What is your personal mission for this month, /lg/? Like getting certain sets, minifigs, deals, building, etc.

LDD mislead me. After almost finishing the Fantasticar's front part from that marvel game I started building the middle part, which was a very tricky build to figure out, but IRL the propellers hit the pieces around them, while LDD told me they didn't.

These. They hit the tiles at the corners, like the one that is selected in the pic. Not always, but if I rotate the propeller so one of the blades does not hit s corner, than others most likely will. This is very annyoing and may make the whole thing impossible in real life.
>>
>>5893440
LDD can have edges going into other edges. You can check it by zooming in and changing the angle before you Bricklink the parts.

These three were the reason for my order. All the batteries in them are dead, but that's understandable. Unfortunately. I can't find the proper battery replacements in any store nearby for the life of me. Also, Fire Vulture came with no stickers, and on Stealth Hunter, many of the stickers were applied pretty sloppily, I tried fixing them the best I could. It also came with a M E G A B L O K S P I E C E.

Those are the ones used in the game, the whole idea is to recreate that, so using other pieces is pointless.

What are some must-have female minifigs?
>>
>>5893548
I never buy pieces with stickers so I can't really comment on that, but the megabloks piece may have gone unnoticed if he got the full set assembled, which piece was it?

Don't worry, over time you will learn to avoid bad sellers, my suggestion is to create a list of stores with notes about them, in case you find yourself checking their inventories again in the future.
>>
>>5893548

There's hundreds if not thousands of different stores on Bricklink, sometimes you're unlucky, other times you hit the motherload. The other day I got a bunch of cheap stuff from the UK, for example. Gotta thank Brexit for that.

Why are lego Star wars sets in Germany so much more expensive?

The AT-ST costs $40 in the USA, here it costs $55
Why is that?
>>
>>5895385
The empire is based on nazi germany, so all Star wars licenses have to pay extra anti nazi taxes.

The way the higher ups dress and behave is stereotypical for nazis.
Also the ceremony at the end of A New Hope was inspired by nazi propaganda movies.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Royal_Award_Ceremony#Behind_the_scenes

>This end ceremony segment emulates, almost shot-for-shot, a similar scene in Triumph des Willens, a 1934 Nazi propaganda film made by Leni Riefenstahl. Both segments feature a large and enthusiastic crowd gathered in a ceremony hall bounded by columns, with a low podium where the leader stands—in Triumph des Willens, Adolf Hitler was the leader in question.[6] This similarity is unusual, as the Nazi references in Star Wars generally involve the Galactic Empire of Palpatine, whose authoritarian regime mirrors Hitler's Third Reich.

Now we need someone to recreate this with empire lego.

Ok champ, I can tell you all about Orlando! The Lego store is actually in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). Disney in general is located to the South-West of Orlando, but it is basically touching. The Lego store there has a huge pick a brick wall and 3 build a fig stations. The build a fig is $9.99 and you get a head, hat/hair, body, legs, and an accessory. The stations are divided into two levels with 4 sides and each level has two windows per side to pick parts from. Every once in a while they clean up and organize the stations so that all the parts are in their own bin, but usually they kinda messy. The parts are usually mostly old prints and red coffee cups, but they do add in older CMF parts. You can also visit Legoland Florida if you're into that. It is about 1 hour South and they also have a pick a brick wall and build a figure. I'm also told their build a fig sometimes has "I <3 Legoland" torsos sometimes. You can buy a shopping pass to just get into Legoland for the hour and they refund you the ticket and parking if you spend $30 I think. I think parking is $15 per car and the shopping pass is $100. You might call and check on those. As for weird looks, I don't know. Do you normally get weird looks when you go shopping on vacation? Hope that info helps.

So, I got the Spodermun bridge battle and am now a little obsessed with some spidey action.

I made an alternate universe Spidey, but I need a name for him. I also plan on at least changing his head to the mighty micro version (itll add some character) unless someone can point me to maybe one of the misprint spidey heads that were on bricklink for a while (I SWEAR I saw one that was printed on a BLUE head, would be perfect for this), I looked all over bricklink as best as I could (anyone know how to get the old search results back? The ones that would show what colors the part is available in under the pic of it?) for the misprints but couldnt find any.

Anyways, help me name my SpiderBro.

Last one. I wanted to have a little fun.

Queen Dragon is having the FO Trooper as a snack.

Jokes on her! He's a voraphile!

From that same line?
Yes, the other dragons are with her.
From other lines like Ninjago?
I actually have the Morro Dragon and one of the new ones "The Green NGR Dragon", or so that set is called, but haven't built those yet.
I'll get those built this week and get pictures up too.

If you put in the effort, you could get the correct figures. Soccer moms are doing it all the time for Disney figures. It is different if the store is out of the figure you want, but you should be able to decipher each bag with at least 80% certainty if not 100%.

>>5897617
I was hoping for the other lines. The Morro Dragon is actually the one I'd hoped to see them up against.
