Just ignore posts about it if it bothers you that much, or better yet filter it so it won't bother you anymore.
It's a new year, forgive and forget, this is The Elder Scrolls General whether you like it or not.

Welcome to the Drunken Dragon, what'll ya have /tesg/?
I NEED A GOOD HIDDEN GEM FOR MORROWIND, OBLIVION, AND SKYRIM, ONE OF THEM RARE (UNDER 5K DOWNLOADS), ONE OF THEM WELL DONE (OVER 10K DOWNLOADS), STAT!
but playground creepers don't have jobs anon. they just creep.
>you will live to see virtual reality perfected and to hook yourself up to the Tamriel matrix
The metaphor of CHIM will be complete.
that's something a pedo would say
you got something you're hiding anon?
Needed some position fixing in NifSkope though.
yes that is her
>Make a huge moddable open world rpg
>Excited to see all the quests and gameplay enhancements people add in
>Get Bikini armor and a bunch of waifu shit instead
I feel sorry for bethesda devs.
heiko is the only one worth a filter
Here you go:
recolored a bit
It has some odd clipping in the shoulders with most of halo poses though.
THEN HOW DID EVERY OTHER CITY ASSET GET COPIED INTO THE NEW OPEN CITIES REBORN AREA YOU ARSE
AND HOW DO YOU NOT COMPREHEND HOW FUCKING IRRITATING THAT SHARPENING IS? FIX YOUR EYES YOU FUCKING WANKER
I don't see what this proves.
I want to sneak up behind her and
pull her ears and then run away when she gets mad
Well, damn. Whenever I try to create and altmer it looks somewhat like a dried pear.
Just another question. Are there some custom mer races to apply textures and meshes to or I'd have to git gud and make my own if I dont want every npc to have unrealistically young and flawless skin ?
Dont bully Altmers!
Even more bullies
It better be something like High Rock AND Hammerfell in the same game to make up for the small size of each individual province or I'll be fucking pissed at Beth for taking the lazy route.
I'd be happy with that combo or Elsweyr+Valenwood+Summerset Isles instead.
She wears a chinguard so she doesn't put eyes out.
Running would be prudent as she doesn't know her own strength sometimes.
But her dad is dead after falling off a cliff mysteriously. Her mom was there and everything.
Yeah, there's a custom race mod that just adds 'custom' versions of the pre-existing races for you to do just that.
I have a question: Why is oblivion such a threat? How are the daedras able to potentially rek both men and elfs at the same time? Do they have an army that is almost infinite or what?
Skingrad and the Imperial City are fine but half the other cities are fucked.
I don't understandu
But really, what is it about Nord Elves that makes them QT as fuck?
Look at the OP site (tesgeneral.com), there's two new good Oblivion modding guides.
The mod you're talking about that was recommended to you is Oblivion XP which is pretty good, better than vanilla at least, but imo tends to overreach and tries to do too much.
>rise of house telvanni
>just turned archmagister
>first order is to replace Gothren
>get to pick one of three options
>oh neat I might have to think this over carefully
>either Gothren's Mouth who probably deserves the spot though he might hold a grudge
>some other guy in Neloth's tower who might be just weird enough in the head to become a pawn
>or some fuckoff lady I've never heard about
>check guy in Neloth's tower
>stark-raving mad, not an option
>guess it's the Mouth then
>doesn't fucking want the spot
>fucking shit fine who is this other lady
>some snowflake is both dunmer and altmer and also super beautiful or some garbage
>go visit her
>it's fucking Vivec
>no choice but to make her councilor
>very next quest is to go and explore original character's amazing and mysterious background
What's the deal with the Mages Guild? I'm the Arch-Mage of that place. If the guild is causing telvanni trouble, I can change that shit to suit my needs. Eradicating it just takes power and authority away from me, why would I even want to do that. It would also happen to cost me 25k in bribes which I'd much rather spend on my tower and other bribes.
Also the morrowind guide on the site links to ROTH v1.2beta. The newest version is 1.52.
ROHT and Uvirith's Legacy are both ruined by pointless Mary Sue characters to the point where I just straight up don't use the former and ignore half the quests in the latter. Hopefully if Tamriel Rebuilt is ever finished they'll give us an interesting enough Telvanni questline to replace it.
I have considered your Advice and decided that
Yeah, I tried adding things to the "custom" races but for some reason they always end up looking different than their base counterparts (different skin tints with the same values, neck being half as short etc). But i guess those races will be the solution. I just have to figure out how to apply the textures properly.
I'm relatively positive this is it.
That's odd. I don't have too much experience with it since I'm lazy and didn't care to add all my stuff to one custom race, but it should work just the same as the vanilla races.
Rebuilding your Bashed Patch should make it automatically detect which ones can be merged.
You should get the OBSE plugin Trifle if you don't have it already btw, it changes the max esp limit of 255 to only 255 ACTIVATED esps instead of just any esp in your load order.
>Why don't these come as one big esp?
Can you even fucking imagine how much work that would be to make a single .esp for every fucking possible combination of compatibility patches?
Are you dense? Do you even have half those mods to even need those patches?
I play Breton 95% of the time and just add elf ears sooo
Thank you very much!
Apparently I had two fucking ul patch compilations which makes no fucking sense because they were different.
I saw the one that had no esps activated, assumed I missed it and that was why everything was fucked up and reinstalled it.
I had one already activated and I have no clue what the fuck is wrong with my game.
shit. Who is UL's mary sue? So far the mod is great, really like the tower. There's that apprentice, maybe, but I don't give a shit about him.
There was also some feature with ROHT where I got a crystal in my chambers that let me speak with my Mouth remotely. On updating to 1.52 it was gone, which is a huge damn shame because I love that shit. Anyone know if I get it back or if it moved anywhere?
i know LGNPC gets shit on a lot here but i have fond memories of my House Redoran playthrough thanks to it. sucks Telvanni and Hlaalu never got fully LGNPC'd. Hlaalu especially is bland as hell.
It should be just a drag-and-drop into the race's texture folder even if the skin texture has subfolders, right ? Sounds simple and for some reason it never looks the same. In any case thanks for the advice!
N'tashra or whatever her name is. Not really a Mary Sue in the proper sense but she's a shitty character that shouldn't have been added. My advice is to ignore the statue in that vault with the ceremonial dining set. Aside from it not being a very good questline it's also buggy and just not worth wasting time on. As for the crystal I have no idea, I don't remember getting one. If you have the patience to wrestle with Morrowind's CS you can try opening the mod with it to find the crystal's ID then all it via the console.
Does LGNPC get shit on a lot? I feel like the few Morrowind players left here would all consider it a must-have mod for livening up the world a lot. And I doubt even they could have saved Hlaalu from being boring. When you're competing with the Redoran and Telvanni for attention you're going to lose out.
most of the time when i've seen LGNPC mentioned in this thread it's usually accompanied by a screenshot with cringe worthy dialogue.
Hlaalu could have been really interesting with politicking and backstabbing to climb the ranks, but the only thing i remember now is getting naked for Uncle Crassius.
I'm transferring everything a female character needs meshes, skeleton and textures.
With the textures I'd only need to overwrite the femalebody, femalehand and so on ? Because for example SG has folders like impreialfemale, bretonfemale etc. I don't need anything from those for the corresponding races ?
Oh yeah, there's cringey dialogue but I don't mind it at all. I think Morrowind handles cheesy stuff a bit better than Oblivion and Skyrim because it's usually not possible to accompany it with awful voice acting and most players aren't looking for random sex stuff to go along with it. As a whole LGNPC may not have been finished but I reckon most people would agree that it's overall an excellent mod that counters some of Morrowind's shortcomings and adds a lot to your game.
>There will never be a mod that adds Nehrim's leveling system into normal Oblivion
Okay, so my UL shit was fine to begin with I'm just retarded, but I can't figure out why my cities are fucked up.
Nothing I have but open cities would fuck it up, and I don't know how to figure out what mod is placing stuff where.
what city mods you're using?
Anyone that isn't a child who can appreciate subtlety will tell you that Better Cities goes full retard and makes every city a laggy clusterfuck that no modern PC can even run without slowdown, filled with things like tons of uninteresting, unvoiced NPCs (except for one LOLXD SO RANDOM Khajiit in Anvil that does a Chewbacca roar) that do nothing but lag the game even further as well as really shitty Skyrim-tier fetch quests and so on.
It runs good for me and I like the npcs and quests it adds. It makes my playthrougsh longer.
>I don't like thing
Good for you but you shouldn't be so autistic.
Only if you install it wrong.
Can all you idiots stop shitflinging for a moment and just realize that Open Cities Classic is the best city mod for Oblivion, solely because it doesn't conflict with Immersive Interiors?
>I like the npcs and quests it adds. It makes my playthrougsh longer.
Sorry about your incredibly low standards but quality>quantity.
>it works fine on my pc lol :^)
Make a webm of you running around BC Bravil without slowdown. You don't own a NASA computer so you can't prove me wrong.
There are no mods that add quality npcs and quests en masse so that is a null point.
I don't have the game installed but Bravil runs better than most of the other cities. Besides, you get slowdown even in vanilla when you enter cities.
Now I understand the autism.
I think this is a good time to post this webm.
Open Cities a shit.
Ew... What's wrong with people and words?
Is the leveling in oblivion really that bad?
Only my first playthrough and it's vanilla aside from patches and a grass optimization, and I'm level 32 or something because I've been going in every cave I see, picking every house and chest I can, using speechraft and heal every time I can.
Only done a few guild quests but done quite a few misc quests, but haven't gotten to kvatch yet.
What's the problem with the leveling?
Make a webm of you running around BC Bravil without slowdown. You don't own a NASA computer so you can't prove me wrong.
Better Cities is a pile of unoptimized garbage and will always be a pile of unoptimized garbage until the end of time no matter how hard you keep shilling for it.
The vanilla system encourages minmaxing rather than roleplaying. I suggest Realistic Leveling for a smoother and more immersive experience.
Why the would would I do that for something who is so mad over nothing? Better Cities is a good mod and Oblivion runs with slowdown everywhere.
>shilling for a mod
You have a mental issue.
Oblivion posters argue like retards
>Open Cities debates
>OCO1 vs OCO2 debates
And I thought waifu posters were terrible.
The only problem with levelling is the level scaling which is fixed by many overhaul mods. The problem is that eventually every bandit will be wearing the top gear which is stupid.
At least we talk about the game instead of 'post butts xdd im so alone'
>"Why would I admit I'm wrong when I can keep shitposting and denying it with my maximum damage control?"
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Oh yeah, I've come across that.
Fucking bandit robbing me on the road in full glass, instead of selling that shit and living like a prince.
Or living in some broken castle in fucking daedric instead of living like a literal king.
>Why the would would I do that for something who is so mad over nothing? Better Cities is a good mod and Oblivion runs with slowdown everywhere.
>completely ignored this and shitposted
At least you admit you're a retard. Thanks for wasting me time.
I sure fucking hope no one bought TESO from the Steam Sale.
>BTFO all of you in skyrim
>in a one player game
>Yeah it is pretty funny when izzy's blood pressure gets this high.
He's not here. All someone has to do when you're around is say "x mod is shit" and you'll write up paragraphs calling everyone Izzy.
You're a fucking autist who is easily upset and then you resort to shitposting.
They did, but it's fucking nothing compared to skyrim.
>there are no closed face helmet mods for beast races
>despite them being just as popular as most other races
>the only mod out there that has all helmets for beast races ruins them for everyone else by making all helmets open faced
>>the only mod out there that has all helmets for beast races ruins them for everyone else by making all helmets open faced
how is that a problem? open faced helmets of awesome
Only if your ENB requires it.
>despite them being just as popular as most other races
People who are just getting PCs or see some pic of a modded Skyrim and want in on that.
>despite them being just as popular as most other races
/tesg/'s resident dedicated autistic shitposter. You know how /dsg/ has that autist who spams shit about the Four Kings boss every single day for at least 100+ posts in every thread? Izzy is like our version of that.
>>just reprogram it!
oh its you
Yeah, man. Why was that starting dungeon so hard anyways?
Took me forever to get past that puzzle door, couldn't find any clues anywhere so I just had to randomly try combinations. I fucking hate when developers do that shit.
Any idea what might cause this? Happens with all mods disabled.
I'm honestly worried about the inevitable TESVI
What will Bethesda dumb down now, are they gonna cut the beast races and mer and only have voice acted races of men? Are they gonna cut down more skills and make more perk tree bullshit?
>all of a sudden fps drops from 80 to 3.3 out of nowhere
>loading all previous saves gives the same 3.3 fps
I know it has something to do with my ENB but I have no idea what it is. Anyone else have this issue?
When I say fps drop out of nowhere I really mean out of nowhere. I was standing still in a cave while I was checking a message on my phone and with the blink of an eye the fps plummets.
Wondering if anyone else experienced this.
you can only play as a male nord
your character is pre-made
the entire plot has no choices
you get a black transgender assigned female friend, your love interest
you have to go the good route
What they'll do is simple: They will go to E3 and scream, "LOOK EVERYONE WE MADE THE TESVI EVERYONE WANTED!" They will show a long, pre-rendered CGI that gets everyone hyped, then they won't say a goddamn word until it's released.
And when it is, it'll be Fisher Price with swords.
>No furries or elves
Finally a form of casualisation I can support.
Did you accidentally turn on the FPS limiter? Iirc there's an issue with the latest version of ENB where the frame limiter dicks on your frames completely like that
>not expecting the next elder scrolls to be amazing
>tfw i turned on some option that said "Brute Force" on accident
>my FPS dipped to 2
>unchecking the box took forever.
Yeah Brute Force is pretty crazy, Boris even said it can make your GPU explode
>Be careful with it, low quality videocards or overclocked can be corrupted.
>old school pointy wizard hat
because the dragon is a nord man, baby
TESVI will be HTC vive compatible.
Entire world map will be the size of Solitude because you have to walk the distance in real life and Amerifats will get exhausted running too far.
So what house mods do you guys use?
Looking for some at the moment. I kinda don't want anything that has too much stuff in it.
Define too much stuff. Do you not want a lot of shit that can get knocked around? Are you not a fan of static clutter? Are you looking for something with rather open floor space?
You looking for a replacement for that Whiterun Mansion, or was that just something Mord gave him?
Undeath, Corpse Preparation and Undead FX so your raised zombies look cool
If they start working on it in 2016, maybe it will be out in 2020.
Hopefully there will be a new generation of console hardware by then...PS4 and XB1 at launch (2013) were nowhere near as technically impressive compared to PC like PS3 and 360 were in their own era (2006)
So if TES 6 targets new consoles, and Beth upgrades their shit, we get a better modding platform and that's 50% of what I care about anymore. They must be feeling pressure to do technical and engine upgrades because there was definitely not a lot of praise for Fallout 4 graphics or animations from any sources. It felt like Skyrim went way above and beyond Oblivion despite being on the same consoles, whereas Fallout 4 goes +1 gen up and what do we get?? God ray, facial animation, spooky smoke?
As for their entire philosophy for Fallout 4, by which I mean further simplification of core RPG gameplay mechanics and dialogue, I think they went the wrong way completely. Nobody spends hundreds of hours playing this games because of the main quest.
Instead of further improving something they were always known to be good at (world), they take something they were always known to be bad at (story) and force all other systems to bow to their attempt to make story better. Fucking two word meme dialogue.
Of course, this makes sense if they prioritize accessibility for new money (new players) instead of keeping their hardcore crowd (1000+ hours people) happy. Masses love cheap shitty simple short stories with memorable characters. Well in any case Todd lost all his goty's to Witcher 3 so I hope this forces him to re-evaluate and try harder their next game.
I'm sorta looking for small huts/houses that I could use. When I mean "a lot of stuff" I really meant a lot of open, unused space. A good example of too much open space would be the Hearthfire House.
Dunno about that one.
Yo so I installed some mods for oblivion and I got all of them working except for Better Cities. When I try to create the omod, it gives me an unhandled exception error thing. I looked on the website and it says I should be using TES mod manager instead of Oblivion mod manager. If I switch to TES, will it fuck my other mods up? Is better cities worth potentially fucking my shit up?
I'm really loving http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72138/?
Tiny Little Living is never a bad choice, as well.
lol that was just some random test I did. Just play around with the bokeh settings.
Inigo, a purple Khajiit follower which tons of dialogue to listen to. Also comes with his own quest.
Although he has a very monotone voice.
You could also try out the NPCs in 3DNPCs but the filesize is 2GB+
I decided to not fuck with the wrye bash stuff so I'm only using a couple of big mods, most of which I just installed manually. I'm just using OMOD for stuff that requires it. But if Better cities isn't a huge deal, I'm p happy with what I have
Erik the Slayer a best vanilla.
Anyone played this yet?
Where abouts on the map is it?
but she's just having fun anon ;-;
its just a prank
so I uninstalled open cities because I could not get it to stop fucking up my towns
is it worth trying to make it work because I want to play oblivion
>Ewa will never pounce a patient khajiit's tail as it flicks at the back of a chair
>he/she will never give a slow, angry stare as she pulls his/her ears
>Ewa will never pull out a whisker and get a good lecturing from Ilx
I-is that a teenage mutant ninja Ewa?
>got to choose one race
>only one perk tree for the entire class, a la License Board in FFXII
>railroaded main quest
>a few small side quests
>basically, FFXII with TES lore
>constant references to the Dragonborn and Alduin
the camera's right there bro
she might if I can find a cool khajiit to do it to
nah shes still got a few years to go before she becomes a teenage ninja turtle
Ilx is a busy person anon, she can't babysit her all the time
different =/= casualized
Bethesda added item degradation to Fallout and then removed it in Fallout 4 because it didn't work as well as they wanted, and they changed power armor from two pieces to 6 attached to a suit that needs a supply of batteries to run in, they have made it a point that they want to always try something new with TES/Fallout.
It's pretty obvious many things did not work out for the best in Skyrim, these things will be changed come TESVI, and on top of that much of the "casualized" stuff in skyrim comes from it being their most rushed game to date. TESVI will be much better.
There is a lot of negative speculation based on previous Bethesda games about Fo4 that didn't come true, just because something "might happen" doesn't mean it "will happen"
Is there a contemporary waifu primer floating around
You mock me now, but I have history on my side
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it, such is the path you choose, such is the path you will always fall down until you choose otherwise.
Just post images if your character, that's a sure way to get some hate going.
I'll get Bloodborne at any rate. It looks fun.
I've had a PS4 and no Bloodborne. Honestly, I think my friends talked me into wasting money (I would've gotten one eventually but didn't need it now).
Just came back to the game
wants me to reset my skills.
Have no idea whats worth a fuck now.
I want to make Skyrim Alice a vampire so she's more like Oblivion Alice but being a vampire in Skyrim kinda sucks.
Especially so with dark nights and being gimped at any time other than night.
>but being a vampire in Skyrim kinda sucks.
It's not so bad with mods. Better Vampires makes it pretty fun, you can make it so you're not too gimped during the day, and you can also get Predator Vision so seeing things at night is easier
I'd rather it was like Oblivion where you burn in sunlight and had to cover yourself in robes to not be hurt by it.
That and the mod where if you killed a vampire with a silver weapon in Oblivion they'd burst into flames and leave behind nothing but a skeleton. That was such a cool mod.
I'll give Better Vampires another look though.
Also I'd rather not have to have the ugly vampire lord thing forced on me but that seems to be inescapable as a Skyrim vampire. I know I can just not use it but I still would rather it not even be a thing at all, or be an optional thing in regards to acquiring it.
Not knocking Nosferatu style vampires but that's not how I envision my character.
I wish I could remember the name. It was many many years ago since I played Oblivion, let alone had it installed on my PC with mods.
Hopefully somebody else here has a better memory than I do and can tell you. There's a chance it isn't on the nexus anymore too though.
>where you burn in sunlight and had to cover yourself in robes to not be hurt by it.
I'm not really sure but I think you might be able to get that with Better Vampires too
>if you killed a vampire with a silver weapon in Oblivion they'd burst into flames and leave behind nothing but a skeleton.
There's a mod for that in Skyrim too, but it's been a while since it's been updated so I don't know how well it works now
You could get rid of it, you don't really have to use it. You could use console commands, or get your Vampirism cured after finishing the Dawnguard quest line, and then go find a random vampire to hit you and become a vampire again, cause you only get Vampire Lord if Harkon or Serana turns you into a vampire
Changing Yennefer into a High Elf/Altmer
Planning to do this, strap a couple cardboard wings to it and see how far it can fly.
protip that's not a pulsejet, it's just a rocket
Souls Quick Menu updated. No more error message and position doesn't reset anymore.
Eating paked bodato and being entirely too satisfied with myself for the training montage I made earlier.
>all this oblivion posting
>turned into shitflinging
>and justasplanned no effort trolling from my perspective
Cool idea but that's so intrusive.
So i recently started to play TESO and it's my first elder scrolls game.
i'm an argonian templar and plan to be a pve healer but until now i still don't now which weapon(s) to use, which kind of armor to wear nor do i know which skills i need and also not which morphs to choose.
i can't find a proper guide either
also being able to only have 5 skills simultaneously in your bar is pretty frustrating
Prepare to be disappointed at "healing" in this game. Heal spells are auto-targeted after you pick the AoE location. And, resource management (magicka/stamina) becomes a joke at the end.
Using a healing staff + whatever the fuck you want for leveling.
ya picked the best Elder scrolls to start with mate. ANd i have great news. what weapons you use and what armor you use is completley up to you even though ur certian class will have bonuses to one type of armor like a nightblade gets better boosts from Medium armor but mine wears heavy still. ESO has always been the better One in the series for quite some time now. Skyrim was great but its just meh now, Looking forward to seeing you in cyrodiil buddy!
Morrowind > Oblivion? (haven't played it, but Skyrim casualized everything too much) > Skyrim
> Search Skyrim nexus for "Sunder"
> DID YOU MEAN TSUNDERE
NO I WANT THE GODDAMN HAMMER TO GO WITH KEENING YOU UGLY SHITSTICK
any TES game is fine to start with, it leads you to play other TES games
I started with skyrim which lead to playing morrowind and oblivion, I plan to play TESO and daggerfall next
>haven't played Skyrim in the past year because work
>updating my mods
>some of my mods were abandoned or outright replaced
>if I don't use performance mods my toaster will explode
>mfw having to download massive mods on Mexican internet
>tfw you've done this so many times you're in place before any of the NPCs are
Any mod that adds multiple arms?
Looked everywhere and couldn't find anything of the sort.
I want to become a god.
My grass is not fading in properly but rather being loaded in in big chunks all at once.
I looked it up and it was said that if your grass settings were above 7000 that happened. Mine aren't above 7000.
Anyone know any other potential reasons this might happen?
It wasn't happening before it just started out of nowhere.
hello children enjoy this k-hole noise
complete with Wraithguard so you can actually hold it
and what if I don't want the rest of morrowloot
Meh, its the Dungeons that really kill it for me. Once you have seen one, you have seen them all. Its not a bad game, It just doesnt draw me in like Skyirm or Morrowind did for a large number of reasons
Depends on the location, check the mod's ini. There should be some setting there regarding that.
I don't understand how Skyrim could draw you in more than Oblivion could, but that's your problem.
Oblivion's dungeons fall into that weird space between MW and the implementation of occlusion culling with fo3. Assets that have a higher demand than the ones in MW, but you can't make areas too cluttered or the interior cell on the whole will be a laggy mess.
I've heard people here asking about combat evolved here once or twice before. I just ditched it, so I thought I'd make a post here about my experience with it, since I thought the mod's description wasn't very clear. I'm using Duel with it at the moment because UC is broken with FNIS 6. At least tktk1's getting to it now. I REALLY like UC more.
>Poison isn't a joke with this mod. You WILL die when the DoT stacks, especially to large spiders, chaurus, and falmer.
>Armor is weaker. Skyre does this too, but nobody uses that any more and I'm not familiar with PerMa.
>Enemy magic does more damage. Bring resistance potions vs. shock. Dodging the others is helpful with this mod rather than an afterthought without it.
To be continued. My comments are too long for one post.
>go up against Drauger lords
>actually fearing for my save file for once because the Draugers do damage
>enjoying a new mod
>find it out breaks one thing you really want/care about
>have to remove the mod
What mod is that for you, /tesg/?
For me it's Automatic Lock Picking breaking The Whispering Door
Explain why without just a statement though.
Your opinions aren't fact either, don't spout 'objectively' like it means anything.
How does it do things worse than Skyrim, for example?
If you like a challenge, then try UC's hardcore damage option when the author fixes it. Duel roughly doubles damage given/taken from vanilla from what I can see. UC hardcore damage is even steeper. More on combat evolved:
>Enemies can paralyze you. I hated this in the older games, but it DOES make cure paralysis potions have a use.
>In melee, enemies have clearly defined roles. People with shields turtle slowly toward you, never lowering them. Anybody without one will charge, attempt to surround, and constantly attack you. I hope you like crowd control. Bring a follower. Two isn't overkill.
>High level draugr have shouts. Revenge of the Enemies has this too, but it's not as bad in CE. They ONLY get disarm, instead of the other mod's instakill fire and ice breath. Weapons can still fall through floors, though, and that's ultimately why I don't use this mod any more.
Nearly every gameplay subsystem is terrible :
>Alchemy is awful
>Speech minigame is retarded
>Welkynd / Varla stones are more a chore than a good idea, and so on.
Plus, tons of other shit are lame as fuck :
>Design is super bland. It's generic medieval fantasy with tons of bloom on shiny minotaurs, goblins and licorn. Its fucking miles away of every description of Cyrodiil made before.
>People are fucking ugly, charadesign is shit
>Animation are shit, and were shit, even for the time
>Graphics aged like milk.
>Leveling lists are worse than Skyrim's, and that's something.
>Shit on the lore pretty badly, and the fact that Imperial Legion becomes medieval knights instead of Roman-like alone is sufficient to shit on the game
Plenty of things are pretty bad :
>Main quest writing
>GPS and quest indicators
>Become the great master of every guild within 2 hours and without any skills. Become Archmage without knowing a single spell! Horray!
then get Moon and Star, it has replicas of both that uses the same model
ya got some shit taste though not liking morrowloot
Funny how oblivionbabies always shit on Skyrim quests and how they baby-hold your over them, while completely ignoring that quest markers were the oblivion invention.
Talk about nostalgia goggles.

Alchemy is great, what are you on about?
The Speech minigame is lame, sure, but you aren't forced to use it thanks to either Charm spells, Fortify Personality/Speechcraft enchantments, or bribery. At least it adds an alternate option to persuasion unlike in Skyrim where it's (Intimidate) or (Persuade) and that's it.
How are Ayleid stones a chore? I don't get what you mean. Shooting down Welkynd stones is fun, they sell for a good bit of money, and they're a godsend for Atronach characters.
"miles away of every description of Cyrodiil" is just wrong. It was described as a jungle, yes, but not a tropical jungle as seen in fanart. Jungle can mean any densely wooded area, so blame consoles for the lack of tree density.
You seem to be implying that vanilla graphics/animations/etc are better in Skyrim or Morrowind when they clearly aren't. Because you can fix Oblivion's visual problems with mods like in the other games, this is a moot point.
The aggressive level scaling is fixed by mods.
I don't get why people say that the lore is "ruined" because the Legion doesn't wear roman helmets and tower shields or something. It's not a big problem, you don't see me shitting on Skyrim for not having Sky Whales either.
The main quest was great, what the hell are you on about? Not being the chosen one for once was quite interesting.
You can disable quest markers and rely on your journal for directions like in Morrowind, unlike in Skyrim where you NEED the marker because quest descriptions are nil.
That last point is literally false. Unless you exploit or glitch in some metagamey way, you can't progress through the mage's guild without knowing spells.
OOO and Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul (MOO) are all you need. FCOM is a clusterfuck, don't even bother.
