It's missing the Civil War wave with Giant Man BAF
I wish Marvel would show some of that symbiote love (still waiting on 2099 btw) to the Spirits of Vengeance.
>>6237502
I like him.
>>6237506
One of the spear holding hands is on a sideways pivot making it very easy to hold the spear. Someone at Hasbro must have been paying attention that day.
>>6237487
What is Jason Statham doing in the Deadpool wave?
I thought the Vulture 2 pack was in the 3 3/4 in format like the Shocker one?
>>6237508
The cape has an actual clasp, so you dont have to take the head off to remove it, wich is very nice. Unfortunately, it just hangs around his neck instead of pegging into back, so it likes to flop around and needs to constantly be adjusted.
>>6237511
>Maybe it's time to set up a google doc like they've got for the Gunpla/Plamo General?
Ok, do it then.
>>6237510
>>6237524
Looks pretty good, but I think it's long past time for Hasbro to retire the buckycap mold.
>>6237510
They couldnt have made a new cape?
>>6237509
You're wrong on both
>>6237517
Alright, I'll work something up.
>>6237536
There are no original parts on that figure
How do I remove the items numbers in the legs of my Marvel Legends? Is painting over them the only option?
>>6237566
Scratch them off with an x acto knife, then run the spot with your finger
>>6237554
I know but I figured they could be bothered to not use a cape thats 10 years old
>>6237566
Lacquer thinner, nail polish remover. Obviously be careful around the other paint apps.
>>6237601
>I still can't believe they made this guy on the same mold
I wish they had used the new Sunfire mold.
>>6237606
2099 and Sunfire are the same
Black Panther UPC for anyone interested.
>>6237685
that is such a great sculpt.
Hot Toys quality.
>>6237689
Nah, Legends have had such shit sculpting for so long that it just FEELS like a Hot Toys.
>>6237693
but thats wrong since the previous GLA figures had amazing sculpts too.
>>6237508
that wrist has got me fucking hyped
two hand guns here we come
>>6237508
>One of the spear holding hands is on a sideways pivot making it very easy to hold the spear. Someone at Hasbro must have been paying attention that day.
That's nothing special.
Hasbro has known about that secret articulation since the GI Joe line.
>>6237753
It's not that it's some new development, but that it's something Hasbro rarely thinks to do it for legends even though it would be very helpful if they did for a lot of their figures.
>>6237753
That makes it even worse then, because they've been getting it wrong pretty consistently lately. Angela, punisher, nico, shatterstar, it seems like everyone with a sword or gun gets wrists hinges that are pretty much useless.
>>6237784
Angela got a vertical hinge in her left hand.
What's a good, easy to get trident I can use with walgreens namor? The one he comes with is too big, I'm afraid I'm gonna fuck up his hand if I leave it in there.
>>6234786
Another X-men shelf update, Storm came today. I can't decide which Wolverine to use in this display, brown or yellow suit? He wore both in the 90's Jim Lee run.
>>6237931
Jim Lee would want you to use the yellow suit.
Shatterstar owns
>>6237936
The pic may help
>>6236848
Not sure what I'm supposed to see.
The only Kraven there is the crappy one I mentioned earlier, or maybe I'm missing something
>>6237937
Is that the new figure? How is he? Always loved his 90's design.
>>6237935
Ok, here you go Mr. Lee.
My updated Spider-Shelf. Superior Venom and Spider-Carnage are only here temporarily. Debating whether black suit Spidey should be here or on the symbiote shelf.
>>6237953
By the way, in case you didn't know what the story behind that comment was; when Jim Lee first put Logan back in the yellow costume, he bragged to John Byrne that he gave Wolverine his "real" costume back..not knowing Byrne gave him the brown costume.
Anyway, looks cool, just needs a red/blue Jean. I need to start completing that team myself.
Worth getting? Ghost Rider needs someone to fight
>>6237988
Not really. Very gummy limbs. Seek out the Ghost Rider movie vengeance
>>6237992
And sacrifice the pocket bike and purple pants? Please. Maybe Hasbro will redo him.
>>6237937
>hiding feet
I see your game.
I'm slowpoking here a bit, but my stores recently got in the Sandman wave at last.
Found full stock at one store and decided to get black suit Spider-Man and Green Goblin.
Both are great. I expected Spidey to be but Gobby especially surprised me because I might actually like him more than ToyBiz's, which is one of my all-time favorites to begin with. The articulation on the new one is better, outside of the useless and honestly really ugly finger hinges.
Deluxe Punishers are now popping up at local comic shops
>>6238016
A question was ask. That said The bike can be pick up on it's own.
>>6238034
Hasbro has been stepping up their game the last few waves
>>6238034
He really is better than he has any right to be. The head helps him out a ton, I know some people prefer the old style toybiz head, but the new one absolutely nails the look it's going for. Also, Machine man's hands are a perfect fit both peg-wise and color, if you want him to hold stuff.
>>6237981
I really want the Rocket Raccoon wave Jean, but she sales for way more than I'm willing to pay for her. I would even take a bootleg if I could find one. No such luck yet.
>>6238056
I own it and its really not a great figure and it needs a serious update right now.
It also has derpy eyes syndrome. Even at release I haven't seen one with good eyes.
>>6237937
I didn't know you posted here Rob, when are we getting the shelf titty Cap baf?
>>6238034
I like the toybiz one cause Im a hobgoblin fan. I think the mold hasbro has and everything they have works for hobgoblin.I like the two to look different in body shape.
>>6238059
Are you willing to sell or trade it? I need that figure.
>>6238067
Nah sorry bro.
Its the only option right now just like Jim Lee's Cyclops back then.
>>6238016
If they did they might do the new version which would probably look cool under a blacklight with all that green.
So, I like Spider-Gwen's design, but her comic is shit, and I really like her Revoltech figure. Do you guys think she'll be worth it? I'm already getting Spidey and Venom.
>>6237490
No it's between the Red Onslaught and Juggernaut waves.
>>6238224
I don't read her shitty comics and I bought her shitty ML because I love the suit.
I'd say buy it.
>>6238224
I heard her comics were shit and just reading summaries of it, it really put me off from checking further. That said, I still think it's a pretty GOAT design in of itself so why not.
>>6238227
That's the regular Giant Man wave, you idiot
>>6237988
Theirs always blackheart
>>6238298
It's basically similar to the Hulkbuster BAF UK release which is also listed there.
Funnily enough, Said Hulkbuster series also popped up here in AU and from what I've seen, the same thing is happening with that new Giant Man series.
>>6237524
pretty sure if it were down to a vote people wouldn't opt for these furrowed brow lines
my one real complaint with Deadpool
>>6238224
I'm pretty much in the same boat and yes i'll be getting the Revoltech. Dynamically articulated female figures are pretty rare and she'll fit in with the others so i figure why not. plus that GOAT design
>>6237952
I like him for what hes worth. Hasbro put a nice attn to detail to his goofy 90s look.
Is this Spider-Man the 18" super articulated one or a different one
>>6238634
Aaaand i'm an idiot
>>6238638
Yeah that's the super-articulated one. I remember because its proportions were distinctly more comic-styled.
>>6238638
Go home Hopper, you're drunk.
>>6238224
you know, I actually don't mind her design but hate the fact that it's GWEN. I'd have been legit excited for it if it were some new character, not some revived dead character whose death actually meant something.
That aside though, the revoltech actually looks good to me. The only one out of the Marvel revoltechs that don't look that good to me is Spider-Man, the rest of them look great to me. Really really really really can't wait for Venom.
>>6238685
>Revived
You don't know shit about the character
>>6238689
Not that anon, but multiverse shenanigans might as well be reviving the character.
>>6238016
>not getting a 1:12 scale Ghost Rider bike that can also transform into a Ghost Rider
Stay pleb
>>6238689
Anon, pulling someones clone from another dimension counts as a revival. They're still bringing that character back.
Also yeah, Gwen should've stayed dead forever. She's like Barry as the Flash, he was literally better off dead forever and bringing him back was a complete mistake, because their deaths actually had meaningful impact in comics and bridged to new areas for them.
>>6238224
Yeah she's probably worth it if you like the design. I really want the revo's but the prices are high as fuck thanks to Japan's shitty economy.
>>6238701
It looks like shit in both modes though. If they'd just retooled Animated Oil Slick this would have worked out so much better.
>>6238723
>looks shit in both modes
Eh, I like it. Aftermarket prices are rape tier, though
>>6238706
>Anon, pulling someones clone from another dimension counts as a revival
Only if they're essentially the same as their normal dimension counterpart and it's treated as such. Like if there was an alternate universe where everything was mostly the same so their Gwenw as essentially just 616 Gwen, and she eventually got stuck in 616 and everyone just acted like she was the old Gwen Stacy and everything went along as usual, that'd be a revival.
An alternate universe version whose circumstances are entirely different and who plays an entirely different role is not.
>>6238723
>>6238734
Why not just get the old Toy Biz Ghost Rider bike? It's pretty much perfect.
Is there any advantage to pre-ordering something from Mezco's site as opposed to Amiami other than price? Like do they offer cancellations?
>>6238981
Don't order from Mezco's site. Terrible customer service, high shipping costs, and they often ship stuff later than other retailers.
>>6238984
So where do you recommend? I've had a pre-order in at Mezco's site for like 6 months (fucking Shazam). If I can get it slightly cheaper and shipped sooner (if it ever ships) elsewhere, I'll do that.
>>6238948
If I buy a Toy Biz GR, it's gonna be the phasing variant.
>>6238986
bbts
>>6238706
>Also yeah, Gwen should've stayed dead forever.
The thing I hate about this is then in other adaptations everyone goes "Gwen is supposed to die" and I hate that. Any character can die and I think if they're known for dying it behooves a writer to NOT kill them off in a adaptation. What was shocking about Gwen dying is no one knew she was going to die. Fulfilling expectations and throwing away the character isn't shocking. Killing Mary Jane in the movies would have been shocking cause she's not "supposed" to die. Killing Gwen is just plain fucking dumb. At least they didn't bring her back to kill her.
>>6238249
Well Maybe you should make a new version instead of being a prick.
>>6238994
Gwen dying in ASM2 apparently had quite a few non-comic watchers surprised. And so far that's the only adaptation of Gwen's death there's been, as far as I know.
The first Raimi movie did play on expectations by putting MJ in Gwen's place, but she survives.
Has hope summers aged well? Worth 25 bucks, at least? I'm going through some older x-men stuff and I kind of want to pick up some characters I've missed.
>>6239022
I actually didn't think they were gonna do it if only because she was one of the only good things the ASM movies had going for them. And it was a really weird choice to kill her off literally right before the ending and cram the whole peter-is-depressed-but-then-motivated-again thing into the last 5 minutes of the movie.
>>6238994
>Any character can die and I think if they're known for dying it behooves a writer to NOT kill them off in a adaptation
Tell that to Jean Grey. Bitch made dying into an Olympic Sport by this point.
>>6239022
>Gwen dying in ASM2 apparently had quite a few non-comic watchers surprised.
I mean, how many? Is there really a way to know these numbers? I have to assume the knowledge of her death in comics over-takes the ignorance of the comics. At this point now, I would say, no more! Let your characters be characters, not dramatic set pieces. Gwens death was spider-man failing to save someone and Green Goblin killing someone he loved. There's are not things that define Gwen as a character.
>>6239042
Yea, it's a joke at this point. I think the comics have self-referenced jeans death now. Writers never seem to look the impact. Why kill the character? It seems to be shock value, and that's..... marvel. They don't seem to have an interest in narrative and more an interest in moments.
>>6238829
please actually read comic book before you give your opinion on them?
Spider-Gwen is a story that takes place in an alternate universe where Gwen became spider-woman and Peter Parker is the one who dies, but hey, who needs to read.
>>6239121
I used the flash to my advantage
>>6239082
Uh, I don't know why you're replying to me? I clearly know that. I'm the one saying Spider-Gwen isn't a revival of the original Gwen Stacy character, because that is not the case with Spider-Gwen
Is fifty five bail out tickets a good price for these two shipped if I'm not in the US?
>>6239272
No.
Disco is terrible. It's just a repaint of War Machine mk II, and not a very good one. If you can find War Machine mk III by itself, just do that (or wait for the UK exclusive in the Giant-Man wave... or get the Japanese equivalent). I paid full price for that set, and it was basically like paying double-retail for mk III.
>>6239307
I actually wanted Disco as an Iron Man suit for Chameleon but, yeah, I haven't heard a single good comment on that mold.
What could be a good substitute, though?
>>6239325
For Disco?
Iron Skull at least has better ankles and wrists. And you can probably get it cheap and repaint it yourself. Or if you really need that mold, just get WMmk2 from the US Hulkbuster wave and repaint it.

>>6239367
Yeah, but not nearly the length of your own head.
>>6239391
They actually are pretty close unless you have a stunted ogre neck.
>>6238689
boo fucking hoo anon, still a shit decision to have Gwen as Spider-___ instead of having an entirely new character. As if having a dead character in some alt-universe popping up, "oh in this world she isn't dead!" isn't reviving it for easy money and attention.
>>6239355
>you're boring and need to be aborted as a full grown manbaby
>>6239419
an alt universe version is a new character when the only thing they share is a name.
What alternate universe do you live in where comics aren't specifically made for money and attention anyway?
>>6239415
>calling others autistic for not liking the same things as you
You do realize that not being able to relate with people who don't like deformed figures is pretty autistic, right?
>>6239460
>calling others autistic for being autistic about a fucking neck
What says you?
>>6239478

wow superhero fans do contain some of the worst, even in boards like these
>>6239573
>even in boards like these
I bet you fell for the "/co/ is love" meme too, didn't you?
Anyone here gotten a Chinese bootleg Sideshow toy before? There's some real cheap Wolverine bootlegs that seem tempting.
>>6239575
no, I meant 4chan in its entirety. I'm amazed by how a board about toys still have to turn into pointless arguing about superhero comics where consistency about anything is not something people should be liking it for or hoping from
>>6239581
That's because superhero fans are cancer.
Gunpla, Nerfags, and Scale Model threads are a lot more chill and less autistic from what I've seen.
>>6239587
super pretentious too for a bunch of people who like glorified monthly ads for Disney movies
I'm just waiting for more companies to do more figures that are accurate to the X-Men's classic costumes
>>6239573
>wow superhero fans do contain some of the worst, even in boards like these
It's not superhero fans. It's mostly a brand thing.
It's mostly noticeable when Japanese brands start making something new, because of the amount of weeaboos there are. See how Star Wars, Predator/Alien, and Marvel threads were before another brand got the license.
The Star Wars stuff was a very stark before and after, since Star Wars threads weren't that popular on /toy/ until recently (around 2012)
It's almost always just people crying that you're not allowed to dislike figure by Brand X and criticism for any reason of Brand X's figure is trolling.
SSDD.
>>6238340
I guess it makes sense, as UK and beyond dudes don't usually have easy access to the Walmart/Etc. exclusives otherwise.
>>6238056
There's a bootleg of her and Hawkeye and Archangel floating around eBay. Kind of hard to find, I see it listed sometimes and sometimes not. Someone on YT bought the archangel and it's missing articulation and has smaller wings. Not too hopeful for the others because of this.

Imagine being a SW fan. All your life you've been collecting those crappy 4inch figures the old way.
Suddenly hasbro releases the black series out of the blue. At this point you're struggling, to buy them/start a new collection perhaps. They're more expensive, they're out of scale, you're torn. But they're objectively better in every way. IMMEDIATELY japs jump on the SW dick, just as you justified scalping 40 stormtroopers.
You either go full defense mode standing by your purchase and try to shitpost japshit away, or say fuck it and try to get them.
Here the average SW buyfag feels cornered. Where to buy? What is a preorder? What's a webshop exclusive? Why is it so expensive? How will I armybuild?
Sour grapes everywhere, shitposting ensues.
They criticised everything to death japs made, and when it failed they went full LMAO WEEABOO USA USA USA.
>>6240108
I never really got the whole anti-Japanese sentiment. I collected SW figures for so many years in 3 3/4 scale and yet I still found myself feeling happy about the conception of the Black Series and how Japanese companies followed suit in making 6" figures making for a nice selection of figures to choose from.
I mean, I know shitposting is a 4chan thing but jesus.
>>6240112
its probably just the price and they only do like 1-2 main characters then forget it and redo them again later on in life
>>6240108
>You either go full defense mode standing by your purchase and try to shitpost japshit away, or say fuck it and try to get them.
are people this insecure? Like fuck, just buy what you like, if you don't like it, sell it. If a "better" one comes out, replace it in your collection? Who gives a fuck? idk, I guess Im pretty comfortable in my collection I don't care what other people think. I mean fuck, I collect toys, most people think that's weird as fuck as it is, who has time for US vs jap arguments?
Back to the initial topic of this thread, Walgreens has begun to receive their Warlock wave/finally do warehousing, so get 'em while they're hot!
>>6240172
Bought the 6 BAF figures at Walgreens last night.
>>6240172
is their sale over? i know it was only for their exclusives and spider-man legends, but I could easily suggest to get x-men stuff for 12.99 from them.
Can someone 'splain to me why retailers are getting the Warlock wave and online stores aren't even being allowed to put anything up for preorder?
>>6240203
It is a curious thing. But this happened before, I think, with another wave...I think.
>>6240197
Sweet, I had a Logan from target about two weeks ago, only really wanted Cyclops. I kinda want dazzler and Lorna, but I'll wait for them to bin.
>>6240202
I'm in IL, Chicago specifically.
>>6240202
Sale is over, I believe it was to make room for this wave. Most near me are still choking beneath Yellowdevil and Namor...oh and Antman.
>>6240198
SE Texas.
>>6240203
because x-men isn't a movie wave. Movie waves have more planned release dates, due to film dates and cross-promotion deals. Comic only waves really are meant for retailers to fill their stock at their leisure. Stores needed the stock. Gotg VOl 2 wave 2 has to wait, because it's a movie wave, x-men doesn't.
>>6240211
>I'm in IL, Chicago specifically.
Oh shit, nice. Usually we're the last to get stuff.
>>6238734
Get a 1/10 Orange County Choppers bike.
>>6240320
I was looking at those, recently. GR looks badass on there, I think I might buy one. What model is yours in the pic?
>>6240333
Comanche bike. It's dark green and I planned to paint it initially, but in person it's pretty dark so I decided to just keep it like that.
What the fuck happened to him?
>>6240408
This was when Hasbro showed but didn't release a shit load of figures, god knows why.
>>6240408
Good question anon...
>>6240408
Got canceled.
He was in the revision case for the Epic Heroes wave. The first case got released but the revision case was completely canceled which also include Dani Moonstar.
>>6240421
Weren't there some leaks that said he was coming back around toyfair, and some of those leaks were true?
Does he still have a chance?
>>6240425
There was a rumor that he was going to be a Walgreens exclusive.
I think we'll get him but I bet it's a different version than the prototype. They'll probably use the same head but give him one of the new bodies. That trenchcoat body is so outdated and bad.
Somebody made a custom kraven..
http://m.imgur.com/a/n1dGG
>>6240424
Cause they didn't have a BAF for that wave so Hasbro included the figure stands instead.
The whole Epic Heroes wave was just a bunch of redecoed figures with mostly just new heads and reused bodies and accessories. Hasbro did it just to push out a new wave very quickly to fill in a void in their schedule.
>>6240430
I hope so. I really want a comic Blade.
>>6240436
Blade is supposed to be in the Netflix Legends wave. No tv show or movie is in the works so I'd assume he's a comic version.
>>6240432
You can just say you made it.
>>6240421
I'd have preferred that Rogue to the 90s one.
>>6240463
Not to be rude, but you're an idiot.
>>6240432
look at the fuckin schnozz on that dude
very well done otherwise
>>6240454
No, I definitely didn't make it. I found it on the website that I shall not name.
>>6240504
Quit being autistic and just say reddit ffs
>>6240464
Hey now, everyone is entitled to their opinion...even if their opinion is incorrect.
>>6240504
I dunno man, the guy who did make it is spamming it on every site he can think of.
Along with Reddit, I saw it on Something Awful. Really guys, can't we all get along, no matter what site we're on?
Anyways, as to why I'm here, I saw the new GotG Select wave. How does Groot and Rocket scale in with the new Legends? Anyone have pics? Thanks.
Clarifying that I saw it in a SoCal Disney Store. Why Disney doesn't have the new Legends is beyond me....
>>6240566
Because they own Marvel?
>>6240564
I don't have them, but Groot should definitely work. Groot's size can fluctuate, but most bigger character Selects look fine with Legends anyway.
>>6240432
now THATS the Kraven I want
>>6240566
>>6240574
I wish my Disney store has Legends, mine's only got Selects
>>6240650
The Ant-Man wave are the only Legends I've seen at Disney Stores. There is a Wasp that's still clearanced at my local one.
>>6239307
I paid $11.95 for that set on target clearance.
>all I want is cyclops
>can't fucking find him
>>6240112
>I never really got the whole anti-Japanese sentiment.
There really isn't one.
It's more of an anti-weeaboo sentiment, because weeaboos lose their shit if anyone says anything negative about their brands.
That happens with western brands too, but it it's more noticeable with weeaboos because their louder about it.
>>6240669
As far as I can tell they haven't even shown up at any retailer within 20 miles of me.
Our walgreens still have full stock of figures from 3 waves ago, walmart has had a space cleared for them for about 3 weeks and hasn't gotten any in, and the six targets here haven't gotten anything in, but one somehow got a case of the old xmen wave.
North of that is frank n sons territory, and even if they did hit there they'd be gone to scalpers instantly.
Colossus is great. Easily one of my favorite Legends figures as of late. Had no idea he would impress me this much. I was surprised at the heft and size of the figure, not to mention that I liked his ankle articulation (was posing AoU Hulk the other day and his feet make things difficult.) The bearded headsculpt is a great addition as well. The outfit really threw me off when it was first shown but it's really grown on me.
Dazzler is a lot of fun but I really wish she had better ankle articulation and the skates make standing a little difficult (at least for me). She looks good though and I love the little microphone.
>>6237953
Not trying to be a nitpicky dick but it would look cool if you gray background and a gray shelf
>>6240463
Me too anon
>>6240463
Count me in with that one. While 90s Rogue is nice, the white/green combination really grew on me.
>>6240108
gee, I wonder what your side of the issue is
Anyone have a creative solution for a a cosmic cube for Nick Fury to hold?
>>6241060
I've actually got the one from the...Red Skull figure, I think? My friend gave it to me after he dumped the figure itself, which was admittedly pretty lame. Not sure what he's going for nowadays. Maybe a blue colored dice?
>>6241060
comic starlord comes with something like that
>>6240669
Patience man. The official release date for these is 4/15. Once all the big etailers and rest of the big box stores flood them, cyclops will drop a ton in price.
>>6241061
>>6241072
Thanks. I'm thinking I'll just make my own, I just need to find the right material. Also, I want to pick up a couple of these guns for Falcon. It's a shame he didn't come with any weapons in the first place.
>>6241060
For around $15 on ebay you can get a Comic Rocket Raccoon with guns, potted Groot, and the cube.
>>6241060
>comic Ant-man in a MCU display
Our Avengers are opposites
Do the joints on the new X-Men figures feel a little...loose to anyone else? My Shatterstar is especially loose in places.
Damn, my Kamala's elbow peg just snapped, I wasn't even looking at her, just fiddling with the figure.
How accurate is that Brickseek thing? She's apparently at stores all around me, but I've never seen her outside of this one. Is it based off what's in the back or something?
>>6241081
If you're willing to deal with a fairly easy model kit, the little armory MP7 kit comes with two that fit his hands and look alright with him. Only problem is one has the stock extended.
>>6241170
Mine is a bit too tight, a little worried about ham-handing it.
>>6241100
You have clusterfuck. MCU Hulk, Iron Man, War Machine, Giant Man. Black Panther, and comic everyone else.
>>6241060
I got a DCUC Young Justice Aqualad at Half Price Books over a year ago and wound up cutting his "water hammer" accessory down into two Cosmic Cubes. They're a little large, but I'm fine with them.
>>6241060
The board game Pandemic has little blue, semitranslucent cubes as markers.
>>6241073
I didn't know that. I feel like an idiot now
>>6240425
they didnt confirm anything, they just said "if we were going to give you blade, it would not be the old one you saw, we'd update it"
The way the guy says it, it's like he's saying "there's a new blade on the way, it's not the old one, it's an update"
I guess he's worth the 1.29 I paid for him, idk.
>>6241628
>tfw cyclops is more expensive than Revan
>>6241643
I should have bought that new 2099 when it was like $25 on Amazon. The price just keeps rising. And since I live in scalperville USA I'm never going to actually see one in person. In fact, I've never seen any of that wave ever--not even the less desirable figs from it.
Is the Sandman BAF the exact same as the SDCC raft one? Can I use the baf sand hands and weapons on the sdcc one anyone have pics?
>>6241663
Same here, had to grab him off ebay loose. Only figure from this wave I've seen in retail was a Shocker box that someone had stuck a Morbius in.
>>6241678
The BAF has different colored arms and torso, they're green while the SDCC one is brown. You certainly can swap the arms out at the shoulders, but it looks terrible.
>>6241663
Do you care about the BAF part? 'Cuase there're a couple on ebay loose for like 17 shipped, I don't think he's really that rare.
the new 2099 is pretty dope but there's something about the costume styling that makes it look like he got bit by a radioactive sneaker
>reading through uncanny x-men
>hey, I wonder how much magik goes for nowadays
>oh
They really need to just do a retail release for her, they've done damned near everyone else in the vishanti set.
>>6241696
thanks. I figured I could paint the green shoulders of the arms brown and pop em in. Now just to find the damn arms...
>>6240172
>>6240211
Thanks to the anon for the info on Walgreen's getting the Warlock wave.
I went to my usual one and finally scored Cyclops after missing out on him several times at Target.
>>6241737
Grrrr. I went to 5 Walgreen's around here. I got the whole wave MINUS Cyclops and Sunfire.
Fucking 3 stores had Dazzler! I figured she'd be hard to get. But nope...
Two stores didn't have any of the new X-Men at all, just loads and loads of Namor. I hate Namor.
>>6241628
That's all good, but I wouldn't be bragging about it. It's still a completely shite figure.
>>6241749
I went to one and all they had was Dazzler, Sunfire, Polaris, and Shatterstar.
The next one I went to, which is the one I usually go to since it seems to always have the new figures, and they only had Colossus; Cyclops; and Logan. In fact they had 6 Logans so the store must have gotten 3 cases in.
>>6241772
Plastic quality is pretty bad and his head snapped right off when I tried to use the neck hinge, but it's my first Toy Biz Legend, so I'm having fun.
>>6241663
They're supposed to ship to retailers again closer to the Spidey movie release.
>>6241785
I swung by three on the way home, nothing to speak of at any of them, just daredevils and a couple dormammu wave leftovers. I'm looking for colossus and shatterstar, I don't suppose you'd be willing to middleman those two if you run into them again?
>>6241663
I bought black Spidey,Uk and 2099 for 26 shipped loose at Ebay yesterday.
Just scout Ebay bro its really cheap shit I think I saw someone selling one for 18 bucks the other day.
>>6241737
No problem dude, glad to hear a success story!
>>6241816
This. Got cable, rogue, and wolverine for 30 last month

>>6241628
Longshot was my dude back in the day but I could never bring myself to buy the toy.
>>6241825
Mine was hiding Punisher and Namor on a random sidecap away from the rest of the toys.
>>6241737
>>6240172
Found Cyclops today as well, they had Old Man Logan and Dazzler, but fuck those guys. Go early and ask employees. I'm in Ohio, and we're always the last to get any toys.
>>6241904
is that psylocke in the pink?
>>6237963
Any chance you would you would be willing to hook a brother up with the unmasked head of Silk?
>>6240463
Maybe we'll luck out and they'll put that costume on a newer body in a two-pack with Gambit.
I still really want Gladiator, the Annihilus BAF and a bigger shelf...
>>6241643
Is your nu2099's head a bit loose on the ball joint too? Got one today and his head kinda bobbles around somewhat easily.
>>6242156
Yes, sits a little too high as well, but it helps with range of motion I guess
>>6242176
>sits a little too high
Yeah, that's annoying. I was thinking about just painting him blue and moving all of cyclops' straps and harnesses onto him, but that neck is wayyy too long.
>>6242181
The massive traps and low/small shoulders are also a problem, as was the case with Wolverine, MCU Spider-Man, and almost any other character with butterfly joints. I guess they design them this way for durability or something, but it looks odd
>>6242251
Wait a minute.
Hasbro made a Luchador Spider-Man?
Went Walgreens shopping tonight. Only saw an old man logan and dazzler passed on both. Sure im going to regret on passing on logan but he just doesnt look great to me. Someone else will enjoy him im sure
Anybody know what X-Men comic run the outfit the new Colossus is wearing is specifically based on? X-Men's sucked for years now so I haven't been reading and there's obviously plenty of past runs I missed as well. Just curious really.
>>6242280
Nah, that's 2099's new costume, but he is of mexican decent.
>>6242289
Can't believe we didn't get clawed hands or rocket thrusts. Hasbro's been dickin us hard with these barebone figures lately
>>6242291
I am surprised that we didn't get any swappable hands, but I'm guessing that all the paint apps on the hands were too much effort for Hasbro to do more than once.
As for rocket effect parts, well, I'm not surprised. Hasbro has never been generous with effects.
>>6242288
>X-Men's sucked for years
News flash:
It still sucks. I can't believe how badly they've ruined the X-Universe over the last 5 to 10 years.
>>6242291
The blasts that came with civil war iron man work very well with him, but yeah they should have included a set. Not coming with claws though, that's a travesty.
>>6241199
I gave my 3.75" one the pistols from robertcops. They are actually quite well made with the trigger and trigger-guard fully sculpted. The 6" robertcop's ones should work fine for the ML.
Any Marvel Legends guns that would work well with Falcon?
>>6241081
I have my Falcon rocking the Mac 10s from the NECA Harley Quinn
Only spotted sunfire and Polaris on my Walgreens hunt tonight. Passed on both. Couple of the ones I had been to said they already got stock but were going to be expecting more next trucks so don't give up anons.
>>6242357
>>6242342
>>6242303
>>6241081
The Streyer SPP's are the guns he uses in the movie according to the Internet Firearm Database. No idea of a toy equivalent, though some come close.
>>6242291
I've noticed that, lately anyway, like half a wave or so will have a good amount of fitting accessories or just general things that compliment the figure (Kitty, Cable, Angela, and Star-Lord, for example), but there's always one or two figures who are basically glorified repaints with nothing aside from the BaF part (Jean, Spider-Bitch). And the remaining figures either get really nice paint or extra hands.
I'm not sure if it's just a budget thing, or if it's intentional, as that BaF part on the lamer figure of the wave tends to be the torso or head.
>>6242357
>giantass MACs
kinda missing the point of that gun.
>>6242291
this... is spider-man??? am i the only one who thinks this is a bad design even for a 209786 Spider-Man???
>>6242505

>>6242505
Yeah, it is pretty bad, but it's Spiderman from 2099.

>get busty Rogue
>forced to buy Gambit as well

>>6242357
That's...a good idea. Shit, maybe I'll look into grabbing her just for those.
In other news, I scored the Groot 3-pack from the Quail TRU in OKC.
So this thought occurred to me when I watched the first episode of ironfist yesterday.
Has anyone tried putting IF's hand wraps on Logsn? Hows it look?
>>6242773
nice johnny karate custom
>>6242296
Its crazy how much of it relates to the movies. Not even the whole keep away game but like when they made all the cast copy the film in looks and powers. Very low point.
>>6242296
Try last 30 years. 90s hurt everything and then they ape the films, now they go full 180 to whatever the films are.
I am stupidly mad we haven't had a steady team since the 90s
>>6242815
I was going for hobo Danny rand head with the suit.
Thank you based Walgreens. Thank you anon for tipping off Walgreens had them. Now to just find Black Panther and hopefully I can take a bit of a break until the next round.
I grabbed Shatterstar but not sure if I want to keep him. I scored colossus at a Target. Finally got over my autism and asked them to check the back and they had a fresh case.
I noticed all the 24 hour walgreens got trucks in this morning the regular hour ones did not. Try asking if they got any. I wish everyone luck in their hunt.
>>6242891

Any anons in the Los Angeles Area. I left you a Cyclops on the shelf at the Walgreens on The corner of Santa Monica blvd and Beverly Glen.
They also have the rest of the wave in the back just ask but I pulled a cyclops and put it on the shelf. Enjoy!

It just doesn't make any sense. Comics don't advertise movies, movies advertise comics. I'm not saying you have to make tons of X-Mem merch (though I'd appreciate it) but there's no use at in making your X-Men books suck. Also it's making everybody hate the Inhumans when previously they were just on the fence.
I want to make a collection of the UMvC3 roster. How tough is this going to be? What are the best versions of certain characters to grab?
>>6242990
Probably Pittsburgh and surrounding area
Who is the best symbiote fig?
>>6242830
You're dumb.
There have been steady teams, you just don't read the comics.
And yes, the past 8 years or so have sucked supremely. Before that it was so damn iffy, ranging from meh to eh.
>>6241704
Looks more like radioactive toothpaste to me, but I still dig it.
Is it worth it to go to a walmart in Compton CA? Thats the closest with the most stock of spiderman figs. Or will i get shot and or raped

>>6243364
This. I got the select for bladed ands but it ended up just looking odd so i went back to this one.
I just bought the raft spiderman. What am I in for? What are some good hands to use with him? Im sad theres a lack of thwiping hands.
>Brickseek alert for xmen
>Local target has had 8 of the old xmen wave since I started looking
>Quantity jumped to 11
I... what?
This doesn't feel like a new case. Just 3?
>>6243443
Returns? Watch put for swaps?
What are good stands for Marvel Legends? Female figures and Iceman keep falling off my shelves.
>>6243455
Maybe. Its been at 8 for 3 weeks.
>>6243457
Obitsu or stage act 4
>>6243457
I bought some bootlegs of the stands old the Epic Heroes wave and a few other waves came with. They're alright. Marvel Legends feet don't have uniform peghole sizes, though, so they're only useful for certain figures. So I'd go with Tamashii stages.
>>6243443
Its possible someone a worker or a scalper got to the case before it was scanned in? I dont know how this shit works but its possible they were bought before target updated its stock numbers thats just my guess.
>>6242986
Has anyone claimed this yet? Im thinking about driving there but its far for me.
>>6239127
so did I
>>6243532
I see what you did there.
>>6243370
I like classic Venom but he's on the somewhat controversial Hyperion mold. He has a chest shelf when standing straight and his arms seem a little stubby but the articulation is pretty great.
Also the alternate tongue head is perfect. The McFarlane head is alright too I guess.
Anti-Venom is basically the same thing but in white and with a spike backpack.
Of the two I prefer regular Venom, though.
>>6242539
The Doctor Strange wave was on sale at my TRU and I got that Iron Fist. The wrapped hands pop off super easy
>>6240733
Is her collar a separate piece? I haven't seen a shot that shows a seam.
I picked up Sunfire, Star Lord, and Darkhawk today. Im not super excited by the Darkhawk but I loved him in the comics so I grabbed it up.
>>6242357
I saw a bunch of your pics on... Another site and I love the lighting, so in other words, pic related!
I just got Darkhawk, and I really like him.
The wing is really warped though. What's the best way to fix it?
>>6243695
Heat then cold. Simplest is taking a hair dryer to it till it is very warm/soft, force it the way you want then either soak it in ice cold water or place it in the freezer.
>>6243191
Carnage Select. Easy.
>>6243370
I think the Legends figures are the better figures since I value articulation, but the Selects blow the Legends out of the water sculpt wise.
>>6243701
>>6243695
I microwave a bowl of water, until it's just about too hot too touch. Then I dunk the problem part in that for a few seconds.
I have another bowl on the side with cool water in it. I don't go too cold, I worry about temperature changes affecting paint apps. Drop the part (or whole fig, whatever) in there.
Helps if you can have something to hold the part in position. For Logan's claws I used beads as spacers. For Wolverine's head points I just had to hold in place in the cold water. Bent weapons can be flattened by whatever is big enough and heavy, like a can of beans.
I just want Malekith. Any version really.
>>6243682
Well, here's my typical setup.
>>6243523
This makes the most sense. The target server and the brickseek server both have to update. If the case is received and items sold before making it to the shelf, they would go from stockroom to sold and never even be listed as a shelf item.
If I worked at target Id do this, retail is a shit job and this seems like a minor perk of working there.
>>6241909
You can find MLs at Walgreens in the poorer parts of Cuyahoga County, if you're not a pussy
>>6243725
BaF for the wave could be Yggdrasil
>>6243016

>>6244426

So happy to finally have these two together
>>6244412
Idunno, but what we got was better.
Wolverine only has those nub things on his gloves, doesnt make sense when theyre on his hands.
They were probably just reusing a gloved wolverine sculpt in that prototype photo
What are some of the best Iron Man figures that scale well/would look decent with One:12 Collective? (if you don't own any they're about the same scale as MLs or like very slightly bigger)
Right now I have Armorize Iron Man who is pretty tall but given that he has armor on actually looks really great with them but I kind of hate a lot of things about that figure due to the removable armor, it's disappointing especially for the price.
But there's like 8 trillion Iron Man figures and I don't know where to start because I don't really know how tall most of them are, and I suspect that Figuarts might be too short, etc. and I also like don't really know which ones have been standouts quality-wise
>>6244731
You could try the marvel select Iron Man from the civil war movie. He's well articulated and undersized for a select, but fits in with ML
>>6244738
Thank you, it just looks like shit IMO though. I like Marvel Select, don't get me wrong. I love that Disney Store exclusive Thor, I love Carnage even though he kind of scales with nothing, I really fucking love their Juggernaut, I love the Avengers Hulk.
But I have never seen an ML or MS figure of a movie Iron Man suit that I thought looked good. I think to come out well the designs just need to like consist of a larger number of pieces and have a larger number of paint apps than are possible at the like $20 price point idk.
>>6244731
>>6244749
My frustration with this and I guess the reason I'm asking is that off the top of my head as someone who has only sort of been paying attention is that my options for a nice-looking Iron Man that would scale well are:
MAFEX, which in my experience are generally flimsy crap
RE:edit, which cost like 200 fucking dollars
The Armorize one I already have
But like I said there's a million Iron Man figures and I don't actually know exactly how big most of them are, I just know that last time I checked the Figuarts at least were all way too short
>>6244731
the one:12 collective iron man, coming out later this year? maybe?
Ummmm ML of legion when?? Im actually surprised we never got a figure even from toybiz correct me if im wrong.
I guess his design isnt so great with the 2 feet high hair and plain kinda clothes. Its all his personalities that make him cool.
However this show is so fucking good.
David Haller and DYE/Shadow King ML when? Plz hasbro. With the sucess of the show I hope its soon.
>>6244856
>ML of anything Fox-produced
Yeah right

I've been tempted by $2.00 hookers... just sayin'.
>>6245154
I found him on ebay for $12
He is more warped, loose, and gummy than I care to fix
>>6245154
Yeah, what the other anon said. He's got an extremely loose head and gummy limbs, and his nova star is kind of twisted off center, but I still love him.
If you love the character, it really is the best Nova figure we're going to get.
I just told myself I was gonna hold off on legends for a while...
Can the white iron first hands be modded to fit the strange wave Iron Fist? Suddenly need iron fist in my collection
>>6245568
From what others have said, yeah. The pegs are the same except the white Iron Fist's are a bit long, so you'll have to cut them down, but after that they'll work
