Do does SMTIV have another difficult boss fight after Medusa or have I simply mastered the mechanics? I haven't died more than once to a boss since then, it's just a matter of keeping a varied party and then building one that exploits the boss' weakness.

I just killed the top floor demon on the tower with the 3 prisoners (haven't done the other two) on the first try.

To be honest I was kinda surprised the crew didn't immediately figure out who was behind that mask. The game conveniently neglected to give Walter any lines during the scene, too.

I am playing through SMTIV as well, almost at the end.

So far, no. Minotaur and Medusa were more or less the big difficulty curve, and everything else afterwards was easy town. Partially because Naraku was a terrible fucking first part of the game that had shit demons, no real way to easily make money to summon stuff from Mido, and everything being locked down in Burrows.

After that part, Terminals become common, quests open up more and offer more money, you start to get more exp from battles and you start to build up your MC to the point where they are actually worth a damn (Went magic the first time since Physical and Gun attacks are more or less useless 90% of the time). Gave him one of each element, the full revival spell (The one that does not drain your HP), and Concentrate (And the same on most of my other demons). Mother****ing powerhouse.

The entire point of a Law that YHVH would love entirely hinges on humans having complete and total free will, but no desire to use it negatively, without any angels or demons to influence them. Only brainwashing is in SJ where Law's being set up without the guidance of YHVH as an emergency to revive him with faith, but it's not the society he wants.

And Chaos is tyranny by the strongest, it really may as well ditch the use of the word "freedom" anywhere near association with it. It should usually work out well enough for whoever's strongest, of course, and if everyone else is lucky, the strongest person also wants to organize a decent society for others.

And neutral will just never turn out right because the sunshine and rainbows curing the apocalypse is bullshit. SMT4 was so goddamn ridiculous with this, it blatantly ignored EVERYTHING that was left wrong that they did nothing about. Like holy shit, they did nothing to stop the demons that already infested Tokyo, much less the swarms that poured out from the Expanse opening at least twice, and then let them loose upon the entire rest of the world by removing the dome. What the flying fuck would a village like Kiccigiorgi do if a single Oni so much as glances in their direction? The fuck are a bunch of middle ages farmers armed with hoes gonna do? Why the fuck can they trust an unnamed, unknown goddess that ALREADY died once with protecting them or having human's interests in mind?

I've only played smt4 out of all the games, but they are creepy as fuck. It's weird how all the angels, or most, are robots. I do like the artstyle a lot though. Currently about to do the Chaos story after beating Law. The ending was very anticlimactic and oddly positive compared with the rest of the game.

The only demons were from Black Samurai's books transforming humans, and the NPCs claim the Archangels purged all demons from the surface (which made way more believe in the archangels).

Your group took basically all demonicas left in the CDF base, which was small in the first place. Demon Summoning Program was rare too, they mainly used smartphones and they ran out of them and couldn't make more. And farmers in the outside world aren't gonna have any technology whatsoever.

And they put a dome over it, but if they hadn't and didn't get nuked, Infernal Tokyo would've happened instead due to demons. Even 25 years later, Tokyo was still shitty with everyone hiding from demons unable to do anything against them.

...And then you stop red pills from being distributed, meaning they were even less safe from demons. Then the expanse opens, flooding out more demons. Then Lucifer keeps the expanse open for ages, flooding out even more.

Neutral ends with Tokyo having a worse demon problem that it did before you even got there.

Infernal Tokyo happened because Protagonist-kun sided with the demons instead of the Angels or Masakado. Also, they had an entire force for stopping demons, and post dome removal they not only have Masakado, the Spirit of Tokyo, and the main character, but all of the hunters working together, and all of the National Defense Divinities, plus the Samurai from above the dome. Plus, the only reason nobody had any Smart Phones was because the Ashura Kai destroyed most of them to prevent people from getting power.

The proto-protag died pretty early on in the initial angel fights. They stopped the angels from taking children, so the angels never nuked the area and were wiped out.

"Entire force" is playing it up too, this is Japan we're talking about. I'm pretty sure they go into the CDF being such a joke that it let people from the public join, and was still a pretty small operation.

Masakado also went away, Tokyo Goddess has done absolutely nothing in the history of ever except die, main character's just one man, the hunters/samurai are basically useless and have been shown as much like that, and they still don't have the means to make more phones.

Flynn's probably fine because he's overpowered, but like hell anyone else is so lucky with the demon swarm he let loose on the world... or with them moving out from Tokyo to farmlands and being too spread out to possibly defend anything together or call for help and get it before everyone's dead.

Nevermind the Mikado and Tokyo people clashing over difference in culture, especially given only the most pious and religious people of Mikado were left alive by this point whereas Tokyo's a den of deprived post-apocalyptic people desperate for anything they can get.

It's probably because, as of Persona 3, the Persona spinoffs have become wildly popular.
