What pisses me off most about his writing since he became showrunner is the way he treats regeneration. It's supposed to be a rare, highly charged moment only used where the only other option is certain death. Between 11 using "regeneration energy" to heal River, the General regenerating purely to show on screen that Time Lords can change gender/colour (for the record I would be fine with a black Doctor if the actor was good but a woman would be shit) and now 12 being able to fake regenerations at will to trick his companion.

Hell Bent made no sense and just convinced me that outwith the Master and possibly Rassilon the show should go nowhere near the Time Lords en mass.

I gotta be honest, buds, I'm pretty hype about the War Doctor boxset. I remember back when the War Doctor boxsets were still new I was really crossing my fingers for Jacobi's Master to meet Hurt's Doctor. I feel like they would work so well together, it sucks that it can never happen now.

After all these years I still find Martha the most attractive and probably the most likeable companion of revived series. I always empathised her as a teenager, I remember even having a huge crush on her. She's always behaving nice to the Doctor who treats her like shit so that I want to hug her. I like her slightly less post series 3 because she grew up from the kind medic student to a Torchwood/UNIT agent and war veteran. Well, people change, but that's good if you remember all the people you used to be.
