They're decent enough, with fully rebindable keys so you can fix them up to your liking.

There are some weird bugs, though. Backspace is used for back in menus, so when entering a name in the character creator, if you try to backspace it'll delete a character and exit the menu. Ends up being a lot faster to just use CE to change the name than deleting one character at a time.
For bow characters, you press a button to switch between normal attacks and bow aiming, but for some reason if you sprint for more than a few feet, the toggle to bow doesn't work and you have to aim the bow with the skill key to fix it, then it'll be fine until you sprint again.

Haven't noticed anything else, but I'm sure there's more. Pretty minor stuff, all in all.

Dark Arisen is only an expansion to DD, nothing is left out from the original, only extra stuff (and a lot at that).
The PC version is a good quality port with everything from the console versions and nothing new. They left out jap voiceovers and two armor sets based on Berserk but that's about it.

100 levels of Sorcerer will get you 500 magick. The final archistave gives you fucking 1500 magick, enough to already dunk the shit out of anything that isn't outright magick immune.

I know DMC4 vanilla had a few motion swaps and shit going on, no clue if DMC4SE changed up the file structure enough to cause issues.

Animations are the hardest thing to create, but potentially having access to DMC4's large amount of motions could be useful depending on how hard it is to add new content in DD rather than just replace models or textures.

I thought I finally got the texture to stay pretty normal when repacking, and instead I've sentenced the chief's clothes/hair into a pseudo-transparent void. The checkered area moves as he does, it's rather bizarre.

Making progress though, DXT1 with 1 bit alpha at least retained colors and dimensions.

In my experience grabbing on to harpies and Strigoi, that depends on your character's weight class.
I'm usually around 70 kgs, and riding the strigoi up to the Macabre Sculpture in Fortress of Remembrance took some effort because of this.

-A decent Reshade profile (SSAO, AO, Color balance).
-instructions for putting "into free" music back in the title screen.
-trick to remove overlay on screenshots

Some things being worked on:
-transmute armor (give armors other armors stats)
-texture swaps (nude etc)
-(rumored) JP voice rip from PS3/360 version
-weapon stat changes
-real hard mode (like BBI in the main map)

You get access to Advanced and Hybrid vocations after level 10.
If you take your time and do sidequests (there are three or so in the first five minutes, some of which ARE missable), you'll likely be higher level than that by the time you reach Gran Soren.
I recommend that once you get to level 10, sleep at the inn in Cassardis until night and take the boat to Bitterblack Isle. Then change your Vocation (if you're Mage, you get better stat gains switching to Sorcerer right away. Strider and Fighter have okay stat gains on their own, you might want to stay a Basic vocation for a while) and take the boat back, because Bitterblack Isle is post-game.

You can level your vocation without getting exp too quickly, but i doubt you can max a vocation before level 10. kill the buffalo things outside gran soren. it takes a while but it works. or just go on an adventure and kill goblins to level a vocation quickly. Alsoafter Defeating the dragon and entering post-game there is an exploit where you can level vocations while AFK

Not even close, you'll maybe be rank 5 or so if you're just playing normally.
Luckily none of Mage's augments are very good.
Inflection is bugged on console, but might be fixed in the PC version.
Get Apotropaism if you want, it's okay early game. If you have DP to waste though, you'd be better off unlocking Warrior to get its rank 1 Augment, Bastion, and then change back to the vocation you were playing before.
Attunement (+10% Magick) is good, but getting Sorcerer's +20% Magick augment should be your priority.

Dragns dogma is dogshit tho

Avoid making loli slut pawns because there will literally be a million of them and even the people who like riftsluts will still have 999,999 others to choose from over yours, avoid making any pawn with Guardian or Nexus inclinations.

I also recommend avoiding "ironic" characters, and perfect 10/10 husbando/waifu characters. Everyone who isn't making loli riftsluts is making grizzled black-haired husbandos with eye scars and chiseled abs, or green-eyed brown-skinned elven Aphrodites. The trick is to straddle the line between the two extremes.

Bear in mind that some people enjoy making themed parties. Personally I've kept pawns in my party even when I was 100 levels higher than them just because it's so fucking hard to find a good dwarf, or goblin, or what have you.

In the end though it's your game, and your pawn, and you should make whatever you like the best. I'm just offering some very experienced words of wisdom for if you're looking to make a pawn that stands out from the crowd.

Don't do it. You take shit loads of damage and get almost one shot at the beginning and it's just frustrating if you're new. Both normal and hard become a walk in the park by mid game anyway.

Maybe if you like getting one-shot by bats. Even on Normal mode, we occasionally get people complaining about the bandits near the Witchwood. It DOES get easier after the beginning (once you reach the Capital), since your xp gain is doubled and you get a lot more gold.

Hard Mode is for people who know what they're doing (to grab a second Ring of Perseverance), and even then starting Hard Mode at level 1 is pretty hardcore.
