I posted on here awhile ago asking about a "company" (you know those web store type sites) that I sold my league account to years ago and recently recovered threatening legal action agaisnt me, most of the replies were saying they can't do anything to me. For later reference I've been playing it like idk anything about it being recovered.

Anyway I got another email from the recently again just threatening to reverse payment and sue/use a debt collection service. I've closed the paypal that I received payment via, and besides the payment is over 2 years old (however they probably have a buisness account idk if this changes payment reversal time periods at all). Is there really any threat to me? I mean in the end I think they would struggle to prove it was me that recovered the account, but even so, is there realistically any legal threat to me? I live in Australia if country of citizenship laws are relevent at all.

Why does this keep happening to me? I can think of 4 games I've played recently that this has happened with.

Is it good for video games to be less demanding on players' time and allow them more time away from a game yet still be able to catch up or stay competitive with little effort? It seems like that's the modern approach to MMOs, but would it sounds like a good way to balance casual and hardcore players at the same time.

>got the binding of isaac rebirth and all it's dlc on steam at the beginning of summer
>played the game for like an hour or two and realized it was really fun
>Beat the game twice in one day
>Realized the game has lots of replayablity and since i'm an achievement junky i decided i'll 100% the game and get all the achievements
>summer's nearly over and i already have 320+ hours of playtime on the game and only like 60% of the achievements
summer well spent
