Teams in FM have a short name and a long name, their long name is what displays on the club page, it is the full name of the team. In the competitions tab the shortened name (and the common name when speaking about a team) should be shown. If that is the case, everything is fine and you shouldn't really be changing anything.

If this isn't the case, open the editor, load the name fix, search the team in the database, change the name of the team you want to change, verify the database, save it, and reload.

This was very easy for me as one of my best friends is a gym junkie. So as soon as I noticed that I had a belly I just went with him. Now at my lowest fat % in like 4 years and into normal BMI. I was never obese or something though.
