I do think for myself. Renoir's schtick was already done by Griffith and social satires already by DeMille and Lubitsch in the late teens and 20's. They have some of their pictures listed on the full list of everything voted for the 2012 poll, but they're not high in placement because most people today haven't seen them and they're not taught in film schools.
