My team just scored thanks to this happening to the opposition, coupled with the CB just not wanting to go after the ball.

Ok, lads, what do I do? He's my best striker, but he's been injured all season and I've been able to replace him. He's also 28 and only worth 170K, so I don't know where the (potential) 1,5M is coming from, fucking sheikhs.

He's one of my favourite players, but that's a lot of money.
>>
>>77002760
FM just underestimates your player's value because of your low reputation.
Keep him, that amount of money is literally nothing if he's truly your best strikre.
>>
>>77002760
For the sake of offering an alternative argument; if I have a tight budget, I am always sceptical of having to sign one or two substitutes for an injury-prone "key player". I would even guess that you can find a decent or better replacement for free, given the league you play in.
>>
>>77002784
>>77002850
You aren't helping my indecisiveness. To be fair, my budget's not really that tight, I had 1M transfer budget due to qualifying to Europa League, though I don't think this year we'll qualify again.

You guys are almost there. Now switch the defensive mid (who's only duty is sweep in front of the defence and to offer a safe deep passing option) to a ballplaying CB and you're golden.

Literally the only glaring weakness that your formation has is the fact that only 2 players defend at all times, and in FM its crucial to have 3 to prevent corners. Having a third CB will revolutionize your team defensively, with almost no impact on offense.

Try it.

Jannies are asleep, post 5-2-1-2s
The first formation is what I currently use and what I won the 5th, 4th and 3rd league with (currently topping the 2nd div).
Below you can find Chemnitz FC, a team from the bottom half of the 3rd league, who decided to copy my formartion last season. They got promoted alongside me and are currently 3rd in the 2nd division, looking to get promoted again.
Lastly, you can find my 5-2-1-2 that I played when I had a much better team. I won the CL with it. Nowadays, I'd replace the RPM (shit role) for a BBM and the CMd for a DLPd.

Not ethat I switch between AMa and AMs as I need, and to BPD whenever I field a ballplaying CB.

>>77026325
Looks very good, except for the autistic roles APa (trash when he only has 2 players ahead of him) and TMs (trash).
>>
>>77026325
>all these instructions
for what reason?

do they add up to the style you want to play?

why are you playing a much higher defensive line and passing into space? what space do you expect to be able to find when you're compressing the play into half of the pitch?

why a target man? your team will lump the ball up to him over the APa and DLPs

why are you pushing so high up and closing down so much with a counter mentality? you're telling your team to play like pussies but also try to put an immense amount of pressure on the opposition when your mentality is suggesting you're the side with lower quality...
>>

>>
>>77026456
I don't know how much thought Daniel put into those instructions, but let me explain why they can make sense:

Much higher defensive line is great no matter what you're playing. The only weakness it has is that it needs really fast defenders, but if your cbs and wingbacks are rapid then much higher defensive line means that a counter attack is faced/slowed down much higher up the pitch, making it impossible for the opponent to catch you off-guard.

I'm not sure if you understand how pass into space works. There's space EVERYWHERE on the pitch, no matter how much you contract it. All this instruction does is making it more likely that players pass the ball into open spaces. The pitch is still huge even if you cut it in half (which effectively happens with push much higher up). Still, it makes your players pass the ball behind the opponent's CBs into the box (works great if your attackers are fast and roam a lot or like to test the offside trap). It also helps when a midfielder recovers the ball in the center of the pitch and passes it in front of his partner rather than into his partners feet, because it enables him to accelerate.

I won't defend the Target Man, he won't work.

>Why are you pushing so high up and closing down so much on counter mentality
Do you understand how mentalities work? Every mentality comes with a wide array of settings - it includes not only the general "defense/attackmindedness", but also with a general level of defense line height, level of closing down etc.
Counter comes with a deeper than average defensive line and less closing down. If he wants to instill his players with a more defensive attitude without making them drop deeper and close down less, he has to switch to counter and push higher up and close down more to mitigate the counter instructions in that regard.
>>
>>77026456
>>77026507
>>77026536
>>77026640
People should really make an effort to learn how mentalities and instructions work. People think way too often that playing a defensive mentality with mainly attacking duties is stupid, or that playing ""attacking"" instructions on defensive mentality is counterproductive, even though it merely shifts the levels from "defensive" to "normal".
This allows you to achieve rather specific things, like having a team that defends high and closes down a lot and plays aggressively, while still having a defense-first mentality (Bundesliga clubs often do this against Dortmund or Bayern, they don't want to just give up and buspark because they are guaranteed to concede at some point, instead they do things that one would consider """attacking""" with the intention of defending better).
Or, it can allow you to cheese the game or balance the team: if your ideal brand of football includes a lot of vertical movement from everyone, you'll want most of your players on attack duty. If you give everyone an attack duty but play on defensive mentality, they'll still defend and track back and be really solid overall, because in the players' minds the team is primarily focussed on defending, while it still allows each and every player in the vicinity of the ball to dash forward because they see their chance to attack/shine, which means that you can constantly overload certain areas of the pitch/the box and just fuck your opponent because they cannot match the numbers.

>I don't know how much thought Daniel put into those instructions
literally no thought involved, but that's a great explanation (and i even understood some of it) so i'll use it whenever someone asks me something about the tactic
is the target man completely useless then? what should i use instead?
>>
>>77026640

I'm not gonna bother watching the video you linked but I'm almost certain that the guy in the video will say that less shouts are better and that you should only pick certain shouts because you have a clear plan and goal with every one of them.
Also, people often say that having many shouts makes the tactic too complicated/convulted for the players. This is simply wrong and people who say this don't really understand how the game works.

At any given time, the amount of instructions is always the same, regardless of what mentality you use and what shouts you pick. For example, something like "push higher up" does mean that there is one more instruction for the players to follow. It merely changes the instruction that players already have to follow.
For example, it might mean that the "defensive line" percentage goes from 30% to 45% or whatever. Not choosing any shout regarding defensive line does not mean that there are no particular instructions on the defensive line, and picking one of the shouts does not mean that players suddenly get one more rule to follow that makes matters more complicated for them. No, it just changes an already existing setting, and the players literally don't give a fuck what level the slider is at. Of course, different players will do better at different slider levels, but its simply wrong to say that any given level makes the tactic convulted.
>>
So is FM still any good or what?

The same principle can be applied to the other things, too. Also, what people seem to neglect is that each instruction is VERY isolated and specific - defensive line literally ONLY influences how far away from your own goal your players want to be, width only influences the general positions of each player etc. Hence, something that many people say is wrong: "it is counterproductive to play much wider and try to exploit the middle". Playing wider might draw opposition players away from the center etc etc.

In fact, you can also play much narrower and still exploit both flanks, even if you don't even have any wide attackers in your team:
"Stay much narrower" influences the ""resting shape"" of your team. If a player is completely unaffected from what's currently going on, he'll stay more centrally than he would without the instruction.
"Exploit the flanks" influences the attacking area of your team. When on the ball, a player will look for and prefer passing options on the wings. If close to the ball carrier, players will prefer walking into free areas on the wings to receive the ball.
Hence, both instructions can work together without impeding each other - the instructions just dictate that players play narrow in general but roam wider situationally.

Of course, it is true that these things are highly specific and worse player won't be able to execute this as well, hence having such a set of instructions might not work in the lower leagues. But that is not caused by convulted tactics, but by the player profile needed for that playstyle - if you want your players to break out from the center situationally, they need to be fast. If you want them to be central at some times and wide at other times, they need good decision making to know when to do what, etc.
>>
>>77026957

But all of these things apply to all sorts of tactics, even if you don't have any instructions at all. For example, if you play on attack mentality, you need your fullbacks/wingbacks and your central mids etc to be fast, your CBs probably need some pace too - because your team will push up high, and your players will all rush forward, leaving you exposed to counters if you lose the ball.

What I'm trying to say is, people seem to lack an understanding for what sliders do (or rather, what they don't do). They're highly isolated/specific. And every mentality already comes with a set of instructions that covers every base, the additional instructions merely shift the values around a bit.

>>77032532
He only has 1.5 years left on his contract and he wants a release clause for renewing. It's literally over. I'm so INCREDIBLY seething right now. I'm genuinely considering deleting this save.
I can deal with career-ruining injuries, usually, because I don't start having genuine talent in my team before I manage to get to Europe anyway. At that point, I'm quite detached from the individual players and I just hoard talent from all continents, and I have 10-20 great youth players at any time.
This is the first time in years that I lucked into a player who looks like he's CL tier while I was still in the lower leagues, I signed him on a free, and he was just so special. Not like this. He was supposed to be the one, the golden boy.

Do I delete this save, or reload and lose 3 months of progress?
>>

that was just a joke question. I'm seething though, this will probably take me a day to stomach. I could see myself quitting this save forever, and therefore this iteration of the game as well. I'm not starting a fresh new save on FM17 anymore after having figured out its match engine, there's no point in doing all of this again.

Also lads, imagine having a boy in your CL-winning squad that signed for you when you were in the 3rd division. A player who has seen your club grow as he grew himself. An absolute legend. Literally 10 times better than Vardy. What an absolutely legendary player that wouldve been. He couldve scored the CL-winning goal, after signing for a 3rd division club when he was only 17. Ok what's up with position training in this game?

At least in other versions after a few months or a year a player could adapt to a position/role, but in 17 I have yet to have any player really adapt well to any position I've attempted to retrain them to. Suggested retrain or not they just sit with basically the same knowledge or get maybe to mid-low understanding.

It may take a few years to infinity in some cases. From what I understand, in addition to the hidden versatility attribute, there is a positional CA that can be filled up, so that the player won't have enough available points left to improve on a new position. Sucks when a player has several greenish position, but never get natural at the position you are playing him for five seasons. Reminds me a bit of FM 14 or 15, where positional training would get stuck at 12/20 points, but could get unstuck by taking him off the positional training for 24 hours, then put him back on it.

There are websites who specialise on listing decent deals, I visit them every once in a while. Well especially now because it's the sales period in France. Although if you didn't buy yet, the 3To version is somewhat of a better deal right now.

It costs 20€ more for an extra terrabyte, which is the standard price differential. Also, I think 2TB will be enough for me (it means that I have 4TB in total, which is 8 times what I really need). If the space I have REALLY turns out not to be enough for regular use then I can always destroy my external hard drive's cage and take the drive out and use it as a third drive.

I also bought a microSD for 40€ today, I needed it for my Switch. Another 100€ down the shitter for gaming, feels awful

>buying cartridges
I don't sell my games anyway, never have, and cartridges are just a huge pain in the ass. The system can only carry one at a time, and having to carry many small cartridges around me was the bane of my childhood. I once forgot Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, my favorite game when I was a small kid, at my grandma's house in Turkey and couldn't play it for two years. Since I don't sell my games anyway, there's no point in going for cartridges. I'd much rather have everything installed on the system.

I only buy physical for games that I'm not sure I'll like. Though I did buy Disgaea 5 digitally and regretted it a lot (but then again, I bought it from the Jap e-shop because it wasn't released in Europe until June, so I could not really go physical with that one).

I do have MK8D in cartridge form, and I'll probably sell because I've never really liked MK games as a child, and it t urns out that didn't change. The games are boring after a few hours and litreally every race feels the same, you do the same shit totally regardless of whats happening around you and your approach never changes. Pointless game.
>>
>>77040287
MK is a party game, if you don't play multiplayer (local, online, whatever). It's completely pointless to go against the bots, especially since almost everything in MK8D is unlocked from the get-go. It's like buying CoD/Battlefiled for the solo campaign.
>>

No, but even the online is boring af. /v/ memed me into buying it because of muh playing with /v/ is fun etc, but it is not. The races are all the same. There's literally no tactics involved in the gameplay whatsoever, you just race and the racing isnt even good, and the item system is extremely basic.

Not the development/end of the races, but each race PLAYS the same. You just go through the motions. Like, in FM you have to adapt your tactics regularly, sign new players, do transfers/contracts etc, you have to constantly change things and think critically to improve. In MK8, you just drive as best as you can, follow the basic item management rules, use some tricks (like falling back to 2nd if a blue shell is coming), and that's it.

Drive as fast as you can (this is not impacted at all by the other racers) and manage your items well (this is of course dependent on the situation, but its nevertheless a very simple algorithm that you have to do in your head). Other than that, you're just subject to the circumstances and dice roll luck. You drive as best as you can, hold onto your bananas/shells, and hope for the best. How can this keep you entertained for more than 20 races until it all becomes the same?
>>
>>77040514
>in FM you have to adapt your tactics regularly
I certainly wouldn't say that about FM. You follow basic tactical rules and that's really it.

I tried to get my mates to play MK. They think its childish, which it is. I should add that most my close friends happened to be people from eastern Europe for some reason, they don't have any Nintendo nostalgia and can see MK for what it is - a really bland racing game.

It doesn't help that they removed the best gamemode and best maps - the fighting mode where you had 3 balloons and if you lost them, that was it - doing this time-based thing with a point-system and shitloads of players on the map ruins any tactical approach and just makes it a hectic mess of a game, which all Nintendo multiplayer games seem to be.

A lot of racing games have repetitive gameplay but still manage to be exciting - cars are really fast, tracks are hard, and the game captures a fraction of the enjoyment of driving a car really fast. I love playing racing games ones in a while and taking corners at high speed, its fun and allows me to do things in a game that I wish I could do in real life. MK is just garbage imo. Thank God I kind of anticipated this and bought it physical, cannot wait to sell.

Frenchie m8, did you have a Wii U? How was Splatoon? From my first experiences from the first testfire, it felt like an absolutely frantic/hectic shooter that is way too short and fast-paced for any tactical approach - at least in turf war, you just do the same shit every time with next to no nuance (find areas that are not marked by your opponent and paint them in your color) - same shit every time, pretty much regardless of what your opponent does.

Multiplayer games are only fun if you constantly have to adapt and if every encounter can be totally different based on your enemy's playstyle. In MK8, Splatoon etc, its always the same shit. ARMS is actually a fantastic multiplayer game, too bad it has literally 0 content and died fast because of it

Outside of rally and going up Eau Rouge, I certainly wouldn't say that even if I have somewhat of an interest in racing games, but to each their own.

>>
>>77040940
The racing portion of circuit racing games is what gets to me. Qualifications tend to be fun since you're really pushing the edge on shaving off 1000ths of a second per section to get slightly higher on the grind. Once past that, you get to the start, hit turn one where you try to gain a few spots unless you get torpedo'ed by Kvyat, and past lap one either your care is fast enough to have a couple of fights, or it's not and you drive it home unless someone goes on a garbage tyre/fuel strategy. Going up Eau Rouge or Suzuka's now defunct 130R 20, 30 times in an hour doesn't mitigate that. I find it almost anaesthetic as you know the track by heart and don't really pay that much attention anymore.

Which is why I like rally games.

You need wide defenders to defend against crosses, dummy.
>>
>>77041233
defend against crosses is bad wording, I meant preventing crosses. It is never a good idea to let the opponent get close to the box and the goal line and then cross it in, and this happens occasionally if you only have a 3 cb backline with no wingbacks. IWB strengthens your midfield in attack (no holding midfielder needed if you have IWBs) and defends your wings. Pretty good package deal and vital for a defensively solid narrow team.
>>
>>77041033
>Which is why I like rally games
In which I mean that the tract changes consistently and you don't make laps and laps over it, all that while having the excitement I find in Quali laps in F1 of shaving tenths of a second turn after turn on unforgiving road tracks while only living by the instructions of a retard near you.

Which is probably one of the reasons (among others) I enjoy MK outside of the party proposition: the races are three laps long, I try shaving seconds as much as I can to somewhat mitigate items, and your race isn't over at Turn/Lap one because Kvyat didn't break or Verstappen changed his line just before the braking point of a corner that son of a bitch, or because "Mercedeswinslol".

>>77041233
>You need wide defenders to defend against crosses, dummy
Nah, you just need to break the legs of whoever is providing the balls. 4-2-3-1 is incredibly easy to shut down with the exact same instructions every single time. Even with my 3-4-3 Diamond which usually suffers a great, great deal against 4-2-3-1 with CMs. And the AI can't do anything about it.
>>
>>77041389
The AI can't, but your own players can by getting red cards. I wouldn't want to rely on tacklingw ide players hard to stop them from crossing.

>>77041389
I understand your dislike for F1 type games, I wouldnt play those either. As you've said, doing 70 laps is just too autistic for a game. Imagine having a race like the race from yesterday, but you have to drive yourself for 70 laps and nothing at all happens other than blyat BTFOing people in turn 1.

The problem with MK is that the racing in itself is not fun. The fun comes from the unpredictability, mostly. And well, when you play with foreigners online who you dont care about, there's no real enjoyment to be had. You cant feel Schadenfreude if you dont even know the guy, and the racing itself is kinda bad.

I only enjoy racing games where taking turns optimally is actually somewhat of a challenge (for me), and where driving the optimal line isnt as piss fucking easy as in MK.
>>
>>77041502
>>77041389
I just want to add the fact that I'm thoroughly enjoying the Verstappen meltdown this year. The cocky brat is not so tough anymore after DNFing so much this year. I also the fact that Ricky is redeeming himself and that Hamilton is becoming a perennial crybaby bullied by Vetlel. Now, if only the stupid fucking Finns could fuck off and leave F1 forever. Kimi especially, he has such a decent car and will probably be on par with le occasional podium man at the end of the season because he's so trash.
>>
>>77041528
>The AI can't, but your own players can by getting red cards
It's too late, and it's not them that you should mark that much more often. That's generally the point where your AssMan says "we should close this Martial/Griezmann/Bale guy more often and mark them tightly, they know how to cross". No shit. Except that if you do that they'll slip through your fingers even more even if your CBs have pic related physical attributes.

>I understand your dislike for F1 type games
I wouldn't say that, and it's certainly not limited to F1 games (especially since you can do a 25% or 50% race instead of going the distance so it's not as much of an issue). F1 2016 is well fleshed out. It's just nearly unplayable with a controller. The direction, throttle and brake control are absurdly sensitive. You can somewhat mitigate the direction by increasing steering linearity. Forget about playing without at least "intermediate" traction control assistance because for some reason you can't adjust throttle/brake linearity and a slight tough of a supposedly analog trigger gives you 25-50% power at the exit of a curve, which sends your car in the wall 99% of the time; and considering the margins on a F1 race there's no recovery even if you avoid the wall/gravels so enjoy doing nothing for 10 laps. It also turn tyre management tests in complete pieces of hot garbage where there's no margin for error at all, or turning too abruptly in a fast corner does your tyre in with no recovery options. At least now I do know why I used to kill tyres quickly in Malaysia in previous iterations of the F1 series.

Once you know the track somewhat well, it's more of the same really. The irony is that when I had tried one time attack challenge in MK Wii and I got exactly one good time... on one specific track. Which would've been good enough to kill the AI times and times over and get somewhat honourable results when driving online.

>>77041846
>That's honestly the most amazing defender I've seen so far, what a God
I jumped on him because it was literally the only German youngster that hadn't been noticed by Buyern/Dirtmount/>Gelsenkirchen.

Basically, you Tackle Hard and Shove Onto Weak Foot the FBs and AMR/L. Generally they'll just run into corners and try to hit blooters or get painfully tackled when they run themselves into corners, so they're no longer too much of a threat unless they're >LCIM. If you close them down and they cut inside or try to sniff the chalk on the byline/touch line, you'll fuck your defence up (especially if they cut inside). If you mark them tight, they'll just run off with their superior Acceleration.

You mark tightly the ST and the AMC and Close Them Down at all times but no hard-tackling since they're in positions where you'd give away useless FKs or penulties. You can shove the AMC onto weaker foot but doing so for a Striker is a complete waste of time since they'll shoot anyway. And you always Close Down, Tackle Hard and Shove onto Weaker foot the CMs. They're the ones who recycle possession so you can't leave them unmarked. It nullified Jardim's Atletico and Mourinho's Manure for me.

Basically it looks like this.
>>
>>77041996
Yeah, but this leads to red cards, which is what I said in my first post. At least in FM17, this does not work for me anymore - tackling hard is punished severely in this game.
>>
>>77042053
AML/R players almost all have "Dribble More" PI unless they're RMDs (rare) or TMs (Absurdly Rare); so closing them down makes little sense as they will come to your defence on their own to try to dribble past them or play a pass. It's faster to just break their legs or nullify their potential passing options. You're not safe from an occasional blooter but it's incredibly rare; usually when they run at full speed and try to shoot they just gift the ball to a kid in row Z.

>>77042053
>Yeah, but this leads to red cards
I don't remember the last time I had, but then I don't have players with competitive streaks or completely incompetent at Tackling either. I've had exactly zero reds that season, but it doesn't say much when your AssMan wins every league match.
>>
>>77042113
>>77042053
Oh yeah, AP(S) also don't have Dribble More, but they're shit anyway.
>>
>>77042113
Hm, pretty sick. Maybe its because I havent had a truly GOAT team yet in FM17, no stacked teams with great regens. I've always loved tackling wingers hard but I dont do it in this game anymore because the game punishes me too hard for it, I merely make them use their wrong feet.

In FM15 especially, I was always on get stuck in and tackle wing players harder (free kicks from wings are pointless anyway) and got ~2 yellow cards a game. Now if I do that then the tacklers will always certainly pick up a yellow card in the first 30 minutes.
>>
>>77042170
I suppose the closest I have to a player who's not below cheating is >>77041777 since he's a Realist and hence has poor Sportsmanship. I've very low tolerance for red cards as it fucks up my tactics 99% of the time.

>get stuck in
I never "Get Stuck In" and generally don't use "Mark Tighter". I prefer setting instructions for that on an individual basis because I've noticed that fast players almost always exploit any lack of Concentration, Anticipation or Quickness way too easily. It's almost uncanny how they can just run away from their marker just like that.
>>
>>77042217
Yeah no, I didn't use Get Stuck In in FM17, only "tackle harder" on certain players who I wanted to stop. The players who made the tackles got yellow cards too fucking fast for that shit. Just saying that in older FMs, you could do get stuck in AND tackle harder on individual players and still barely pick up yellow cards, and now everyone picks up yellow cards too fucking fast so you cant do it anymore, at least in my experience. But yeah, as I've said, I've never had a powerhouse team with GOAT regens with defenders who are great at tackling, my best team so far was a barely improved Nice (remember, I did DoF saves until my recent Dreieich save).

I can see your tactic working once youre a a good few years into the save and after you've already bought some great regens and nurtured them, but not before that.
>>
>>77042262
German/Japanese partnership, like in the good old days. The irony is that despite the hard Brexit, Manure, Man Shitty, Chelski and the likes all have better teams; so you know that if you're doing decently well against them you're going to dominate the teams in the tier just below even if they have a fairly comparable squad to yours. Y'know, because Jardim thinks that playing Greaseman as a CM in the first leg and two BWMs in the second is good, coherent thinking.

However, when I don't take such measures against a 4-2-3-1 I get mercilessly blown away because those team just have superior players. Manure and Mourninho favour fast, direct football and the 4-2-3-1 is perfect for that. The only reason not to take such measures is if you have an equivalent or better squad since the soundness of your tactics will prevail more often than not against the AI.

So I finally got my hands into a Steam card and I now have my own fully-working Steam account. I feel like I've sold my soul to Valve tBh.
Anyway, I have been used some guy's account to play CS:GO for months and now I want to use the 6€ I have left in my Steam wallet to gift him a game, so pls if you lads know of any good game for less than 6€ let me know.

maybe

>>77048245
Everything is more than that pretty much. I dunno when Steam got so expensive.
I've got a bunch of games on there that weren't big games when they came out and are now a few years old and they're still all £8-£15 which is pretty crazy.
I was gonna recommend The Swapper thinking that would fit in your price bracket and is a comfy game with a good atmosphere but after checking its still £12 and then I was gonna meme you with Lords of Football but that is still £11.
Even that meme game SI made for charity, Malkia, is £9.99. I paid half that on release and it came with literally about a dozen other games in a package.
>>
>>77048399
I guess I'll have to wait for a sales period or just gift him some indie shit game or EURO truck simulator.
>>
>>77048245
Wait for the next bigger sale or check out the daily sales, you can get pretty much any not-brandnew game for 5€ to 10€.

Depending on your mate's taste, I'd suggest something like XCOM or XCOM2 (tactics games), CIV5 (startegy game), a Witcher game (RPG), or Deus Ex: Human Revolution (shooter)

PS: Do you have your own bank account/money/income? If so, set up a Paypal account, makes payment much easier and much more hassle-free

He's German so he would probably like this working simulator but it's 10€ and I only have 6. I might wait until the weekend and get him something more expensive though.

I can't believe how 3rd world tier even western European countries can be. I feel bad for you dude, my state gives me 192€ for my living expenses, and up to 670€ a month for studying (sadly I get no money in that regard, the payment of up to 670€ is based on your parents' income and my parents make too much money).

What do you do right now, are you a student or simply a NEET? Can't you work on the side or do some paid internships?

I'm studying, I don't get state scolarship because me father makes good money. I'd like to find a job to pay the last year of the career + the master myself and to go live with some mates, but it is not that easy to find a job here tBh.

Don't you get an allowance from your parents then? My parents created a bank account for me when I was 14 and just sent my monthly allowance of 20€ (iirc) onto that account so that I get used to that shit.

You seriously should consider making such an arrangement with your parents, its much more comfy than getting physical money. It's very easy to turn money from a bank account to physical money when you need it, but the other way round is much more annoying.

don't your parents have any connections? like, a friend of theirs who has a car repair shop or some moving company etc etc

you could work part time or at a club during summer
>>

rat simulator looks like meme shit, don't know about the 3rd one but one finger death punch is pretty good, but your friend might not like it
>>
>>77048710
Why would your father's income matter if you are over 18? Is it because you choose to live at home?
>>
>>77048710
PS: Don't buy any of the shit tier games. Put the games that I recommended earlier onto your wishlist and check out their current prices from time to time. All of the games I recommended are loved by most and offer ~50 hours of play time at least (up to FM tier playtimes if you want for some). Much more value to wait a bit and buy one of those games than buying a gutter trash tier shovelware game now. Your friend will appreciate it.

In many countries, state money for students is paid only to people from poor households. For example, youth in Germany have the right to 670€ a month, but the state says that that money has to be paid by my parents in full because they make enough money. That sum is paid partly or in full by the state if your parents don't earn much money.

Theoretically, one could sue their parents for 670€ a month. Too bad such a lawsuit would take a year or more to resolve, and the parents can just inflate their expenses etc to show that they cannot pay more, so it is not even worth it in the end.

At least in Germany, a parent's obligations towards their child does not end just because they turn 18. They are still obligated to pay for their expenses until they learn a trade or get a degree that qualifies them to work.
>>
>>77048812
It sounds fair in theory, but they don't seem to take parent's expenditures into account (which could be higher for different reasons).
I think it works more or less in the same way in Norway if you are still living with your parents, but I don't believe they take into account the parent's income if you live on another address.
My problem as a student, is that I have too much money to get a stipend, because of previous saved incomes, etc., which means that for the next year, I will have to study without any kind of stipend.
>>
>>77048743
>Don't you get an allowance from your parents then?
Yeah, I do, but in cash.

>>77048755
I don't choose to live at home, I don't have other options. Anyway the average age in Spain for when people leave their parent's house is 29. Also I live less than 5 minutes walking from Uni so I didn't have to move from home to go.

>>77048746
>At a club
They only hire women
I could get a wesser job but that wouldn't give me enough money to leave home.

>>77048764
Is The Witcher even as good as normies say? I have considered (illegally) downloading it a few times but fantastical elements in a medieval game are a turn off for me.
>>
>Club Owner is leaving
>I'm not getting an Oil Prince sugar daddy to replace him

I'm sad.
>>
>>77048862
I was very skeptical when I first tried Witcher (3), but I think the quality and 'seriousness' of the game overall is good enough not to worry about trolls and witches being silly. It also took me until a couple of years ago to try Skyrim, because I thought it was a game for girls (my ex played it). Witcher 3 is one of the games I have played most after FM. I have only played Witcher 1 for a few minutes, and I felt the controls were very awkward.

It's unfair as fuck. If your parents live in a high-cost city like my mom, you're shit out of luck. We pay 1000€ in rent alone each month because Frankfurt is so expensive, my dad also pays 600€ or on his rent, both have cars which needs an insurance, comes with a tax, and consumes gasoline, etc etc. That side of the equation is not considered at all.

The worst part of the equation is the fact that it literally fucks you over if your siblings have an income. Once they make any amount of money, the state says that the parents dont have to pay for that kid anymore and can focus their income on the unemployed (student) child. Parents dont want to do this, obviously, because they want to treat their children equally.

Thank God I studied one of the best-paying subjects. Literally the easiest to get internships at one of the Big4 auditing firms get me ~1300-1500€ a month. I dont even know how students do it in cities like Munich or Frankfurt - rent is insane, living costs are insane, and the state simply doesnt care.
>>
>>77048862
Live with your parents and work part time at a lesser job then. You can save money for later use
