If one sees a role he wants (say, Vampire), and notes it is strong, he may take it not because it is strong but because he wants to pretend to be a vampire, and notes that it isn't unplayable shit that will cripple him in the future. I need help fleshing out a Tiefling as a character. She's a main plot NPC so it's important but I hit a wall. There are many layers to the answer of this question, so allow me to start at the surface and say Witches are voluptuous little strumpets because their stories are often told to bawdy taverns and horny old men, which often means they want to know the temptress has a solid rack and ample hips. This shifts naturally into my second point, that Witches are seen as temptresses (as wives of Satan, the Corrupter) and thus must have figures and personalities that entice men to enjoy all their body has to offer.

Deeper in, you get into the more nebulous bullshit. Country folk have always been stereotyped as having large breasts, large penises, wide hips and an almost animalistic need to breed. These came from the city-slickers who saw civilization as not only an admirable quality, but a genetic one; people who lived in the city were literally different on a fundamental level than those who lived in the country. Witches and their association with Pagan ritual (When Christianity came into power, those who sought to worship the Old Gods did so on the fringes of civilization) and wide stores of Dark Magic (aka Practical Magic, unlike the oracular, conjuration or otherwise "interactive" magics of the cities) meant they were seen as exemplars of the Country Life (indeed, Hedgewitch refers to both a village herbalist and a type of magician) and the Country Life means the above-mentioned stereotypes.

I was about to write up another point, how life-giving and life-sustaining was seen as a sort of magic all on it's own, and Witches with ample chests and wide hips would therefore be inferred as exceptionally magical, but I don't have enough evidence or interest to push that point.

You should also consider application quality. I'm not saying nepotism doesn't happen. It most definitely does. I know though that if I were running a game and my friend applied with an absolute pile of shit app and a random guy applied with an incredible app I'd pick the random guy. Only at lower tiers of mythic. I found coupled arcana was extremely good if you have something to trigger it, as it gives you amazing action economy.

Mirror dodge is excellent. Divine source can help you get spells outside of your spell list, as not only can you cast them once a day, you can cast them as your own spells.

I also took crafting mastery so I could make the group's gear. As for feats, mythic spell focus is incredible for putting your DCs into "You can't make this" levels.
