Regarding PMOP/Ginrai, whilst I don't feel the need to own either of them, if I were to go for either of them I'd go for Ginrai. There's things about PMOP I like, notably the chest, but Ginrai wins out as he's far less visibly hollow, especially in the arms, and he seems to have much better foot articulation. Yes the feet look a bit weird, but they don't look TOO bad, and overall I think it's a small issue on an otherwise fantastic looking figure.

Though like I say, I'm probably not going to buy him either.

Still haven't seen Weirdwolf in stores sadly, but one should be on the way in the mail, but I did find Mindwipe today. I was iffy on him but with deluxes being $10 and me liking beastformers I said why not.

I like him but the legs in bot mode aren't the best. Has that huge shin/short thighs issue with the articulation. He's still pretty cool. Gotta find a little titanmaster to partner him with. I would use apeface but the purple matches galvatron better and we all know galvatron needs a better head.

There's not really enough clearance for the yellow part to rotate through, so if there's any flashing or seam or anything to get caught you end up prying it apart just by lifting the hatch. Really happy these turned out well, only issue with Opt. was his sides with wheels wanted to stay down but I fixed this with the rubber bands he came with.

Megatron is awesome prefer him in Tank mode though.

I put some future polish on my Skullcruncher's hip joints and damn, this makes him so much better.

I managed at some point to snag one of the Marvel GI Joe VS TF crossovers. It was decent enough, for what it was.

I do really like the IDW stuff. Well, some of it anyway. I'm about 6 volumes deep on the hardcovers, and read some storytimes when they pop up on /co/. Heard later on the quality, like most comics, starts taking nosedives, only to climb up, and then nosedive again. On the whole so far I'm pretty happy, other than the entirely fuckin' pointless "lol Arcee's a tranny" thing.

Too bad the recent finale was pretty shit though. I'd really like to see some official DJD figures too, but chances are Hasbro probably isn't too keen on making a Decepticon Gestapo Force.

Sure. Here's something I was able do in my dorm, so forgive the background.

Basically my headcanon for Titan Masters is they work like Stands, the way they grant their users unique abilities. Sentinel an ancient Cybertronian and a bit of a dick, being a menace to both the Autobots and Decepticons with his plan to resurrect the titans to restore Cybertron as the greatest race in the universe and being sure they constantly evolve, forcing for a temporary alliance between the bots and cons. It was a mystery what the ability Infinitus granted Sentinel, but through a sacrifice made by Computron, it was revealed he could nearly freeze time.

Who else has little stories built around their collection and such? I have a few arcs I've thought up for my stuff.

Personally I really like the idea of a corrupted Prime, because I feel like that makes Prime more noble. Admittedly, I think in some places it's overdone, like in IDW it's like every Prime except Optimus is an asshole, but I like the idea of Optimus' immediate predecessor being corrupted.

He may or may not be a little looser in the joints than Astrotrain. Loose joints seems to be a thing on both the molds, but it's random rather than "Damn near every Skullcruncher will have problems".

However, both he and Astro have SUPER FUCKING TIGHT TM head connectors. So you'll probably want to reverse the TM's face so it faces the faceplate on his back to help with that once you manage to get his head off.

Do these fuckhuge stickers on the rid toys bother anyone else? I feel like a lot of these are pretty fun and interesting designs, but the sticker just takes away a lot(and all for some stupid app) and is terribly distracting.

Anons, I plan to visit some specialty stores for transformers, but I only have enough time for one venue.

One place has a shorter travel time, multiple stores, supposedly rare prototype mp's but there is little proof they're still around as this is based on a forum post from years ago, on the bright side its a popular shopping strip so I might find a fair bit there.

The other is a shop that still has tf stuff judging from the pic of mp thrust, problem is its just one shop that's over an hour travel time.

What shall it be, explore a new area or spend a fair length of time visiting one shop, either way I may come out empty handed since local retail is expensive and I'm not paying for a prototype

Uhh the only part on it that is an issue (on my copy) is the backpack doesn't stay in place very well. There's a peg and hole (they are hard to see) that's supposed to secure it but it doesn't stay pegged in. I haven't tried fixing it yet, but I'm 110% confident that just a little super glue or floor polish would provide the extra tightness needed.

The whole front end of the car is metal and it has light up headlights and weapons, and other parts are diecast too...also rubber tires. It's very very impressive.

I 100% agree, especially on the vehicle modes where the sticker is on the window blaring out like a sore thumb. It looks distracting on the figures, but the whole "robots in disguise" motif is lost in translation even further when you've got a huge sticker over the drivers side of the car.
I'm just going to have to suck it up for these two, they may be my first and only RiD purchases but I don't think I can pass up on them. Especially as Bludgeon never gets any love.

So when do the next set of reveals happen. My Wave 3 guys from BBTS just came in and now I'm sad that TR is already half over and yet it feels like it has not yet begun.

I really want to see those gift sets if they do exist. Because Liokaider was just released and that finished my combiner wars collection.

A good foot should be broad, and have a long heel and toe for balance. Really most 'bots with problems standing usually have them because the foot isn't wide enough or the heel is shitty.

Inferno faces pretty solid competition from the 3 versions that are out. Laserwave was barely better than quakewave despite having years to make improvements and learn.

I think Jazz is inevitable but doomed to be boring even when we see a prototype. They've honed in his design more than Optimus' over the years. The MP can't really be anything but the middle point between the MP carbot aesthetic and Binaltech.

Hey guys IDK if any one will remember but I posed in an earlier thread (there's alot) I am new to transformers and I bought my first on Tuesday. I said I'd go back to Ross and get the Space Shuttle Dinosaur with Wings (Skylynx) and I did! I also bought him a little baby dino!

Now I have 3 (2.2?) Transormers! Do you guys think I'm cool?

I almost bought 'Blaster' at Walmart. That thing looked sick, man. BOOM BOX. I'll probably get him next.

Not bad, most people have trouble getting Skylynx since he's a wave-ender. Battle Core Prime is decent as a bot and truck but weak as a combiner torso unless you get the PE upgrade set. Clobber is a great little dude who works well with the other Autobot TR figs.

I saw some really cool ones today. a purple bat, and blue wolf (I think it was blue) and hidden behind a bunch of Optimus Leaders was a Voyager that was a purple and red Lion. I had already bought Skylynx by then... Also I don't know if you have H-E-B's where you live, but they have titan masters for $3.72 instead of 5 like Target or Walmart. I almost got this gorilla looking one.

Well, he's mostly yellow but he's got a buncha blue accents. That's Weirdwolf.

Both are superb toys. Beware of the cockpit on Weirdwolf. Some break, some don't. Be prepared to do returns if needed. Mindwipe uses a lot of rubber parts that may not hold up in a few years but that aside, their transformations are both godly and they have very zoids-esque beast modes.
