Oriadne turned out to be my favorite as well.
I've said it before, but when I started writing his dialogue I kinda went into a trance when I finished I looked over it and realized I'd unintentionally created my dream waifu/husbando/whatever you wanna call it.

Our method is clear. If there's someone who stands in our way our who's death benefits us, we find someone who wants them dead AND has something we want and if when they accept (We make sure they will) they give us what we want and the target will be found dead in a tragically mundane way. Died in an accident, fell to illness, beaten by thugs in a bar fight, etc.
Why do we do it? For whatever reason the Assassin wants. Our order has no real central authority, we're more like a club or network then an order. Of course some of us keep an overview of our members and dispatch of anyone who misbehaves (like being sloppy or revealing information on us) who we dispatch of and clean up their mistakes. We can call on anyone for larger operations or promotion to "administrators" but it's ultimately their own choice if they want to accept.
Anyone can choose if they want to mentor someone or not but if they do it has to be someone who has a great intellect and good instincts and a reason to want to join. Many of our members are here for a sense of justice or to right some wrong in the world but most are in it for the challenge or out or boredom. You can't choose to join, we choose that for you and you can't leave alive.

Despite her poor reputation and apparent divinity, I managed to summon Hel to the holy grail war. Her appearance is... offputting, but she seems like a nice goddess otherwise.

After establishing her location at my home, cairns and graves sprouted up in a 2 mile radius. The feel is quite eerie, and the world grows silent.

I've only seen her have to fight once. Saber thought their magic resistance would work against her divinity. At which point Hel opened up a reality marble and drew Saber into it. It didn't seem particularly violent, just a prison for the dead.

I'm not sure if being cast into Helheim counts a death. I wonder if this Holy Grail war will continue in perpetuity. If only because Hel wishes to remain on Earth?

Tracing the royal bloodline all the way back to find already distant relatives that had stayed on Earth when Zodiac left this realm means they had to trace back all the way to around the Crusades. Then they had to try to search through the extensive resulting lineages to find the one with the least deluded blood.
The first guy Ori found was like 0.00002% Royal Blood.

If you want the lore:
Arcreus created the world with 16 Children who made up the elements of the world: life, death, and etc.

The First Kind, the first people, built an empire with one of Arcreus children (Mew) who was chosen to rule them. First Kind wanted to become Gods and raped/experimented on Mew to create Mewtwo and other weapons, which made Arcrus butthurt and gets their children to genocide the First Kind. Mewtwo gets sealed away by the Arceus for being an abomination and Arcreus created new life/people, the Second Kind and this starts the Second Era.

In the Second Era, Reshiram and Zekrom starts a continental war over ideals and truths which ends in them getting btfo by Palkia who helps establish a small federal government with Dialga who made a zealot police force.

Dialga since the beginning wants to create a Utopia and has been working with Darkrai to make it happen along with the First Kind (He got his sister, Mew raped) and he was the one who got the First Kind killed. He then releases the Darkness, which makes the world apocalypse tier.

Arcrus summons the Hero from our world to slay the Darkness. They succeed and help rebuild the world and the federal government becomes stronger with the military running things. Ho-Oh cucks Lugua and becomes wet for Heroes. Peace is spread across the land for 2 eras until criminal gangs organize into a criminal Empire in rebellion against the government.

A cult which wants to bring The End, which is a never ending happy dream everyone is caught in, then pops up lead by Darkrai. Arceus summons you the new Hero to fix everything or make it worse, but you're actually a random who selected as a janitor like the previous Hero.

This is a run down of the lore. There is a lot of skipped details. Pokemon Personified world building/lore are a pretty solid 10/10 though. I wish Italics did more OC though. I kind of liked Order's lore and world as well.

I feel there is more to this place than just tourist attraction. There must have been a some sort of disaster, either naturally, magically, invasion of otherworldly being, or all of them combined that caused this world to be so dilapidated, as if the land I get spawned in is just a part out of a majorly disappeared from.

Not to mention the suspicious Old Guard who kept me from investigating the village further. Is it related to the Mystery Festival? How about those Nighttime Shades? What has happened to the Decayed City Ruins? Does the Ruined Cathedral possibly hold a hint of this place's history? Why does it leads to a hidden Catacomb below?

I probably can learn much information from the Villager, particularly old ones who have seen the time crafted the history into the Village as it is.

The boy was born in a general shop. The father is awell-known figure for his honest and shrewd business sense. The mother is a kind loving mother who never close the door for all neighbor to come by for some tea. His big brother is a bit slow, but kind and protective of his little brother.

His youth was spent on studies, about anything the mother could give to her sons. Unfortunately the boy has little interest on such subjects and arrogantly declare such effort "profitless". The boy's favorite is holding coins and weighing them in his palm. Such quick he obtained after his father reward the boy for selflessly asking himself to carry many groceries, albeit not TOO heavy for a small kid, of the old folks whose house just 2 blocks of road.

The boy kept living like this until he became a young man. When a notorious band of raider, with power rivaling a kingdom, ransacked his small town. He is one of few survivors taken away as slaves.

The young man spent most of his days as a manual labor. Fortunately, he's one of a few slave that can sing, so the raid leader always demanded him to merry their after successful raid. The manual labor help to sculpt his once scrawny body into somewhat fit.

After many years of singing, the raiders are get familiar and treated him better than other slaves. The young man too kept his head down so far and never stand out much except being superficially friendly. So one day, when the whole raid team drunk too much wine after a very successful raid and was not much of a sober, not even the guards, nobody took notice of the young man to slip away.

Driven with vengeance, his ambition is to build an army strong enough to wipe out the raiders.

I happen to be the one she was betrothed to in the Tyrell house. Intrigued by her refusal, I disguised myself and went in her general direction, hoping to meet her.

While she's initially guarded against the handsome and mysterious stranger, I make it my personal goal to break down her defenses and make her fall for me. And win the melees in the tourneys, of course. What kinda man would I be if I didn't?

My first sensation after being "born" is dread. Simply because if I became aware just a second later, I would have ended up in the belly of some unknown beast. Apparently curling up into a ball of spike is enough to fend all kind of predators away. Survival is the instinct I had and wasn't aware of anything else. Then I met "it". A curious being "it" is: for its body doesn't have sharp pokey-thing to defend itself. My curious to it was met with a new experience, that is a conversation. Learning how to socialize. "it" yearns to make a safe place for himself and imagining to rule its underlings with benevolence and fairness against any kind of threat. According to "it", I was the first one who isn't attacking "it" after the first meeting, and so he welcomed me to join "it's" dream as a right hand man.

No, I said. "It" is suspicious, but also VERY persistent. Even pursuing in my sleep, not retreating even after I threatened it to stop. At last, I yield to his steadfastness. It then introduce itself as Ducius Amadeo.

From then onwards, it was about an adventure between the brain and the muscle. A mutual symbiotic relationship between two mutants against the whole world. But soon, the party will have the THIRD members, unknowingly, lurking deep within the Muscle's personality.

With Nyarlathotep I get to do pretty much anything I want with no consequences/resistance.
I don't care about destroying things at random, teleportation/time travel is cool so it was my second choice. Tsathoggua seems underwhelming and the thing I would want most from magic is teleportation/time travel. Cthulhu is pretty cool since you get real life vr when you sleep. Possible second choice. Azathoth is kind of cool, but also kind of underwhelming like Tsathoggua.

Actually going through this again, Cthulhu seems pretty good just for the lucid dreaming but I'll stick with my original choice.

Alright, I'm Demaglitese (Normally I'd choose something less rediculous, but Gods need to project an image.)

My form will be a fatherly looking armored warrior, and no matter how my form gets updated I'll always be shone as being 'blinded' in one way or another. (Bandages over the eyes, a helmet without eye slits, etc..) because 'Justice is blind'.

I'll always have a shield, and on the shield will be a very grand looking city.

it's because death is the eternal rest. It's a moment of loss for a family, but also a moment that pulls them together, unites them, a moment of intimacy and love.
It's a moment of suffering and mourning, but those are that much stronger the stronger is love.

Death is also important in the cicle of nature to grant fertility, both for wild nature and for agriculture.

In facct in ancient myth deat agriculture and fertility were all connected, since plants grow from where dead things disappear. It was all the domain of the mother goddess.

Even in the greek-roma myths where the god of the afterlife is male it's still connected to the fertility goddess through her daughter.

So if you want to make a comfy god you sorta need the death domain.
