They are supposed to be either in Homs pocket or Northern Hama.
Training ground is surrounded by a few buildings and next to a small town. Trees in the area are typical for Hama and Homs area. A minaret and factory are supposed to be nearby but haven't been confirmed.

Also France and UK weren't as eager and they were one of the main bombing forces during Libya campaign

>I just found it strange that you wasn't into much arab history in the past if you were Moroccan
It's not like we learn much about modern arab history in school or anything like that
People care about Morocco, not about the arab world in general except to show some compassion from time to time when bad news are heard... we're not that close, especially since Morocco is really at the veeeery extended middle east.

Ideally what we should see, and I believe will see is a large amount of bakeries being built, the local yeast mines should crank back up and that will be the first step to Syrian economic recovery.
>>

They need to rehab those ASAP even now to assist in logistics
Railways are almost a vital organ in functioning societies. It's the land based transport that can transport them most cargo, all while being far cheaper to operate than a plane.
If they could get China to develop a high speed rail after the war, you'd see development flourish in record time. They just need to make sure that the revenue from it will be sufficient to pay the debts

Hey guys, take a look at this map comparison. SAA is the biggest loser in this war: since 11th june 2016 they lost Arak, launched failed Ithriaya-Tabqa offensive. Now ASSadists are in worse situation in Deir-ez-Zaur. And their offensive to DeZ haven't any success. Everyone (PMU, Iraqi forces, Kurds, Euphrates Shield) takes the upper hand against ISIS but SAA. They can't even make some progress in the empty desert.

Oh it's legit, Syrian bread is a hot commodity in the middle east in general, so once they start getting some bread out of there and get some profits in things will be looking up, at least a little.
Look for Iran to be a big investor in the bakeries and yeast mines, Iranians are some of the biggest consumers of Syrian bread.

OPERATION LAVENDER CONTINUED.png
2MB, 3152x2120px
Could this be the next phase of Operation Lavender?

Syria:
>Secure Arak, then push up to Sukhnah (seizing it is optional)
>Then move to and seize T3 Airport/Pumping Station from northwest and south
>Then all forces at T3, Desert, and Border all converge on T2 Airport/Pumping Station and seize them.
>then, they move up the roads to the Euphrates and establish forward positions.
>The rest will go to the border crossing in the Red Star.
>Finally, they will establish forward positions near Abu Kamal, and consolidate their gains.

Iraq:
>PMU moves down the road to Tiwan and (Iraqi) T2 Pumping Station
>PMU in desert move to clear out the desert in a sweeping move, seizing the helibases and villages along the way.
>The PMU will also move up the road from Akashat and link up with the SAA at the border crossing in Red Star
>The PMU in the desert will converge on Al-Karabilah, and then fan out from there
>Finally, the PMU will establish forward positions near al-Qaim, and consolidate their gains.

Seizing that border crossing in the Red Star will mean an actual border crossing, and it is then less than 3 kilometers of road to pave. Check out map related in this post >>129517784

Guys this map shows the green area.
the guys are likely in that location north of hama city.

I deduce this because they used to be in a town al khattab further to the south ( 5km ne of hama city).
However the SAA over ran these areas, so I assume they have retreated. If they did not take a green bus, and walkd backwars they are likely present in the green.

maybe north of this too. but it narrows a search area.

It has worked in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and is starting to catch up in Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and probably alot of other countries that I don't have much knowledge of

Syria is war torn, and the wages are likely to remain very low after the war. This makes Syria a very attractive market for foreign investors into setting up industrial zones to use the cheap labor to manufacture for these companies and then export it to other countries.

Infrastructure is vital in this, but in many other aspects such as industry in general, transportation of people and tourism. The country will be rebuilt far quicker with an extensive infrastructure network. South Korea and Japan are prime examples in this.
And no, IQ doesn't matter in this

I found an area of interest. Definitely not sure if it's the place, but I think you guys should take a look at it. It's the northwest corner of Item 70:

He can meet up with the 5th corps north of al kadir, then continue onto deir ezzor or close up raqqa reinforcements from the south. I dont doubt his ability to do it, after all, there are no real stronghold villages in that area. the last was maskanah.

Assad is the only Syrian who knows all the secrets of the Syrian Bread. ISIS has tried to crack the code. But it is powerful bread. And many ISIS die baking.

Only the pure can bake, and survive.

Also this video, is derived from an original in which the isis guy is explaining how if u have a lot of faith in allah then even if put engine oil on the bread then it will taste good. Can't remember if this came off as a passive aggressive threat against criticisms of his cooking.

Anyway. He didna crack the code

Reminder Jordan was a US territory all along

>In 1946–48, Abdullah actually supported partition in order that the Arab allocated areas of the British Mandate for Palestine could be annexed into Transjordan. Abdullah went so far as to have secret meetings with the Jewish Agency (future Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir was among the delegates to these meetings) that came to a mutually agreed upon partition plan independently of the United Nations in November 1947. On 17 November 1947, in a secret meeting with Meir, Abdullah stated that he wished to annex all of the Arab parts as a minimum, and would prefer to annex all of Palestine.. This partition plan was supported by British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin who preferred to see Abdullah's territory increased at the expense of the Palestinians rather than risk the creation of a Palestinian state headed by the Mufti of Jerusalem Mohammad Amin al-Husayni.

>Abdullah's role in this war became substantial. He distrusted the leaders of the other Arab nations and thought they had weak military forces; the other Arabs distrusted Abdullah in return. He saw himself as the "supreme commander of the Arab forces" and "persuaded the Arab League to appoint him" to this position. His forces under their British commander Glubb Pasha did not approach the area set aside for the new Israel.
>After conquering the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, at the end of the war, King Abdullah tried to suppress any trace of a Palestinian Arab national identity. Abdullah annexed the conquered Palestinian territory and granted the Palestinian Arab residents in Jordan Jordanian citizenship. In 1949, Abdullah entered secret peace talks with Israel, including at least five with Moshe Dayan, the Military Governor of West Jerusalem and other senior Israelis. News of the negotiations provoked a strong reaction from other Arab States and Abdullah agreed to discontinue the meetings in return for Arab acceptance of the West Bank's annexation into Jordan.

Question for /sg/

So in 2000 Syria's parliament amended the constitution so that Assad could take over for his father. Is this not corruption/abuse of power?

Also with the last election Parliament only nominated Assad to run so he had no competition.

How can you defend this?

>>129526752
It's called universal morality.

The parliament is clearly devoted to Assads family for an unknown reason.

Also it is a single party system where when they run for parliament the party only allows those that conform to their beliefs to run.

This is objectively a corrupt system

The only thing I don't know is how the Free Syria Army or NySA compare or what they want from the current regime that they are not getting
>>
#Tomorrow is the day of The Tiger,I heard so at least.
>>
>>129526425
your question is silly trollbait.

whether it is corruption or not is a matter of relativity. Certainly you are not suggesting that the USA govt is not corrupt at many levels, in principle and practice. Are you suggesting the whole USA govt get the hell out of dodge?

In terms of defending...well, i don't think there is a need. Every country travels it's own path, in it's own time. It's not about where u are in year x. It's about the course you chart for tomorrow.

And considering the country he got in 2000, he was making it more open and democratic on the way to 2011-14.

You can't just undo 50 years of dictatorship. But u cannot accuse assad of not heading in the direction of meaningfull reform.

No but serious though. How the fuck is ISIS logistics even functioning right now? Even if they have billions of dollars how do they smuggle physical resources to their thousands of fighters?

They have oil fields but no refineries to make petrol for their vehicles. It would need to be smuggled in.

They no longer have access to any significantly sized lakes for water.

And are the minor villages they control really enough to supply all their food requirements? Where does their shit come from anymore?

I can believe that they just bought enough ammo in their golden years to last them until now. But everything else seems unbelieveable.

I can even name Asia to be a region where Democracy is still an alien concept for many

Japan, Singapore and Taiwan are de-facto single party states despite having multiparty systems, simply because their ruling party is approved by the vast majority over many decades

China and Vietnam has managed to progress tremendously with their single party state, meaning less unnecessary opposition from career politicians

Indonesia progressed under Soekarno and Soeharto, and the growth was maintained under the succeeding administrations

Philippines had been democratized fair enough and was the second wealthiest country in Asia, but after the ousting of Strongman Ferdinand Marcos, everything went to shit(although the economy started to decline mostly after his political opponent Benigno Aquino got mysteriously assassinated). Once the Liberal Party took over, they went through a history revisionism, and treated Martial Law under Marcos like the Shoah, and oligarchy and political dynasties grew like seaweed after that

South Korea is suffering political instability
