want. Just don't escort Mercedes to Gran Soren until you do it. I was under the impression that it was super urgent too, but that's the only thing that will cause it to fail.
Most magic spells can be easily avoided.
But there are certain enemies that deal mixed damage like Living armors, their swords deal magic damage AND physical damage so if you go in as a red and expect to tank them because they have swords, youre in for a ride.
>Over 1k Defense
>LA still hits me for 500+ damage with its sword
And thats how i knew they deal magic damage.
In retrospect it really doesnt matter because red armor tends to have little to no magic defense so reds will get fucked by magic even if they have 400 base magic def. Same applies to blue armor.
Escort quests are totally unessential and plot-indepepdent. Their only purpose is to quickly raise affinity with someone you've already started affinity-ing.
>can't decide on a vocation
>already have Mystic Knight, Warrior and Fighter leveled up
anything else that should be added to this image
trying to cutdown on starter questions so this general isn't flooded when the game hits.
Don't make such long webms, that chews up all the file size. Also, more static gameplay is takes less space. (Meaning lots of pixels rapidly changing = more space, less change = less space)
You can "trade" by gifting items to pawns you hire, and plan to get something in return, but it's not really something to do with strangers. (And you can't gift BBI items, but you CAN gift the cursed ones.)
Shadow Keep, Bluemoon Tower, Witch Hut and the mountains (I forget the name exactly, but before the keep where you fight the liches) are all solid places to put portcrystals.
Might also wanna put one near the healing spring near the catacombs for easy access.
I noticed that while playing the main game already. when I switched to using a giant sword I didn't expect to end up constantly jumping around like a faggot in order to actually hit anything
that right there is what we call justice
>Also, more static gameplay is takes less space.
damn thats wizardry but thanks for the tip.
I've seen someone post a webm of a sorcerer with static gameplay, it was kinda long like 20seconds with great quality.
I'd say it's tied with sorcerer. Was painful to deal with bigdragon and coolpope.
Forget the escorts, they suck balls and gain you nothing.
This annoys me so much, there's just no way to balance out armor values for the different classes. If you want your sorc pawn to have some physical defense, you have to make her level fighter for a while, but even so, it will almost not make a difference because it's like perhaps 100 extra defense, while you can 5(!) mDef per level as sorc. (Plus you get shit for mAtk as Fighter obviously.) And as if that wasn't enough, EVERY SINGLE caster armor is TONS of mDef, almost NO pDef. What's even the point?
I suppose the HP you gain by taking fighter is worthwhile though, since you can't really get that any other way.
>10 second cast
>1 second left, pawn gets her face caved in with a tailswipe and instantly downed
Waycastle near Watergod's Altar
Cliff exit from Witchwood
Northernmost healing spring near Blighted Manse
1 wild card
If it doesn't pop up after buddying around for a while, try murdering him and then waiting a week for him to respawn.
Well, you're gonna have a bad time then, because there are plenty of auto-generated quests. It's like trying to "complete all quests" in Skyrim, when there is an infinite amount of them. (Literally.)
The onus is on you, my dude.
Like, inclinations? Pause menu>Status>Your pawn>Inclinations (it's like the second to last page, I think)
Not a bad one. I think right now I have one set up at Bloodwater Beach since it's so goddamn far out of the way and I gotta have my Noonflowers.
You forgot to list the advantages of being short and skinny.
Enjoy every pawn being a giant fatso.
Also, it's wrong. Read up:
And even this neglects a few things:
- Taller characters have an easier time with lanterns in water.
- Taller characters can reach higher places when jumping
- Shorter characters can fit into the goblin holes (lel)
- Shorter characters have smaller hitboxes
Yeah, the way the format works is that it basically just keeps what pixels are the same for the next frame, so if it's almost a still image for most of the video, it takes almost no space at all. That means that UI elements and not moving the camera (just allowing actors to move on screen) helps a lot with file sizes. It's pretty neat, and the reason why webms are so superior to gifs.
>aim for a tanky build
>dont start with hard mode
That I can agree with. It's a bit sad thinking of how many people are gonna quit and never bother just because some anons who have played this game for a long time recommend hard mode right off the bat.
>tfw playing a mage in this game is like waiting in line at the DMV
>bringing friends makes it go by faster but you're still just waiting in line at the DMV
>Ranger classes are awkward
>muh 3 skills warrior class
I fucking love this game but it's so hard to get into
On PSN, the difference between a hardmode Daimon run on a pure assassin build compared to a pure fighter build is mere seconds after all the augments and periapt-stacking.
Only difference is the pure fighter build has enough HP to survive the flame shroud attack and double arm sweep on Daimon 2.0.
You were saying m8?
Hey, it's Schierke autism guy from yesterday again. Vote?
Fivefold, even though they fucking love using hail/fracture.
>yfw ur-pawn goes insane and starts trying to murder everything.
>yfw they can cause you trained them so well and gave them superb gear...
t b h
capcom please, ill suck your tiny jew dicks for western release
>can have a shield while dual-wielding daggers
They look like oompa-loompas
Is my loli fashionable?
Face is ayylmao-tier. You should work on that before worrying about hair color.
Would you like my super secret loli sliders?
4, 18, 3.
Focused Bolt is bread n' butter. Love doing it with ice enhancement, seeing 5 big icicles spawn and then go slamming into some packhunting motherfucker.
Ooh, Downpour then.
If you people are releasing face and body sliders
Remember one thing
Dont post it unless you absolutely care about your characters looks
Like you've spent 10 hours making every little detail the way you like it, not just 30 minutes and then throw the screenshots into mspaint to share on /vg/
>Named my character Knight
>First pawn you meet is named Rook
>Named my main pawn Bishop
Mod that lets Rook level up with me when
Never ever because Rook a shit
