It's p.gud if you're in a ship that handles heat well. Gimbals and turrets can't track you.

Also no shields means no compartments or utilities used up on shield cells/boosters, and more power freed up for ridiculous weapon loadouts like all plasma.

Skilled opponents who run all fixed weapons and aren't easily confused by glitchy radar contacts will make life difficult for you though.

Ships have a base shield value that's supposed to represent how efficient the geometry is to shield, and apparently the actual emitters are part of the hull separate from the replaceable generator.

Also bulkier hulls cause the generator to struggle more to maintain the shield.

Does Horizons only allow surface landings?
Found a mission and went to the system but the contact wasn't available.
I couldn't collect my 45k because the contact wasn't even on the list.

One other mission about prating weapons.
