She is by far my favorite deck but she is flat out banned by everyone at my LGS. I'm talking the owner strongly advises me not to play her in the tournaments because he received complaints about me and the deck banned. Yes, it's because of the MTG Movie in the works.
Magic origins shifted focus to those 5, in order to make it more movie-friendly. Nissa was the only other monogreen planeswalker besides Garruk. I would've prefered Elspeth to Gideon, but they killed her off too.

The worst part is that they kept Chandra. Chandra still has no personality after 2 blocks as a main character and 1 all about HER AND HER FAMILY. Koth would have been a way better core-red member. He was around for 1 block and has way more personality than they'll ever give Chandra. Plus if you're a faggot who cares about identity politics, he's black, he gets double diversity points.

My LGS is currently dominated by a fat fuck that plays Captain Sisay combo. It "goes off" by tutoring Paradox Engine, then vomitting the deck. Usually on turn 2 or 3 due to having ALL the fast mana in the format.

For 'game enders' think of ways to wipe the table with your army of little dudes (Overrrun Effects, Mass Pump [Mirror Entity]) Obviously Doubling Season would be good but that card is just bonkers. Deploy to the Front, Nomad's Assembly, Secure the Wastes, White Sun, and Launch the Fleet can make you a quick army. Admittedly most of those don't make Humans

Even with all the fast mana, there should NOT be enough slots worth to reliably fire off Sisay t2-3. I should know, I've been testing Paradox Engine extensively and literally pulling every piece of acceleration known to Gatherer, you just don't get enough of the good ones most hands. In fact, is it even possible t2? You'd have to drop Sisay t1 give her haste t1, and tutor the engine to drop it and start chain t2. I'm not sure a t1 sisay is even possible outside magical christmasland. Land, crypt, vault, ring, Selesnya Signet will do it but that's really specific and it would have to be a g-producing land and add Concordant Crossroads for Haste. That's 6 specific cards.

If you're not exaggerating he might be cheating if you see a t2 combo-off more than once. Ever.

Since I refuse to believe he can also give all legends haste, it can all be stopped by Smelt. I'd do it just to see the salt.

I play grixis marchesa, and she is surprisingly easy to play around.

You literally just kill her. Sometimes I steal her, which works a bit better, but just killing her works. You can kill her and then do your thing before they can recast her, or you can just murder her a couple times so they won't, since nobody is going to pay 7-9 mana for a bad leyline of the void.
Stuff like RiP is more of a problem because it gets rid of the stuff already in your yard, Ana should be much easier to deal with.

If you are having problems, run more removal, your deck doesn't have enough interaction.

At least 50% of the deck is spirits and mass graveyard revival. The other bits are fun cards and cards that get better if I have more creatures in my grave (ghouls feast, mortal combat, etc).

No. I would play with you though and not laugh. If anything, I would be interested on what your deck does, because only a handful of Kamigawa legends are played out of the 6 million there is of them.
I, too, play with bad commanders that have similar winning strategy as other in same colours or 1 more but are straight up worse than the other one.
tl;dr stop being defensive about your bad commander. You can play them and make a good and better yet, a fun deck around them.

Well, if it sticks until end of your turn and the following x turns where x is the amount of your opponents.
There's the time for your opponents to kill it or deal enough damage for you to not get the trigger. If you reanimate it, you lose 6 life putting you under 40. Animating with auras gives opponents more wide removal choice.
That card and the enchantment one are honestly pretty bad, but can be really pubstompy if that's a term.

desu there's nothing wrong with playing weaker archetypes and commanders. i have the most fun in this game when i'm playing a theme deck that isn't too strong or unfair. every time i push my deck to a point where it becomes actually strong, i immediately get upset at myself for being "that guy" for provoking an arms race and start trying to weaken the deck.

if you enjoy playing a mono black spirit tribal and you enjoy the challenge, then go for it dude. don't be afraid to buff your deck with powerful and expensive staples to keep up to the table power level if need be

Iname is pretty good though? You can make retarded amounts of mana with Crypt of Agadeem, Songs of the Damned and Black Market. Nether Traitor, Nether Shadow and Blodghast buries your opponents with Skullclamp, Grave Pact or He Who Hungers. And you can always just Balthor/Patriarch's Bidding/Living Death/Twilights Call to dump a metric "too many" creatures into play. Kokusho and Patron already makes board sweepers a potentially painful prospect, having a Zulaport Cutthroat or Pain Artist makes it potentially lethal. Or why wait, really? Just Dread Return a Gray Merchant and kill them then and there.

Yeah, you have to play a bunch of shit in your deck, but it's not like you intend to ever cast the majority of them in a game. The biggest problem is how easily you fold to graveyard hate, but at least you have burst potential that comes from just naturally playing your commander, instead of building it up slowly.

I'd build Iname myself if I didn't expect every game to be the same when playing it.

Dralnu is insanely powerful though. His drawback is drastic, but justified. I would say that he'd be 2nd most powerful Dimir commander there would be if he didn't have that ability.
That said, fun is most important thing anyway. I have a super tryhard Ghave combo, but I have a great deal of fun with it, as do I with my Hanna stax, but I also run Bladewing Dragons, Ayli cleric tribal (which has ended up being probably most fun I've had with any deck), Brion Stoutarm (which was my original deck and has evolved a lot since it's "steal and return"-days).
I also just finished making my Sapling deck and I'm going to build GG deck pretty soon, but that's going to end up being tryhard as well with Doomsday. Other than that, it's pretty much wizards&zombies tribal.

A friend of mine made it basically exactly like you, minus the "fun" part. It was just a suite of spirits, ramp to get Iname out on turn 4 or 5, several mass-rez effects, and tutors/discard.

It's not very good. Even when he really got going, he could be beaten before he won, it was just difficult. And if you stuck a Rest in Peace he'd just scoop.
