What the hell does "wearing gamer clothes" has to do with talking about games with friends of similar interests or buying physical games, the most normal action you could possibly do? It's like buying a movie or a CD.

"showing power level" relates to acting spergy in relation to knowing more about something than the people around you, and talking about it like the obsessed nerd you are while nobody else wants you to.

"Buying games in public" is the stupidest shit I've ever heard to be considered "power level".
