I don't recall how I met the person, but we did some bosses together (dagannoth, Kal queen, maybe gwd). I had known them for probably 3-5 weeks when he asked to borrow 10m to get some better gear. I've got all the Artisan's rewards, so whenever I hit 100 respect I spend it on the bonus package for the 50k bonus xp. It also gives several bars that can only be used for swords, so... I use them. That and rune ceremonial dailies. And it takes 5 conversation clicks to deny the swords and 2 to accept them. Also, I'm probably autistic.

I would level Farming first to be able to start doing herb runs. Also look up the quest My Big Arm's Adventure. Finishing that quest gives you a herb patch that never gets diseased and it helps a lot.
You might also want to look at Throne of Miscellenia quest and the one after it, I think it was called Royal Trouble or something. It unlocks the Misc Management and it gives you around 200k-300k a day.

I played this game from like 2000 to 2006, I came back for oldschool and played it for a few months but lost interest after that. I played through the tutorial for the current game and it seems mildly interesting, how long would it take me to get to 'end game' from having nothing.

Should I play f2p for a while or just sub now? Or not bother playing at all?
