Well on the one hand, there's multiples of legendary monsters like the Chimera. And Fenrir and Jormungand apparently had a lot of babies at some point. And according to the campaign simulator thingy, one god who isn't even famous for his combat prowess can solo multiple Titans in his super mode: World-shaping giants that tower above mountains.

Sorry. To clarify. I have Five Magic. I have Ice Magic. I have Earth Magic. I have Air Magic. I have Light Magic. I have Dark/Shadow magic. I am an Arch Angel. I am a Demon King. I am many other things also, but this only works in magic I think? This is a perk that to use it, will destroy some existing capability I have. And there are many, many other learning perks that don't make you untalented in some other area.

As is, this is paying 200/100 CP to have the opportunity to take away your potential. I would never see someone taking this without the ability to disable it. At the very least I'd give a chance to remove the debuff and learning/skill boosts after a decade or a jump ends, whichever comes first.

You're making yourself less innately talented at one thing to gain more innate talent in another. You don't need to completely destroy your ability in one thing, you can simply lower it a fair amount to increase another. But it's not like putting a training weight on that you can take on later. It's to represent how some characters in series were just worse at some magics to compensate for being better at others.

That's pretty much the bar for royalty. You have to be good, kind leader for me to even think of kneeling. Add some child innocents onto it and there is a good chance.
Otherwise, even for rulers I respect I don't bow to as, at the least, a basic show of "I do not serve you." message.
I also like to use lines like "The idea of kneeling, it's- You see, fighting armies off singlehandedly and making all your men like children, uh, well it's left a nasty cramp in my leg, so kneeling will be hard for me."

Duel Monsters, the Heroes.
Visions of Tomorrow can take any piece of tech and turn it onto magic. Now give that magic to someone else.
Lets you do cheap empowerment if you have access to cheap tech. Like turn a cheap solar calculator watch into a number counting spell, a pair of binoculars of night vision goggles into a vision spell, spring heeled boots into a jumping spell. A gun into a magic finger gun.

Also look at one of the Drop-Ins items. Helmets that give powers. You can learn how to modify or make your own eventually.

Jumper Empress of Jumper Eyes is missing, lets you give anyone versions of eyes you possess.

You can walk on air and water? Whoop-de-doo, so can an apprentice-level flight spell. You can manipulate light with your hands? Why not just do it with a word? You can throw fire away from a burning building? Pyromancy. Or conjure water. And if something uses such an attack on you, a counter-spell or ward is safer and easier. It's really good, but paradox undoes it during the jump. I think paradox goes away post jump so you can do crazy stuff. Pretty sure faking Umbrella Corp with it post jump would be easy, and if you have a magic booster or two you'd leave them in the dust.

If paradox doesn't go away post jump then you can use I Cheat or Conjoined Conjures to make a version that doesn't suffer from it.

It's pretty much just the same as being a ghost that can decide when they count as solid or not. If something can hit a ghost without only working on ghosts, it can hit you too. So pretty much any spiritual and a huge number of magical attacks will usually count as both.

How do the Priority Target drawback, and the alignment selections work given that without taking An Age of Order the jump starts the day after Metropolis, not at the start of the game? Do they just hate you when the divide happens? What if you prevent the regime from ever forming?

There seem to be a few bits of the jump that assume you start at different times.

Also, do you need to buy the enhanced versions of powers to be able to buy the extreme versions? It doesn't seem like you do, but there's a very big jump from the 300 CP powers to the 400 CP versions.

Given having to buy both would put you at almost the cost of a race for just one trait I assume you don't need the lesser version.

The loadout perks are meant to be more open ended, Bro in Black gives you a set loadout with potentially more stuff if you care to fluff it that way. I'll have to add in some tech skills perk to Alien Technology. Maybe add in that it can be magic instead?

Question about Stellaris.

It says that post-jump, your Empire and any planets you conquer/colonize follow you to future jumps?

Does that include any planets I conquer in future jumps?

Like for example say if I go to Sitcom after Stellaris and conquer that version of Earth, would it be added to my Empire and thus follow me to future jumps?

So. I was looking at Lost Odyssey and...it has a perk that makes you immortal. Like true immortal. It explicitly says you cannot die. Not just once a jump but ever. And being sealed only counts as an end in your current jump.

Isn't this a bit broken? It's literal You Can't Lose mode. How did this get through?

Basically SJ forced it through after people got tired of her after the usual hours and hours of arguing and people just missed it. Do wish it could be removed given it entirely nulls any risk in the chain at all and basically lets you max out on drawbacks in most jumps because you're never going to die. But once it's on the drive, it'll get protected I imagine.

Yeah sometimes.

I like my footprint (i.e. the effect I have on a setting) to be of a fairly specific shape most of the time so there's a lot of character playing and lying.

I've even killed monarchs I didn't like, replaced them with identical looking and loyal androids/undead thralls and then knelt to them.

Sometimes it's fun to just ride around pretending to be/being a knight or whatever.

Question about Bastard!!

I haven't read the manga so I'm at loss when it comes the Magic perk. What forms of magic are available? Is there a resource somewhere that lists them? What does Bastard!! magic capable? Any help would be appreciated.

Going to go into more detail later but think of it as like DnD magic basically. Generally more biggatons though but it's basically the same principle. You got your firey/watery/earthy/lighteningy elemental magic, holy cleric and unholy necromancer, summoning magic and ancient magic, enchantment and so on.

Nah man, it's actually a much shittier version of the perk from Seven Deadly Sins. The Lost Odyssey one can be defeated by having your body totally destroyed or having you sealed away and it's slow regen. The SDS one can come back from total bodily destruction and do it in the span of minutes.

So quit your bitching. Besides, we've had the capcity to become a lich for forever and that's honestly even more ridiculous.
