What does it mean when you clean your masters with TES5Edit and they appear in MO's overwrite folder?

It means the original dirty file is still dirty inside the mod folder and the clean file is in the overwrite folder. Since Overwrite is at the bottom of Mod Organizer list, that will be the file used. I think.

I had a feeling right after I posted but linked the website just to be sure.

I've recently been playing around with some of the HDT mods, mostly ponytails and capes and tails and things like that. I've always played first person 100% of the time but this run I'm trying to only go into 1st if I need to pick up a specific object I can't otherwise get in 3rd person. As a result I'm looking through a lot more cosmetic mods since I'll be seeing more of them.

Also just found a dodge mod (TK dodge) and going to test how reliable it is. Been looking for a mod that adds a single button + directional (preferably left ALT) for my unarmed fists monk playthrough.

Checking the folder now, I think the original files were backed up and MO made an overwrite folder for that too. So I guess it's safe to put my cleaned masters in there.
