Happy new years to us.
Can't wait until they start talking endlessly about carnival starting tomorrow on tv, including all the ads telling people to not fuck like animals and to stop shitting on the streets.
Reminder that 2016 will be a wonderful year and everything is going to be fine.

Tree of Savior would be better if it had generic anime art. Maggi is great, but the portraits in this game really aren't nice to look at, with a few exceptions.
At the very least, I wish she'd give them normal eyes.
I play MMOs for the PvP. The game needs some PvP oriented gear, like freeze/stun resist sets.
I like Maggi's art when the characters have normal eyes.
I would love to see some zones with open PvP/PKing. I prefer chaotic to organised PvP in MMOs.
Do you think we'll get database'd in 2016?
As a potential guild leader, I am also looking forward to GvG, but idle PvP with randoms has always been the best for me in MMOs. Even if you have to pay for consumables and repair costs out of your own pocket, the feeling of wiping out multiple opponents by yourself, or with one or two friends by your side, feels the best.
More times than I can count, I would just casually enter PvP in RO, find a bunch of people I didn't like from an enemy faction, and get into huge squirmishes for several hours. At the end, after they stoped coming back, I would realize my shirt was sticking to my back with sweat, and the day was almost over in a blink of an eye.
GvG modes are great, but small chaotic PvP is the ultimate endgame content for me.
I like Maggi's art, being an artist too it's great to see a new style outside of standard anime.
Redjuice, Dragons Crown, SongJiKyo are some examples that break the norm of anime style art. Namely a different shading style, line art style or even just pure paint.
About anatomy and perspective, we're taught it correctly and then we learn to break the rules. We break the rules purely to capture the audiences attention, leading the eye to where we want the audience to spend the most time looking
Maggi's eyes are a topic brought up the most, but I think for her she's trying to make us look at them. To me viewing her art with the perspective of reality will always be wrong, but viewed with the perspective of fantasy and otherworldish its a different story.
Yes, I am putting points into SPR for this purpose, along with block penetration, but it's just not enough.
When you have skills that cast debuffs every hit at 100% chance, you need more resist than just what SPR can provide.
Putting points into SPR gives you a chance to resist debuffs, with diminishing returns. What I am talking about is having % resists on equipment, that would complement SPR resist.
Getting immunity to a debuff should be possible, but being immune to multiple debuffs should not. Or they should come at a very high price.
Alternatively, if Magic Resist helped against debuffs, that would be great as well.
Dispellers don't work in PvP arenas. We've been over this. Not to mention, some skills will instantly consume a huge pile of them.
It's been said on those threads dozens of times. If they really do work in PvP arena, and future PvP/GvG scenarios, then that helps a lot.
Still, SPR will resist quite a few things which dispellers do not, so it's still worth getting some.
There hasn't been many tests regarding this, but the few tests I've seen and read about seem to point towards this.
What am I seeing here?
I see a corpse that can't be affected by debuffs anyway, so there's no way to tell if the dispellers are actually working. The post was in reply to "yes they do" which implies it was saying dispellers don't work, a theory supported by the fact that the pictured player is dead.
Calling out on the Reddit boogeyman everytime someone disagrees with you doesn't make you seem like the most intelligent poster. Please correct yourself.
I am the one who made that post, actually. I didn't speak to the people who were doing the testing, but I did pay attention to everything. They tested this by having one guy reset into different values of SPR, and then trying to inflict status debuffs upon him. The numbers are as you see on that post, about 50% resist at 100 SPR.
Being active and working are different things. It's weird that nobody objectived to Dispellers working in PvP arena up until now.
Burned out at 83 with 150 lv4 exp cards.
I'm just taking it easy.
Eating pasta and shit.
Can you be used as a human dildo by a sexually experienced Peltasta's onee-san in this game?
Asking for a friend.
No, those are Sorceress. Peltastas are the ones who will casually invite you to have bareback behind a bush to celebrate your levelling up.
I know someone who wants to know if you can be a cute shota Revelator and get dragged behind a bush, pumped dry and dumped by aggressive ovulating Peltastas in this game.
Would you recommend this game to that individual?
Why are you still encouraging this "SPR resists debuffs/CC" meme?
There is not a single documented test on our generals, forums, youtube, inven or even reddit. I don't know whether this is true or not, but keeping on posting this meme without any actual evidence is pretty much the same as "talking out of your ass", as the other anon said.
Even if it is true, not providing any meaningful information rather than "100 SPR is around 50%" (which to me, seems pretty stupid considering how everything else in the game works), only keeps on making the meme more retarded.
Either provide clear evidence of your claims, or please stop spreading information that you cannot back up.
If you want actual formulas, you're late. Should've done that in iCBT2. Now there are no longer cheap resets to test thing.
If you really want confirmation, try applying CCs to a high SPR Cleric or something. You'll notice he will resist quite frequently, unlike a no-SPR player such as an Archer or a Swordsman.
I don't know if you are playing cleric, but aren't you spending points into SPR already anyways? You could easily compare your character with SPR against another one of the same class and provide this meme with the necessary evidence it needs.
Now that I think about it, pending my New Years spamming my lewd headcanons of classes in a cutesy korean anime autism game on a Babylonian war strategy imageboard is probably the reason I'm single right now.
That and the 543694634 other reasons.
Then it could be only for the cleric class, which then only makes stronger the argument to provide evidence for this meme instead of spreading information that could be false or not. I really expect more out of the people in this general, and not be like other places where people make claims without any actual evidence, and that is how all those memes started.
By the way, the characters I had over 5,000 SPR on were Swordsman and Archer.
Quite a few people with exploited stats claimed to not notice the resist on their characters, while people who tested with sensible stats said they noticed a difference.
Perhaps the enemy's INT can counter-resist CCs? Alternatively, perhaps it's not SPR itself, but rather Magic Defense that does the trick? I doubt Clerics have a hidden property for resisting CCs, but the fact is that high SPR targets are known to resist more.
People who use exploited stats to support any kind of argument make me chuckle every time.
It's like they don't know how going out of the expected bounds for stat values can cause overflows and shit up any kind of calculation the game uses. Didn't they even pay attention to how their HP, SP, Attack and other stats had some sudden unexpected increase after a certain base stat threshold?
They think data collected with exploited characters is relevant. Hah.
I've already tested it in in iCBT2. I can't provide the evidence since I didn't think it was necessary to record it at that time. I tested it by Life Lining high SPR characters to myself.
But anyway, the more SPR you have, the less likely the enemy will resist you. And the more SPR the enemy has, the more likely the enemy will resist you.
At low SPR, I almost always slept, but as I approached about 200+, I resisted it often.
I thought you guys were saying reflect shield prevented you from getting interrupted.
To be fair, that anon has a point. No one in the thread has provided any tangible proof to their claims, besides their word.
So both sides of the argument are equally doubtful.
Wouldn't that just favor my argument that we need gear to resist cc/debuffs?
Some classes would be at a huge disadvantage if only spr helps, and it is not even 100% guaranteed that they will resist it, so their build will be a lot weaker due to all those wasted points into spr (and as far as I understand, spr doesn't lowers the duration of the cc either).
Oh, don't worry, even though I tested that SPR increases CC resist, I'm not disputing that it is a useless stat. Things like Prophecy, dispellers, Plague Doctors and other stuff exist for that already, so SPR is irrelevant. It's still necessary to invest into CON and other important stats.
I want to go musketeer and I have important questions.
Are Swift Step and Kneeling Shot worth anything or is it better to grab Quarrel Shooter in R2 for the pavise and cute costume?
Does a pavise block melee or magic as well? I heard from some people that it blocked melee contrary to what the description said.
Is being a sneaky crit sniper with scout a thing I could do, or should I leave that to the rogues?
Do archers get bullied a lot?
That's an interesting confirmation. So SPR CC chance takes account both the target and the caster's SPR to calculate.
That gives you quite a good chance against stuff like Cataphract's Impaler, since Catas don't use SPR at all.
I am putting SPR on my swordsman. Will provide data when I have enough to test with.
This is probably where debuff levels come in. Higher level debuffs should be harder to resist?
>That gives you quite a good chance against stuff like Cataphract's Impaler, since Catas don't use SPR at all.
For now. If that is how spr and cc works, then everyone will just put points into it for pvp, and in the end no one wins but classes that benefit from having spr as everyone else will have much weaker builds in comparison.
I'm thinking of unironically going Pyro 1 > Wiz 3 > Ele 3
Someone convince me I'm retarded please
At leats we can fool ourselves saying it's for the sake of Block Penetration as well or something.
I am going to make mine with Quarrel Shooter. I almost never remember to activate Swift Step, so having Pavise and caltrops feel more useful.
During icbt2 I actually tried running with a lot of spr on my cata for block penetration, since I was dueling a bunch of other swordies at fedi (and catas get the increase to block pen from the attribute anyways).
If I remember correctly, I was running with 50 dex, 50 str, 110~ spr and the rest on con (with max petamion). It did help a little bit when they were manually blocking, but in the end they could still block most of my attacks anyways. And the swordies who were using a lot of con with aias for dueling, also blocked a lot without holding c.
I wish I knew about cc resist back then, otherwise I would have tested it. But even with that much spr, I didn't notice any change when dueling cryos as they would freeze me all the time. This was also the case against that druid (forgot her name) that was always on fedi dueling people, she used the mind control thing to move me into the grass aoe, and that I am sure happened 100% of the time (pretty hilarious that something like that exists on pvp).
>Are Swift Step and Kneeling Shot worth anything or is it better to grab Quarrel Shooter in R2 for the pavise and cute costume?
Swift Step's additional crit rate is good; Kneeling Shot, not too much in my opinion. Though with Pavise's buff, I'd rather go QS instead of picking up Archer2. Also spats.
>Does a pavise block melee or magic as well? I heard from some people that it blocked melee contrary to what the description said.
It should since it basically aggros enemies towards it, sort of like Swashbuckling does to an extent.
>Is being a sneaky crit sniper with scout a thing I could do, or should I leave that to the rogues?
Its an alright option to take as far as I know. Go ahead.
>Do archers get bullied a lot?
Eh, not as bad compared to back then.
I tried anon, I tried.
No matter what I did, I couldn't deal with that druid mind control thing + magic aoe + safety zone + heal + whatever else she had. The only time I won was when she was playing around and messed up.
Are druid skills all Earth Element damage? With a specific set, you might be able to live long enough to survive, and once she's on her cooldowns, you can easily kill her.
If they fix the issue of being able to run around and jump making you nearly invulnerable, at least. Just save your Impale for when she tries to heal, and then step on all the heal circles so she can't use them, even if you are to take damage.
>all 3 of the games i've been playing for the past ~3 years are run by companies I unequivocally hate
nothing in particular, they're just shit. The fact that splashing and nmz took so long to 'fix' (aka: remove glaringly broken content that is obviously ruining the game every minute of every day) forever took away my faith in them.
also they're releasing a new continent (50% of current map size) with ZERO new quests next week
Nasra might still defend me for all I know, I dunno.
I tried to talk someone who was talking as if maybe they were going to into talking to me about it, that is about all though.
>run 130 Dungeon 10 times today
>also steal 2 Cubes from crashed Koreans
well at least some food for lolipa
Senpaitachi I think I'm burning out.
White hair and chupa ears, or black hair and cat ears?
tehehe nice, thanks
blackcat >>127102265 >>127099030
a bit lame but still ok.
got bored of pink and each 2nd chink has pink hair now. so overused.
just get both?
what is a good way to do 100 crafts now? farming spiders sounds like shit and there not many (cheap) in market
I will now tell you how I used to earn silver.
1) roll a female cleric
2) come to any field boss
3) pretend to damage it
4) when boxes drop use this combo
5) receive likes and presents from gullible fools
>Nexon is going to ensure this game burns in hell and there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it
Got a psycho 3 for the 130 dungeon. Looks pretty good, all those cc and pp with ice wall and fireball is insane damage. Literally carried the whole team.
Who warmly waiting for IMC to get their shit together?
Extra tank is good on corsair.
You basically need to be on melee ranged auto attacking anyways.
And at late game that resist element will be a really good investment against those magic casters.
Same here, 130 dungeon drop, only seen it once.
If it's the last two announcements, then it's as follows:
- Notice about Quest mobs not giving exp, this is due to the fact that if you have to restart a quest (due to failure or abandoning) you will not gain any exp/drops from mobs which is working as intended.
- If there's a quest scenario where you can restart and get more exp/silver, then report it otherwise you could be sanctioned for bug exploitation.
- Chat servers and channel connection is intermittent right now, they're working on a fix.
>you will not gain any exp/drops
>working as intended
And another one.
Not even 20% for a mob that shouldn't be in XP penalty range.
It's correct. If you fail/abandon a quest scenario, the mobs won't drop any items or award any EXP. You'll still get the quest reward for completing it though.
This doesn't apply to quests in general, only scenarios which instance you. It's to combat redoing a quest over and over just for the mobs.
>not exp nerf range
The range is within 5 you raging faggot.
Also, for small mobs, the Overkill exp has always been the blue mob's best feature. Basically, you have a shit class that can't benefit from blue mobs and you're retarded.
I have swell body, which while not as good as max overkill, is a decent replacement.
And due to the party xp sharing changes, they also changed the penalty for higher mobs: https://forum.treeofsavior.com/t/kobt-general-thread-keep-all-in-game-discussion-here/125464/798
I'd like a more official source but it's all I can find at the moment.
Not him, but you're the one who is fucking retarded.
The range is within 5 is for mobs LOWER than you. The recent change was that although you will gain an exp penalty if you kill mobs 11 levels and above, you can share exp in party regardless of level.
Also what do you expect him to do since he is a class which can't overkill? Just abandon the mob? Even with overkill the exp is still shit at his level, which was the entire point anyway.
Just in general, I heard they were changing the stats it gave. Can I still go off the old awakening table? aka Scale Boots giving 49 INT, Arde Dagger giving 48 MATK, Grima Pants giving 45 Poison ATK, etc.
Is the blue hair achievement still broken?
I want to wear that terrible color again.
Why can't they do proper hair colors?
What are you smoking nigguh? Corsair is Swordy and Pally is Cleric also Pal3 is horrible. But as party members I would say a Priest2 would benefit the Corsair more as Blessing + Sacrament = more orgasmic multi-hit.
many koreans hate. they protest and riot and so
Hated Cash Shop doesn't mean that, worse models have managed to make a game subexist for years solely on people who dump mini-fortunes on the game.
What it does mean is the game longevity is doomed, unfortunately.
>Krivis really needs a buff
Is there even any buff worth using a skill to extend in the first place?
Daino is nothing.
Quite a lot of parties won't even need the extra buff slots if people can just not waste slots on their crappy, long since irrelevant buffs. Even when you have a specialized buff class with you, more than 5 points shouldn't ever really be necessary.
Compared to a resurrection spell, an automatic resurrection buff, and an AoE heal which is also the only heal you get outside of cleric, I really don't think any amount of crappy buffs can compare.
I kept telling everyone that beta rates weren't going to make it to release, and they would sell exp boosters to make the grind bearable, yet no one believed me and threw insults at me telling I didn't know shit about videogames or mmos or whatever.
If I only had a dollar for every reply saying I was crazy, maybe I could buy enough TP to get to cap before everyone kek.
Cleric2 > Krivis1 > ???? > Druid > Kabbalist
Original plan was Krivis3 but I'm not so sure anymore Zaibas alone can handle all the flying enemies. Should I go Sadhu2 instead? Never tried Sadhu
Probably asked often but SPR on wizard class?
Potions seem to be junk...
>Is there even any buff worth using a skill to extend in the first place?
Incinerate. That's really all I can think of and that's from one of the newest classes. Maybe it has PvP applications.
If you go past Wizard c1 at all, you're going Wizard 3 for Quick Cast without exception, and you'll probably have picked up Surecast along the way. If you're not going C3 Wizard, then yes move to pyro or cryo.
Not worth. Surecast is a good skill skill but not worth a single circle for this. You either go straight cryo/pyro or you go wiz 3 (for quickcast AND surecast) into something, wiz 2 is pure garbage.
And remember, Surecast protects your CASTING not your CHANNELING.
Why are my attacks so weak? What stats do I max? Not having fun
I've played enough Kino to know my shit, pipsqueak.
Now stop spreading your inaccurate bullshit.
fuck off, I don't want to be compared with used goods.
should be using pic related 2bh
>standard emotes don't have cute animations like these
Hello. Tree of Seychelles is empty.
The Emote of Poor Player now has Animation when use le Premium Token.
I wish the rest of the holiday Tree of years also empty, and fun and buy more TP faggots.
i do not have a account there. but oh look, some fag posted about it already
>Typically, his clothing consisted only of a loincloth (subligaculum) held in place by a wide belt, or of a short tunic with light padding.
this is getting p lewd and gay
They use some pretty unknown and interesting concepts for lore/classes, gotta give them that. I've never heard of this mergen thing, the wikipedia article itself has like one paragraph.
I almost want to run a meme build with Falconer, Mergen and Hakkapeliitta when the latter two are available
I wasn't involved in this argument, but here's PP being interrupted with reflect shield.
anyone up for party dungeons tomorrow?
On icbt2 it didnt have cast bar. Maybe now as a true channeling skill, it will get protected by surespell. But now Im wondering what hell breath looks like. Also, seems by the time iobt comes, most of our knowledge will become obsolete.
I haven't found a case where taking any damage doesn't interrupt. Since you still take 1 damage min with reflect shield, you're pretty much out of luck with it as a means to prevent interrupts.
That was the nerf to the skill. A heavy one. By the end of the iCBT 2, Reflect shield did nothing to spells with a cast bar but still helped with flinch, so you could Pressure under attack for some hits.
The PP nerf was kinda ridiculous since Psychokino itself is bad for pvm, now you really need the mobs to be FROZEN solid or sleep'd to PP from safety as kino 1 or you'll need to got a luck first hit stun with your C2 Kino PP with the Stun Attribute.
Icewall + PP got nerfed hard since you'll spamn shard for a maximum of 10 seconds now, and desu, it's kinda ok already, you don't need to level icewall past 8 now (enough for the make a square box and enough 'hit's to PP).
Other thing you need to care now while u PP wall is that you must avoid contact with the boss, since at iCBT the best scenario was a caged boss being hit py PP itself and 4 walls spitting shard since the shield would keep you dps'ing anyway. Now you'll need to care about the place of your walls and PP from afar. You can still cage melee the boss but you'll need to be lucky to not get hit (boss sometimes target the walls and SOME AoE spells from the boss can be tanked by the walls like a barrier.
Oh and PPing a boss nonstop with PP+Shield? Nah, not gonna happen. Not even as kino c2 since you can't stun bosses.
DESU that thing about the shield aways sounded 'wrong' but maybe, MAYBE they will give back the shield the anti-flinch effect for PP since PP cast is instant, but you need to hold a VERY COSTLY channeling at melee range, 30 sec cooldown spell, no overheat and almost no other dps skill coming from this circle.
t. Lv 200 hard working cryo c3 kino c1 linker c1 from iCBT 2. And i'm going to roll this build again when official release comes.
Maybe surespell still works, we need to test.
You are what?
Well I mean, I'd rather not pay if possible so I can put that money towards the guild instead. I'd rather just have a friend to play with, but I don't see that happening.
I was planning on being a healer but I need to know how much of a 'worthless loser NEET failure' you are first.
I'm looking for people like me so I'm only going for the genuine stuff here.
I feel safety wall is completely broken for a R1 skill.
All the boss fights in dungeons pretty much resolves in staying inside one and killing the boss with almost no risk of dying whatsoever, and you can do it for every cleric you have in your party.
Whole cleric tree is a set of bullshit skills compared to others.
>% based healing
>damage skills that scale with stat
>broken movespeed buffs
Int based character. Priest for Bless+Sac, Revive.
Krivis for Daino and Zaibas obviously. You will have easier times starting as Priest than Krivis, and Blessing boost multihit Zaibas later. Hexing reduces mdef and lets you spam Effigy as filler between Cure/Zaibas. Havent played Bokor, but got my autoattack Priest/Diev and other Krivis/Pardoner to 170+.
You should only use them when you need to gain exp quickly. If you're already 10 levels higher than the map you'll get slightly reduced mob exp because the mobs are too low level.
we are not killing thousands mobs for quests and xp rate is low.
overlvling maps isnt+wasnt even a problem.
and now there are orsha maps to carry ppl to 130.
>use whenever you want.
No, I'm ten levels under the map, not over. I was told to stay at least 10 levels within range by someone but it's getting really hard to keep up without blowing tons of cards. I guess I should just use them whenever based on what I'm hearing from you guys though, right?
cards are made to get you lvlups. they are exp rewards from quests you get in other games.
you can only accept quests yourLvL+10. try to stay like 5-8 lvls over/under map levels.
dont worry about Lv1 to Lv6 cards. just use them.
(only need to save L7+L8. and that was in past. maybe not anymore now)
You can trust Vakarine. She's always there for you.
they sent a team to travel all over the world just to get "data", so yeah they managed to find some really obscure concepts, but they wasted budget on that and left the game to be rather shallow with lots of flaws.
This 54 is a typo right? Every other one has been under 20.
>stone shot fires a "stone bullet"
>can't use it wih musket
Looking for Healer or Looking for Party for 130runs
You kind of underestimate the value of mob exp. Mobs in the range of Lv 3 exp cards for example give 150-200 exp. A lv 3 exp card is 8000 exp. So a card at that level is roughly 40-55 monsters. Yeah you can get cards pretty quickly... but you will kill hundreds of mobs to do so, and can opportunistically kill many more. You'd be doing a disservice by outleveling a zone before doing the quests there.
Seems safe, thanks pal.
other anon here. i gtg soon and will miss that. can someone of you please record your monitor with the live stream with a mobile phone camera and upload that video at youtube?
Vakarine is the best goddess, she's the only one who's not afraid of doing the dirty work, she's a warrior, mother, sister, and daughter of the humans at the same time, She also cares for the beasts! She also gave a chance to the demons! Vakarine didn't run when the shit hit the fan, she stood her ground and sent her own "Valkyries" to fight the crisis. She made some mistakes and was not afraid to admit it and dive into the problem, unlike the other shit goddess.
You really think that the other goddess didn't had any kind kupules? I'm must sure they had thousands of years to build a host but nah, they were too proud of their selfs to care about the future, to really care about humanity. Only Vakarine and Laima really cares for your souls.
No wonder that she has a statue every 3-4 maps and you are allowed to teleport, if she wasn't that good, we would be fucked by now, since other goddess can teleport you too (see klaipeda goddess statue).
How you can care about Gabija? She's the fucking fire goddess, with the power of the sun herself and what she did? She stayed in the top of the mage tower doing the job that a HUMAN could do (even if that human was THE mage) and sent a semenbird to guide you. How she couldn't tackle Herga~ on her own? FUCK Gabija.
