She goes after Terumi in Continnum Shift because she was mad that he used Tsubaki like he did. She does that in both the arcade mode and the story proper and he made her so angry he popped her limiter.

You make them pay for whiffed/blocked DPs. I know most people say to focus on fundamentals, neutral/footsies over combos when learning characters, but that's not entirely true.

With the exception of maybe Litchi, it's stupid easy to get 3k+ off of a blocked DP with any character. You should at least keep one of those strong, "punish" combos ready to go for DPs

my problem isnt that i dont have a good punish combo but the risk i guess. even throwing out fastest moves get dped. either take a huge risk for small reward or take no risk by keeping space and blocking. trying to trick them by using a fast move that recovers before they get up and block their dp can only work once or so.

You have to condition them to not just throw out DPs willy-nilly. You have to bait out those DPs, block and punish. If you have a decent enough punish for it, 2 of those combos and that's 50% HP.

There is no slowing down, there is no backing up, there is no stopping whatsoever.

I played fighting games for a long time on keyboard when I was younger. I had the arcade rip of CS back in the day and played that on keyboard a ton, heh.

You can do a lot just fine, but make sure to take breaks or it'll make your hands/wrists really sore. 360/720s are the only thing fairly impossible on keyboard imo, but not many characters have those anyways.
I'd recommend getting a cheap controller or stick, but you'll be fine without it if you're playing casually or for short bursts.
