I was at the rail station, waiting for my train home. This chink was standing to my right, I barely even acknowleged him at first. He walked around me, went to my left, and then talked to me. He asked me if I spoke English, and when I said yes, he asked me if he may use my phone. He started saying "thats fine, yeah, thats fine, thats cool, thats fine, I understand" and got more and more erratic. I thought from the start that this guy was putting me in a position that I didnt want to deal with, and this made it worse. At this point I'm readying myself to fight this guy in case he pulls shit. There was also a really black Indian dude on the right, he stood next to the chink when I came to the station. At that point, I wondered why the chink approached me from my left anyway - I naturally looked at him the entire time, and I realized that it might be a ploy to divert my attention so that the Indian can mug me. That was not the case as it turns out, but alas, I walked away a bit to have both of them to my right.

Eventually, when I pretended to look away, the chink shoved me and grabbed my right arm, I think. I was expecting some shit and punched him as soon as I realized that he was touching me, and he ran away from the station.

I think being a leftie helped me out big time. He grabbed my weak hand and my phone was also in my left pocket, so he couldn't just put his hand in my phone pocket and grab it and run.

They're not much better than the AI. You have to pour kilotons of Tends To/Tends Not To so that they don't do stupid shit like spending all their transfer money on one player, or use a DoF, or give big wage rises, or have 20 rotation including keepers for cup, etc. At that point they won't do anything too stupid, but they won't do anything too smart. Once I simulated with pic related, "she" found a 190+PA RB U18s at some point. I was genuinely impressed... even though "she" has 200/200 CPA/CA and the best club in the world® and more money than she needs, etc.

Have two managers in my save (2030/31)

One is in Fiorentina after winning the quad with Leverkusen in 2025/6, just got Europa league football in my 2nd season there (1.5th technically) and have started my 3rd season well in 2nd after 8 games.

Reading manager (Harry Kane cos they didn't save him after retirement) is at Reading after a half-season at league 1 coventry getting them mid-table. Reading got relegated last season so now I am expected to win the league as I had like 33 million after I sold a few people. In 3rd atm after about 12 games, but got knocked out in the League cup first round by my old team Coventry from the division below.

Yeah you can add them at any point-I only just added 'arry in 2030 cos I was getting bored of having an OP tactic at Fiorentina. I think I will retire my Fiorentina manager when I win the CL with them in the next decade or so as by then he'll be in his 60s anyhow and will be solidly on the hall of fame.

I save scummed a few times too and that kind of ruins the magic of FM, so I just thought I'd start anew without having to prematurely spunk away my main boys legacy since he's only 50 atm.

Yeah there is a certain charm to lower leagues, there are still fair few passionate fans even here that go week in week out all around to be away supporters, and still a couple hundred home supporters every game, particularly when we were in conference south with some of the bigger teams which have seen league football in the last decade.

There is that mod which goes down to 22nd tier or whatever, although I heard it's crap from the 12th tier onwards that'd still be low enough to play in the Isthmian leagues if I could be arsed to start a new save up.

I think Leverkusen will struggle this season, looking at that lineup (but with Kießling instead of Chicarito) it's really not an inspiring centre.

Tah is still a kid and Baumgartlinger has never played at a high level of football. Kampl is pretty mediocre too. Think they could easily finish outside the top 10.

Assuming you still have Hakan he'll last you a while, although he forced me to sell him to Bayern for 30 million a few years in. Managed for exactly 4000 days in fact.

I think it is subtle enough IRL so that it doesn't stick out that much.

Leverkusen 1-0 down already btw, Kohr gave away a freekick from a clumsy challenge and Sule heads it in. As I said before the two central midfielders are going to get absolutely rekt, Leverkusen's only chance is if Volland and Bellarabi have a good game on the wings since they can counter Kimmich and Alaba's aggression with their pace. Since Leverkusen play a 4-2-3-1 it could in theory isolate Bayern's 2 defenders in the box but I imagine Rudy will fall back enough to mean that Leverkusen will definately struggle for chances.

He's tricky to develop and I havent' done an LCFC save in 17 yet but in 16 I ended up with him as one of the best players at my club by 2020

I did it by rotating him in, giving him starts when he was doing well but switching him to backup after a few rough games, and also yes, but only if you plan on playing him on the right side

Yeah, Liverpool are trash now. This is the SECOND time they got relegated.

First time around they finished 12th in the championship, then finished 1st on their 2nd year in the championship.

They survived 1 season in 17th in the prem before falling back down again and now they're just in upper-mid table. They have a kind of solid manager in Tomasov who's a former Athletico manager (though his stats are meh).

The saddest part is that their best period of time (including a 2nd place and Europa league win) was under David "tactical genius" Moyes in 2018/19 season.
