JUMPERS! How do I create monster girls?

I want to fill entire settings with them!
>>
>>54390073
Depends. Zephie is typically 5'5", which is my height, but they became a fairy in 7DS. And they can become a hulking T-Rex moth.

Writer Nika can shapeshift, but they typically take Zephie's height. Doctor's Companion can shapeshift too, so they usually take a smaller height for soft EMIYA cuddles.

Aria is about 5'2", or Iri's height.

There's a couple of perks for that in that space station 13 jump, shaping magic from geneforge would probably let you make them after some finagling, One of the sacred gears in DXD Highschool would allow it. There's also the changing potion in dark cloud that makes cat girl level ones.
>>
>>54390303
There's a book in Anima that brings whatever you draw in it to life which you could use. Just make sure to grab some perks to speed up training since it has a limited amount of pages that once used up requires someone to sacrifice their drawing skills for it to be used again.
>>
>>54390303
Broodmother from SCP foundation lets you spawn any kind of being you can imagine so long as you actually have the powers they would need, ie if you didn't have flight powers a fairy wouldn't be able to fly, etc. There's some, uh, squick involved though.
>>

>>
>>54390303
Go to exalted solars and get the perk to make exaltations, make monster girl exalts.

Use resident evil viruses to make monstet girls.

Use infectious bite to give monstergirl forms.

Be a shoggoth.

Use biomancy perks on people.

Go to log horizon and use the blood of super high powered magical monsters from end game raids to make a contract that gives people the subjob of monster girl.

Go to a xianxia setting and learn a technique that turns the user into a monster girl, teach it to others

Go to ranma and make the pool of the drowned monster girl.

Use.polymorph from dnd to make people monstergirls.

About galaxy sized, though that's a bit deceptive to say. I got that big by converting all matter in the galaxy into Tyranids to full with my distributed hive mind, but I mostly left individual clusters of mass in place. So there's a lot of empty space in there, you can go for light years without finding a piece of me. If you condensed my down to the density of human flesh I'd only be a couple of astronomical units across.

I followed the Biggus Dickus Formula...

I also wanted to see how big you would get with it. The answer is many, many times bigger than our galaxy, regardless of what ship you use as a basis, if I did the calcs right.

Also, Did I miss any other ship/mech import or size increasing power that lacks of hard limit? The only other one that I know is Shapeshifting (x3 size increase) in Samurai Jack, but it takes your base form as a reference point, and Get Huge makes it irrelevant.

How do you stop it from collapsing into a blackhole?
>>
>>54390684
To get to that you need to turn it into an Alt-form in Gargantia, so it's your body. Get a perk that nullifies your own gravity before getting too big.
>>
How would something like Omega-Level Telepathy interact with Desu Machina from NieR: Automata? I'm thinking it'd either do literally nothing, or basically be the digital-reality warping equivalent of Wishcraft from Fate.
>>
>>54390684
Well, if you start with Dahak, Asgerd-class ships already have gravity warping to deal with the stresses of being so big. Presumably the size and power of the generators would scale up with the rest of the ship.
>>
>>54381701
Ah, sorry about that! Usually each time it was just something minor that occurred to me, and since things were mostly settled already I thought I'd just swap in the new one while it was in the uploads folder instead of bother people here.

Most of the changes I made were pretty minor things like fixing grammatical errors and adjusting the background (I got the backgrounds to work by pasting in an image, moving it behind the text, expanding it to cover the page, and rinse/repeat, so every time I changed something in the text I'd get this blank space between the images and sometimes I'd miss the errors until later).

For Mermaid Melody, I think the only other big thing I did was add in some new drawbacks that occurred to me, such as a few based around the GBA games.

For Peter Pan, it was also mostly just minor adjustments here and there, like adding that the From Parent to Pirate captain gets a weapon in place of a hand. I do admit, though, that there was one other thing: I added in a new, non-discounted perk and a related drawback.

The perk, Escort for the Innocent Dead, allows you to find the dead souls of children and guide them to their next lives. The drawback, To Die Would Be An Awfully Big Adventure, makes Neverland into a land of the dead, so that you never really die but are at risk of gradually losing your ties to the living world(s).

I thought that most of my changes weren't big enough to bring up, but is the latter couple of things okay? I'm very sorry if I offended people by reuploading the files like that; I just didn't want to bog down people with every little adjustment I made.

On another note, I heard back from Walkir, and he's put all of his jumps, including SimCity, up for adoption, so Gauntlet's free to run with it.
>>
>>54390711
Do we actually have any of those? Because I've been looking for a while and can't find any.
>>
>>54390785
Oh, and the latest change I made to them was, after getting advice for the Bone jump, taking away the CP prices for the different backgrounds, since looking back at them there's not really a need to make any of them more expensive than the others.

Nah, that just makes your body "stop following normal biology". Which would get rid of a lot of the square-cube law problems of being so large, but not all of them. Besides, my main concern is less collapsing under my own weight and more not having a gravitational field so large I warp the Kerr metric every time I turn and wind up shaming the Xeelee.

That's the limit for increasing it. There is no stated limit for nullifying it.

Why are Heart of the Sword and Shinsoku separate perks in Kenshin? The 300 CP version of Heart of the Sword makes you as good as the likes of Kenshin on it's own so if you take his style or another speed focused one shouldn't you have that speed without the extra 300 CP purchase?
>>
>>54390972
Dangerous, but not so much that a slightly-above-baseline human wasn't able to lead his forces to victory over them. Just remember to head to the former capital of the Fourth Imperium as soon as possible so you can claim ownership over all surviving materiel, then hit them with it very hard. Asgerd-class and Utu-class ships have star drives that can be used to create spontaneous black holes, you can cause huge devastation to their fleets. The reason the Imperium lost to them wasn't because of military strength, it's because a plague was ripping through Imperium worlds at the time.
>>
>>54391002
Yeah, that feels a bit too powerwank-y. Decreasing gravity is just increasing it in the opposite direction, the cap would probably apply both ways. Besides, I don't want to decrease gravity, really, I want to be non-interactive with the gravitational force.
>>
>>54391028
Oh, also, you start with a lot more time to prepare than the canon protagonist did. MacIntyre had around two years to prepare for the Achuultani, the scenario starts you a minimum of two millennia before the book does. Possibly as many as eleven. You'll do fine.

>>
How valuable are perks like Munchkinry that make your jumper better at imagining how to exploit your abilities? What's the point of being able to imagine better if I can't conceptualize what effect that has?
>>
>>54391241
Oh, one last thing: If you can take out the AI that's leading them, the Achuultani will be thrown into panic and disarray and you should be able to easily mop them up. So cyber warfare would be a good ability to pick up. The AI's the real villain, too, the Achuultani are normally peaceful. But it's a military AI designed to lead them in times of crisis, and it wanted to not have to shut off when the crisis it was originally activated for passed, so it's been artificially engineering "species-ending threats" to the Achuultani for millennia. The Achuultani themselves don't want to be constantly fighting, but they've been brainwashed by the AI into thinking they have to in order to keep from being destroyed.
>>
>>54390469
Not really happy, I guess? You are taking their entire purpose from them and tell them to live as something completely alien to them.

They are designed to protect humans, but they don't specially admire them in anyway. In some dialog from the game they find human customs weird and hard to understand.

The End. See below for context/explanations.

There is some context and some epilogue scenes I plan to write - mostly having do to with the fates of Diend, Bernkastel, and Hyde...plus this will get expanded once I fill in the gaps later on. But the gist of it is that post-Spark, via Great Will and other nonsense Decade created a world where Yuki and many of those he met in his journey get a second chance at life - Ange is reunited with a non-screwed-up Ushiromiya family, Iron becomes an athletic coach, Asgore's family is brought back together, etc.

Think of this as the short version of the ending. But, yeah, this is the end of Destroyer of Worlds. I might do more in the little loose 'cosmology' I've setup, but this is the end of Decade and Yuki's story.

...is it wrong that I think any takes I make on a benefactor from this point on are doomed to be underwhelming compared to Yuki?

>>
>>54391388
Yeah, the books are alright. Not great, but decent military SF of the sort Weber put out before he got super lazy and started literally copy-pasting chapters from one book to another. The AI's not brainwashing them because it worries about them turning it off, but because it (despite trying for millennia, it's not a very good AI) hasn't been able to modify its core programming that would cause it to turn itself off.

>Dahak scenario possible without too many jumps?
>How dangerous are the invaders?
Supcom by itself could probably do it alone through sheer dray goo, and pulling mass and energy out it's ass for a thousand years or so before heading out. But other than that...

Something you have to remember is every force you fought in the book intentionally did stupid stuff to sandbag itself. from a hardware level out. All the death and suffering the Battle Computer has been dealing out in our galaxy was just to justify some state of emergency that loosed its programming. Out in the boondocks

If you go to where the invasions come from, that goes away, and you are facing a Sentient, Sapient AI that has been semi free for over two BILLION years. That is room for a lot of R&D to have happened.

Now since the AI is obviously still beholden to its programming to need to manufacture a threat, that is probably the easiest way to defeat it. Find out its ACTUAL programming and restrictions, and exploit that up the whazoo.

The Scenario lock out Magic, but still allows Superpowers, Psionics, and of course, Tech. So if you can use that to find the place they fled from, and look into the past to see what the hell happened, that is one way to do it. A society of Achuultani (the race that created the AI you need to defeat) Large enough and with the correct command protocols (which may no longer be known to anyone living) might be able to reassert control.

There's one in Unholy Heights, but a lot of people don't like that jump. It's also retroactive, which limits it's "fun" potential.

There's an item is Disgaea that can do it, but only once every 24 hours.

Probably your best bet is to just get a somewhat free-form magic system and assume you found a gender-swap spell.

>>54391566
I will try! Thank you, anon/.
>>54391569
That's part of why I skipped to the end here. Nothing, not even an endjump mission, would really satisfy after tying up all the emotional arcs and foreshadowing in a climax. I still need to showcase Diend's side of the end of the story and what happens to Hyde and Bern, but honestly, any endjump would just be a glorified part of the epilogue.

I'll probably write an expanded version once the actual jump is out.

Anyways, thank you all for following my self-indulgent fanfiction and the suffering train for this long. I have no idea if any of my future chains will match up to this, or if it even matters that much, but I had a lot of fun and I'm happy folks enjoyed it as much as I did.

Thats what I figured. Since it's VtR, the Camarilla isn't really a part of the plot after Rome (when it dissolves, I don't know, but I'll do some reading in order to have it make sense in the plot.) But it seems to me that mortal adversaries are probably no match for a vampire with as many disciplines as I'd have.

I'm probably still going to do the Mob, Pirates of the Caribbean, pic related and possibly some other similar jumps in the lower ranges of power. I'm doing Escalation chain with Alt-Chain, so I figured that I'd be fine doing those jumps with vampire powers and no starting points. Problem I'd have is that I'd need to come up with some in-story character who could reasonably challenge a shapeshifting vampire with a whole host of dumb powers.

Might be fun to do Death Note and just act like a complete out of context problem. Makes me wonder how the various Shinigami would react to someone who can't be killed by the death note. I imagine Light or other users would freak out royally.

I'd need to reread it and make sure, but I'd be using alt-chain to combine it with Rome. I wouldn't be getting any points anyway for Rome because of escalation chain. I just can't think of anything else that'd be more interesting than jockeying for power in Rome. I was thinking of some new city being set up five minutes into the future and then having the various factions attempt to set up shop and gain power, but that makes less sense (and is less interesting, to me anyway) than just fucking around in Rome. I finished reading a book a while ago about Ancient Rome and it got me thinking about being a vampire in Rome and surviving assassination attempts. Plus I love Roman aesthetic.

>>54392594
I did VtM:B in a different chain, and I encountered fire more than once. First time I blind panicked and went running, subsequent dealings with fires involved having to fight the instinctual fear inherent to Kindred.
>>
>>54392594
I've got a perk to make it so that my fear actually scales with how much of a threat something is. And another to still think clearly while afraid.

So if I start feeling fear, it's because there's something that's an actual, serious threat. The usual response is the Joestar Secret Technique running, or faking my death (I am very, very good at both of these).

Yes, and that reason is because he's the center of all reality, it's nucleus. It has nothing to do with nuclear energy. Azathoth first appeared in The Whisperer In Darkness, in 1931. Nuclear power wasn't discovered unitl 1932.

To remedy that, is there any perks that would make them technorganic? I know my TF Jump has one, but is there any other? That way they can be humanish without going in cold turkey.

>>

Would this work? I sort of feel a need to take that jump early so I can use it as the fantastic upgrade/import base that it is but copying it's tech and building on another heavily imported/upgraded ship would be just as good if it was viable.

What jumps would be good for adding size and mass? Not just importing the vessel to make it bigger but giving it the capacity to increase its size as it gains new technology that allows for and takes advantage of increased size.

They can eat, they drink, they can have sex if they choose, I can't remember if they dream but I'm sure it would be possible to rig up a program for that...they've got everything good about being human with nothing bad. Brave, from Generic Horror Movies to remove any phobias you had.

If You Want a Job Done Right..., from Doom 2016 actually makes you fearless. But not sure if that's full removal of fear?

Punch Through the Heavens!, from Gurren Lagann makes you "almost stupidly" fearless too.

Fearless, from Warhammer Fantasy: Dogs of War is pretty good too. Probably the most complete one, with "You know not fear" and all.

They're fatally allergic to mackerel for some reason. If they eat it the fluids in their bodies seize up due to a chemical reaction with the fluids in their bodies. It's one of the joke bad endings you can get. Going by the narration during the ending mackerel tastes really good to them, though. Maybe it would be worth it to find a new chemical composition for their fluids so they can eat it safely.

Supcom, ACUs can self upgrade even their core components. You would need to convert any tech into upgrade schematics but a good AI or your Symbiote from Symbiote could do that for you.

It is just a matter of available tech, time, mass, and energy. Making the thing bigger should not be an issue especially if you import a space craft, where gravity won't become an issue for quite a while.

Then import them somewhere they can get superhuman physical abilities, first, since as I said human frailty is really the only thing different for them in terms of personal experience. Also, they'd still have their android body as an alt-form. And said body would presumably look the same as whatever you imported them as, so they could just instantly switch back to android mode and no one would notice. Well, okay, there do seem to be some imprinted lines in the skin of an android's chest, so maybe in swimsuit weather people would notice. But still not that weird, just have them say it was body modification, cicatrization or something like that. The point is, they'd have the barest moment of discomfort before being fine.

I don't do that anymore though.) but it was all for naught in the end. Writer Nika then became especially bitter towards the concept of fate and kept a list of everyone they couldn't save to honor them.

Zephie stayed the hell away from Diarmuid, because they were afraid he might reject them because they had a horrid monster in them. (Long story), then he actually saw it and didn't reject it so they liked him.

Import a power armor into a mech like >>54392769 to link the two. Then import the mech into IS. ...would that technically mean the mech is folding into the Power Armor as the IS and forming around said power armor? Just make the armor 'unfold' into the mecha later?
>>
>>54393571
Depends on how you linked them. Because you can enlarge the power armor in your Macross jump to be Zentraedi-sized, and then when you combine it with a mech it's just directly combining it. But if you don't enlarge it, then the power armor is more like the suits in Frontier that unfold into cockpit controls, right? So the first way the whole thing would turn into an IS suit, but the second way you'd get an IS around a power armor, with the IS able to transform into a full-sized mech. Which would look much less stupid, all around.

Nobody of any importance cares about whether a jump is on the /tg/ or SB drive, as long as it's reasonably well made.
Seriously, get over that childish SB-hatred (i'd call it a feud, but that'd require anyone over there to actually care).
Some people just want to jump settings they like.

You may flame me now.

It also has a perk that grants OTHER people plot armor, which is super useful.

>>54393896
It's certainly not the best jump i've ever seen, but it's hardly the worst either. There's tons of worse jumps on the /tg/ drive.

Okay, here's the next version of my Bone jump. I made some edits to the drawbacks and added a little more detail to a few of the items. I also moved the Genre Mixer perk up to 400 CP in the Drop-In branch due to comments that it might be worth more than a 200 CP slot.

Most of all, I added some new sections down in the Notes to explain the history of the Valley, the nature of the ghost circles/void, and my estimate on the power level of the dragons local to the setting. With this extra information in mind, how understandable is the set-up of the jump now? I can add more info to the Notes if necessary.

Speaking of power armor shenanigans... is Black Crusade going to include a power armor customization table?
>>
>>54393899
Always focus on setting.

Any possibilities you can pad out the descriptions a bit? Maybe with some specific examples? In particular, the Elite Perk describes you as an Elite Valkyrie Pilot, but skillwise how exactly would that differ from a regular Valkyrie Pilot. Same with the Golden Ace Perk. I don't know what kind of combat skills a Valkyrie in the low 300s would have, and I don't know how exactly differs from being an Elite.

Similarly, can you add some to the Location descriptions, and how they differ from the IRL locations?

To be honest, I would personally just prefer a lot more padding and flavor. Reading through the Perks isn't getting me interested in learning more about the setting, it's only leaving me confused, and I find it difficult to care much about it beyond seeing it as basically being a glorified shopping list. Not that I'm trying to insult you or anything, but I want to criticize it and I can barely tell what half the Perks do in comparison to each other, or what they do in the first place because half of them cite in setting examples of what they do.

Please don't be discouraged.

I've literally done on a paper on this. Only reason why I don't have sources to this is because they're all behind academic paywalls.
>>
>>54393899
...This is neat.

Some of these suggestions are rather minor, but...

Valkyrie Skill could do with some more elaboration on how Valkyrie Frames are used. Basic maneuvers, combat philosophy, or just some quirks of using this setting's power armor could help build a more impactful mental image of them.

Impeller Mastery could benefit from a direct explanation on what those techniques do. Spatial Manipulation and Teleportation are obvious, while Corrosion can vary depending on the specific mechanism any given setting uses. The others I have no clue on. It could also be beneficial to make another Freebie that directly explains what an Impeller Field is, along with basic techniques that you would be expected to learn after arriving and its uses in combat.

Construction: I would suggest elaborating on the setting-unique technologies more. What are the arcologies here like? Any new stuff that changed what people would consider "basic amenities"? And the non-Valkyrie weaponry. Is it modern day, a bit better, full sci-fi?

Higgs Knowledge: Same as construction. Having the perk describe what Higgs particles can actually do is a very good idea.

An Elite: Well, it works. But going a bit more into what you know and can do in a fight in comparison to some scrub fresh from military academy would be nice.

Valkyrie Core Knowledge: The jump as a whole seems to be gearing up to explain it, but I would like it if you went over what the Cores can do in a concise and isolated manner.

Also, I would very much like it you focused on the setting itself. The jump has given me a very vague idea of what the world is like, and how people live, which isn't conductive towards writing the Jumper with the setting instead of knocking everything over once I am far beyond the world's power level.

All valid points which is why I said its a WIP.

I focused more on the PC's story and the Meta when writing this since the jump starts in 2070 and has you attending one of the Academies. But now I think about getting rid of the backgrounds and starting from scratch and maybe letting you roll for when the jump starts.

The "Main Character" background is based on the fact that the source material is like I said a parody of Infinite Stratos and other battle harem stories. Its why out of the 20,000 Valkyrie pilots only around 100 are male. The quest has you play as Anna one of the "waifus" in Rokusabe Koujirou potential harem.

"Hey there. Nice to meet meet meet meet meet meet meet-"

The electronic voice broke and began to spin out on the same line like a broken record, leaving me staring in equal parts amazement and bewilderment. A foreign-looking vending machine had replaced my entire room closet door, like it had smashed itself upwards from the floor. It had 'ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME' in big flashing neon letters on top, and the actual title was worn and broken up, but I could make out 'JU-HAIN' beneath the sign. Was that Korean or something…?

It had started playing what I figured was some kind of intro cinematic, except…well.

"-business business business business business business prop-prop-prop-prop-prop-"

Whatever it was, it was a broken down piece of junk. It didn't look like it was plugged into anything, so it was probably operating off of a battery, but it felt like a good kick would just make the rusted and worn down vending machine just break down. And I was staring at it, wondering if I should call the cops or pinch myself to wake up.

Either way, I'm not getting back to sleep with that damned electronic voice and the popping speaker drilling itself into my eardrums. I wonder if giving it a quarter or something will make it shut up? I don't even know what this thing actually vends…there's no view of the inside.

>>54394569
Well it depends on how much I decide to change.

If I decide to to let you roll for when you start which would include First Contact, Battle of Britain, Alaskan Offensive, Quest Start date among others then I would have to design new backgrounds.

If I decide not to let you roll for when you start and stick with the jump starting the day the quest does then I think I would add at least an instructor background. I think Drop In would largely stay the same. Ace and Student would be reworked because the Instructor background would take some of their perks. I might axe "Main Character".

Honestly I think I'm going to stick with the second option and keep you starting the jump the day the quest starts.

If your planned backgrounds were along the lines of which organizations you work for, or which nation you're from, anything like that, I would suggest making them an additional choice on top of your actual background. The main reason for that being that you would be able to write about said organizations/nations/etc through their entries, and the fluff for their perks.

There's not really separate organizations. Essentially everyone works for the UN which is humanity. There's the five founding nations, the member nations, UN controlled territory, and pseudo independent nations like Pakistan was like before their annexation but as Anna put it when reading classified reports.

>As the pressure on Pakistan mounted, there was a lot of political back and forth, much of it beyond your authorisation to see and thus you skim the subject. Pakistan eventually threatens to withhold military and logistics support for the UN, all this while the Great Battle continued unabated. At that, the UN promptly rescinded Pakistan's right to maintain an armed force and declares that the Pakistani military would be folded into the UN Military, effective immediately.

>Despite the outrage from Pakistani military command and its nominal civilian government, with the exceptions of their much reduced Valkyrie forces, the majority of Pakistan's military had been serving under UN commanders, used UN fabricated weaponry and vehicles, relied on UN logistics chains and had families that lived in UN constructed Arcologies. Most of the armed forces acquiesce without significant resistance and the nation of Pakistan is absorbed into the UN in all but name. The UN then further declares itself to have total monopoly of force over all humanity as the annexation of Pakistan succeeds, with the blunt justification that the war effort would be better served with a single chain of command and associated integrated logistic chains.

And since you're a Valkyrie pilot that means you're a member of the UN Air Force.

I may take a few days to work on it after A Brother's Price is done before investing wholly in making the Guyver jump, and after that Project ARMS.

>Should I Tomb Kings before or after Shadow Realm?
I'm... not sure what two have to do with each other? But I'd say it depends a bit on your build, and what you're planning to do.

Shadow Realms seems more dangerous, assuming you're not going out of your way to look for trouble. But I think also gives you more survivability?

Mostly, I like to make sure Tomb Kings is after I get whatever I import as my tomb's material.

>Same with Ogre Battle and Neptunia.
I don't know jack shit about either of those... Neptunia didn't seem that dangerous when I read the jump?
>>
>>54395738
Y...yes? There's no real reason for the background existing if it gets literally nothing.

I'd suggest giving Drop-In the more overtly sci-fi stuff, like knowledge of tech, and game mechanics, like something similar to the Free Scenario System, which would... somehow... make things work for the Jumper the ways they do in the game. IE things the Jumper is a key player for don't progress until the Jumper is back. Although I'd put some kind of limitations on it, like trying to delay a war by leaving the participating nations resulting in everyone fighting anyway after a year or two even if you're supposed to be a general.

Thanks for the head up.
It's not really about offending anyone. Grammar, typos, and small appearance stuff no one has a problem with you doing, but people archiving jumps might want to know to be sure they have the latest version.

Things like new or changed perks, added drawbacks, and removing CP costs from backgrounds you absolutely want to let the thread know about. And an upload helps with visibility.

This is so people know they might have a little extra CP depending on background, or might want to take the new perk or drawback. Death/Psychopomps are even a secondary theme some jumpers have or might like. And are not all that commonly found in jumps.

Sorry about that. I don't really look for pastes. When looking for new stuff I do Ctrl+F pdf and that's about it. You're lucky I saw this one way back when. Didn't know there was a newer version.

MEoDP hurts your brain, the weaknesses of Dead Apostles persist after the jump, and canon characters are serious overpriced.

SCP-536 could work. I should reverse-engineer that, anyway. The ability to manipulate physical constants could be very useful. Does the Commander Psker capstone make you as powerful as described in the perk or is it just an example of what you could do if you ate the souls of a whole craftworld infinity circuit?
>>
>>54396731
I feel like if you'd eaten the whole of a Craftworld's circuit, you'd be much,.MUCH more powerful than that considering Eldar are all Psykers and are described as having much greater souls than humans.
>>
>>54396731
You're as powerful as the Doom of Malantai if you take it, so the examples are meant to be the sort of stuff you could do.

>>54396789
Most likely but this is GW so the DoM isn't able to effortlessly stomp whole armies despite what it ate.
>>
>>54396789
Greater psyker potential than the average human yes.
greater souls no.
Big E is proof of that
>>
>>54396834

>>
>>54396834
In that case you may want to nix the battleship line if you ever update it. While the DoM could definitely tear through titans, it certainly did on Malan'tai, a battleship seems quite a bit beyond its feats.

Eldar are explicitly described as having much brighter and stronger souls on average than human.

I don't really do short Jumps. There's not really a need for an items section as everything is just about city building, kinda like Roller Coaster Tycoon is about making your Roller Coaster and Zoo Tycoon is about making a Zoo. There aren't any origins you start out as a Drop-in mayor.

Moneymancy.
I want to be a moneymancer.
The core of this is using
>Power Combinations (DC - Young Justice)
to combine
>Buy Mode (The Sims 3)
>Buy Menu (Counter-Strike)
into an Actual Buy Menu, where anything you could have sold in the Buy Mode can be bought, and new items can by coming in contact with them.

What are the other moneymancy stuff you know about? Like:
1: Things that make buying cheaper
2: Things that make selling give you more money
especially that would apply to the combo above.

3: Things that expand your buying options, like
>More Money Than God, Edgars? (B5 Crusade)
That lets you buy any physical thing at its FMV, even if not for sale.
Or
>Added Features (Alterworld D. Rus)
That lets you hire NPC's (created from nothing) by paying their monthly salary.
Is there something that lets you literally buy Loyalty?

(To people who have played the Sims 3, selling stuff in buy mode, how much does it give you? What you paid for it, half what you paid for it? The jump doesn't say)
>>
>>54393899
I like what you got so far, though as other anons have addressed you should add more examples in several places so we know exactly what the technologies and other stuff is capable of.

>>
>>54397118

>>

Anyone who can fight an Exalted Jumper seriously is going to have a mental defense. A Solar will just pop Elusive Dream Defense once and ignore everything you say.

Of all the things that can fuck over Exalted's precarious Jenga tower of balance, this one is very mild.
>>

>>
>>54397541
Could we use it to completely remove our abilities with dangerous and/or useless forms of magic to boost more valuable ones?
>>
>>54397577
No, it doesn't let you remove abilities. It's just about making yourself less talented with them. It makes them harder to learn and more difficult to use but it's not erasing the magic from your mind entirely.
>>
>>54397299
>It doesn't go beyond galaxy levels
Wait. Why is that your definition for what an endjump should be? I'm curious about the logic behind that.
>>
>>54397495
Sweet. Thanks.

>>
>>54397495
You still working on Little With Academia?
>>
>>54397613
All the dragonball jumps let you fairly easily get to universe busting levels of power with Super Saiyan God. Just import five of your companions and all become Saiyans and it's only a matter of unlocking Super Saiyan, which some of the jumps have options for.

There's plenty of jumps, like comic book ones, where the max power level of the setting is super high but it's not easy to get that level of power. DB jumps make it very easy to get to at least destroying a universe level of power so I didn't find it very noteworthy in end jump terms to only be destroying galaxies.
>>
>>54397118
>The Special Stuff
How often does this last before it needs to be reapplied?

>Screamers
How do these work, exactly? You wear them, at least one on your face presumably but where else? Are you supposed to actually wear them as pauldrons, or something? And are they, uh, aware?
>>
>>54397487
Do you mind if I ask but, what if the mecha we import ourselves into has an intelligence in it?
>>
>>54397613
Anon do you have any clue how powerful SupCom is? The mental power of Berserker OS? Or how about Solar Sorcery? There is plenty of insanely powerful things readily available in the chain.

The only reason this one seems too big is because it is measured in biggatons not absurdly hax capability.
>>
>>54397628
For this first part? Most of it's standard fantasy fare. There's a fair few notably strong people but they top out at around city levels of destruction. There is a potential apocalypse at the end and the series gets much stronger after the end of the jump but they're not too big a concern if you're keeping your head down and not taking drawbacks.

>>54397644
Yes!
>>
>>54397648
That's very wrong. You have to be a certain level of strength too IIRC as well as all of your companions(and you) being completely pure of heart.
>>
>>54397652
No idea, didn't make the jump, just remember the conversation from last time it came up. Sorry.
>>
>>54397648
You, uh, might want to talk to Val about some of the other end jumps, and how dangerous they are.

Also, don't the DB jumps ban Super Saiyan God, or was that just one of them?

Just letting you know end jumps are a touch topic and coming in blase like this is probably going to get you a fair bit of negative attention. I mean, more than usual, depending on who is online right now.
>>
>>54397649
A few days? I guess it'd be pretty good stuff. Wish I had some.

You can wear them anywhere, even on your chest if you want. No need to be on your face. I'm pretty sure they're at least semi aware.

>>54397678
It's still not very hard since those same jumps usually offer perks that get you to a certain level of strength.
>>
>>54397648
So... you're judging it based on a concept of how "easy" it is to get to those levels in Dragonball. With multiple out-of-jump options inflating the ease of which it's possible.

As far as I'm aware, a number of our current endjumps aren't terribly impressive.

Darksiders has a lot of OC stuff and the endjump bit seems to be mostly so they can offer some OC things.

What Tenchi offers as part of it's endjump scenario, which isn't combat necessary, is way below even normal dragonball z levels.

40k endjump is...probably doesn't need explaining?

Gurren lagann really depends on how you interpret the translations because it can be a lot stronger or a lot weaker based on if you think they're busting universes or multiverses.

I can't really remember any others but I do know that the ones sis is planning are pretty much at the top of the scale. It's mostly just a problem of Jumpchain having power creep but the endjumps we have not creeping alongside it, for the most part.

And I don't believe any jump bans SSG?

>>54397716

>>54397794
>And I don't believe any jump bans SSG?
If you want to get pedantic, Dragon Ball does. You're not allowed to go Super Saiyan if you go there as your first Dragon Ball jump, the logic being that you should stick to DB powerlevels while you're in DB, so presumably SSG wouldn't be allowed either.

That limitation is removed post-jump, however.

Guess I was wrong about SSG. My bad.

I'm not saying this should be an endjump, I really don't know enough about it to say that. I am saying that there are people who will jump down your throat if you so much as look at endjumps (it happened to me) and was passing along a warning. Saying they should only be for universe busting stuff will likely ruffle some feathers, and since you're relatively new here I thought I would just let you know to expect that. You don't need to listen to them if they start spouting off about it.

It might not happen, sometimes we're quite nice here, maybe you'll get lucky.

He's not wrong, anon.

Red deliberately ignored being able to buy from other chaos gods, she's fucking with the standard jumpchain system to fit her own idea of what power levels should be, and any time someone gives her criticism she either throws a bitch fit or pretends to listen before ignoring it. It's stupid and it's less than what the setting deserves. At least Val and her crew can do a jump right.

I think I get it. Sorry about that. In that case, I'll post the newest versions here to be safe.

First, here's the Peter Pan jump. Aside from a few minor changes here and there, the major things I changed are as follows:

1. Made all of the backgrounds free choices.

2. Added the Escort for the Innocent Dead perk.

3. Added the To Die Would Be An Awfully Big Adventure drawback.

4. Adjusted the My Shadow companion so that, like the pets, it doesn't count against companion limits in jumps unless specifically made a companion; I also made a section in the Notes about shadows in the setting.

5. Found a picture for the Night-Lights.

6. Improved the background so you can see the stars better.

If there are objections to any of these changes, please let me know.

I feel it's worth mentioning that there was a Nedroid comic with pretty much that exact premise.

>>
>>54398219
I don't think that's really 'universe level' since I don't think a big bang is what you think it is (And I'm pretty sure just making enough energy isn't the equivalent to blowing up the existing and much bigger universe) but even if it was, my earlier examples are still applicable.
>>

The series doesn't ever really explain. I think they'd be magically enchanted bones but given it's Abigail, they could also be biotech. They were able to fend off Arshes Nei and she could tear apart castles with physical strength or at least big parts of them. So pretty tough.

Second, here's the newest version of Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. Not as many changes here. Other than making a few grammatical changes here and there, the only two major things I recall changing are:

1. All backgrounds are now free choices.

2. Added new drawbacks, such as Got the Beat, Let's Party!, Konami Cross, Italian Mermaids, Black and White, Where is Everyone?, Comic Relief, Headache, Loner, Nightmares, Head Spin, The "T" in Teamwork is Trouble, So Much for a Vacation..., Troubles at Sea, Impossible is Not in My Dictionary!, Malleable Mind, Wait! I'm Not Ready Yet!, and Dreams of an Angel.
>>
>>54398379
If you end up in the same age as Rastlin, yes. Knife him in the spine. You'll probably doom the world unless you step in, but it'll be worth it. Rastlin makes some of the worst villains of the series look like kittens.

You do know this is some Hair Metal manga where not everything works exactly as it does in reality, right? In order to use it as an attack, it'd pretty much have to be an explosion. Or they're throwing highly concentrated, universal amounts of matter and energy at someone, where there's still enough energy remaining that it's considered a more viable attack than something more efficient. They're still casually summoning that much energy.

It mostly has to do with the mechanics of the chain itself. Each time Decade jumped into a new world, his body would absorb 'pieces' of it that would manifest as perks, powers, and even a full reincarnation for non-Drop-In backgrounds. Thing is, this had two downsides. One, in-character he had no control over said builds. Two, drawbacks would be manifested as the world 'fighting back' against him if he gained too much at once.

So rather than Yuki granting him an equivalent by herself, it's more that Decade inherited a juvenile version of what Haruhi had as a consequence of manifesting as someone she wanted to desperately see and meet...'Kyon', and the Spark was the fuel meant to ignite it.
>>
>>54397924

>>54398520
That's all Part 2 stuff. Along with a few things from the end of Part 1 that just couldn't fit into Part 1 jump without unbalancing it, so they'll be lower cost stuff in Part 2.

>Each time Decade jumped into a new world, his body would absorb 'pieces' of it that would manifest as perks, powers, and even a full reincarnation for non-Drop-In backgrounds

Some of the shit he does though required an evil mage. Like all the shit he did in the corrupted tower, and his infiltration of the dragon army near the end let him get close enough to debuff the big bad just as Tanis stabbed it.

Replacing Raistlin is a pain in the ass. If you kill him right after the war on the lance you're good to go and you'll save a shit ton of lives
>>

>>54398556
The way the mechanism worked is that Decade would act as a living 'connection' to other worlds while Yuki would observe and use said 'mechanism' herself from her box. Think of her realm/The Warehouse as a hub and the jumps as the stations, while Decade himself is the train. It was also how he was able to draw several conflicting metaphysics into being around him via powers and magic.

The reason Decade lost the connection is because Kiritsugu's Origin Bullet severed the ties to both Yuki and the worlds he was connected to. This would normally be COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE but this particular 'fuck you' was from Bernkastel making the bullet miraculously separate Decade from both these ties and Yuki. And without Yuki, he had no way to restore the connections. Without Zelretch's intervention, that would have been game over because Yuki would have no way to find Decade again - the connection in Zendikar and her song is what finally let her locate him.
>>
>>54398539

Sure, it's a pain in the ass, but if you wait that long to take him down you'd better be packing some serious anti-magic. To clarify, near the end of Season 2 Team Dai-Gurren have to break into the Antispirals' personal universe. Now, the Antispirals live "between the 10th and 11th dimensions" which explains some of the things like limbed, faced ships that can crawl back and forth along the time axis or the engine that converts spiral energy into hyperdense matter, effectively sorta like a mega-Leliel.

HOWEVER. At one point the Antispiral traps the team in what looks, visually, like what I've been told the Infinite Tsukiyomi looks like (they look like they're staying in place at their controls with light fizzing around them). Except in the TV series, when he explains it he explicitly says he's basically using the quantum uncertainty effect to create infinite possibilities from their own perception for them to be trapped in, and they break out using an effect that looks visually similar to Simon using Spiral Energy to teleport.

Apparently Parallel Works eps. 8 and 9 take place in two of those alternate worlds?

>>54398283
I think the specific line was one support character saying the big energy beam made from mashing 2 galaxies together into a not-spirit bomb was emitting energy equivalent to the big bang. And then the attack is absorbed to create STTGL, which is "merely' 1% the size of the observable universe but also can manifest into realspace but making its' own spiral space inside of itself according to the artbook.

Basically, everything's confusing because multdimensional (not parallel universe, proper dimensions) and Timelordlike clarktech shenanigans.

Sweet. I'll fiddle with it and repost in thread when I have something more concrete. I'm going with a life-themed chain and it'll include its share of powers based off of predation and feeding, circle of life and all that, so having an NP that backs that up will be fun.
>>
>>54398750
Either works, as long as you could use that hacking/programming ability without having to be on an external computer to a digital world. It's pretty much porting digital world abilities over to the real world. Just remember that they're greatly weakened in the process.

Only those who practice magic under the three gods (Solinari, Lunitari and Nuitari) are actually affected. Those who don't (and are therefore not under the Towers of Wizardry) are considered Renegades.

I thought Tanis (aka main character guy I can never really remember anything coherent about) was the guy with a thing with Kitiara? I don't really remember Raistlin having much of a deal with her.
>>
>>54398909
Kitiara is his half-sister.
>>
>>54398898
...dude, they're AI floating around on the network, not actual computer terminals.

And I'm not sure why 'being a computer program' is at all equal to 'I'm good with excel and programming while sitting at a computer;. The perk doesn't give you reality warping powers because you're good with computers. It gives you the powers you have in the digital world at weaker levels in the real world.
>>
>>54398885
Do they keep their power in the Age of Mortals? The jump makes it sound like all magic stops working then and they have to discover entire new methods.
>>
>>54398902
How did this go? Moron moron moron.
>>
>>54398787
Hmm... That might be troublesome. I thought it'd be cool and thematic to take it as a humanoid machine with the evolution perk, some kind of "crazy machine that just keeps improving to the point that it starts warping reality," but unless I spontaneously evolve digital powers it looks like I might need to add in something else.
>>
Would it be possible to learn the space time magic from Hero BBS as a Warrior?
>>
>>54398931
But if you take it, you don't have to deal with her worthless, whiny ass anymore. She's always the one pitching a fit and causing drama, she caused Ancilla to leave IRC and A2 to stop making Granblue. I'm willing to bet that she's tried to bitch you out in secret like she does everyone else. Why would you even bother to defend her anymore when you know all she does is cause shit and piss everyone off? Especially you?
>>
>>54398952
I think so. The class system just give you a leg up. IIRC there was one dude who was a mage but he fought with a sword, his Cheat, so much he maxed his skill out with it to the point where some level eight dudes thought he was nuts.

Honestly, I lost my interest in things there as the rules behind everything kept changing with the editions, and the fiction tried to keep pace. Same reason I stopped reading any of the FR novels as well.

Wow okay, IRC-side you got some little bitch to kick out.
>>
>>54398924
So the difference is just a way to mentally interface with digital systems? Because if they're just AI, then they should still be doing everything a mundane programmer would need to do, just more quickly and possibly on a grander scale. Unless they'r using magic to force them to work that way.
>>
>>54398924
I think the confusion is coming from "why would an AI downloaded into a computer have more digital power than an ub3r l33t hacker downloaded into a computer?" Yeah, the AI would have more processing power and be stronger, but they're both just minds at the end of the day and it doesn't necessarily follow that the AI would have some power that a human mind wouldn't.
>>
>>54398996
Hey, Val, what's the next jump you're expecting that we'll see from you, or that you collaborated on?
>>
>>54399010
That's some hardcore edge you got there, anon. What's next, are you going to call him a nerd and stuff him in a locker, too?
>>

Alright, let's start taking bets on which fuck it is. Somebody log onto IRC and take down a list of names.
>>
>>54399031
Seems like it.

>>54399032
Well, yeah. Provided that the person downloaded into the computer could still manipulate it, that'd work.

Probably.
>>
>>54399007
Honestly that's one of the things I hate about D&D settings. The fluff tries to stay completely faithful to the game mechanics... but the game mechanics are just too... mechanical, I guess? They feel inorganic and convoluted.
>>
>>54399021
Damn this is catchy as fuck. How the fuck is this Catchy?!
>>
>>54399078
Okay. And would you say that would /probably/ carry over into future jumps as well?

Do we have anything that would let us destroy any energy in a battle? Besides IS I mean.

You've gone too far this time, anon.

Well, since all the jumps appeared today while I was playing MoM, maybe I can continue to abuse this clearly connected coincidence to get all the jumps I'm looking forward to to suddenly release.

Not to name any Vampire Counts.

Probably! My intent was similar to how the requirements for Messianic charms followed Infernals even into future jumps.

I've told them repeatedly that they should ban everyone out of the IRC that doesn't have a recognizable name. If this shit stops, then problem solved. If it doesn't, then that means that one of the namefags is responsible for it all.
>>
>>54399206
Don't know who you are or who you think this is, but last I checked Allen was okay with those two. Pretty close friends.
>>
>>54399194
Partly because they get the monster races section, partly because there is absolutely nothing to fit there.

It's not really a trap? it's not forcing anything on you and you know how it works. It's something with a cost. Unless anything that has a cost is a trap then yeah, I guess it is?

Essentially I've sacrificed Holy Magic's limits and learning speed and added them to Necromancy?

Basically. You have a lot more trouble using Holy Magic and learn it a lot slower then normal and now have much easier time with Necromancy and learn it much quicker.

That is what I am saying, yes. You retain the benefits further on. I think it would plateau at a point - the max Cult rating in Exalted, the passive benefits of a Greater God at most in DnD, etc. and the godly benefits would probably be pooled to a setting-specific group of worshipers.

But that's just me giving a possible example, since a lot of this has to do with other setting interactions, which I'm always bad at gauging properly. Don't consider it a hard ruling unless I actually have to put it in the doc.
