It's probably one of the blanded game I've ever played. Everything is dull as fuck. the only parts where I felt a strong atmosphere were Bitterblack Isle and maybe Post-game (but post-game is like another shade of bland).

Well I have been playing and this is Gold! The Chimera fight at the start was on it's own better and more exciting than the majority of the Witcher 3.

I am going for Mystic Knight I think, any tips or things I need to know? Can you get better gear early on or is that dripped in as you level up.

Also the character customisation. Took me at least 2 hours before I was satisfied. Even now I am thinking of starting again.

Go balanced, make sure not to skimp on either your physical or magic stats. Level Sorc for a while for Magick and Assassin for a while for Attack. Look through the Augments on the Wiki and see what you like. Learn perfect blocking with your elemental shield abilities. The trap glyph spells (forget the name) are good.

Gear is done 2 ways. By location and story progression some merchants sell select shit only they have. Raising their affinity will also unlock other shit.

DD's main problem is that the enemies don't really change over the course of the game, you basically always fight the same crap.

The climbing is also pretty barebones and means fighting large enemies as melee characters is pretty boring.
