/bant/ has no topic.
>>
>>1542409
I guess.
But /sp/ and /asp/ do, and /b/, /vip/, [s4s] and /r9k/ don't. There's no excuse for picking /bant/.
Even /news/ would do better.
>>
>>1542415
>There's no excuse
Lets not act dumb, of course there is. /bant/ was clearly made as a runoff for /pol/, they wanted to dump a lot of the garbage on /pol/ onto another board. And eitherway, I doubt they want people to discuss the politics of the fight on /sp/, the place for that is surely /bant/.
>>
>>1542390
No, it means mod saved literally the first result from google image search and then added "not politics" in paint without changing the file name.

>>

>mods create sticky on /bant/ for fight
>/bant/ regulars shitpost the thread to death making it unusable for people who actually care

Fucking poetry.
>>
>>1542613
why is a spots sticky on a board that has nothing to do with sports?
>>
>>1542610
>>1542612
Holy shit, the moderation is a fucking joke.
>>
>>1542615
Honestly, I think the mods are trying to raise awareness that /bant/ exists. I think the users on the other boards are actually becoming frustrated because they're being forced to go there for discussion that doesn't belong there as well. That thread is a fucking mess, there is no coherence at all and I'm sure at least the /sp/ and /asp/ guys are a bit frustrated they're being holed up there.
>>
>>1542612
>>1542613
>>1542618
>why did they make a sticky on /pol/ redirecting people to /bant/
Because people were making vaguely politically charged threads about the fight on /pol/, and they don't want threads about fights on /pol/
>why did they make a sticky about the fight on /bant/
Because they just told /pol/ people to go to /bant/ to make politically charged threads about the fight
>>
There is a mafia in qa bump all loli moe anime girls threads
>>
The not-sticky "official thread" on /sp/ is still faster than the sticky on /bant/
>>
>>1542612
Because no one wants to have /pol/tards on their board.
If a sticky on /pol/ redirected everyone to /sp/ it would cause million of "get back to /pol/" posts. And /sp/ would complain about /pol/ and hate moderation team forever.
>>
amazing thread on /news/ right now >>>/news/170951
>>
>>1542610
So how hard did /bant/ got fucked by this event?
>>
>>1543125
very. from the time since the sticky went up on /pol/ there have been 30276 posts on /bant/, which is equivalent to 3.5-4 days worth of posts normally. but this doesn't account for the quality of posts, which have been in the gutter since the sticky went up. the post rate has slowed slightly and there are some or "normal" threads but they're still getting spammed with /pol/shit
>>
>>1543133

As much as I feel sorry for /bant/, they were the best choice for hosting the thread because they're able to take off-board invasions like a champ because they've been invading themselves for kicks. They know how to keep their important threads up and how to slide shitposts, especially now that the board is running at 2 seconds/post again.

>>
>>1544773
why are you currently on a social media site then
>>
>>1545914
Because there's nowhere else to go. If I had the option to go to a smaller but active image board of like-minded individuals I would take it in a heartbeat, but I don't because everything on the internet has become homogeneous and basically boiled down into 10 or so sites. My hope is that when the social media bubble pops and the all encompassing websites go offline smaller more niche sites will become a thing again. But until then I'm stuck here like everyone else.

>>
>>1549938
There's a discord group that feels it's fighting an epic battle for Western civilization by trying to convert /bant/ into /pol9k/ shit after said group got pushed off /qa/. They're joined by random teens from /r9k/ and /(ml)pol/ that just shitpost for the sake of shitposting.
Right now a /qa/ thread needs a bump every hour to survive so feel free to converse in this thread to keep it alive.
>>
>>1549972
That doesn't really cover everyone with an axe to grind against /qa/, but the one thing that binds them together is that everyone across imageboards recognize them as cancer.

8gag- no need to explain, really. Some of them are from their /pol/ board, but the most dedicated are from a drama-obsessed raid group that only raid boards as their primary hobby. To name them is to give them the infamy they crave. They lost their 2016 launch platform of /qa/ to start 4chan interboard raids. They're mostly on a discord.
mlpol- they're still quite upset about their failed "conquest" of /qa/ and their own board is stale and uninteresting so they come here. Also organized on discord. Some of them tried to set up shop on /bant/ to disastrous results.
Then there's just random shitters from /r9k/, /tv/, /pol/ and every other board associated with everything wrong with modern 4chan.

page 7 bump

What is it about /qa/ that attracts this unparalleled level of rage and obsession? Is it because being unable to take over an unmoderated board makes them realize how impotent they are, ruining their teenage power fantasy?

All of those boards are containment boards though.
