The story of DMC is fucked honestly, not to mention the failed reboot. Gameplay would probably be solid though unless they try to replace Dante again or some other gimmicky shit.

Dead Rising 1 is one of the games in my personal Top 10.
Sometimes, while playing a game, you can feel that the developers poured LOVE in their project and had fun while making it.
DR's development cycle was relatively short and sweet, and a very stable and good-looking game came out. Cool ideas and innovation everywhere.
Never think of it as just a zombie game. It's so much more than that.

2 and OTR are fundamentally not as fun as DR1 because the engine is so much worse feeling, combo weapons are way too overpowered and easy to obtain and zombrex is a huge pain in the ass. They also started the trend of every DR game besides the first one being a game about killing zombies when that wasn't' really what DR1 was about

I got to the last level of Ruin, died right before the end, and didn't even get mad. Doing it again later tonight!
The End Is Nigh is a wonderful game, and i'm even enjoying the deathless carts. You know why? because the controls are perfect.
Absolutely perfect.
I have never had a single grapple fail, or a single hitbox that i thought was BS. in fact, every hitbox is a few pixels smaller than the actual object - see how close you can get to literally anything.

PS: the fish and birds are predictable as fuck, and you are bad if you think they are too hard.

The opening cutscene was intriguing to me and a friend also picked it up when it was like 12 or 7 dollars or somewhere around there.

I would've liked to see some variety with the battle system beyond just the one timing ring thing.

Some of the memories and journals were really well written and at times felt out of place with the game, I might be wearing nostalgia glasses but there was one journal from some battlefield commander that was written as if he was slowly being taken over by a fungus or something?

Overall I had fun with it. It's not that great but its not that bad either, maybe something like a 6/10.

I am a big fan of memetale's ending theme. I think I just like pieces where they keep returning to a "heroic theme" which eventually pierces through and crescendos. Really gets the endorphins pumping
