What class are you rolling and why isn't it Magick Archer?
That's the class I'm gonna try out actually. My Arisen on my PS3 was an Assassin.
I made a character from a book I like that's renowned for his barbarism and mercilessness. A magick archer is also less satisfying than doing that charged slash and launching a wave of enemies into the air. FUCK I love this game.
Wish me luck, /v/.
Magick Knight is fucking amazing.
Don't worry about minmaxing anon, gear values outweigh your vocation stats.
No but I mean, do I need to change class or can I play full strider till the end ? How do I get those flaming weapons ? How do i beat those fuckers shield bandits on the way to witchwood?
>still no multiple character slots
I just want to play through as differenct classes.
stop this meme
I went MA at level 10 and all I have to do is spam ricochet hunter down hallways in BBI and I kill shit before I even see it, I cant recall the last time an elder orge or minotaur has ever gotten into melee range with me
Won't hurt to play fighter for a bit, it's fun too.
Yeah, kinda. Level ups are like JRPGs, where each class gets a preset stat boost per level instead of picking your own. So playing a class that gets more strength per level will give you more strength when you switch back to Strider than say just playing Strider.
you should switch classes to unlock augments though
having the right set of augments is far more powerful than minmaxed stats are, they are also alot less time consuming to get.
I was literally in the exact same position as you earlier.
If you don't want to switch classes, just get better equipment. Find Madeleine in the starting village and/or the traveling merchant in the encampment and buy equipment from them. Do some minor quests or grind a bit to find some gold before hand.
>Yeah, kinda. Level ups are like JRPGs, where each class gets a preset stat boost per level instead of picking your own. So playing a class that gets more strength per level will give you more strength when you switch back to Strider than say just playing Strider.
Wait really? So I wouldn't just be screwing myself over?
>use cheat engine
>don't have to worry about min/maxing build because I can insert the appropriate stats for my level whenever I want
>don't have to farm dcp for hours because I can add points a million times faster than I can kill oxen and goblins
>need 5 brooms for a lvl 3 rusted bow? I could run around people's houses looking for them or I could change 5 of my 50 wolf pelts into them
Thank God for cheats. People could use them and be a huge faggot by making their stats overpowered or giving themselves endgame gear, but I just use them for quality of life improvements so I'm only a little faggot.
YOU CAN SHOOT DOWN BALLISTA ARROWS
Anyways what was the coolest "holy shit you can do that?!" moment you guys have had so far?
Obviously mine was the arrow thing, narrowly beating the fact that you don't lose stamina if you're directly horizontal on top of the monster you're climbing and he's not shaking, but will lose stamina if he's shaking you or you're hanging.
So, for stat growth, what should I be doing as a MK
I started as a fighter, swapped over to MK once I reached Gran Soren, but recently I swapped over to a Mage because I wanted the augment that increases buff length
For stat growth, should I keep playing as MK once I swap back, or play with one of the other classes for a bit?
>Should I switch my Pawn too ? Make her get some different stats etc...
Yeah, why not. Pawns learn better if they're the same class as you, if you also have a Strider pawn.
The guides posted ITT should help you.
But don't worry too much about it.
>Wait really? So I wouldn't just be screwing myself over?
The complete opposite, anon. The game is designed with class switching in mind.
>It was only a small dick inside of my ass, I'm only a little faggot
Kill yourself, you're the worst kind of RPG player.
How fucked are certain classes throughout this game?
I like playing ranger but I don't want some stupid fucking enemy to show up that blocks all physical damage, or in an opposite case, a stupid fucking enemy that blocks all magical damage to show up.
I might as well bring like 3 sorcerers with me, right?
>why even bother playing the game
Because it's a fun game. But do you know what's not fun? Playing a class you don't enjoy just so your stats are optimal, or killing the same enemies for hours so your vocation rank goes up enough for you to buy some skills. If you're such a purist why don't you set the framerate to a silky smooth 15fps like it was originally intended and get rid of the eternal ferrystone all but one of your portcrystals because the original game didn't have them.
You're a grade A retard.
Nobody gives a shit about whether you have "optimal stats"
And this game is literally monster hunter: The RPG. It's what you signed up for when you bought it. If you're too much of a shitter to handle a grind maybe you should play something more your speed.
>Playing a class you don't enjoy just so your stats are optimal
That's your own choice, I played warrior from start to finish on my first playthrough, I even used gear just because it looked good, why are you such a minmaxing faggot?
>Playing a class you don't enjoy just so your stats are optimal
why does it matter? just have fun with the game by playing what you want
>killing the same enemies for hours so your vocation rank goes up enough for you to buy some skills
why are you grinding if you dont enjoy it? just keep going with the game, its not that hard to continue with a fresh class
>If you're such a purist why don't you set the framerate to a silky smooth 15fps like it was originally intended and get rid of the eternal ferrystone all but one of your portcrystals because the original game didn't have them.
why do you think someone who doesnt cheat in a game is on the same level as a console player?
I'm playing a fighter, I love smacking my shield.
>And this game is literally monster hunter
Imagine if they made a home console/PC Monster Hunter spin-off with open world gameplay similar to Dragon's Dogma, but with all the monster design and fun setting of Monster Hunter.
Palicos instead of Pawns, and online co-op.
it's only partially broken
pawns are hired and they get knowledge, just not RC or gifts
Seems to be a server side thing, maybe caused by an overwhelming amount of people playing, more than they predicted.
Won't happen, Capcom likes to rehash. If they designed a Monster Hunter for consoles and PC they'd have to finally make Monster Hunter 2 instead of just re-releasing the first game with new content and numbers in the title.
Yeah it's really weird. That part is legitimately kinda hard but once you get past that and actually get to Witchwood, it's a breeze.
Are you sure? Where will I get more points to buy more skills?
I remember in the console version you could move the camera around quite a bit for taking screenshots, but I don't know if I'm just misremembering how well it could move, or if I'm doing something wrong.
How does their AI growth work any way? If we're both striders and I play a fighter, they start playing as a fighter as much as a strider can do so? If I switch back to strider, do they start acting more like a strider again?
Or do old dogs not learn new tricks?
>Went in mostly blind and missed half the quests available, didn't finish a single chain
I was amazed that I didn't get Fournival as the beloved, he was the person I did the most quests for, but I guess one quest and a hat was enough to score points with Aelinore.
you want to play as the final class as your pawn so it can pick up on what you do.
if you take entirely different class paths it will never have a chance to learn from you. or will learn bad habits for its class
like a mage pawn that constantly climbs on enemies instead of casting spells because its arisen was a strider who did so.
How hard is the late game in this game?
Is it so hard that you need to min max stats?
I mean someone went through the trouble making a guide here so it must be important?
I played this game back then pre DA and I didnt even know there was stats
so if me and my pawn both roll a mage it will learn mage tricks of me, but I then change over to a fighter, will it keep its mage ai or will it learn my fighter style and then proceed to be a useless mage?
Because I already played one on PS3. Going Fighter/Warrior this time.
Don't worry nigga, I know MA is best class.
I made a muscle wizard and pawn is his puny ladylike apprentice
if you want your pawn to be a good mage you need to play mage for some time as well.
you pawn will keep its mage AI, since it learned from you while you were a mage it has higher priority than what you do as a fighter.
>How hard is the late game in this game?
Main game is laughably easy, post game is challenging.
>Is it so hard that you need to min max stats?
No, main game is easy and the post game weapons have inflated stats so your base stats don't matter that much.
Min/maxing classes is important if you want specific augments from them, stats are irrelevant.
So, I just ran into what I believe to be, a little red Hitler girl.
the worst thing was his skills were exactly what i was looking for so i had to take him really
>99% of /v/ is straight white males
>99% of /v/ rolls dark skinned lesbians in DD
Can anyone explain this?
Fucking Shirou. He's in there every time I walk into the Rift but I keep telling him to leave.
>best new dagger available to me is dark element
>2nd best is lightning element
>3rd best is no element
Dark I can't imagine being good, lightning would get resisted by those ghost things which is the main reason I want a weapon with a natural element in it.
Mouse and Keyboard bros, have you changed your key config?
I've been thinking about using one of the two mouse side buttons for toggle bow mode, but using those for the two sets of special skills might be better (and a quick tab on those changes the melee/bow mode too). Really struggling to find something fully comfortable. I just don't want to give up aiming with the mouse (might mostly be a Strider issue).
What have you guys changed?
Stats don't really matter, just get the correct augments. For MK you want the shield, health, and casting augments. Focus on Fighter, Mage, and Sorc till you get the right augs.
If you want to grind money than the best thing to do is buy food that goes bad like carrots, then wait for two days until it sours, then sell it back.
Sour food is worth more than fresh, but rotten food is worthless. Most food goes bad in 2 days. So buy carrots, rest twice at the inn, then sell.
>play mystic knight
>line up three great cannons
>framerate stays at a constant 60 the entire time
It was like a dream.
So, if my pawn has like a dozen unfamiliar foes in the bestiary, that means she DOES get contracted after all, and it really is just the broken pwn system that made me think otherwhise?
>Why the fuck is there only 1 save.
>Do i really have to play through prologue every time?
>How the fuck do i get skills?
You buy them from an innkeeper.
>If i'm going mystic knight should my pawn be one too?
The pawns can't be hybrid classes, so no.
AINT NO STOPPING ME NOW
Should have gone to north spring though, this goblins seem to be infinite
>for the actual actions the learn from what you the player do
Not exclusively though, they learn even from their own actions, if they try something and they succeed they'll start doing it more.
They even learn from other pawns and other arisen, they'll change behavior depending on the party.
Yes you can train them to improve them but you're not ruining them in any way by not playing the same class.
Immediately at the start of the game you casual. Try exploring for once.
>free shit at the inn storage
>do the flower collection quest for gold so you can buy a weapon from the merchant lady
>there you go faggot go to the encampment now
>go take a look around steam
>~le pc masterrace circle jerk
>people playing on easy mode and having a hard time
>people complaining about normal mode being too hard
>people complaining about difficulty on HARD-mode
so much for the elite of gaming
I'm finding it hard to resist using those queen clothes that I got in Gran Soren. I like how my pawn looks a lot more, but those stat increases are insane
If you really want more skills before you level, you get more relatively Discipline (skill) Points if you gain xp in small chunks.
So weak enemies like goblins and wolves (which can be found in abundance around Gran Soren) have a higher DP/Exp ratio.
Keep in mind that this can get boring if you overdo it.
I'M PLAYING A KNIGHT-STYLE CHARACTER
I JUST FINISHED THE LAST OF THE FIRST BATCH OF THE WYRM HUNT QUESTS
I WANT TO GO MK BEFORE I REACH GRIGORI
SHOULD I DO IT OR SHOULD I JUST ROLL DICKASS ASSASSIN
>I just want to kill things, fuck this open world meme.
The open world is littered with enemies. Go exploring and find some.
Not exploring is more like to keep you from fighting, as you'll be constantly finding Valmiro and telling him to go home.
I don't care what supposed 'negatives' there are im a fucking muscle wizard and it looks badass as fuck while casting spells and shit
>That dreamy look
Jesus fuck my Arisen wants the Mercedes V.
I can't blame her Also she sometimes looks really weird in certain shots, like this one. I wonder if it's just the cutscenes/hamfisted expressions or if I fucked up character creation a bit.
When I use the controller is just shows numbers in two rows instead of actually showing the button prompts for like, an xbox controller for example.
Is there any way to fix this? this is only happening on my main pc. It was fine on my laptop
This. Magic archer is the hand holder rogue for pussies.
Who assassin here desu?
Do you think anyone in DDverse has fucked harpies? Like birds are pretty intelligent, I'm sure you could capture one and keep it in like a warehouse feeding it and raising it, I mean rape is an option too but I'm not in to that, the idea of capturing a harpy and getting it used to human interaction is adorable to me, fucking it is a possibly nice added bonus Also y'know, the succubi later are a re-skin
>One of the best weapons in the game
Anon, do some research, don't be ignorant, you look like an idiot by talking shit.
I've already beat the game on PS3
I just forget if I have enough progression from here to get through all 10 vocation ranks of sorc/mage so I can swap into MK with decent skills.
I was getting Fighter to rank 10 first, mainly.
>I just want to kill things, fuck this open world meme.
>World filled with enemies, secrets and missions
What's the point of exploring an open world again?
>"I've a bad feeling..."
He'll be fine.
Oh for fucks sake, so that's what's going on. I was like jesus fuck, the PS3 community was so good and used each others Pawns so freely, why the hell is mine not being used here? It wasn't the community being shit per se, it's just that the gooks over at Cashcom can't port worth a damn.
We better get a shitload of items and RC for free for this incompetence. I've been gifting friends just starting out Spring Waters and shit, and now evidently they are just wasted.
Pro tip from someone who played at least 500+ hours of this game on ps3.
Fighter is a very good class despite it being a starter class and i can whole say it's WAY better than a warrior could ever be. it's my favorite. it's great for player characters is personally i think it's the best go to option for
>Is really good at latching onto big monsters for large periods of time while you can spam light attacks on their weekspot and kill them at a good/safe pace
>wide range of abilities especially for closing distance/maneuverability and are pretty good at comboing into eachother. (Hindsight Sweep, Burst Strike, Antler toss)
>Capable of doing some crazy ass high damage especially when a large enemy is in a vulnerable knockdown state.(Sheltered Assault basically saws into motherfuckers flesh at what is pretty much a better version of assassin's gouge at least my opinion. Also dragon's maw is fucking godlike. you unleash a bunch of wild swings at the cost of alot of stamina but it also has iframes on it)
also In my experiance. some of the smartest pawn ai and tends to actually attack and get shit done rather than run around in circles like a warrior pawn tends to do. for the love of god please dont set your pawn to warrior you will suffer for it
if you're playing a warrior please reconsider. changing your vocation to fighter when you reach the super lategame content (like dark arisen). Your limitation to only 3 skills while being super slow and having almost no defense really works against you. i mean i know getting off a well timed arc of deliverance feels great but you're really gimping yourself when you play as one. i mean it's up to you how you want to play the game though. if you are really dedicated to the style of warrior you could get through anything but just know that there are better options
>mfw I noticed the moldy grapes price
It's a controller, because PC controllers are general purpose. Button 7 on my knockoff PS3 controller is L2, and you know what it says on the screen when I have the controller plugged in? "7"
Enjoy being retarded though, you're pretty good at it.
Are there any Fate Pawns?
Imma make Illya as the Arisen, and have EMIYA, Saber and Berserker as pawns.
I apologize anon, but the way you phrased it in the terms of how I typically read greentexts like that generally reads as "why would you want to do MK when you could put your skills to a different, more viable class"
Tried to make a Saber Fighter, but the creation options are rather limited. There is a rough facsimile of her hairstyle, however the bun is too high, and the bangs are also too high. I imagine you would have an easier time with Alter, since you could just make her Warrior and throw the BBI endgame armor onto her.
I just did the querry quest were you have to clear the road for the merchant
At the end of it I fought and killed an ogre, but I saw there was a second ogre even deeper in.
But I'm done with the quest so I can just turn it in and that's fine right?
>Ranger pawn is climbing all over everything like an idiot and trying to slash anything that he can't climb, misses every time he tries to use Deathly or Great Gamble
>Working totally perfect for my friend using him, only using his bow and hitting all his shots
I've never seen this happen on console, is my pawn going through a teenager rebellion phase?
Anything with Nexus or Guardian, anything with acquisitor primary, anything without a second inclination listed (that means that two are tied for secondary, so they don't display) because it could be guardian or nexus, and scather on mage/sorc/ranger. Most people won't touch warriors they don't know.
As far as player pawns go, I only look for optimal setups, but with the pre-made ones you have to be a bit more lenient.
A good warrior pawn is just as good, if not better, than a good fighter pawn, it just takes much, much more effort to achieve.
>Go to the Nexus searching for loli mage
>They are pretty rare and they don't have a loli voice
Also no Amazons
I'm really disappointed by everyone
So I rolled a strider and it's fun as hell, going fast all day, climbing shit and attacking like crash bandicoot on coke. Should I class into assassin or ranger or is staying strider cool too?
attacking warriors is scary because I barely tickle their nuts
I think my game might be fucked up completely at this point for whatever reason.
Can no longer see the name of the people who made the pawn, they all just look fucking generic as shit now.
Like the first day I started playing I seen tons of funny, interesting pawns.
Now they are all just gone.
This is the first game I've played that feels like it's one of those MMO's in anime in recent years. Makes me sorry I missed it until now.
Anything else like it?
By pivoting to Ranger, you forfeit a lot of the climbing onto enemies mechanic. I mean you can still, but you are much more valuable on the outer rim of the battle, taking pot shots at the enemies with your bow and arrows. Assassin is much more at home climbing on shit, but they're less focused on the bow. Strider is sort of in between the two, so just choose if you have a favorite style. If not, you can definitely take a basic class like Strider to the end of the game.
>gryphon fight outside of Gran Soren
>jump unto it
>it flies up, I hack at it
>fuck I'm going to run out of stamina and die
>pawn sets its wings ablaze
>comes crashing down
still pretty early so dont have much gear to add much character yet
>Should I class into assassin or ranger or is staying strider cool too?
Do whatever you want, anything is viable. That said, if you like going fast and slashing shit, Assassin has some fun stuff.
>attacking warriors is scary because I barely tickle their nuts
I find Helm Breaker makes quick work of them. At the very least, it does a good job of keeping them stunlocked/face down in the dirt.
People probably have, it's just that capcom can't do anything right and fucked up the Pawn system. We don't get any notifications or gifts or rift crystals that they have been used. The only real indicator is if you go into your Pawns status page, and it has knowledge of unknown quests or enemies. Clearly it did not learn that with you, because then it would be known quests and enemies.
Because I had too much fun as one last time and I was thinking of going MK this time. I'm an assassin for the time being.
Also, is it worth it to turn everything up to the max or is there no point to high AA and HDR? I think my rig's doing 40+ at max everything but should be able to 60 on paper since it's not as silky smooth as >>324230473. I'm guessing my i5 is bottlenecking the rest.
Thanks dudes. I'll go assassin next time I get back to soren.
>make eyebrows elf with cute shota fighter
>immediately regret everything but the class
>10 hours later love all of it
Maybe I just have shit taste and stockholm syndrome. I legit sat in the barber shop for 5 minutes wondering if I really needed to remove those brows.
I'm still downloading right now because of my shitty internet and wanted to ask you for the best vocation/specs to suit my arisen.
Is asssin really the closest thing to a chakram-wielding warrior princess?
Is Amalur the only fucking RPG to have Chakrams in it?
>on mystic knight
Made this webm just for you
I have a question about my pawn.
I've been drilling him really heavily as a Fighter, teaching him how to block and grab enemies and shit, etc.
If I switch to a mage later on for some augments will it fuck with the conditioning I put him through?
What am I missing by not having online access in the game?
so i was checking something after hiring pawns and then this happened
the AI is pretty cool
only 4-5 skills ,as a vet warrior that soloed all of BBI, have any use
pommel bash, escape slash series, spark slash series, and your choice of charge attack depending on patience
I'm being serious, the capcom-created pawns are FUCKING TERRIBLE. You'd actually be doing better off by not having them at all and just rolling you and your main pawn.
>mfw all those people on the steam forum complaining about hard mode
>No friends pawns, only the basic Capcom pawns
>No random pawns will fill the world and let you hire them on a whim
>You can't get rewards and rankings for your pawn
The online factor is just for the pawns development, and yeah, you can go without other player pawns and be stuck with the same 50 or so cookie cutter pawns, but the game does feel more dull because of it.
Hey I'm not saying don't get the water, it's one of the best healing items, but selling it is a waste. Just stockpile that shit at the inn and never buy healing items again.
You can also use spring water to refresh rotten food if you put the food in an airtight container. it's really circuitous and for not much payoff so I've never done it but hey, it's a feature.
>Cant make beautiful screenshots
>Cant make good webms
Where's a good place to grind for characters in the high twenties? I have a fair amount of quests to go into bandit country. Every time I head out there I encounter one of those "slightly more armored" assholes who slap my shit every time. I literally just quit because this fucker just 1hko-ed my level 27 character with one swift swing of his broadsword.
It's not like I have shitty gear either. For whatever reason I had highly over powered gear waiting in my storage when I got to Grand Soren. I'm gonna guess someone REALLY liked my pawn.
I tried to remove them once.
And fuck you, that's for the nostalgia when I was playing on console.
Clarity is Assassin exclusive btw
Did I fuck up badly by starting as a fighter then going mystic knight around level 18? Using mace and a shield.
Anon it's hard to fuck up your character. jeez.
The only way you could start to feel pain is to do something like warrior for 100 levels then get the sudden urge to roll sorcerer with no gear.
>17 hours played
>Randomly crash on a loading screen
>All of a sudden whenever I launch the game it crashes after the Capcom splash
>Tried reinstalling drivers
>Tried removing save file to see if it was causing the problem
>Tried running as admin
>Tried editing the config file to turn off fullscreen, vsync and lowering the resolution
>Tried deleting the config
>Tried validating files twice
>Tried changing the hard drive I had it on
Literally nothing has worked. All I have left is to redownload a 20 gig game on my shit tier internet and if that doesn't work I'm fucked.
This is hell lads. I don't know what to do.
hate to be peristent but should i start out as a fighter or a strider?
Not really. You could go MK at 10 and play the rest of the game like that and not be totally fucked. Just get the STR and MAG boosting augments from the other classes. Articulacy also boosts cast speed I think, so get it for cannons.
Im new to this game. Waited forever for the pc Release! It is as awesome as i have expected. I went for strider in the beginning which had a really rough start. I went over to Assassin love playing with Sword and Bow. I think it kinda suits the genre and my imagination of a dragon slayer. It only sucks that i have to play at night the whole time for my bonus stats, but they are worth it desu
>Coming into a thread of a game you dislike to tell people they shouldn't play this game
I see you maxed out your autism vocation anon, I suggest going hybrid now so you can function as a person once again.
No actually tanking is quite viable mah boi.
Rolling a 960 and a benchmark site I checked with for optimum requirements and it said my card was 266% optimal. My cpu was 130%ish and my ram was 100%. I doubt my RAM's the bottleneck.
IF YOU WANT TO DO DAMAGE BUT DON'T WANT TO PLAY BORING ASS CLASSES
1. GET GOOD GEAR, ESPECIALLY THE SHIT IN BITTERBLACK AND EVERFALL
2. GET THE STAT BOOSTING AUGMENTS THAT APPLY TO YOUR CLASS (clout and vehemence for strength, acuity and attunement for magic)
3. BLOODLUST IS OPTIONAL FOR NIGHT TIME ENEMIES AND CHEESING DUNGEONS AT NIGHT
4. GET PERIAPTS FOR BUFFS
5. GET A MAGE TO BUFF YOUR WEAPON WITH ELEMENTS THE ENEMY IS WEAK AGAINST (or just get an auto-buffed weapon)
THERE YOU GO FAGGOT STOP FUCKING ASKING ABOUT WHAT CLASSES TO PLAY FOR STATS BECAUSE YOU DON'T NEED THEM
THE GAME IS EASY PAST LEVEL 100 NO MATTER WHAT YOU PLAYED
intel 4000 man. It's not even supposed to run games from 2002.
your level doesnt really matter you can take on everything in the open world save for maybe the Drake unless you cheese the fuck out of it and you dont want to fight Dragonkin until you have a ton of 3* gear anyhow to get the best chance of upgrading your shit.
it's just a case of learning to deal with enemy types, bandits are actually one of the harder enemy types early on because they use the same skills your team does and they outnumber you and Blink/Burst Strike can one shot people not heavily armoured.
play safe around them, take out of the Archers first and foremost
Started as Strider, now rocking the Magick Archer
>can taunt enemies and make himself invincible
I use 2 fighters and play as a MK, 3 MC's and kill everything in the game in 4 seconds while never being attacked.
I'd call that tanking.
Here's a Paladin Loadout for Paladinbros
Articulacy + Wyrmking's Ring
Dragon knight helm or St George mask
Holy cuisses or gryphic leggings
BBI: Sovereign Mantle
BBI: Patterned gabeson
BBI: Silky tights
If somebody could save this, or give some insight, but i think that's the best for a Paladin style character.
Someone want to add me and give me a better greatsword than the steel great sword?
Any reshaders/enb that are worth picking up yet?
Well, a mage Pawn won't copy a Strider arisen, etc
Other than that, they'll copy just about everything they can from the kind of enemies you attack first in a group, which attacks you use and even whether you try and help out other pawns
bro, I'm talking about for starting out.
I haven't unlocked the advanced classes yet. I'm obviously not going to remain strider for the rest of the game. lol
I have an R9 280 with a i5 4690k and am playing on highest settings on 1440p and it has been really smooth so far, no noticeable drops from 60 FPS. So yeah it must be the CPU.
Afinity quest with this as a reward
>Not supposed to be in the castle after dark.
Oh fuck that explains it
Oh, then yeah, Strider is the best choice
Best DPS and the ability to attack at range and flying units
Well, other than specific abilities, the pawns will still take cues from you
If you attack the strongest enemies first then regardless of pawn class, they'll focus on stronger enemies
They'll learn things on their own but you can also affect their broader preferences by sitting them down in the Knowledge Chair and giving them a talk or purchasing potions from the rift crystal store
Just don't make them Guardians or Nexus
>going to bandit camp to get grimoire
>wolves start attacking me
>then skeleton knights
>then a fucking chimera
>all at once
I have a question about how vocations work
Lots of people are talking about being a fighter/strider/warrior instead of upgrading to warrior/ranger/sorcerer and the advanced vocations
I thought you always upgrade to the advanced/hybrid vocations, was I wrong?
You don't need to play as the same class as them for long if you git gud. The most important thing is teaching them how to use their vital skills and where/how to attack bosses.
>This game runs on Intel HD 4000? Wat?
It does. Well, my processor isn't horrid either (i3-3110M @2.4GHz), so that may help.
At console resolution, I'm around 24 FPS. At pic related resolution, it's stable 30 FPS.
And Killing Floor ran in a weird way on my laptop. The most unstable FPS I've ever seen in my life.
>Bitterback Isles NG+ second run
>Enter into large room
>10 corrupted pawns, 3 gorecyclopes
>Corrupted pawns piss off all 3 gorecyclopes
>After 15 minutes of barely surviving, Death shows up
>Undead Dragon attracted by the smell of corpses
Is there a quick way to get the saving grace longsword?
you can play any class for the entire game
dont fall into the trap thinking the advanced vocations are just outright better.
granted the Hybrid Vocations are definately the strongest for obvious reasons of being more versatile and getting some amazing unique stuff but the game is perfectly playable as any class you want.
the only thing you want to consider is each classes stat growth, if you want more stamina you'll want to level as a Ranger for awhile, if you want Matk play a Sorc etc.
Different classes have different stat growths, but the thing that matters is that each class has exclusive augments that you'll want to get before settling on your main class.
>short on cash at the beginning of game
>try to sell my shit
>see that monocle game me free
>can sell it for over 300k
>can buy it back later anyway when i have millions
