Just bit the bullet and ordered pic related from Robot Kingdom (about $85).

I'm a huge Black Convoy/Scourge fan, and I really like the idea of having a Nemesis Prime that turns into an airplane.

This will be my first experience with this mold. What should I expect?

The one thing that really stopped me from buying the Hasbro TR Op release is the stickers. I hate stickers, and damn near everyone says that the TR Voyagers have some of the worst stickers ever released.

Thankfully, the Black Convoy version is all painted up, and it just looks really sharp to me. $85 was a tough pill to swallow...but I just really like the character and wanted an excuse to try out that triple changer mold.

Call me crazy, but the plane mode alone sold it for me.

I turn the arms sideways under the wings. It makes them look thicker, but ot's better than having cab halves hanging off the sides.

Oddly enough, Octone fixed every issue I had with Optimus' plane mode. I wish the TT Scourge had the sharper wings and the longer nosecone just for uniqueness though.

If you want to keep the titan master, get a 3p helmet, though all of them will look stupidly huge due to the head's size and fragility issues. Renderform has a replacement head plus some other goodies, but unless you want to pay twice the figure's price just fixing it up, you might not be into it.

If you don't mind the Titanmaster losing all functionality, you can cut off the mask and glue it on. It will fix the gap between the head and mask, plus allow you to get rid of that awful chin guard. The Titanmaster won't fit into the cockpit, but he can loosely stand on a Titan peg.

All options require you to take the head off.

My suggestion? Return it and get a 3p or wait for a better figure.

Why did they feel the need to give every TR voyager a stupid pop-up collar gimmick?

I understand the reason could have been that they thought the heads were too small relative to the bodies and needed something to make them look bigger, but they really aren't. It's bad for all their chest engineering as well since we can't have a voyager with any actual chest transformation because they have to fit in some stupid pop-up collar mechanism inside their bodies.

I understand if it's something they chose to do stylistically, like Galvatron's shitty mask or the pop-up crests on Alpha Trion that actually look good, but I find it annoying that it's something voyagers need to do by default since it doesn't even look good on most of them..

As far as retools go though, the only issue is that the new chestpiece doesn't allow for the arm that holds the head to lock in place in any way. It's not really and issue that would make or break a figure though.

There's a lot of precision required in a 5mm port to make them hold pegs with the perfect amount of friction, and having to cut that in half completely ruins it.

You people always have these pie in the sky solutions that you think will magically make every figure perfect, but if you actually stop to think for a minute, you'll realize why they didn't happen. Leave the engineering to the actual engineers.

Yes, Triggerhappy's legs are pretty solid once combined and attached to the torso. A half circle on each leg is preferable to what they're making.

Variety is reporting that actress Hailee Steinfeld is currently in talks for a lead role in the upcoming Bumblebee spinoff. Steinfeld is most well known for her roles in True Grit, Ender’s Game and last year’s The Edge of Seventeen and her performances in two of those films led to nominations for an Oscar and Golden Globe.

While most details are being kept quiet, Hollywood Reporter has claimed that the role will be a tomboy who works as a mechanic after school.

The spinoff, which is currently known as Transformers Universe: Bumblebee, was previously reported to be taking place in the 1980s and will of course be following Bumblebee on an adventure before he first met Sam Witwicky.

The movie was written by Christina Hodson and will be directed by Travis Knight.
