I found 4 gigs of Survarium weapon models. That's the f2p mmo game the Stalker devs made with Stalker 2 assets after it was cancelled. I'm not really into weapons so I'm not going to bother with it but this seems like a good pile.

OS in this case is for converting models to Fallout 4's .nif format or converting Fallout 4 .nif's to Fallout 4 CBBE / other body mods. What are you trying to do and why is it so fucked up?

There are no nifscripts developers, those tools are likely never going to be updated. If you want to use blender you're forced to use OS if you want to see your model in-game.

It does that for any mesh if you don't weigh it properly, there's nothing special about the game its from - it's just a model. That workflow you're suggesting won't do anything except waste time.

There have been several fullbody suits that aren't skimpy that have come out of OS, you just don't know what you're doing and the tool is still a WIP.

I killed Swan at level 18 by cheesing it, running around the fountain and taking popshots at the right time, then running around out of sight again. Took me a while, I was just using the gun Danse gave me.

And ye, I like the look of it. I've been trying to get all of the endurance damage resistance and health boost perks to make up for it ontop of luck and barter.

Don't get me wrong, if a quest is too difficult, I tend to reload from before then go and get my power armor, although I've only had to do it once so far. I always make a hard save before entering certain parts for quests where I can still exit.

It's just while I'm exploring/doing side quests that I will occasionally get my shit pushed in. Plus I'm gonna need to start levelling up my weapon upgrade perks too since some people are bullet sponges and causes me to use up at least 4 stim packs a fight.

With max BW you can get around 240 DR with just the suit and a hat/helmet.

You can literally wear an indestructible fedora that will give you more protection than a full suit of combat armour.

grab a combat rifle (it might drop as short combat rifle) and make sure you're stocked up on .45 (or .44, cant remember right now) and throw your sight of choice on it and go to town, with the semi-auto rifle damage perk at level 3 im killing shit quick

Why a gun that fires a round as small as 5mm would be so large is beyond me. Even miniguns chambered in 7.62mm aren't that large.

Pic related is what one in 5mm would likely resemble, without its ammo pack of course.

I mean, yes, "this is a videogame", but there's zero reason to make the weapon so large when it looks incredibly silly being carried by someone out of power armor, and even in power-armor it looks more like a .50 cal minigun (especially with the three-barrel upgrade).

And here is a minigun waifu. Note that this one is in 7.62mm (like the one in Predator and Terminator 2) and is still not obscenely large. Detached from its gun emplacement it would look fairly manageable until you fired it, and of course there's the size of the ammo pack needed to consider along with the cables and battery powering the weapon, which is where it starts to become prohibitive as a "personnel" weapon. I'm fine with hand-waving all of that away, especially when fission batteries of a reasonably small size and weight exist in the Fallout world, I just dislike the size they're depicted with.

This happened. I tried. I might have to wait for the tool to either be updated or someone makes a tutorial on how to port NV / FO3 clothes with it. Because each outfit gave these fucked up hands on the right, and messed up legs.

Skyrim Cbbe outfits just happen to be a lot easier to port with a program made for Cbbe, at least for now.

So let's say you give yourself 10 Charisma through character creation and levelling up, then get the Charisma Bobblehead from the Insane Asylum to get 11, then wear a Charisma boosting piece of clothing and a charisma boosting headpiece to give you 13 Charisma total.

13 Charisma + 10 base = 23 settlers.

Make each settler a farmer, that's 23 * 6 = 138 food units produced.

I'm expecting so, finishing the main quest and then being left with nothing to do but radiant quests and a few side quests was pretty disappointing. I'm with the Brotherhood and there is still plenty of shit for them to do, but instead I'm given jobs that any Knight with a laser rifle and some power armor could take care of.

I hope to see something involving all the APCs that are around the map, and maybe a DLC set kind of far away. Restore one of the crazy looking trains and head off.

I think that the Minutemen shouldn't be the only faction with settlements, either. I know you make a safehouse for the railroad, but I don't know about the Institute. And you can build the molecular relay at the boston airport. But that's it. I'd like to go through the commonwealth to the military checkpoints and similar locations to capture them for the Brotherhood. It would still be populated by settlers, but maybe a few scribes/initiates hanging out. Maybe the option to get a knight as a defense unit like a turret. Guess I'll just wait for mods. I'm hype for the inevitable Enclave Commander style mod. Just call in a vertibird to drop off a squad of units you can command.

Yes & No. In fallout 4 there are robotic humanoids called synths. Gen 1 & 2 synths are just robots that sorta look like humans but gen 3 are cyborgs but don't have a human brain. More of the lab built variety. The main plot sorta revolves around them so it's your choice on whether or not they're freed, enslaved or killed en masse. The synths aren't prewar but built by a group from prewar.
