There are no limits (except the story must be at least 1 word long, and preferably not in excess of 10,000, it's short fiction you fuck).

Some of it sounds better, but just sounding better isn't everything, fitting into the scene is important. Also it bugs me the Curator song is called "Song for Four". I broadly agree with you though.

What with Chibnall apparently doing an overhaul on the series, what would you like to see done differently? Maybe the amount of episodes and length of episodes?

Since its revival, DW has generally been 13 45-minute episodes on consecutive saturday evenings and a Christmas Special (obviously exceptions exist like Tennant's Year of Specials, S6 and S7 being split in two, most finales being a bit longer than 45 minutes).
Would you like to see a change in that? Obviously, within budget plausibility, so no 26 one-hour episodes or anything.
Would you like it if they went back to Classic Who with 25-minute episodes weekly, or maybe on consecutive evenings?

I don't think it's a stretch to think Chibnall might alter the amount and duration of episodes what with declining ratings. DW is usually up against such dross as Britain's Got Talent or some football game or whatever which rakes in the viewers.

Shalka Doctor says he's the 9th incarnation of the Doctor.

I don't think that Shalka Doctor would be the type of personality that would bury his past as the War Doctor and live in denial.

Shalka Doctor was also somewhat impartial and refused to get involved in the mystery, which is quite similar to how Eight was during the Time War.

So at some point in Eight's storyline, perhaps there could be a story where the timeline breaks apart into parallel universes. There are two Eights in two different universes - the main timeline and the splinter one.The splinter one is Shalka's.

People here actually think that? I'd be very surprised if so. Any fan of DW knows the show is about change. I'm always excited when we get a new Doctor, companion, new writers, showrunner etc. Even if a Doctor I really, really enjoyed is about to regenerate, I always see it as a bittersweet moment. We say goodbye to the old actor and remember his finest moments, and we embrace the new Doctor and give him a fair chance at wooing us as all the Doctors before him have done.
