Fact: This dumb girl on multiple occasion has proven to be against a unified Chinese country.
Fact: Taiwan presidential election is soon, so everyone on both side of the sea is very sensitive.
Fact: Fucking Taiwanese were the first to manipulate this girl to generate anti-Chinese hatred in the Taiwan.
So don't go blame Chinese for being angry at the girl when this whole things was started by Taiwanese media first.
Speaking as a Taiwan worker on visa, we do not hate China and never have. We are Chinese you know? We just like our independence but very much value our traditional heritage in our cultural roots.
Is anyone but a handful of party bosses in favor of conquering more land, ie what you call "unification"?
Why don't they try to govern what they have?
I suppose that Japabese ambassador you murdered like a herd of panicked wild animals had it coming because the Japanese tribally speaking "started it."
Independence doesn't make sense. This is about heritage and identity so how can there be two nationality of Chinese? It doesn't make sense. Chinese is Chinese!
Nation of criminal descendants
You have no idea how unanimous Chinese are in this matters.
I don't understand Chink immigrants, having the privilege to live in western countries, calling everyone a traitor if someone dosen't want anything to do with the shithole China.
>chinese is Chinese.
Yes I am from Taiwan and we are Chinese. But we are island not on mainland china. Many say we left china and are traitors so it is sad many of us have family mainland but it is difficult to visit to them. Chinese is Chinese but that is heritage, politically China never cared for Taiwan in past so it grow apart politically, we are proud to be a country, but also proud to be Chinese.
You have to go back Chang
I just want the glorious Neo Japanese Empire to conquer the whole show, all of East Asia, and put an end to the endless whining.
As someone in the public eye, she needs to watch her actions, even the simplest gesture will affect many, many people
She made an entire nation look bad, and apologized for it, I don't see the issue
>She made an entire nation look bad, and apologized for it, I don't see the issue
Bullshit. How is holding the flag of your sovereign nation making it look bad? ROC is the legitimate government of China.
It's a fucking 16 yo girl waving the flag of her country.
Anyone who think it's bad is a retard, wherever they come from.
Uniting with communist run 'China' means flushing 5000 years of Chinese heritage down the toilet.
As a proud ethnic Chinese and Sinophile, I won't shed a tear when Beijing gets nuked
Hello CIDF. Must be nice living in the land of freedom where you can actually access the internet eh?
I'd love a "unified China". If you could go take your unified China and fuck right off out of the rest of the world and stop making all our shit more expensive that'd be great.
>ROC is the legitimate government of China
looks like we don't have much common ground here
I'd defer to the UN on this one
In turbulent times like these, it's irresponsible as fuck
some chinese and vietnamese, who are mainly in Sofia (the capital)
i think i saw nip tourists once and a guy who i think might have been korean in a sushi restaurant
also back in the day, the communists imported some vietnamese laborers to work on major construction projects as part of an exchange program
some of them started families here so now you occasionaly see some mixed people like pic related
KMT supports one china under their rule (or at least democratic rule)
I know they'll be willing to nuke the mainland if it means sucessfully recapturing the motherland
16 year old Taiwanese idol in a korean pop group was on a nobody watches TV show.
She was given, by the show, a taiwanese flag. She held the taiwan flag for a few seconds on the show.
Because of this Chinese Nationalists went crazy after seeing a picture of her holding it and spread rumors all over chinese internet about her being a pro-independence etc.
Chinese bullied the little girl into doing this
a humiliating ISIS hostage video where she apologizes to the little angry chink internet army
Because of this, Taiwan will vote for a pro-independence party in today's elections which will anally devestate those sames nationalists
bascially stupid chinks fuck themselves over by pissing off Taiwan and threatening taiwan over a 16 year old girl being handed a stupid flag.
Everyone in korea and elsewhere who hears about sides on the anti-china side.
Mainland Chinese did everything from tastelessly simplifying the Hanzi to wrecking cultural treasures with Red Guards. Meanwhile, Chiang and the ROC saved the Palace Museum treasures from commie depredation.
Damn. Asians really are everywhere.
Didn't know there were Asians in Bulgaria until now, especially imported from Vietnam. Surprising to know you guys had sushi restaurants as well.
Oh yeah, except for the fact that she's part of a KOREAN pop group, the photo was not her idea and probably not even taken in Taiwan.
Don't you have Egyptian monuments to deface, rats to eat or some other retarded shit that mainland Chinese do?
The Taiwanese should be proud of their country, proud of their culture, proud of their people and proud of their flag.
lt;dr: China is shit.
Reuters picked up the story
Chinese netizens making their country look like shit over this
143 news articles in the west over dumb chinks angered over a little girl holding a flag on a 1000 viewer TV show in a shitty time slot
top kek dub fucks cant into soft power
KPOP is subsidized by the government in order to improve asian relationships after the "hallyu wave" started.
By having chinese speaking and japanese speaking members they can better promote around all of asia
as far as i know only Koreans eat.dog on a regular basis, the only Chinese who do are.from Yulin and they.eat it for a festival.
Only place I ever saw dog meat was a Korean restaurant in Japan
they're still very few, but they are really quick to spread, especially the chinese
good thing is that they don't set up ghettos and they usually start businesses (mainly restaurants and trinket shops, but still)
fucking beats me how they do it, since almost universally none of them bother to learn bulgarian, besides some basics
China's firewalls best use is keeping everyone from hating them. If China was integrated into the greater internet everyone would be allied and declaring war on them.
It would be like BR or peruvians in video games except everywhere and a billion of them.
I remember back in the 80s when my older cousins listened to J-pop.
What happened to Japan's soft power? Why do people around the world listen to K-pop, and Japan is seen as this weird place where tentacle porn comes from?
Japan is insular. They don't actually like foreigner interest.
Also IIRC japan music and acts are banned in most asian countries. Korea for instance heavily restricts any Japanese music or shows. Plus the domestic Japanese market is pretty large.
>M48H/CM-11 "Brave Tiger": ROC M60 version utilizing an up-gunned M48A2 turret mated to an M60A3 hull. Also has significant upgrades to the gun tracking equipment and fire control.
You're not wrong
>I guess insulting and attacking the 16 year old girl didn't work
>let's try kidnapping some more Hong Kong booksellers
>that didn't work either, how about destroy a mock Taiwan building
>Let's call them dogs all over the internet
Jeez, the Chinese just can't catch a break. Such effective social engineering masters. I'm sure Taiwan will want to join them any day now.
So whenever there is some domestic problem (contamination scandal, labor dispute, etc.) one of the things the central government loves to do is manufacture conflict with an external foe.
Chinese are dumb and servile and easily distracted, so by doing this the government buys itself some leeway from criticism.
So my question to you is this: With China's Shanghai exchange on pace to lose over half of its value from the year-high mark and dips cracking through every leading economic index,
HOW SOON before we see them taking a gamble on something huge like a WAR on Taiwan?
My sense is that it is still a way off but I don't think it would be off the table if we were to see a wide-scale 2008-style bubble burst.
But how long would it take before a war? What would be the events leading up to such a conflict?
Kpop and Kdrama are the only way korea is even known in America. Korean companies had to make their names sound like Japanese to even be known as not Chinese.
So for Korea, KPOP / Kdrama are pretty big exports internationally.
They pretty much are known for, video game players, kpop, and kdrama. Maybe revenge movies among movie buffs.
K-pop is big in Japan too - groups like Kara and Girls Generation are popular here. The Korean dramas were big a while back, but the popularity waned pretty dramatically as of late.
I think Japan became too Westernized - they're always trying (and failing) to try and learn English and always suck up to foreigners. Sony was great when it did it's own thing, now after a decade of trying to target western consumers, it is dying a slow death. Now Samsung is much bigger.
Electronics, music, games, everything. I want off this ride.
NO chance, though?
I mean, Soviet Union circa 1991 style government uprising and implosion? Rioting in the streets?
You don't think that the ChiComs would try to hook Formosa back into the fold but would rather just pack up their bags and retire in Vancouver?
I'm not sure I agree.
I just meant kpop is a big cultural export of Korea. Japan doesn't need a big music act to make it big to be known. We have sushi, japanese eateries, etc even in small USA towns.
Korea is less known and less popular. Hence why kpop export is important.
Taiwan and China don't even use the same writing system anymore.
>You have no idea how unanimous Chinese are in this matters.
It's pretty much the only thing chinese people are allowed to protest about.
Taiwan is where the losers of the Chinese civil war went 50 some years ago.
Mainland china and part of taiwan think that they're still one country, that just disagree on the government.
Mainland China gets MEGA asschapped, more than falklands level about anybody that says otherwise, or recognizes Taiwan. including teenage girl pop stars.
They can't stop licking the balls of English speaking nations.
Literally every conversation in every restaurant or bar here will have some form of, "... if I could only speak the English."
I'm not deluded - they don't want an influx of foreigners, but they do want to do things in a similar manner, but in a Japanese way.
But this is off topic.
>based Taiwan, fuck China
Possibly if they could do some top tier operation with impeccable execution that made it seem like an organic uprising.
I don't see that happening. I don't think they have enough local support due to horrible relations.
The PRC also had a massive cultural revolution destroying tons of shit so they wouldnt have to be Chinese anymore but instead could be communist. Taiwan, on the other hand has not. Which carries on the Chinese tradition? Probably the ones that eat dogs and shit on the streets.
Kpop groups still routinely sell out Tokyo Dome, so someone here is listening to them.
I've only been to Korea a couple of times, so I dunno how westernized they really are.
I do know however, that it is painfully obvious which tourists in Tokyo are from mainland China and which ones are from Hong Kong or Taiwan. Money doesn't buy culture.
Actually, didn't some fat bulgarian guy become a Sumo Wrestling superstar?
Actually, could this be the first time Japan and Korea have ever WILLINGLY worked together culturally, that didn't involve america and a big ass pile of guns? Well that, and chocopies.
>You don't think that the ChiComs would try to hook Formosa back into the fold but would rather just pack up their bags and retire in Vancouver?
I'd bet on tickets to Canada and melborne. But I wouldn't bet the bank on it.
The moat we call the Taiwan Strait is the only thing keeping the island safe from communist dictatorship
... not exactly. The one china policy is basically an agreement on both sides that there is only one government of China. The dispute is which government that is. I'd take the ROC any day.
They living in Japan while hating Japan.
They are truly worse than nigs in USA.
The worst thing is,They act like Japan expert even though they can't even speak any Japanese language...
at least nigs in US can speak local language and don't hate USA.
>shitty alt or eikaiwa teacher
her holding the flag trended on chinese twitter
It's one of those things that Chinese "netizens" behave like a crazy mob and are extremely brainwashed by the gov. So they all got funneled onto the 16 yo gold because of a mob mentality and turned it into a big enough deal the presidential candidates and Taiwan TV covered it as a main story.
Basically Chinese netizens got out of control and into a frenzied mob over something stupid and it made them look really bad in the end.
They ended up pissing koreans off too. The only losers are the kpop company and china.
These articles are very strange that say we Taiwanese prefer to be called Taiwanese and NOT Chinese. While culturally we are Chinese, we only say Taiwanese since we are from island and not mainland china. Is not big deal that many in west think it is. Is more geographic to understand this meaning.
Filthy fucking Nip.
Remember Battan and 731 and Pearl Harbor, you slanty-eyed fuck.
nah, just kidding :)
Some of you guys are alright. Don't go to Hiroshima tomorrow.
I know here in the west kpop and kdrama is popular with the 18-24 yo crowd. Heck, even my 60 yo mom watches kdrama
Japan these days is known only for anime and not much else. Few people play jrpgs
>at least nigs in US can speak local language and don't hate USA.
>KMT used to be like this but what changed
They found wealth in the mainland.
There has been a schism in the party though, in the form of what transliterates into "New Party". They're our UKIP but it's only now that they're gaining relevance.
> Shouldn't YOU be remembering pearl harbor?
I never forgot. :,(
I think they get paid pretty good, from what I understand. Plus, literally you need no real training or education.
Ring me up for my cigarettes you combini working pleb.
Mainlanders can't fathom that someone calling themselves Austrian doesn't mean they h8 Germany.
>Well with Merkel, maybe they do now
Switzerland also shares the same language and culture
Then why not use that to force them to rejoin China?
Or, maybe Taiwan will stay independent even if they would lose 70% of economy?
Seems like China is really appealing to Taiwan well. I'm sure they all want to rejoin and have CCP rule them.
Looking at the shit that happens in HK, do you think Taiwan woudl ever go for that?
Well, the dude's the most famous bulgarian in all of Asia, if not the entire world.
I dunno, when I took a trip to the mainland I found out that their media portrays Chiang as this Sanada Yukimura type tragic hero.
And now back here there are people from the greens wanting to disown him as a war criminal.
>Switzerland shares German culture
I have been both countries I do not think culture is the same???? I see switzerland many more cows than germany. When in germany I see no parades involving cow, but in Switzerland every week was a cow parade. So I think they have different cultural values where in Switzerland they value the cow, while germany they value beer I notice.
China hates this
For being given a stupid flag on a tv show for 10s
I taught English in China for a while before leveling up to become an administrator there.
Eventually the shittiness of the people (backwards, collectivist, materialist, dumb-asses) got to me.
That being said, I'd love to go back to Asia sometime. Japs seem pretty cool.
What country in Asia is friendliest to shit-tier EFL teachers?
Is it just me or do gooks make us crackers look like a big happy family? Why the animosity?
You know the world wars?
The nationalism/environment that led to them?
All of the asian countries saw that as strength and wanted to emulate it. China sees germany/japan pre-ww2 as perfect and strong systems.
Europe/America worked against the strict nationalism and more cooperation etc.
The problem is the West took it too far to the globalist side, while China/Asia is going too far to the nationalist side.
The problem with the nationalism in China is that it kills their foreign relations with people like Taiwan.
In any case, you are kidding yourself if the Chinese government cares about some 16 year old pop star
The apology was only made so she could continue taking money from Chinese market.
Stay ignorant, you're misrepresenting facts and history
Alright fag that's getting really lame. I get it you think its cool to practice your Japanese but the rest of the board doesn't understand you. I said the same thing to the Germans who made threads speaking in only German.
>you are kidding yourself if the Chinese government cares
Sure they care: she's just the latest scapegoat used to deflect attention from real problems like the crashing Chinese economy. Whenever the corrupt party bosses feel the heat, they whip the brainwashed masses into a frenzy, be it anti-Japanese riots or this.
ignorant? communist fucking rat didn't fight in ww2. they hide like rats and let nationalists die then take over when nationalists were weakened. people's republic is a fucking lie. they steal glory from nationalist chinese and pretend they win ww2. fucking rat communist
Which I'm really thankful of. Though it's not going to stop the DPP from farther pushing that agenda.
In this case it comes from the Han Chinese who settled in Taiwan before WWII and had been ruled over by the Japanese. One of our previous presidents actually prides himself for being in the IJA and fought for their cause.
pro-china group to lose election in Taiwan
also all political parties in Taiwan condemn Chinese bullying of Tzuyu
Candidates from across the political spectrum sounded a rare note of unity Saturday after a teenage pop star posted a video online apologizing for having waved the Taiwanese flag on a South Korean TV program.
Sixteen-year-old Chou Tzu-yu, who performs under the name Tzuyu, had apparently been compelled to make the apology after her South Korean management company suspended her activities in China for fear of offending nationalist sentiments on the mainland.
Ma, Tsai and Chu all condemned what they described as the bullying of a young girl.
Why is the Japanese girl in this Korean group the sluttiest?
It's incredibly obnoxious. It's so obvious.
I mean, at least Israel does it with a little more grace.
They start with a loaded question. «How can you not support our right to defend ourselves»
China just goes in with a shitpost opinion that no one cares about.
>a 16 year old girl caused 1.4 billion chinks to get mad because she was given a flag as prop on a stupid tv show in fucking korea that koreans dont even watch
Which only makes China look worse lel
>tfw chinese people use derogatory terms to address their own race and consider themselves better for sucking white dick
That is some serious cucking. Somehow you think that calling mainlanders chinks, you think you're not a chink to the rest of the world?
how fucking deluded are hkers and taiwanese (I mean fake chinese).
Your flag is like Chinese-made gay rainbow flag.
No. English teacher mostly bad here, too. Most should be sent home, do not do their godamn job.
Just American, mostly.
They don't know subtlety. In the PRC they can just brute force propaganda and people there were raised with "comply or wind up in an administrative prison making Hanes shirts for the rest of your life," so they'll follow in lockstep. That shit doesn't work in HK. The Brits never broke anyone's kneecaps for not being able to recite Monty Python from memory.
Hi friend, I noticed you've made a couple common mistakes with your English.
>America(ns) have shitty taste
... Eat (a) greasy hamburger.
English is one of the most difficult languages in the world to sound fluent in, so don't be discouraged.
I'm just incredibly sick and tired of the "With the Mainland or with Japan" animosity radiating from the spark within the two parties.
Doesn't help when this is the thing the Media here decides to focus on all day as well. It's like living in a small Balkan country where there are only two parties in which one shills for the Turks and the other shills for the Russians.
Mauritius, a volcanic island nation in the Indian Ocean, is known for its beaches, lagoons and reefs. The mountainous interior encompasses Black River Gorges National Park, with rainforests, waterfalls, hiking trails and native fauna like the flying fox. The capital, Port Louis, blends foreign influences and offers sites such as the Champs de Mars horse track, colonial Eureka plantation and 18th-century botanical garden.
But the guys shilling for the Pope get all the international support.
>And now they get to be cucked by Brussels
You should be asking why do Japs travel to Korea to join a K-pop band?
Because J-pop is dead outside of Japan, and riches and fame comes via Seoul
Fucking this. I was in Beijing for the big Anniversary and it was just too funny.
Plus then they bring out their army of "models" who all happen to be the same height. I saw in another thread that the PRC is supposedly sending trooping into Syria. What are they going to do, march past ISIS in an orderly line yelling, 同志们好!
Pretty gay, imo.
To show the world not to take taiwan independence seriously.
Everyone wants fucking independence, fucking tibet, fucking ughyrs, fucking hkers, fucking taiwan.
So many fuckers trying to break away, but we will suck them all back in like vacuum. Throughout chinese history, rogue states have come and gone, but china has always remained.
>china goes communist
>taiwan is basically the last remnant of china's legitimate government, and was treated as such by UN until the '70s
>its gdp per capita is 10 times bigger than that of china now
oh the irony
You have no idea how many Chinese sleeper agents there are. About 40% or more of local businesses are run by Chinese umbrella corporations, and I'm not talking about China town ghetto shops but more like shwarma palaces and more misc shit. They work closer and suck up money quicker then any Jew could, Because they work as a singular unit.
All Asian students study business management here. Check the flag always, Canada is already China's conquest.
it's only a matter a time before a pro PRC party will try for unification. This issue is the same everywhere
israelies won't let palestine have a state
canada won't let quebec have a state
and china won't let taiwan have a state
russia won't let ukraine have a state
If the U.S ever stops policing the world, shit is going down.
"Taiwan independence movement/activists", or "Taidu", is one of the CPC's favourite tools to distract their peons from all the internal unrest within China. Think the two minute hate from "1984".
But like the Cultural Revolution, anything that can be remotely associated with Taiwan's sense of self-determination, will be a target for mob anger. In this case, a 16 year old Kpop singer wielding a flag from her birthplace, and on previous occasions introduced herself as "from Taiwan" - made her a legit target.
The stupid thing is, she is probably too young to have any in-depth knowledge of cross strait politics. Not to mention actual Taidu activists despise the flag she held, since it actually belonged to the Chinese nationalists that were kicked out of China, but later imposed it onto the Taiwanese.
The irony is thanks to this event, Taiwanese have become even more loathsome towards the Chinese. And we will proof it with today's election.
Hell no, they're fucking massive. I used to know a girl who's family were Triads; her dad, uncles, and one of her brothers. They had grow ops all over the city. She once gave my friend a ziploc bag full of THC crystals. But do you ever hear about the Triads getting busted? Never happens.
and its not popular don't worry. Just because ppl listened to gangnam style doesn't mean it was actually perceived as legitimate music, it was more like when u go to the zoo and watch monkeys taking food out of a box with a stick
My girlfriend's father OWNs a dozen restaurants in my city, we walk by any store and she can tell me the name of the manager there before we walk in.
The world is scary, but she is adorable and loyal and my dick reaches her cervix so I'm content with what I have
Canada is an organized crime haven. Always has been. The banks in Canada are some of the best in the world for laundering money, the laws are lax, and the officials are all corrupt as fuck. There was a minister in the Chretien government who was a made member of the Mafia. The Mafia is hugely powerful in Quebec and Ontario, the Hell's Angels pretty much run BC, and I believe that Alberta is mostly Triads. Don't really know about the rest.
They're much more covert. A lot of white collar, corporate crimes, similar to the Yakuza.
I only talked to the girl intensely about it a few times, but one thing she said is that pretty much every Chinese person you see, has a cousin or a sibling, or someone close to them, that's involved either in Triads or a proxy gang. They're really fucking big.
A kimono wearing otaku social studies professor and hikikomori was teaching a class on Asian History.
"Before the class begins, you must get on your knees and worship Emperor Akihito and accept that that the Japanese are the most highly-evolved human beings that the world has ever known."
At this moment, a sagacious, filial, scholar-gentleman who has scored ahead of 150,000 students in the Civil Service Exams and understood the full extent of the barbarity of those living outside Zhongguo held up a copy of the Nihon Shoki.
"What are the characters written upon the pages of the Nihon Shoki?"
The arrogant professor smirked, tightened his hachimaki, and smugly replied "Kanji, you baka."
"True, Kanji, which loosely translates into "Han characters." To be precise the Nihon Shoki is written in Guwen, which is Classical Chinese script. If the Japanese are indeed perfect human beings then they would have come up with their own culture & civilization as opposed to just borrowing from the Chinese or from anyone else."
The Professor was visibly shaken and dropped his calligraphy brush and copy of CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura. He stormed out of the room and tried to commit seppuku like in his animes.
The students applauded with a big "wansui!" and all signed up with the Popular Uprising that day and declared that the scholar-gentleman has the Mandate of Heaven. A dragon named "All Under Heaven" flew into the room and coiled around the Chinese flag and magically turned it yellow. The Analects was read several times, and the Jade Emperor himself showed up and enacted territorial seizures of disputed territories around the country.
The professor lost his tenure and was fired the next day. He died of complications caused by an erroneous performance of the seppuku ritual and went to Diyu, where he is tried, found guilty, and punished by the Ten Yama Kings of Diyu.
