What We Do in the Shadows

Build really only consists of two perks and an import but here it is anyway.

Makes me thousands of years old. I'm fluffing that I'm in surprisingly good nick though, maybe I got trapped in a glacier or Petyr is atypical of ancient vampires.

Makes me instantly get to grips with the powers and weaknesses of my new body which is useful and I'm not sure if I had a perk like this before in the current chain. Particularly given I'm really old in this so my upper limits are pretty powerful and I'll presumably be getting to grips with them quicker despite the previous bouts of madness. Should be able to do the pasghetti/worms and penis/snake tricks quickly as well.

Is a really great perk to get for free. Mostly about smoothing over arguments and tiffs with the people you care about which is nice.

50 CP overhang for anyone with an odd number of companions which is a pisser. Looks like we've been together for thousands of years in this setting taking it in turns to go mad so that's sort of nice. Gave her bat sense as well as she's got much less danger sensing than I have as well as a cleanliness perk which I don't think I've picked up before for her and a perk for explaining to out of touch people how stuff works. Mostly took Here How It's Done for jumps where my mental faculties ain't all there to make it easier on both of us.

Probably wouldn't be taking drawbacks anyway but the whole vampire weaknesses thing is a bit of a concern when combined with some of the drawbacks on offer. Really not sure whether the weaknesses are drawback mandated or can be sorted with other perks but I guess it doesn't really matter.

As for the plan it's kind of tricky. I'd choose to start in the Wellington as the main cast are pretty fun but they do also kill quite a lot of people so I'm really not sure where I stand ethically. I mean I know that's a thing with vampire jumps in general but here it's pretty odd as it's all played for laughs so it'd seem a bit rude to just kill all the vampires. Guess I'll sleep on it. During the daytime. In a coffin.

These two >>55263550 >>55263582 are pretty great. My own recommendation would be Sokka from Avatar, he's pretty much everything you could want for a Companion, personality-wise. He's fun, uncomplicated, smart, creative, skeptic but not an ass about it, and quick to let go of prejudices. His main problem is that he has a bit of an inferiority complex about not having powers, which shouldn't be much of a problem for a Companion.

We never saw the fully Grail-reborn Angra Mainyu, which would've spread all over the Earth's surface and only surpassed at killing people by a Beast and a TYPE according to itself in HA. As for Kiara, the thing about the Moon Cell is that things that control it well enough can manifest themselves outside of it to affect physical reality. I romanced the Dark Magician Girl/Mana in Shadow Realm, and I was planning on taking her with me once the jump was over. But, during the Archfiend Invasion, the Dark Magician had to sacrifice his life to save us from an ambush that otherwise would have killed us. Mana was devastated by this, and was forced to carry the torch for the magicians after the man who was pretty much their leader (given that Endymion had walled himself inside his city) died. Now, something important to note about my chain is that I decided that time wouldn't stop after I left a world, aside from my home world.

So, Mana was given an option as the jump ended: go with me, and leave the magic users to Endymion's leadership, which would most likely end in disaster (especially since many of the Warrior Kingdoms were already pissed off at him and his followers for leaving them high and dry during the invasion), or stay, taking up her master's position and leading the magical world. The choice was obvious. It hurt a lot, I'll be honest, but I understood. I couldn't do much, since this was early in the chain, but I could give her immorality, or at least agelessness, with what I had. We left on good terms, and we both promised to live long enough to see each other again. So, that's something to look forward to once my chain ends.

Last I remember asking, Val said you can do the Origin unlocking super mode if you fight Kiara but it goes away after. For some reason it's not mentioned at all in Extella. I'm well aware of Extra's power creep, though I was under the impression mostly it had to do with the Moon Cells simulations being much easier to do magic/get powered by mana in than Gaia.

It does in the game, the point is if she had succeeded in taking over the Moon Cell she could have done the same thing in reality. Remember when Buddha turned out to have showed up himself out of sympathy to Twice, and was described in lore as a god of cosmic proportions? Kiara's description explicitly compares her to him, and the power of the Moon Cell could have made her real.
