I try not to care about my stats at all, so when I play and do bad I pretend like I'm having fun when I'm just yelling at a tv while watching my stats drop.

I've just been backing out of shit like TDM lobbies when the leaderboard shows anyone over a 1.25. They always end up on the other team due to sbmm (which I don't really mind most of the time, but it means I have to kill them faster than they can easily kill my team), so I just back out and try again over and over.
If it puts me in a match that's already almost over, oh well, I just play normal and take a loss that doesn't count or a free win.

I have noticed, however, that the connection, namely hit detection in general, seems very shoddy lately. I'm putting half-mags into people for kills in HC this past week. K/D of 2.4 and I'm lucky if I'm over 2 when I've been 3-5 average the past 2-3 weeks.

It just has good damage and good range, the 2 shot kill range is decent and the fast fire rate means you can fuck them up relatively quickly. If they're beyond it you can pretty easily continue spam and you'll get them. Like 5 out of every 10 lobbies I use it in always has a guy raging at me for using it as well which is a bonus.

Damage specifics and shit here, all you really need is extended mags and fast mags imo.

That's sadistic mode. If you want headshots to be marginally useful the High cal mod generally lowers shots to kill by one in core.

No weapon prestige is only for putting your clantag/killcounter on the weapon and getting the xp for unlocking stuff again. Personally i've stopped prestiging weapons after doing it twice

The primary weapon challenges are
10 longshots(for AR, LMG, Sniper)/10 Revenge Medals(SMG, Shotgun)
50 Kills with no attachments
50 Kills with 5 attachments and optic (this effectly uses up all 10 points so you run around without perks/grenades)
5 Double Kills
5 Bloodthirsty Medals (5 Kills with a weapon without dying)

Pistols are the same as SMG but require 50 Kills without perks equipped instead of the 5 attachment one
Launchers require certain scorestreaks to be shot down
Knife has unique challenges

This game doesn't have SBMM. It has this algorithm thing that tries balancing the team so that the noobs all don't get destroyed by an amazing team. This means that if you're the person with the highest SPM in the lobby you're gonna have to carry.

And about the hit detection, it's a Treyarch game, they have a lot of issues with hit detection.

I hated MW3 as well, only part I liked about it was weapon proficiencies. Never even bothered to get to max level, and I've gotten to max prestige in almost every other CoD.

Ghosts is a different animal. Superior create-a-class system that allows for specific class builds, rather than choosing a couple perks with some similar effects; sliding; leaning; squad-based prestige system; the best co-op mode to ever be in CoD; much improved training mode; SNOOP D-O-DOUBLE-G, etc.

It was a broken mess on launch, but even that I can forgive since it was the first next gen game and at that point they still had the two-year dev system AND they had to develop the current and last-gen games themselves, whereas AW and BO3 had separate studios developing the last-gen versions.

After they patched it up it's the best CoD multiplayer to date.

Only real valid complaint is the larger maps, but personally I liked them, required more thought in planning your route.

I don't employ special cheeki brecci tactics or anything, I just go super aggressive when they aren't looking. The 2 shot kill range is good enough and if it's anything more it's not long before I can fire off additional shots to fuck their shit, just get right in their face and spray buckshot everywhere, it's an incredibly simple faceroll weapon.

Charging at multiple people head-on will probably get you killed of course but that goes for any weapon.
