The Aen Seidhe decided to leave and start a new in a different world while the Aen Elle stayed in their world that they recently conquered and enslaved the human population. Not all of humanity acted this way to them as the humans in the south instead of forcefully destroying their civilization incorporated it into their own. The Aen Seidhe fled to the edges of the world as went from the superior ace to the persecuted one who just saw their civilization crumble into nothing and they became bitter and angry. Meanwhile the Aen Elle was doing just fine on there world except they had to stop being world conquers and their empire stopped growing due to them losing the power to invade other worlds in large forces. They only had the power to send a force such as the wild hunt through but that was it. They did still mange to get slave labor but it was nowhere near how many they used to get. They planned to use the elder blood to open the gates again and to invade the Witcher planet and to also rescue the Aen Seidhe from the white frost which they found about at one point was going to destroy the witcher planet. At some point in the future in the books we know that the gates are opened by Ciri's child and the Aen Seidhe flee the planet and take all their art and belongings with them. All of this info comes from the books.

Because their feelings don't go from the djinn's wish. The wish was to simply tie their destines together just like how Geralt's is tied with Ciri's, it was never about love. Geralt and Yen legitimately love each other without the wish but they always had issues of being together due to immaturity and issues that came from their childhood. Geralt had problems expressing himself and staying committed to something due to being raised as a Witcher, Yen was too distant and cold due to the shell she formed to cope and prevent anymore traumatic experiences from happening to her. They matured as people and raising Ciri who was that something more fixed the rest of their issues and allowed for them to have a stable relationship that they longed for but couldn't have. Yen and Geralt are pretty similar as people and she is in a lot of ways like Geralt while still also being different. The wish had nothing to do with their feelings.

Hey, just played through HoS and I have no idea at this point where the gold for the runewright is meant to come from. I've got him the first level, have 12,000 which can be spent on the second, but the third costs 15,000 and I've done all the quests.

If you've done all the main quests, side quests, contracts, treasure hunts, and question marks then yes, you're done. You'll either have to do more stuff from the base game that offers XP if you haven't already done everything or you'll just have to wait for BaW.
