>He doesn't wish to purge heathens in the name of our great Lord and Creator
>He doesn't want eternal peace for all of the faithful
>he wants everybody to have no personality
>he wants everything to become redundant and retarded
What the hell's the point of rewriting humans if we're just gonna give them no personality? It's a worthless idea, and law is for faggots.
She's always been a useful healer
>Being ungrateful to the Lord
>Desecrating His creations and disobeying His will
You're lucky you get anything at all, and that YHWH doesn't just wipe humanity from the face of the Earth.
Fiends, any and all of them, especially this one.
I also spent a ridiculous amount of time in SMT4 trying for fusion accidents to get ones of the Famed race, Skellies and humans are both nice.
>not centralizing your SMT game entirely in Tokyo
Don't be silly, anon. What could come from that?
Always Scathach. Accept no substitutes
Nice to see that all of the lord's followers are sheep being led to the slaughter. Have fun sucking YHWH's cock for all eternity.
They need to give Tam Lin a new design. I know style biting Cu is cool and all but damn, it's been like 20 years. There's a point where Atlus should think to themselves. "We could change this and I don't think anyone would get upset"
>implying Lucifer won't destroy the lord and his pitiful servants
>implying the Lord won't smite Lucifer and his abominations
>implying he's not just some pussy bitch
>implying he could even if he wanted to
Best Law route incoming.
8th day boss was kind of a let down though.
you know, if you think about it, SJ is a FPS.
It's played in first-person and you can shoot a gun
I've reached Tokyo in SMTIV and I'm totally lost. Like, beyond lost. The only things in my quest list are "Find the Black Samurai" and "Locate the Transporters". I'm in Shinjuku now and slaying Corpses, but everything here seems above my level and I keep getting jumped and killed in one turn. Is there somewhere else I overlooked?
Nigga I've been playing it, I'm in the third labyrinth and I literally never run out of SP besides FOE fights and boss fights. Learn to use the boost system with the sub-Personas, retard.
You know, that's about actually where I left off. You need to finish slaying the corpses, and then the guy at the end of the hall will open the shutter for you. You then continue from there. Hope I was of some help anon love you buddy
You're just asking for a cushy spot in an isocube.
Why not go full physical anon? Don't like punching things until they die? No need for SP when you can use health
Have you actually played the game? The extra HP and SP you get from sub Personas regenerates after every battle. And when you strike a weakness or get a critical attack, your next skill costs no HP or SP.
If you're worried about healing, then heal with the free boosted spells (you also get priority from this) or use healing items.
The game isn't bad in the slightest.
Magic seems to be useful only for hitting all enemies with an elemental weakness and status effects. Physical attackers can do almost everything else including hitting single target's elemental weaknesses, almighty attacks, and buffing or debuffing, as well as binding.
I haven't played any of the Shin Megami Tensei or Persona games, but they all look so very interesting to me. What are the games like? Where should I start, also what are you's guys's personal favorites?
Getting killed in one turn when you get jumped is sadly normal. Save often. Don't get jumped.
When you first get to Tokyo was the worst part of the game for me. Just keep trying to find new places. Don't feel the need to complete every sidequest if you don't want to, they're REALLY not fun, especially before you get your hands on Estoma Sword.
There are a few places where you have to talk to somebody for progression to advance. Talk to everybody in each bar, there's a few places where you have to talk to some random guy with a random quest.
It got much better for me once I found the Black Samurai.
Chie isn't even best Purse Owner, faggot.
>mfw Sega will force them to use White ending on the last smt game when the series makes no money at all so it would be impossible to return to MegaTen/Amala multiverse
these niggas know whats up.
Scathach and Lilith. My dick never allows me to finish the game unless I fuse at least one of them.
I liked it too, however I felt like it was too short and could have been great if it were expanded even further.
Hathor's really underrated/underused and creates the perfect trifecta of demon waifus
Scathach/Kikuri-hime/Hathor. Lilith is overrated imo
>Use pic related
Gin's ending is worst non-Yuzu ending.
>Seal away demons
>God is free to carry out the genocide he wanted at any time, humanity has no way of protecting itself
The other endings are so much better.
>Brotaku keeps the demons so God can't do anything
>Amane ending results in you telling god to go take break, you will watch Earth in his place
>Naoya ending results in you invading heaven and telling him to fuck off and stop trying to murder humanity
The dungeon designs are super lame compared to, say, Nocturne. This wouldn't bother you at all because P3+4 has randomized floors instead of real dungeons.
The combat is all-or-nothing with the Smirk system and no defense stat. Boss battles are too short and you're either completely destroyed or they feel too easy.
I've played a good amount of MegaTen and I still enjoyed it quite a bit though.
Questionable designs for some of the demons, somewhat unbalanced difficulty that gets easy at times. Still a great game.
Not him, but I find it impossible to go to FES after P3P. the gameplay is just so much better. FES does have the worst gameplay of the entire Persona series.
P3P has full party control and FeMC. IMO P3P is far inferior to FES, but full party control is easily something that can push you more towards P3P.
If it's the first time you're playing it, I'd recommend FES over P3P.
FES isn't that hard. Considering it's a really heavily story-driven game being able to see everything makes it much better.
FES has 3D scenes and animated cutscenes but you have to use the crappy AI for battles.
Take this comparison and apply it to the whole game. I don't think P3P is bad but FES presents everything much better.
>Pretty easy after you get to Tokyo
>Very little variety amongst the demons aside from their designs
>Dungeons were incredibly simplistic
>Fusion system is even easier to abuse than usual
>Smirking makes most fights really one-sided
>Partner AI was awful. The Minotaur and Asura fight is a perfect example of this
>Every route except Neutral is a disappointment
>Awful demon redesigns with like two or three exceptions
I still had fun with it though. Just kind of a disappointment considering how hyped I was for it.
FES has anime cutscenes, 3D models outside of battle, and exploration of the town like P4. It also has an epilogue in the form of The Answer. A lot of people hate The Answer for grinding but I enjoyed it, I only had to grind a single time for Thor's heart item.
However, you can't control your party members directly in FES. Portable also has a female MC option.
I finished P3P like a year or two back, I've no interest to go back.
Obviously, but any time I see these threads they always go on about how SMTIV was bad and how either Strange Journey is better or something else in the series. Then people shit on the Persona players and the Persona players just wallow around in Waifu stuff
It wouldn't be bad if it didn't completely turn battles around. If it had the exact same mechanics but paired with a fucking defense state it would be a fine, small little addition to press turn. As it stands, combat in 4 is too much of a glass cannon, DPS race for all intents and purposes and smirking just emphasized that.
I seriously thought Jonathan was a girl unitl I read his name.
