The tuning takes it's toll on an already tired general edition.

Asking again but does anyone know where I can find the Swat/SMG class for KF1? Already tried TWI and Steam forums and workshop.
also playing with friends that were new to the game
cool string edit
They're already perfectly balanced for solo normal.
Fuck you tripwire, I just want my perks that can handle big guys easier again, having to do more than a performance monkey just to kill a fleshpound as demo isn't fun or worth it most the time.
How the fuck does something like this even happen?
i dont mind shrapnel, it makes sense for a perk like firebug to handle a lane on his own so he doesnt interfere with other peoples aim. i want more buffs and less nerfs, and that goes for the zeds too (as long as they take a little health away)
>firebug gets some shrapnel
>demo doesn't get that or napalm on explosives
No. Just no. The design of this skill is so retarded that it would actually be beneficial to let 10 clots attack a berserker and kill them when a FP appears.
This skill is a failure at every level.
>You will never lick her sweaty ass after an intense HoE wave
>You will never listen to her stifle moans of pleasure as you plunge your tongue into her asshole
>You will never see how shitty of a person she is as she cums then leaves you hanging with a hard-on as the wave starts and says maybe next time
>Briar will never whisper "Just" as you walk back to the party disappointed
i dont know about you but im used to seeing trash surround a fleshpound and sirens, 2 enemies that have weakness to explosive. firebug already has mediocre ammo, but he also has skills to compensate for that. you know whats a failure at every level? support. the supplier bonus is easily mitigated by having a different class with better damage output so you dont need to use as many bullets
>faggots still think firebug is OP
Do these people not actually play the perk? Firebug is in a good place right now. Does it's job correctly, but still has issues with ammo management. Seriously if they nerf firebug it's going to drop to support-tier shit so fucking fast.
The only nerf that I think is acceptable is splash damage.
>waaaaah nerf zed shrapnel
fuck off it's a fun skill that makes the perk much more viable.
They can also nerf scrake microwave weakness once sharpshooter comes out
depending on the map. Most places have more than one choke point so find some fucking other zeds to shoot. Or shoot the ones that the firebug can't reach. It's like complaining that the zerker is body blocking a doorway. as someone who mainly plays commando and gunslinger I welcome a good firebug on any team.
Gunslinger can just dash around the fires and hit and run shit in most cases, besides there's usually more than one route a player can look than the one already focused on by others.
>getting chased by FP
>switch to knife to block/parry
>die anyway because medic is thumbing his asshole
>lose my primary weapon because of this shit
they should just make it so you always drop your highest tier on-perk weapon regardless of what you're holding when you die.
I honestly have no idea how drops work. It seems to be more random than back when they were first released. Don't know if you're limited per week or something anymore. Who knows.
So, you either try to steal some kills and lower the efficiency of the firebug as Shrapnel is a skill that is detrimental to teamplay, or you find another place in hope you may have fun there.
all you have to do is tag any burning zeds to get dosh from them. if kiting, just move somewhere else to get kills. or just sit back and save ammo while firebug goes full beavis. what's the problem?
>pulving a fleshpound as zerk
>most the teams on the other side of the area handling other routes
>medics stumbling it as i'm trying to parry
>tell him not to unless i'm really in danger
>he says sorry and stops
>next wave find dual fleshpounds walking my way
>see red objecting flying over my shoulder
>firebugs spamming flaretovs my way
>rages them prematurely
>get sent flying into the wall
>berserker in kf1 who dont use katana
Fucking hell, just lost a map cuz of it..
>playing with friends on KF1
>go and play zerk because why not
>type "*unzips katana*" as I wield it in front of them
>they kick me
I'm sorry your aim is shit m8
But this game has plenty and its only the beginning ;)
>want a cool weapon skin
>don't actually want to drop money on anything in the zedconomy because fuck that shit
>there are so many shit drops of various rarities and sub rarities that it's impossible to ever get a worthwhile drop in game
the zedconomy is easily one of the least fun additions to the game.
hats are even worse because you can't see them on your own character when playing. I can at least see the weapon skins when I'm playing.
>3 billion different styles of headband
for what purpose
Teach a simple goyim your ways, sensei
>tripwire says zedconomy is going to fund free content after the games release
calling it now we won't see another free thing after the game officially comes out of EA. Hell even before maybe.
It really isn't, Mint Glow Katana sold for 24 and people are paying 50+ for it, M79 Green sold for 17 and people are paying 40 for it. SHITTY M79 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
While I wasn't around for the development of Fog_Rig much isn't that what happened?
I only meant that a smaller scope in general means that completion of the map will be simple when compared to something the size of an official map regardless of the approach.
Also it could have been due to time constraints
>discussions turned to steam market shilling
Its over, we're no better than csgo or tf2 generals
>last communications stated they were going to fix the 9mm sound
>a month ago
I could have milled out a 92fs frame, built it with a parts kit, handloaded some ammo, and recorded the actual report it made, and optimized the sound for KF2 by now
this shit isn't hard
Or they could release the damned AkBank package loading tools, so the modding community will fix it themselves.
oh wait, this is the company that still hasn't opened the free workshop
and is funding their continued development of the game through a retarded F2P game skin model
And refused to implement any of the improvements the community made to RO2 FOR them when it became clear that development had ground to a halt
You forgot the ERP but yeah, they were great times.
>do frightyard objective mode
>people dont know you need get the bloats inside
>they kill them instead
WHY CANT I FIND NORMAL PEOPLE TO GET THIS SHIT THRU AUZFH B
Your heart pressure! We need to get you fighting fit!
Strength, so that if a teammate dies, you can at least make yourself useful and carry their weapon to prevent it from disappearing from the ground. Provided you don't die, or you at least drop the weapons you have if you can see you're about to die, obviously.
If you have a Demo or Firebug on the team, go Supplier. An extra C4 and two extra RPGs, and/or 100 extra ammo for the Microwave Gun is more likely to save everyone's asses at a bad time than 16 AA12 shots.
I like going Regen, because it gives you a ton more survivability, and let's face it, a Medic would much rather save a Berserker or someone more important over you any time. Better to make the Medic not have to worry about you much in the first place.
Is there a trick to juggling 3+ primary weapons easily or is it just a matter of getting used to it? Is there a super secret key binding that might help or is the mouse wheel switching as good as it gets?
Coming from KF1 I'm far too used to having primary weapons split between Tier 2 and Tier 3 keys. Trying to learn to switch intelligently between the Shotgun, DBS, and AA12 to fit the moment at hand has been really messing me up.
I've also noticed the game has some strange ideas about how to order the weapons in the categories when you mix in off-perks. Things like a medic pistol being equivalent to a single Deagle and C4 being considered superior to Dual Deagles and things like that. Does anyone know how to mess with that, or even the mechanics behind it? It's really odd shit sometimes.
Hopefully, they are just throwing ideas against the wall to see what sticks, and this clearly wasn't it, so I wanna believe they will make ammo more plentiful in the next update. However, I could be wrong. They may easily think this game is meant to be some kind of shitty survival horror game or something.
>tripwire just now getting back to work
>have to stay tuned again until fucking april
Now all we need is welding to get its usefulness again, extra carrying to go back to how it was and fall off damage to not be complete horseshit. Am I missing something?
>bare minimum I ever carried with my M4 was 7 30 round magazines, sometimes 10
>and that's in addition to plates, water, a belt for the SAW gunner and more
>guy in vidya can only carry 200 total rounds of 9mm for his babby AR while wearing soft armor
you know what TWI needs?
a person that talks to emplyees and films them everyday and ask what they're working on and show if the can show some sneakpeaks and make a neat little video of it every week
that way we get more info, they can get some media attention and make some extra money
To be fair only one person in this game is trained military.
Hey has anyone seen this?
I might be late, but apparently some guys talked to Based Alan about KF2.
>AW: Well, we had people playing the PS4 version at Sony PSX recently, which was great to see. As for the Xbone - seems very likely to me. Just that it will have to wait until we've got the PC and PS4 versions finished first!
Circle between mid and the grinder/control rooms. You should never go in any of the rooms in that webm except for the very last one unless you absolutely have to. Spawn can be safe to kite though as long as you never use the middle connector. Basically just put as many doors, corners, and elevation changes between yourself and the zeds as possible and only shoot things that get in front of you.
You're just shit.
This fucking wait for shit wouldn't be so bad if they did balance patches
like what does it take to have a couple guys fixing obviously poorly balanced bullshit? the way they're going right now the game will never be balanced because they only do shit when they add new shit
also man I hope they remove the hideous "glowing" weapons on fps/hans/scrakes. It's so fucking ugly and takes me right out of the game
Yeah they did once on the forums.
Something about "Oh well if we release patches to regularly players will get confused about what's changed and what hasn't and the feedback will be a mess".
In other words, we can only release patches with the 3 month updates because it's too hard for players to spot the differences.
I think it's a bullshit excuse, but a small part of it is true, when I remember all the retards who don't even bother to read the changelog when the updates release and then go "WHOA WHEN DID BERSERKER'S HEALTH DROP FROM 200?!" or "WHOA WHEN DID COMMANDO GET THIS NEW SKILL?!".
>we are going to leave our game to rot over months at a time because our playerbase is too dumb to read a changelog
It's tripwire's own fault, they sent out shit tons of KF2 keys to cancer e-celebs who attracted their 14 yo fanbases with the attention span of ten seconds who will never play anything above normal
But Anon you don't understand.
Balancing perks isn't an easy job.
For example, do you know how hard it would be to change Support's Damage per level from 1% to 1.5%?
You probably think it's just editing two lines of code, BUT, editing those two lines of code will actually take A LOT OF DEVELOPER HOURS, AND FRANKLY, THERE'S JUST NOT ENOUGH TIME.
I wouldn't expect a dumb consume- I mean, an average player like you to understand that, but there are more important player demands to attend to right now. Do you know how furious people would've been if they hadn't been able to open Horzine Crates for the Patty update?
Oh by the way, you may have heard that the Zedconomy may have taken resources and manpower away from actual development, but that is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. It did not affect KF2's development at all! One day in October Ramm just said "Hey what if we had a Zedconomy?" and then it just magically appeared in the game's code that very moment!
So don't be entitled, STAY TUNED, VERY SOON.
Yes it is, but then again, look where we are. This is KF2 under TW, where EARLY ACCESS DONE RIGHT is taking on a whole new meaning.
that katana demo noped the fuck out of that bush quick after watching the medic ripped apart
Check this TWI thread out. Pika made a whole thread on how to make holding out to be the main strategy and he did make suggestions on how the supports fast recharge and weld speed abilities would be useful once again if changes were made to the door. I lost a pic highlighting the important parts but I can make it again.
I like what Pika is proposing about wanting TWI to pursue the change holdout location per wave idea. He said he was pissed off when we got body flashlights since that puts all the work of the lighting destructions in the parking garage map to a complete waste.
Ironically thats a reason why he decided to make a bright map with no destructible lights and made Fog_Rig for the contest.
>Use a strong fog to obscure players vision when outside on the Outpost map, The fog doesn't have to be constant either, you can make it that it gets thicker then thinner over cycles.
Oh fuck yes! After playing fog rig I actually kind of want this for outpost, it could change the whole idea about camping in that outside spot all the fucking time.
>Continues to maul Ana after she's died
The upcoming patch will hopefully fix that. Normally TW won't patch unless they think it's critically urgent.
Like when running KF2 on Win10 would crash 95% of the time. They fixed that like a day later.
eh at least it's funny. patch it and they'll go back to zerk walling in a corner.
they claimed to have patched zerk walling too, but people are still doing it. fp/sc seriously needs some sort of gut buster move that ohko if they're held stationary/body blocked after a few seconds.
>fp/sc seriously needs some sort of gut buster move that ohko if they're held stationary/body blocked after a few seconds.
the one attack where the scrake holds his chainsaw infront of him and kinda jiggles it about does that
I've seen that attack kill loads of zerks if the medic has no nades or if the people just aren't doing enough damage
I WANT ALL PERK BOOSTED CROSSHAIR USING KEKMANDO PLAYING FAGGOTS TO FUCKING DIE
I liked the idea that FP and Scrake pretty much do 1 hit kills unless players block or parry and players can use the melee bash to constantly pummel the scrakes around like in L4D. But if it gets abused and players surround the scrake or FP then they use some move that 1 hit kills players or sends them flying back if they manage to live. FP use to have a helicopter move that I don't see him use anymore and I think scrake had one also.
At this rate I would like being able to do constant stumbles/knockdowns on scrakes and FP with the huge health amounts they have right now would be fair. Of course the FP get pissed off and he can't be stumble when in rage mode which make them extra dangerous compared to scrakes where they can still be stumbled when they rush rage.
FPs don't rage if you break their line of sight or if they can attack. It doesn't matter whether their attacks hit something or not.
They will rage if they take to much damage or too many small attacks in a small time frame.
You can headshot them with claymore or axe without making them rage.
Scrakes can be stun locked with axe or claymore headshots.
Scrake hitboxes are terrible.
Use a Lever Action Rifle as a Berserker.
Now you can win MountainPass or Farm in HoE alone.
Hey guys check me and my gunslinger skills out haha
pew pew pew
>there will never be a KS-23 as a support weapon
You fucking dare make them shit on supports only saving grace
>just fucking walked past an area with no zeds
>suddenly there's a group behind you
>join farmhouse game
>it's a glitcher shitter lobby
oh yeah right forgot that people need to use crutches in a fucking PvE game.
I get irrationally angry at people who feel the need to cheat in a game that isn't even competitive.
>12 seconds webm
>makes conclusions about players skill
They just dropped from the roof. Don't teach me how to play, kohai. My only mistake was that I missed his head multiplie times even though 90% of time I rip it off with first hit.
He's about right. Game is balanced towards pubs with no team play.
To get a remotely challenging session with a decent team you need to fake like 5 more players but at that point it's heading towards artifical difficulty with the lack of ammo.
>new item obtained
>flatcap - brown
I really want to cry now.
>Why is everyone some variety of trash killer with little to no actual specialization
Swat will be Commando with SMGs
Martial Autist will be faster Berserker
Sharpshooter will just be Gunslinger/Commando with Rifles
Demo will never get the fixes it needs but instead more ammo to alleviate issues. Pistol will get a 10% damage and AOE boost
Support will be ignored outside of another price change
Commando will be ignored
Firebug will get a nerf for splash, microwave, another one to shrapnel and they'll find something wrong with the molotovs
Gunslinger will be nerfed for Rack-Em-Up being too good against scrakes and the knockdown being considered OP by the community
Early Access Done Right™
Not really. Besides skills and a better melee system the game is all over the place compared to one because everything becomes a complete mess as soon as two or three boss zeds pop up because you can't reliably take care of them without risking it devolving into a uncoordinated melee.
>last man alive
>only 20 zeds left and all the Scrakes/FPs are dead
>blunder hard and get blindsided by a lone Gorefast while low on health and die
>the players all leave
>clutch a 4-man hard wave purposefully not killing any zeds until the fp was dead to avoid permaraging the fp and scrake
>don't get any thanks
>nobody says anything except for one guy asking for dosh
Sorry if this has been asked before but where are the original maps from KF1?
I played KF2 weeks ago when it was on a free weekend sale and I could play some of the old maps like mountain pass but now when i got it during the christmas sales, I boot it up and the maps are gone.
Whats going on?
>Pubbing like a tard because no crew is playing
>play three rounds
>Squad ignores healing eachother COMPLETELY
>Was under 30 health for the whole wave, three of them healed themselves twice instead of team heals
I know I deserve it for pubbing. But one of these faggots decided that I was the asshole for wondering why we weren't team healing.
>hey guys buy medic pistols!
>buy medic pistol
>drop it to a team mate
>see his dosh going up
>... guys we really need those medic pistols or we are dead
>yo man where do you got that knight skin?
>pubs that don't team heal
>people that look at you coming at them with your med syringe out for a full 5 seconds before you can catch up to them while you're also not at 100% health
>they take out their own syringe
>and fucking heal themselves instead
This shit by fucking far gets me madder than anything else in this game. Not even zerkers that run off on their own to leave the team for dead only to pick up the weapons from the ground and sell them all for an Eviscerator leaving the team with shitty weapons on the Scrake/FP waves manage to get me as mad.
I want to get angry at them, but then you realize there's two things players have to know:
>syringe can be used on allies by left-clicking
>syringe recovers twice as fast if used on allies
How would a new player learn about this? Until they read a loading screen tooltip, they assume that Q is for self-heal and only the medic can heal others.
Speaking of which, how is anybody supposed to figure out that FPs are weak to most melee bashes without looking it up in a wiki?
New players I can understand, I don't get mad when sub level 5s don't do it, but if you're level 13 and you're STILL pulling this shit off then holy god damn does it boil my blood, its even worse when they proceed to ask for a small spare cash that they would fucking have if they healed others in the first place.
You used to be able to modify your own command wheel and everyone could see it but Tripwire hates fun.
How about taking two minutes to fucking google something?
An in game tutorial / resource does nothing if the person is too retarded to use the tools that they already have.
The situation is very simple. We aren't talking about a year of hard grinding and nuanced play style. We live in a day and age where literally any video game has tutorials at length. All you have to do is use your fucking fingers to move inches to a search engine.
You can't make these people learn with in game resources.
That all changed with the M99 update. I remember it very clearly, since Scrakes and FPs suddenly became completely trivial and anyone could pick up the sniper rifle and take them out with no effort. Shortly after people just stopped caring about teamwork because there was no need for it.
I fear that the same might happen with KF2, that the sniper rifle just becomes a one trick pony to trivialize big guys.
When I started playing KF1 the M99 update already happened and the M99 already got nerfed. I didn't see it getting used too often either, sharpies mostly stuck to pistols and the xbow.
What. I do my own research. And my idea would work wonders if the tutorial was mandatory. Sure it'd piss people off but then again it'd also filter off the unreedemable shitters.
Maybe just some sort of an in-game database with tips about things? And when you see something new, you get a notification that a new record has been added to the database, so dumb people realize it exists and might be worth checking out?
You don't get it.
These are people that have technology literally at their fingertips. They are too stupid or lazy to look the game up on the steam overlay, their computers, or even their fucking phones for fucks sake.
The in game tutorial wont help people this lazy.
Natural human inquisitiveness should drive them to learn more about their hobby. But these are people that are below that threshold.
As I type this now the only solution that is apparent is to make the non retards suffer through the lower difficulties, and move on to SUI and HoE where the shitters don't play.
It doesn't make grinding any easier, but it's the only way. You can't make these people learn.
That's what I meant with bestiary. The problem is that if it isn't mandatory to check it very few players would use it, and those that would would've already got the same info from external sources like our google spreadsheet.
>The problem is that if it isn't mandatory to check it very few players would use it
Make it so that if it has new information, you have to open it and check it out before being able to play.
So do spiders just spawn in? I just started the game like two days ago and I notice that they are literally coming out of nowhere. Ive seen them suddenly appear behind me despite having looked there two seconds ago. They have did the same thing when I ran to a corner and turned to face the scrake that was chasing me only to be hit from behind by a fucking spider.
So I can safely assume they are just spawning them in when you are looking as some sort of cheap bullshit tactic?
No? It's just a database of information.
>you can press Q to heal yourself
>the syringe recharges over time which can be seen on the bottom right corner
>the syringe can also heal teammates and recharges twice as fast if you do so
when you see an enemy for the first time, you get a notification that a new record has been listed
every time you use a piece of equipment for the first time, you get a notification that a new record has been listed
once you go back to the main menu, you have to view each new record before being able to play again
for old players, this would only be a small nuisance, but that's a price I'm willing to play
>* 1. Solo *
>a. Extract the archive into <Steam folder>\SteamApps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\Maps
>b. Launch KF2, open the console and run the following command:
really, why is the crosshair an option in KF2?
I understand that you can't prevent people from making one, but isn't KF2 supposed to be a "survival horror" game?
I just don't understand why they would add it.
And KF1 was a "survival horror" game?
When you can run around as a chicken-man yelling "lodsamoney", horror game is the last thing you think of.
Gibson said that KF is a hoard shooter in the PS4 video.
>crosshair meme arguement
we already did this shit.
Bubsy Two-Fur is also listed as a survival horror game on steam so what does that say?
It has nothing to do with why they had chosen to implement a crosshair option.
It's already in the game so just deal with it, if people want to use the crosshair or not has no affect on you.
A shitter will always be a shitter no matter their preferences.
Except ana players should all die.
yeah its broken the trader doesnt work. had to use allweapons to get a scar.
anyways it's nigh impossible now. for some reason the fp doesn't pound the floor anymore so depending on your distance you might not be able to empty the entire mag. i did slomo .2 and under humanly perfect conditions the player will need to parry perfectly 3 times not allowing for a follow up attack and use 3 mags. all while hoping some clot doesn't interfere.
guess i'll just start carrying a pulv or something if the team is shit.
SomeTestMap came with a readme and a SomeTestMap.u file you were supposed to put in the BrewedPC folder
It only takes 3 mags if you don't use the large mags skill.
Takes less than 2 mags with large mags.
Commando shouldn't even bother with FPs anyways, just shoot the trash so other people can deal with them and not get swarmed.
You can see the Husk going into the suicide animation just before the Clots spin you around.
Any other good/decent maps?
Not sure about MountainArena, Port and Slaughterhouse. Need to see them in action first.
Port is pretty good.
mountainpass and biolabsUK are other good KF1 remakes.
All TWI would have to do is expand farmhouse into farm, but they should probably work out the issues farmhouse already has.
That thing in the middle is a decapped bloat...
>buy this game for my brother because he loved the first one
>might as well get it for myself too so I can play with him
>start playing it more than he does
This game is pretty fun. I'm just a normal babby so far but mostly because I want to unlock perks before going higher.
Are field medics appreciated?
Having a team that isn't complete shit is and should always be a requirement for clearing the highest difficulties in any coop game. FPs are there to force players to cooperate.
Please refer to this image.
Support and Demo are regarded as not as powerful as they should be, but they still shine as long as you play with their strengths. Don't let memes make you think otherwise.
I'm usually top-kill with either one, and i'm just decent at the game. Unless you're playing Hell on Earth you're free to play anything.
How do we make the sharpshooter useful without making the game too easy?
Support is just gimped and requires a lot of money
Demo is a one trick pony, doesn't contribute much on the long run and is just annoying with all the explosions and
I just beat Suicidal as a solo Support, Flash Pounds and Scrakes easily melted when in contact with my premium skin AA12, clearly this means the perk is balanced and no change is needed.
>high level zerker trivializing things
You never met a well cashed level 25 Medic who never let FPs and Scrakes rage and always ensured you and your team were fully armored at all times.
>that fucking zerker just standing still spamming mouse 1 thinking he's hot shit when in reality he's being shot by three darts in the ass per second
I just hate zerker players, 90% of them are so obnoxious.
Yo I heard /kfg/ likes Commando players!
>some faggot zerker demands me to give him armor
>he demands more than 15
>"i'd rather give the armor to demo than zerker, since he is more fragile than you"
>NO GIVE THAT ARMOR TO ME
>few waves later
>1fp and 2 sc
>while zerker was kiting 1 sc i aggroed second sc with my medigun
>sc instantly raged together with the fp
>"oh i missed my healing dart"
>"oh also i dropped nades under me "
>zerk dies in 2 seconds
>our gs/demo finish the rest of zeds
Gotta tighten the leash to show them who is the real boss here.
join the kfg chat on steam and ask for help
But they don't have any as of now. Support is neutered to hell and held back by the absurd costs on top of that. Demo can't reliably clear trash and can't quickly deal with FPs on his own.
>play as commando or firebug if you're a scrub
>easily 1k by wave 2 enough for m70/m4
I don't fucking get why people play low damaging classes at start.
Especially those fucking medics that guilt you into giving them money.
Fucking hell nobody decent is going to die during the first 5 waves so switch to a damage class and get your stupid ar after wave 3
>medic that would rather buff up the demo than zerks
Please play with me sometime, senpai, I can make fleshpounds go before getting in a zerks reach
Here's how I rank respect for each class
Medic: You're playing a game that's about killing, and instead of putting out big damage, you keep the team alive, I give props to people who play it despite how boring it feels. Medics who are killing outside of defending themselves/getting rid of the lowly trash for others don't apply however.
Gunslinger: It takes a good amount of skill to be a top slinger, being able to rack up headshots consistently while being sanic and everything moving around is fun, and being able to quickly work off scrakes with the reward of good aiming is a nice bonus.
Commando: Keep single targets in order, call out is good for making stalkers from sneaking in your face and absorbing a shot. Zed time is nice too, but more often than not its a hit and miss depending what you play since bullets are awkward.
Support: Memes aside, supports are good for extra ammo and clearing groups of trash quickly, a good support can even break an enemies combo attacks with the boomsticks altfire which can save their skin for hans wombo combo, while not great I give them points for sticking to an UP class.
Demo: Mostly useless until fleshies appear, though that isn't their fault since they've had a bad gimp and Hans resistance, as long as they can kill fleshpounds fine then they're at least passable. Explosives are a bit of an eyesore, though.
Zerk: Either standing around walling and relying on the medic to spam darts up his ass or running off on his own across the other side of the map. I get you're up front taking the force for the team, but its the role you chose.
Firebug: Main causes of framerate lags, horrible eyesores on the screen, vision obscurities and there's too much reward on this class for not so much work, compared to others. Most just spray their flames around and cause issues more than nothing.
>framerate drops out the ass
>constant sound of loud explosions
>gibs flying everywhere
>can't see shit through all the fire and explosions
>just a constant 24/7 fuck you to everyone on the team
It's a first person co-op shooter where some of the enemies are covered in jam
The monsters are all monsterous because it's fucking cool, not because it's actually trying to frighten you
Yes, the screen shake from firing weapons and especially hitting things with melee weapons
It's just absurd and legitimately causes people to throw up, same with all the "cinematic" camera movements caused by performing actions like reloading.
>update broke my game
stuck on this screen btw
anyone else got fucked like me?
i applied yoshiro's fix and it worked
"Most likely corrupt file. Try deleting your mydocs/mygames/killing floor 2 folder and steamapps/common/killing floor 2/binaries folder and verify the game cache. "

There's surprisingly a lot anime avatars in the games I play.
Does this game attract people who like anime for any particular reason?
People who like anime also likes games, its not exactly groundbreaking stuff. You'll see them on most games because they're NEET's with a lot of free time.
>another update to the SDK
>free workshop still closed
>want to play as certain character
>someone else plays him
>have to play someone else because muh cloned characters

>playing suicidal pub with a level 9 m8
>carrying as medic everything going fine and dandy
>some shitty low level demo constantly shitting on my friend while thinking that his most kills/assists actually mean anything
i was always 10ish kills behind him as a medic
everyone wipes as expected, i solo some raged fp's and loads of trash, everything going fine
pubs are fun

>want to play demo
>going to be completely worthless until fleshpounds appear
The fuck am I meant to do besides change class? Just chuck dynamite into huge crowds for several rounds?
>pretend to be a door
>be a wall of infinite death
>get AA12 for FP
>if team is getting overrun, blow the horde to oblivion in a second
>Double C4 FPs
I want the M79 to not be shit so demos can actually do something fun prior to RPG time. I want it to be lighter and have a bit more ammo. I also want to fly and I want lots of money irl.
