My last big session had no lag problems - for once, I was able to play my campaign without any frustration. But the game is back to being a laggy piece of shit today.

So, I know it's probably not a hardware problem, and it isn't savegame corruption, because it's the same damn save I've been playing every time.

What kind of software conflict could be causing this? I used task manager to shut down every unnecessary process that WOULD shut down, but it didn't affect the game at all.

Already turned all that down, and it still lagged. I don't know what caused that brief period of playability, but I had turned off the main performance hog features long before then.

Radeon 270. Not Nvidia, so no problem from that.

Battle size is at 80, but I get the same lag on the campaign map, in massive siege battles, and when fighting against just 4 bandits.

I doubt drivers are an issue anyway. The period of playability occurred out of nowhere just a day or two ago, and went away just as fast.

They do have manhunters, but only the Sheriff troop type has all blunt weapons. You get Sheriffs from upgrading Wardens which in turn you get from recruiting Town Militia from taverns.

You increase relations with treefuckers by either helping them in battle or knocking them in the head and releasing them as prisoners by talking to them.
You want qualis gems for increasing stats, there's a free one in the treasure chest at Rane.

Look for hafted blades, you can use those on horesback if you wanted to slash with polearms.

I can only think of Naginatas (which the hafted blade is similar to) as polearms that were really used on horseback.

I'm playing Silverstag and the Vaegir don't follow the same tier formula as the other factions, so they get overall worse units and get destroyed in AI autocalculated battles. Their levels. Nothing else. Autocalc doesn't care about attributes, skills, proficiencies or anything. Changing that has zero effect.

the animation code is in so it should just work by putting the item flag on it
so go to a weapon you want to put upstab on in morgh's, look at the capabilities column, remove the overswing_polearm flag if it's using it, scroll to the bottom of the column, check the overswing_spear flag, click update, then save and launch caribbean and see if it's working properly
if it isn't, then there's a guide in the OP on how to implement upstab
but when i played caribbean i remembered they already had it in, but it isn't the preferred version (the y axis is locked so you can't aim it well)

Those are headshots on naked head so it would be instakill with axes or javelins and maybe even darts. With javelin and throwing axe I can hit easily 5/5. 80% even if a target is very far away and I have to snipe it(with javelins, axes are much harder to snipe with but much easier to hit someone at medium/near distance).
But with Jarids it's just a gamble if it's gonna fly where you want it to fly. At least you get 7 darts so you can spam them.

I take it you play with autosaves?

Try checking your backup save located in documents/Mount&Blade Warband Savegames/mod namewhathaveyou

and rename last_savegame_backup.sav to the your save game (eg sg00.sav or sg01.sav or so). Make backups of both before you do so, but either way it might not work since the last_savegame backup might have been overwritten already with a corrupted save.

Been a while since I played NW but if you just want line battles, you could join one of the huge ass regiments that accept everyone and just show up 5 minutes before events. 63e is probably still massive, they took up an entire team during battles pretty consistently.

I tend to only do clearing bandit hideout and rescue prisoner quests, they give good relations, xp, loot and even honor. Though you don't want to destroy a hideout if you're still farming the guy running around it since the hideout increases their spawn rate (though if you're going away for a bit you can do so, since it will respawn)

It's filled with some random dumb things like the massive bandit hordes (they can be kind of fun to take down, but they fuck up the game world and AI lords can't really deal with them), iirc there's some really ridiculous black something or other unit in the Khergits lands and it completely fucks with the aesthetics of the game. I was messing around with Diplomacy 4.3; (the one available on the mount and blade forums)..

I added the crouching and upstab from the OP, it all works for the most part..

I'm playing it right now, it's pretty cool though it suffers from crazily strong and armored units that in my opinion mess with the game's aesthetic a bit. Floris suffers from this.

The minor factions are what make the mod interesting to me. I'm playing as a religious zealot serving in Harlaus' army, though I plan on joining the Sun Crusaders soon. They've been gathering followers and have a pretty sizable army.

While we were storming Veluca the Highlanders grouped together to "reclaim their ancestral homeland" and took one of our castles. Curious to see what'll happen with them.

Also, word of warning: combat is significantly harder. More health for everybody really fucks the player over in terms of your killing potential, and there are a lot of units that are nearly untouchable because of their armor. Kings' armies in particular have elite bodyguard units that can kick your shit in.

When the game notices that it's not activated, the instruction 'JZ SHORT 005CD729' jumps to the code where it brings up the register window. I just replaced that with 'nop' (no operation, basically, do nothing) and it continued and started the game.

Holy fucking shit people aren't kidding when they say Swadia sucks ass- my first time playing as the Rhodoks in Floris, and the Swadians have gotten their asses kicked in a month of war with the Nords and Rhodoks in a joint alliance. The Nords sacked Praven, and meanwhile us Rhodoks have seized all the other Swadian cities and are now in the process of mopping up their castles.

My high surgery rating has also paid off. I've been using most of the same mercs I hired at the start of the war, they're all veterans now, and my warband kicks the shit out of any Swadian army we encounter.

Guys I want to play as a Vaegir vassall in Silverstag mod but their lords spawn with lower max party size than lords from other faction due to some bug or something.

I'm really craving some rus action on Silverstag right now.

If I can't specifically fix that issue, is there something else I can do to artificially fix imbalanced caused between the Vaegirs and other factions? What happens if I increase the numbers of troops on the party templates for the Vaegirs, they'll recruit more soldiers per minute while waiting in castles and towns when filling up their parties, right?

Your options are ultimately to increase leadership skills and/or increase kingdom reinforcement sizes. Those are doable with Morgh's. If you want to change the party limits or renown values, I can assure you that that will not be possible without at least basic coding. Nah you can just increase it. However it's worth nothing that charisma also increases party size (for player at least, probably also for lords) and isn't limited to 10. You should be able to put it up to like 1000 for huge parties. Will need to start a new game for it to take effect though, same with leadership.

Okay, I raised all the Vaegir lords charisma to 56, they should all be able to have roughly ~20-40 more soldiers each now, depending on their charisma previously. Some lords had as little as 60 soldiers so that would only bring those up to 100 now, which is still lower than normal, but the increased amount of soldiers for the lords with normal troops should help balance that out.

And Semitic, Germanic paganism and Zoroastrianism will be pretty much irrelevant by Bannerlord's timeframe (1057), though that doesn't make it entirely impossible that they wouldn't be included if Taleworlds should choose to include religion (which I doubt).

Wicca is not just modern Celtic paganism and even if it was there'd be no reason to call it Wicca in-game. They wouldn't be practising "modern Celtic paganism" (or really, neopaganism), they'd be practising actual Celtic polytheism. But that's beside the point, Wicca is absolutely not a synonym for Celtic polytheism.
