I really really like that Cable's eye glow is sculpted on, that's such a neat touch.

ML has been great lately; there's a few figures I'd say are just short of perfection. I just hope they don't suddenly get cheap again with the tooling. I don't think I can handle another heartbreak like after wave one of the black series where they completely stopped giving a shit and outsourced to the McDonald's toy factory for paint apps.

As much as I'd prefer that it were, this line isn't supposed to be deluxe 12 inch figures that fit in with the 6 inch figures. It would probably sell better if it were, and I'd be interested in it if it were, but it's not what they're trying to do. So while a Giant-Man is maybe possible at some point, it's still unlikely and I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything like a Sentinel or Galactus.

that Spiderman movie brought me back to Marvel Legends.
And by that i mean that fucking awesome Vulture figure (which again - was the first movie sinse the long time that made me think "goddamit i want a figure of that character!").
I dont have picrelated yet but i will try to get it.

What do you think? Should i hurry? This vulture probably will grow in price in the future?

I used to collect Marvel Legends back in those days when they had that line with cool figures like Beast, Mr.Sinister, Omega Red with tentacles.
Then i lost interest when they became less colorful and articulated.

If you're going to try and piecemeal it, then yeah, buy them wherever you can. But at least in the Midwest, Target charges $22-23 for the figures and Walmart isn't like to have them anytime soon because pegs are stuffed with Dormammu and GotG2 wave 1.

I don't want the line, I only want Moon Knight and Homemade Spidey, or I'd be buying the 8 figure wave (and then just return the spare Spidey to a local target, bringing the unit price down to $20/figure).

Titus and Dormammu Wave out the butt, a smattering of Sandman wave, and for some reason still a bunch of Kitty Pryde and Rogues hanging on.

One of the stores is caring the Ultimate Spidey/Vulture 2 pack. None have Vulture wave.

Target has had Vulture wave for over a month, and shortly before that they put all previous Spider-Man waves on sale for about $10 to make room for it.

Wal-Mart isn't moving anything right now. And their $15 clearance stuff hasn't affected stock in months. But the stores with the most available pegspace were, surprise, the first in my area to get Titus wave and Sandman wave.

Also, $15 is their clearance price, so if you're getting Vulture wave not at $18.84 like everything else new, maybe you're just lucky enough to live somewhere where the store managers don't give a damn

Had this same problem with Transformers at a couple Targets about 6 months ago. Some idiot would do facing on the aisle, and just fill up empty pegs with whatever stuff they had in stock, so it didn't look empty.

Almost nothing was in the right spot, and when it was moved to the right pegs they were essentially empty.

No one re-ordered, because they didn't match the peg DPCI to the product, just looked for empty stuff. I finally complained and amazingly it worked. Couple trucks later and everything was full up.

Right? Unfortunately BAFs are what keep this product moving. You can tell when they really fuck up on a BAF. Eventually lots of people finish the BAF or pick up figs for pieces. Some anyway. They certainly fucked up on misty knight by having her piece also in another fig. They'll likely never do that again. That's why keeps some figs from shelf warming, but not when you put the same part in two figs like that.

The bigger stuff is treating characters like they're such big heroes in the universe, like Moongirl or Ironheart. They haven't earned it at all.
