Did they tweak the difficulty for the PC version at all? I remember playing it years ago and Normal was too easy and Hard meant you had to be scared shitless of little bats because they could kick your ass in seconds.

Yeah you basically save often and if you do something like fail a quest then you kill yourself so you can go back to that save because if you use the "Reload Checkpoint" option then you get taken back to the last Rift Stone/Inn.

How do you raise vocations faster? Some vocations have some great augments and I want them.

Lowering the settings in DD offers some gains too and you don't miss much, HDR especially.

Just over 20 hours in and I've fought pretty much nothing but bandits and goblins with the occasional cyclops. Ran into one underwelming griffon fight so far, basically just spamming the same attack as an assassin

Don't want to multiply threads, so I'll ask here.

I've heard that some side quests can be failed if you progress the story too far. And one of those side quests supposedly unlocks a huge chunk of map, which can be missed.
When exactly can that happen, if it's true?

Also, when do I go to the DLC? Is there post game, or does it kick me into NG+ without question, like Dark Souls? Do I have to go there before doing the final quest in the main game?
