Magic archer kinda sucks at first but the get really good once u unlock all the skills. Its important to understand that the skills (bow and dagger) have elemental types so u have watch out for elemental strengths and weaknesses.
MA is best if u max out magic and play as a glass cannon.
Must also mention that bow skills for MA use the magic stat not physical so going from strider/ranger/assassin doesnt help MA.

Okay so, I've put more study into this than you'll want to believe.
Griffons will spawn around Gran Soren and the Eradication Site. They like to show up in the early morning, so you'll want to have a crystal set up at the Eradication Site to have the best chances of finding that one. Go to sleep until morning and then head out. For the one near Gran Soren, just go outside. Hang around the areas with the buffalo and the harpy pool. If you find any goblins, that's perfect, stick near them. Kill 'em and hold on to one of the corpses, that'll get the griffon's attention real quick.
All of the above applies until you unlock the postgame. That's where things get crappy because literally nobody has good advice on how to find a griffon at this point.

Okay, so here's what you do. Forget the Eradication Site, a cockatrice moves in there instead. You can sometimes catch one flying overhead around Gran Soren, but I've never been able to get that thing to land so screw it. You want to go to the Hillfigure Knoll. Now, go to the cave at the knoll and go west. At some point, it shouldn't take long, you'll find a cliff with a short drop. Somewhere at the foot of this cliff is a small camp. Set up a crystal nearby then go back to Gran Soren and sleep until morning. Ferrystone out to the knoll and take a look at the camp. If it's got bandits, disregard and try again another day. If goblins are hanging around, stay nearby and wait. Eventually, a griffon is going to bodyslam that camp. You can probably get its attention faster by killing the goblins and carrying a corpse.

How do I play non-Warrior melee classes? All the skills just don't seem to hit hard enough and I feel like it's faster to be warrior and blow them the fuck up instead of waiting around to perfect block something as Magick Knight. My pawns will be blasting shit so while I'm standing around like a retard waiting to perfect block they will stagger enemies and blow them away. if I go in swinging my weapon I can't cancel into a perfect block (at least I don't think I can) so it seems like I spend most of the time just standing around.
