Why do people act like Trent working with Lynch is anything new or odd? He produced the Lost Highway sountrack for fuck sake. David also made the Came Back Haunted video, which has some effects that are similar to what have been used in the new Twin Peaks, like the shakey camera. People complain about the movie being nonsensical but then get mad at you when you try and interpret what's happening. This actually applies to most of Lynch's work.
